Two BASARA Vs Big Japan matches are added to the undercard. Isami Kodaka and Takuya Nomura will have their first singles match against each other. The two rookies Tetsuo Usui and Takuho Kato are also going to face off.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “WRESTLE PRINCESS”, 07/11/2020
Tokyo Dome City Hall

1. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) Vs Mizuki

The biggest match Tokyo Joshi Pro can offer is happening at the biggest stage on their horizon. Mizuki won the Tokyo Princess Cup two years in a row but still sees herself positioned behind Yuka Sakazaki. There are two reasons for this. One, Sakazaki is the Princess Of Princess Champion and two, Mizuki has never beaten her. Tokyo Dome City Hall is where The Magical Sugar Rabbits will pop at their loudest!

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO PRINCESS CUP FINAL” Results

August 29, 2020

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO PRINCESS CUP FINAL”, 29/08/2020
Shinjuku FACE
??? Fans – Withheld

1. Nodoka Tenma, Yuki Aino & Mina Shirakawa defeated Hyper Misao, Raku & Himawari Unagi when Tenma pinned Unagi with the Killswitch (7:51).
2. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Mizuki defeated Maki Itoh with the Cutie Special (12:59).
3. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Shoko Nakajima defeated Miyu Yamashita with an Inside Cradle (15:34).
4. Yuka Sakazaki, Mirai Maiumi & Sena Shiori defeated Yuki Kamifuku, Mahiro Kiryu & Haruna Neko when Sakazaki pinned Kiryu with the Magical Magical Girl Splash (12:15).
5. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Suzume defeated Natsumi Maki, Hikari Noa & Pom Harajuku when Watanabe pinned Harajuku with the Tear Drop (10:26).
6. Tokyo Princess Cup – Final: Mizuki defeated Shoko Nakajima with the Cutie Special (16:23).

Mizuki win the Tokyo Princess Cup for the second year in a row! Due to shows being cancelled due to the Coronavirus, the semi-finals were pushed back to the same day as the final. Mizuki met Shoko Nakajima in the final. Nakajima immediately went for a Topé Suicida but Mizuki got out of the way and Yuka Sakazaki took the dive at ringside instead. Mizuki then hit a Diving Foot Stomp and a Diving Body Press to the outside. Mizuki later stopped the Diving Senton from happening so she could do the Avalanche Cutie Special. Nakajima almost won with the Northern Lights Suplex but Mizuki kicked out and took back control with a Codebreaker. She weakened her opponent with more Double Stomps until finally winning with the Cutie Special.

Mizuki hugged Sakazaki after receiving the trophy. She thanked everyone for supporting her and excitedly told Sakazaki she won over and over. She then said she wants to have a match against Sakazaki because she is still ahead of her as the Princess Of Princess Champion. Sakazaki said that would be a good match and a miracle title match needs to take place in a miracle venue. Sakazaki Vs Mizuki for the Princess Title will happen main event “WRESTLE PRINCESS” at Tokyo Dome City Hall on 7th November! They hugged again and closed out the show together.

Nakajima ended Miyu Yamashita’s miracle run in the Princess Cup. The focus was on the Northern Lights Suplex. Yamashita kicked out of it once and resisted being given the move a second time but Nakajima turned it into a Small Package to get the three count. Yamashita said she is disappointed she lost to Nakajima and go eliminated from the tournament. She now knows her own weaknesses and will have do something about it. She wonders if she is still too naive over her obsession to win and has to figure out how to shine and become stronger.

