DJ Nira now has the sole Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere contract to cash in at any DDT produced show from now until the Budokan Hall show. After winning the KO-D Championship on Sunday, Masa Takanashi is the only wrestler to successfully cash in the contract since its inception.

Union has come up with a convoluted way to decide their first challenger for the new DDT Extreme Champion, Yuko Miyamoto. Six wrestlers will be randomly split into three teams. The three teams will then face each other in a 3 Way Tag Team match. The winning pair will then have to face each other to decide who will face Yuko Miyamoto for the title on 4th May.

Indie sleaze legend Goro Tsurumi will attend the show. He is also bringing two of his previously unknown sons to compete. Not much is known about them other than the countries they are from. El Hijo del Goro is from Mexico. Goro Jr. is Japanese but has spent the last few years living in Europe. An interesting note for those who don’t know, DDT General Manager Tsurumi Amon is Goro’s nephew. That explains Amon’s hairstyle and single fighting glove for anyone who wanted to know why he looked like that.

Disaster for Hiroshi Fukuda. First he gets dropped by his precious mentor Rumi Kazama for his lack of success in the ring. Now Rumi has sided with pretty boy Rion Mizuki for his upcoming rematch with Fukuda.

Match #2 will be Princess Makoto’s first match in Union as a wrestler. All of her previous appearances were as a valet to Choun-Shiryu & Cao Zhang.

For the first time in its history, Union will be holding a 60 minute Iron Man Tag Team match. On one side you have BIG “G” BANG, a team that has been unstoppable since its formation. On the other side you have Team Ohka, who have only just recently began teaming together and even scored an upset victory in their first match as a duo. It was Ken Ohka’s idea to have the Iron Man match. Ishikawa doesn’t think it will be a close battle. In fact, Shuji thinks he and Shigehiro Irie can win the match 60-0. He then said they can get in contact with Guinness and set a world record for the highest score ever set in an Iron Man match.

1. Hiroshi Fukuda (w/ Rumi Kazama) defeated Rion Mizuki with a School Boy (7:30).
2. New Keizo Matsuda & Yoshiya Yamashita defeated New Sanshiro Takagi & Big Rude when Matsuda pinned Takagi with a Lariat (8:38).
3. If Cherry Loses, Her Real Age Becomes Public: Cherry defeated Mio Shirai with the Spring Night Love (7:34).
4. BEST OF THE SUPER Ohka: Kengo Ohka defeated Ken Ohka with the Shinken (17:14).
5. 1,000 Roses Death Match: Shuji Ishikawa & Shigehiro Irie defeated Isami Kodaka & Ryuichi Sekine when Ishikawa pinned Sekine with the Splash Mountain onto the roses (19:39).

The 1,000 Roses Death Match contained many weapons that were covered in roses. They included a table, a ladder and two boards that were laid against opposite corners. Despite not sounding as dangerous as your typical death match, blood did flow from the wrestlers as they fought. After the match, Shuji Ishikawa and Isami Kodaka shook hands.

Cherry defeated Mio Shirai to prevent one of the greatest secrets in puroresu from being unveiled… her age. Cherry was forced to bring her passport to Shin-Kiba to use as proof of her age if she had to reveal it. The passport was kept in a safe backstage while Cherry fought the 24 year old Mio. When the match was over, the safe was given back to Cherry. But when she opened it, the passport was replaced by a hand written note. The note said “I have your passport. If you want it back, fight me. GAMI.” Cherry was upset that her passport was stolen. Not only is her age at risk from being made public, but Cherry now cannot travel overseas. She accepted GAMI’s challenge and thanked the fans for supporting her.

New Sanshiro Takagi and New Keizo Matsuda will face each other in a singles match at Union’s return to Korakuen Hall on 4th May. El Generico will also return on that show.

Hiroshi Fukuda’s promise to win his match with the Perfect Plex did not happen. He had to take a spray can from ringside and strike Rion Mizuki over the head with it and then roll him over with a School Boy to get his hand raised. Fukuda’s mentor Rumi Kazama was not pleased with his performance and she gave him a Buzzsaw Kick as punishment. Kazama stormed off backstage and left Fukuda crying in the ring.

Union’s relationship with New Beijing Pro Wrestling is coming back to life. Choun-Shiryu, Cao Zhang and Princess Makoto will all return on Union’s 8th April event in Shin-Kiba 1st RING.

Sanshiro Takagi is now the No. 1 Contender for the KO-D Openweight Title. Takagi remembers when Danshoku Dino defeated him to become the champion seven years ago. Now he wants the roles to reverse and go on to Budokan Hall as the KO-D Champion, where Minoru Suzuki will be waiting for him. Meanwhile, Takagi told Takao Soma that he wants them to defend the KO-D Tag Team Title at least 30 times before the 15th Anniversary show takes place, even if it means defending the belts every day. They are also open to a rematch with the former champions Yasu Urano & Yuji Hino.

Shigehiro Irie claimed that he weighed himself before the show and was now 105kg, making him eligable for the AJPW Jr. Heavyweight Title match DDT is scheduled to hold in Korakuen Hall on 1st April. Interim GM Kota Ibushi and current champion Kenny Omega weren’t so sure he was telling the truth, so they brought a weighing scale down to the ring and weighed him. Irie’s weight was actually 105.5kg. Kenny suggested that Irie would reach the target if he took all of his clothes off while Ibushi kept on saying “105.5kg” over and over. Irie shook Kenny’s hand and promised he would reach the weight limit to get his title match.