Mizuki had to fight past Maki Itoh in a meeting of the original Itoh Respect Army. Itoh got a nearfall with a Swinging DDT then went for the Itoh Special. Mizuki fought out of it and caught Itoh in the Cutie Special for the victory. Itoh declined to shake hands after the match. She instead gave Mizuki the middle finger. This one was out of respect. At least I think it was supposed to be. Backstage Itoh said today’s defeat was the biggest shame of the year. The only solution is to get stronger. In the beginning she just tried to fight her best but Itoh has outgrown that mindset. It’s too tacky for her. That is why Itoh is going to fight the way she wants to fight from now on.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “BRAND NEW WRESTLING 4 ~TAKE NOT, BUT GIVE~” Results

July 23, 2020

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “BRAND NEW WRESTLING 4 ~TAKE NOT, BUT GIVE~”, 23/07/2020
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
490 Fans – Super No Vacancy

1. Moka Miyamoto Debut Match: Mirai Maiumi & Sena Shiori defeated Moka Miyamaoto & Suzume when Maiumi pinned Miyamoto with a Lariat (8:25).
2. Himawari Unagi Return Match: Pom Harajuku & Mahiro Kiryu defeated Himawari Unagi & Haruna Neko when Harajuku pinned Unagi with the Pom do Justice (8:18).
3. Hikari Noa defeated Raku with the Uranage (7:24).
4. Mina Shirakawa defeated Yuki Kamifuku with the GSS (8:20).
5. Yuna Manase Regular Participation Last Match: Miyu Yamashita, Mizuki & Natsumi Maki defeated Yuna Manase, Nodoka Tenma & Maki Itoh when Yamashita pinned Tenma with the Crash Rabbit Heat (16:06).
6. Princess Tag Team Titles: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe (c) defeated Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao when Tatsumi pinned Misao with the Missile Hip (13:50).
*V3 for Daydream.
7. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) defeated Yuki Aino with the Magical Girl Niwatori Yaro (18:00).
*V3 for Yuka Sakazaki.

The world of Tokyo Joshi Pro is constantly evolving. Yuka Sakazaki proved that by doing a 450 version of the Magical Girl Splash to beat Yuki Aino. Even Sakazaki herself was surprised by how far she flew with that move. She said after the match that she shouldn’t be stagnant in situations like these which is why she used what is now called the Magical Girl Niwatori Yaro. She celebrated in the ring with Mizuki to close out the show. Sakazaki’s next goal is to win the Tokyo Princess Cup so she can continue her title reign without having any further challengers.

Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao pulled out all the stops in their attempt to win the Princess Tag Team Titles. It’s been six months since TJPW was in Korakuen Hall so the two of them wanted to give everyone a fun and exciting pro wrestling match. The most exciting thing they could think of was beating Daydream by any means necessary! Misao used cold spray to blind Miu Watanabe and taped her feet to the corner post so she was left hanging outside the ring. Misao brought out her bicycle and tried to run Watanabe over but Watanabe lifted herself up and Misao crashed into the railing. Nakajima filled the ring with kaiju toys but she was slammed on top of them by Watanabe. She used the Tear Drop on Nakajima, leaving Rika Tatsumi to scoop up the win by hitting Misao with the Missile Hip Attack. The champions agreed it was a really fun match.

Yuna Manase has bid farewell to Tokyo Joshi. She won’t be gone forever but her future lies elsewhere. In the final moments of her match, Manase took a Skull Kick from Miyu Yamashita. There were no hard feelings over it, they hugged after the match. Manase hugged Mizuki and Natsumi Maki too. She said she loved being inside the Tokyo Joshi ring. She will definitely come back again someday and when she does she will be able to fight on a higher level.

Jealousy reared its ugly head within Cat’s Pye, causing Yuki Kamifuku and Mina Shirakawa to face off in a Gravure Wrestler Showdown. Shirakawa won the match with her Glamorous Strong Style Facebuster. There was a tense moment afterwards when Kamifuku hesitated shaking Shirakawa’s hand. But she did so and and two friends left the ring together. Kamifuku said in a backstage interview that she wants to learn more about pro wrestling now she has been doing it for four years. Shirakawa has been inspired by Jushin Liger but he doesn’t match Kamifuku’s taste. So Kamifuku is going to start watching Shuji Ishikawa matches from All Japan.

The other two thirds of The Up Up Girls had a singles match together. Raku came close to a win with the Doctor Yellow. Hikari Noa hit back with a Lariat and won with the Uranage. The result has only motivated Raku to try even harder for her first singles win.

Himawari Unagi returned to the ring for her first match in nine and a half months. She had a new costume and new entrance music for her comeback match. She reunited with three of the other HiSPC wrestlers, teaming with Haruna Neko to wrestle Pom Harajuku & Mahiro Kiryu. Neko got rid of Kiryu with the Codebreaker but Unagi couldn’t seal the deal. Harajuku hit the Pom do Justice to end Unagi’s return with a loss.

The newest Tokyo Joshi debut is Moka Miyamoto. She majored in Japanese Culture at university which is why she wrestled in a hakama. Suzume was there to help out but most of the match was Miyamoto trying to fight off Mirai Maiumi & Sena Shiori.

There will be 21 women entering this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup. The full list is Yuka Sakazaki, Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe, Shoko Nakajima, Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh, Natsumi Maki, Mizuki, Hyper Misao, Nodoka Tenma, Yuki Aino, Hikari Noa, Raku, Yuki Kamifuku, Mina Shirakawa, Haruna Neko, Pom Harajuku, Mahiro Kiryu, Himawari Unagi, Mirai Maiumi and Suzume.

The Tokyo Dome City Hall show will go ahead on 7th November. At the moment they are permitted to set up the venue to 50% capacity.

Tokyo Itabashi Green Hall

1. Naomi Yoshimura Vs Hideki Okatani
2. Kazusada Higuchi & Saki Akai Vs Antonio Honda & Keigo Nakamura

6. Konosuke Takeshita Vs Yukio Naya
7. DAMNATION Vs DISASTER BOX!: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao Vs HARASHIMA, Yuki Ueno & Kazuki Hirata

Yesterday was eventful for HARASHIMA. He is normally a very private person away from wrestling but he announced he recently got married! Oh and yesterday was also his 46th birthday. Again, information that wasn’t publicly known until now. So yeah, things are going swell for him at the moment.

BASARA “BASARA 129 ~BANQUET~”, 14/07/2020
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT Vs Masato Kamino & Tetsuo Usui
2. FUMA & Yusuke Kubo Vs Daichi Kazato & Leo Isaka
3. 3 Way Tag Match: Ryuichi Sekine & Minoru Fujita Vs Ryota Nakatsu & Akiyori Takizawa Vs Takumi Tsukamoto & Yasu Urano
4. Daiki Shimomura Vs Takato Nakano
5. IRON FIST Tag Titles – Turnabout Pro Wrestling Trial: Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga (c) Vs Gouma Ryu & Ryuji Ito (Defendent: Ryuichi Sekine)
6. Union MAX Title: Fuminori Abe (c) Vs Isami Kodaka

It’s been very quiet on the BASARA front for the last few weeks. They haven’t been posting much news on their website. Instead their priority was running the Clutch bar in Shinjuku. Well this week they have plenty to talk about. The Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament is coming back but first they have a Banquet show to get through. The IRON FIST TAG Titles match is now also a Pro Wrestling Trial with Ryuchi Sekine going to court.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “BRAND NEW WRESTLING 4 ~TAKE NOT, BUT GIVE~”, 23/07/2020
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Aona Debut Match: Aona Vs X
2. Himawari Unagi Return Match: Himawari Unagi Vs X
3. Yuna Manase Regular Participation Last Match: Yuna Manase, Nodoka Tenma & Maki Itoh Vs Miyu Yamashita, Mizuki & Natsumi Maki
4. Princess Tag Team Titles: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao
5. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) Vs Yuki Aino

Yuki Aino won the No. 1 Contender match to earn the Princess Of Princess Title shot. Beating Yuka Sakazaki for the title would be a tremendous way to cap off the last few months for her.

What a powerful force Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao can be together. The kaiju and superhero might be the strongest combination around to take the Princess Tag Titles from Daydream.

Yuna Manase has decided to end her regular participation with Tokyo Joshi Pro on 23rd July. Manase has been wrestling for TJPW since 2017 and in the last year reached several achievements. She made it to the final of the Tokyo Princess Cup and won the International Princess Title. However she couldn’t win the Princess Cup final and failed to defend the International Title even once. Her wrestling career began in Stardom, went to Actwres girl’Z and ended up in TJPW. All three companies mean a lot to Manase so she spoke to Rossy Ogawa, Tetsuya Koda and Keiji Sakaguchi before making this decision. She does not want to quit pro wrestling but she understands she is in the latter stages of her career. The time has come for her to try something new yet she hasn’t decided on what her future will be past the 23rd.

6. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai (c) Vs HARASHIMA, Antonio Honda & Riho
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs Yuki Ueno

I don’t know what goes on in Shinya Aoki’s mind. He chose Maku Donaruto as his next DDT Extreme Title challenger. What must he be thinking to do with him?

Akiyama-gun have been training for the 8-Man Tag against ALL OUT. Their latest session also included Yukio Naya and Keigo Nakamura as sparring partners. Hideki Okatani said he is learning a lot of details from Jun Akiyama in a way that is different from when he was a trainee. Mizuki Watase said he would like to use the Front Neck Lock the same way Akiyama does it. Makoto Oishi is also eager to wrestle like his coach does. Akiyama joked that the entire group is cohesive except for Oishi. One last thing, Akiyama-gun are looking for an official unit name and have asked fans to come out with one. They will pick a name in time for the Korakuen Hall show.

Shin-Kiba 1st RING
142 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House

1. Mizuki defeated Sena Shiori with the Cutie Special (6:28).
2. Hikari Noa defeated Haruna Neko with the Uranage (5:44).
3. Miyu Yamashita & Yuna Manase defeated Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao when Yamashita pinned Misao with the Skull Kick (0:58).
3a. Rematch: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao defeated Miyu Yamashita & Yuna Manase when Misao pinned Yamashita with La Magistral Cradle (8:38).
4. Maki Itoh, Raku & Pom Harajuku defeated Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Suzume when Itoh submitted Suzume with the Itoh Deluxe (13:14).
5. Natsumi Maki defeated Mahiro Kiryu with the Backlash (7:01).
6. Yuka Sakazaki, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Yuki Kamifuku, Mina Shirakawa & Mirai Maiumi when Aino pinned Maiumi with the Venus DDT (15:44).

Yuki Aino challenged Yuka Sakazaki for the Princess Of Princess Title after the main event. She explained she thought progress would come slowly but she recently learned in pro wrestling you have to be sudden. So she wants to test her strength against the champion for the belt. Suddenly Yuki Kamifuku Dropkicked Aino and grabbed the microphone. She wants to challenge Sakazaki first. Sakazaki said she is happy to see so many girls in Tokyo Joshi Pro aiming to become the champion. But Aino and Kamifuku will have to fight each other to get the next shot. Their match will happen on 4th July at Ryogoku KFC Hall.

Natsumi Maki had her first match back in three months, winning against Mahiro Kiryu. She wants to wrestle matches that will give her enough energy to challenge for any of the three Tokyo Joshi championships. She also tried to paint “Poi” on her cheek but used a mirror so it ended up looking like “109”. It’s something a little different she wanted to do now she is back.

In a preview of their Princess Tag Team Titles match, Maki Itoh & Raku were on the winning side against the champions. Itoh shouted threats to Daydream afterwards. Pom Harajuku had to pull her away from them.

The Backspin Kick Miyu Yamashita uses to great effect is now called the Skull Kick. She used it to pin Hyper Misao to ended their tag match in under a minute. Misao’s plan was to make Yamashita dance to “Genghis Khan” and it worked until Yamashita kicked her. They agreed to an immediate rematch. This time Misao blinded Yamashita with cold spray and stole the win with La Magistral Cradle.

TJPW trainee Aona will have her debut match on the 23rd July Korakuen Hall show. She was originally supposed to have her match on 3rd May before the show was cancelled.

Spring Is Blooming But Everything Will Probably Get Cancelled Anyway

March 23, 2020

Who knows how much of this will stick in the next few days. I’m writing this while hearing the Olympics are likely to get postponed until next year. If that’s going down then no way does the pro wrestling schedule in Japan for the rest of the year remain unscathed.

BASARA “BASARA 125 ~BANQUET~”, 24/03/2020
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Tetsuo Usui Vs Akiyori Takizawa
2. Ryuichi Sekine, Minoru Fujita & Gouma Ryu Vs Yusuke Kubo, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT
3. FUMA & Antonio Honda Vs Yasu Urano & Masato Kamino
4. Tsutomu Oosugi, Banana Senga & Daichi Kazato Vs Takumi Tsukamoto, Takato Nakano & Leo Isaka
5. IRON FIST Next Challengers Decision Battle: Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura Vs Ryota Nakatsu & Naoki Tanizaki
6. Union MAX Title: Masahiro Takanashi (c) Vs Fuminori Abe

Spring is beginning to bloom which means BASARA’s schedule is ramping up. If nothing gets cancelled then there will be 3 or 4 BASARA shows a month happening up to July.

BASARA “BASARA 126 ~OSAKA CAMP SPRING TAISHO~”, 28/03/2020
Osaka Azalea Taisho Hall

1. Takato Nakano Vs Jun Masaoka
2. 3 Way Match: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Gouma Ryu Vs Daichi Kazato
3. Losers Of 24/3 Challenger Tag Match Vs Fuminori Abe & Tetsuo Usui
4. Takumi Tsukamoto, Yasu Urano & Masato Kamino Vs FUMA, Yusuke Kubo & SAGAT
5. Ryuichi Sekine Vs Minoru Fujita
6. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga (c) Vs Winners Of 24/3 Challenger Tag Match

The No. 1 Contenders for the IRON FIST Tag Titles won’t have to wait long for the title match.

Ryuichi Sekine Vs Minoru Fujita looks like a de facto No. 1 Contender’s match for the Union MAX Title. Don’t know why else two Sento Minzoku wrestlers would face off against each other. Then again I’ve been struggling to follow BASARA ever since the split so I have to be missing the context for it.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SPRING TOUR ’20 ~HEART & BODY~”, 28/03/2020
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Haruna Neko Vs Mirai Maiumi
2. Yuna Manase Vs Sena Shiori
3. Natsumi Maki & Hikari Noa Vs Mina Shirakawa & Suzume
4. Shoko Nakajima & Nodoka Tenma Vs Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu
5. Yuka Sakazaki Vs Pom Harajuku
6. Princess Of Princess Title Next Challenger Decision 4 Way Match: Miyu Yamashita Vs Mizuki Vs Hyper Misao Vs Yuki Aino
7. Princess Tag Team Titles: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Maki Itoh & Raku

The Tampa show next month being cancelled means Yuka Sakazaki Vs Su Yung can no longer go ahead. That means there is currently no No. 1 Contender for the Princess Of Princess Title. To keep Sakazaki from feeling lonely on top for much longer, a 4 Way Match will be held this week to determine her next challenger. The options are the previous champ Miyu Yamashita, Sakazaki’s regular tag partner Mizuki, superhero trickster Hyper Misao and breaking out of the pack Yuki Aino.

Yukio Sakaguchi has stepped up to challenge Masato Tanaka for the KO-D Openweight Title. It’s only been around three months since Eruption was formed and they are already making their move to take over DDT! Tanaka is bringing in Takuya Sugawara to even the numbers a little.

Konosuke Takeshita, Chris Brookes and Yuki Ueno were going to be in Tampa along with the Tokyo Joshi Pro crew but that’s not happening now. The three of them will instead wrestle each other back in Japan. Show them what America will miss lads.

The 5th Match in the Okibariyasu series is going to be kick heavy. Saki Akai faces the freelancer Syuri.

2. Hataage 6th Anniversary Match ~New And Old Ganpro Vs Tomodachi-gun~: Ken Ohka & Keisuke Ishii Vs Minoru Fujita & Hagane Shinno

Who has the more beautiful Moonsault, Asuka or Shinichiro Tominaga? Who has the more perverted Moonsault? Does that even make sense? Either way, the answer for that one is Tominaga. I still haven’t gotten over the time he compared himself to XVideos in a promo.

So right now the SSA main event is Tanaka Vs Endo. But there are still title matches to come and Right To Challenge Gauntlets still in play that can completely change the course of the KO-D Title scene over the next two months. Also the Coronavirus cancelling everything but let’s not think about that.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SPRING TOUR ’20 ~HEART AND BODY~” Results

March 21, 2020

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SPRING TOUR ’20 ~HEART & BODY~”, 21/03/2020
Tokyo Itabashi Green Hall
210 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Rika Tatsumi defeated Sena Shiori with the Twist Of Fate (7:27).
2. Yuna Manase, Yuki Kamifuku & Mina Shirakawa defeated Pom Harajuku, Mahiro Kiryu & Haruna Neko when Shirakawa pinned Harajuku with the Implant DDT (7:57).
3. Hyper Misao defeated Nodoka Tenma with La Magistral Cradle (6:43).
4. Maki Itoh & Raku defeated Miu Watanabe & Suzume when Raku pinned Suzume with the Doctor Yellow (10:46).
5. Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Hikari Noa defeated Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Mirai Maiumi when Mizuki pinned Maiumi with the Diving Foot Stomp (13:11).
6. Miyu Yamashita defeated Natsumi Maki with the Crash Rabbit Heat (10:59).

Third time was not the charm for Natsumi Maki. She is now 0-3 in singles matches against Miyu Yamashita. Maki left her guard down after hitting a Thrust Kick, allowing Yamashita to catch her with the Backward Kick. When Maki struggled to get back to her feet, Yamashita hit the Crash Rabbit Heat to win. After the match Maki refused to shake her opponent’s hand and walked off angry. Yamashita said she wants to have a fourth match with Maki but only when one of them has a championship. That way they will both be stronger when the time comes.

Yuka Sakazaki is feeling lonely because she no longer has any Princess Title defences coming up. She just has to wait for a new contender to appear.

Maki Itoh didn’t want to shake her opponents’ hands only because she wanted to avoid close contact. She also wanted to take this match seriously in preparation for her Princess Tag Team Titles match with Raku next week.

Both Hyper Misao and Nodoka Tenma drank milk during their match to recover from each other’s moves. Tenma took so long to drink a liter of milk that Misao pinned her to win.

Rika Tatsumi will release a solo photobook on 3rd May.

The result makes her want to spring into defending the tag titles. Rika Tatsumi started a fight with Itoh which is stronger, Tatsumi’s “diamond hips” or Itoh’s “big head”. Tatsumi is also still bitter over losing a singles match to Itoh last year.

6. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Chris Brookes (c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Masato Tanaka (c) Vs Konosuke Takeshita

After being away from the KO-D Openweight Title scene for a while, Konosuke Takeshita is excited to be chosen as the next challenger. He remembers his dad once renting an FMW video tape with Tanaka’s matches on it. Ever since then Takeshita has followed Tanaka’s career. Now his name will be written into the Reiwa era of Tanaka’s wrestling history. Tanaka was honored to hear this but he still thinks he will beat Takeshita. He is from the land of athletes worthy of being athletes because of his background with Gold’s Gym. When the match takes place, Tanaka will make the fans think he is still strong. He named the four wrestlers he thinks are the symbols of DDT: HARASHIMA, Tetsuya Endo, Daisuke Sasaki and Konosuke Takeshita. Tanaka is one win away from having a clean sweep against all of them.

Sasaki briefly stole the DDT UNIVERSAL Title right after Chris Brookes became the first champion. He gave the belt back and apologised for his thievery. He promised to reflect on his actions and will only claim the title belt by winning it as an athlete. Brookes does not believe Sasaki is being honest. He thinks Sasaki is strange like an old dog. His promise is to put Sasaki out of his misery and maybe even stab him. Brookes warned that their match for the UNIVERSAL Title will not be a true representation of his ring skill. It will be a dirty match on both sides.

A lot more is happening on this show. Naomichu Marufuji returns to wrestle for DISASTER BOX, the Business Alliance of DAMNATION & #STRONGHEARTS are pitted against the newest DDT unit Eruption and 19 year old Hideki Okatani has his debut match.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2020 WINTER ~WONDERFUL HARMONY~” Results

February 11, 2020

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2020 WINTER ~WONDERFUL HARMONY~”, 11/02/2020
Kitazawa Town Hall
270 Fans – Super No Vacancy

1. Hyper Misao & Nodoka Tenma defeated Yuna Manase & Mahiro Kiryu when Misao pinned Kiryu with the Hipami Returns (7:36).
2. Yuki Aino & Haruna Neko defeated Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Kamifuku when Aino pinned Kamifuku with the Venus DDT (8:47).

4. Maki Itoh, Raku & Pom Harajuku defeated Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Suzume when Raku pinned Watanabe with the Doctor Yellow (14:01).
5. Natsumi Maki & Hikari Noa defeated Mizuki & Mirai Maiumi when Maki pinned Maiumi with the Backlash (12:50).
6. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) defeated Lana Austin with the Magical Magical Girl Splash (10:48).
*V2 for Yuka Sakazaki.

The series between Yuka Sakazaki and Lana Austin ends with Sakazaki still holding the Princess Of Princess Title. Sakazaki has gotten to know Austin so much after their matches together and hopes they will interact again in the future. Now that she has successfully defended her title twice, Sakazaki’s love for the belt has grown deeper. Her next goal as champion is to defend the title in Tampa at the Tokyo Joshi Pro USA show this April. She wants to fight the best wrestlers no matter where they come from. Doesn’t matter if they are Japanese, American, British or even aliens from outer space.

Raku wins a match for the first time ever thanks to some new moves added to her repertoire. She used a Sling Blade on Miu Watanabe then pinned her with a Jumping Swinging Neckbreaker called the Doctor Yellow. Maki Itoh congratulated her but said if Raku wants to be like her then she should not be satisfied with just one win. Raku agreed and challenged Daydream to a Princess Tag Team Titles match! Rika Tatsumi accepted but needed to know who Raku would team with. Itoh said she would do it so everyone will find out what is stronger, her head or Tatsumi’s ass. Tatsumi was insulted and said her ass is a diamond. Raku thanked the fans for supporting her so far. They are her treasure and she wouldn’t be standing here without them. Itoh informed Raku that a special training regime for the match begins tomorrow.

The lesson Mina Shirakawa learned from her match against Miyu Yamashita was that wrestlers who focus on a particular move can be really strong, like Yamashita and her Spin Kicks for example. When they first met 5 years ago, Shirakawa was only at the show to perform a musical number as part of P-Samba. Now they’re having matches together and travelling around the world to wrestle.

Nodoka Tenma brought a giant chocolate bar to the ring as a gift for Hyper Misao because it was their first time teaming together. Also it is nearly Valentine’s Day. Misao reacted badly because Valentine’s Day gave her trauma. When Misao was 15 there was a boy she liked named Yamamoto. On Valentine’s Day she saw a cute girl confess her love to Yamamoto inside an empty classroom and the bitter memory has stuck with her ever since. Yuna Manase would happily take the chocolate if Misao couldn’t take it. Mahiro Kiryu then had an idea. The best way for Misao to get over her Valentine’s trauma is to feed her the chocolate! Tenma fed her a piece and Misao became revitalised. The plan worked too well because Misao then shouted “Happy Valentine!” after every move until she pinned Kiryu with the Hipami Returns.

Tokyo Joshi will put together a free show for women only in Itabashi Green Hall on 26th April.