Crying Wolf scored a major victory over Homoiro Clover Z in an 8-Man Tag Team Elimination match. Yuji Hino proved to be the difference maker despite costing his own team an elimination near the end. Danshoku Dino was left dumbfounded by his team’s defeat. DJ Nira appeared and stirred some trouble by blaming Hiroshi Fukuda for not dancing hard enough to the Momoiro Clover Z music they play during matches for motivation. Fukuda took offence and said he is not the weak link of the group. To prove it, Fukuda will face the debuting Tetsuya Endo on April 1st.

The theme for Match #3 was “Students Pro Wrestling” where HARASHIMA and GENTARO used gimmicks from their college pro wrestling days. HARASHIMA wrestled as Ashura while GENTARO was Hachibe.

DDT announced that Genba Hirayanagi from Pro Wrestling NOAH will compete for them on the 1/4 Korakuen Hall show.

Hiroshi Fukuda is determined to beat Rion Mizuki with the Perfect Plex so he can impress Rumi Kazama.

Yoshiya Yamashita is from K-DOJO. Taichi Mazato is from nkw and was a part of the New Axe Bombers group that was involved in last year’s dark matches for Union.

A triple shot is set for Hakata Star Lanes on 20th March. Big Japan Wrestling and DDT will both be holding shows throughout the day ending with a joint show put together by Antonio Honda & Jaki Numazawa. So far the list of wrestlers taking part include Numazawa, Honda, Abdullah Kobayashi, Danshoku Dino and Makoto Oishi.

One last thing, I set up a Dramatic DDT Twitter account earlier today but it is currently in limbo due to me now having two active accounts. As soon as the problem is sorted I will post the Twitter link on this site.

The little stunt pulled by Sanshiro Takagi & Takao Soma yesterday is not going over well with the DDT General Manager. Takagi & Soma, who have clearly been watching one too many CM Punk videos, are currently rebelling against the establishment so they can make DDT more interesting. In this case, the establishment is Tsurumi Amon and only Tsurumi Amon. After winning the KO-D Tag Team Titles on Sunday, the new champions quickly had their first title defence at a GUTS World event a few hours later. Takagi explains that he wants to promote DDT and defending the KO-D Tag Title in other promotions helps his cause. Amon is pissed off at Takagi for constantly ignoring his decisions and making title matches without his permission. Takagi has also promised to have a KO-D Tag Title match in STYLE-E on 17th March. Amon is already sending the big guns after the champs to get the belts back as soon as possible. Homoiro Clover Z teammates Danshoku Dino and KUDO will team up and face Takagi & Soma in the main event of next week’s show in Hakata Star Lanes.

Shigehiro Irie has been granted a shot at the AJPW Jr. Heavyweight Title but only on the condition that he weighs under 105kg on the day of the show. 105kg is the weight limit for Jr. Heavyweight wrestlers in All Japan.

Also appearing on the show is the debut of Tetsuya Endo and Finnish wrestler Nico Valentine, who previously wrestled in Japan for SMASH. DDT will also be hosting a Strategy Presentation for its plans throughout the rest of 2012.

But Did You Know, That When It Snows…

The main event is exactly what it says. Union will provide a more romantic sounding hardcore match where 1000 roses will be brought to the ring in boxes and other displays. They will even stapled to wooden boards and wrapped around ladders.

I’m surprised to find out that the BEST OF THE SUPER Ohka bout will be the first singles match between Ken Ohka and Kengo (Mashimo) Ohka. Kengo was originally brought into Union as the new and improved version of Ken Ohka. At the press conference for this show, Ken let slip that the BEST OF THE SUPER Ohka concept could involve more than just himself and Kengo. “If there is anyone who identifies himself as Ohka, I will recruit him,” said Ken.

Union are also attempting an experiment for the show. They are asking for anyone with previous amateur wrestling experience to participate in a dark match before the show. I’m not sure if they mean amateur wrestling as in the Olympic sport or if they mean people who took part in the Japanese equivalent of backyard wrestling clubs. Probably the latter since many of the wrestlers DDT and Union have recruited in the past came from college wrestling clubs and tiny indie sleaze feds.

2. Giant Bashoku defeated Jie Mai Nakazawa, Xiang Jie & Humpback Jie when Bashoku pinned Nakazawa with the Fire Thunder Driver (0:25).
3. Giant Bashoku defeated Jet Bar with the Power Bomb (5:39).
4. Choi Lee defeated Xiang Mon Ying with a Small Package (4:46).
5. Moto Tairo & Shokaku defeated First Emperor & Next Emperor when Tairo pinned First Emperor with the Hokuto Zan Kai Fist (6:11).
6. Xiahou Dun & Xiahou Yuan defeated Earl Dino & Son Goku when Dun pinned Goku after the Cactus Flower (9:16).
7. Hiroshi Fukuoka & Murata Kanazawa Vs Yasuo Atsushi & Statue Of David ended in a No Contest when Kanazawa and David were both killed (11:00).
8. Choun-Shiryu defeated Cao Zhang with the Reverse Chinese Gory Bomb Special (12:54).

Right, let’s see if I can finally write out the complete and correct story. Apologies for all of the previous mistakes. The added use of Chinese terms along with the usual Japanese language made this a lot more difficult to translate and understand. I got a lot of fun out of trying to figure it out though, so it was worth it. Anyway, on with the story…

New Beijing Pro Wrestling was bought out by Bushoroad, a company that creates counterfeit card games. Power shifted from its previous ruler Emperor Liang to Chiang Wei, a young man with state-of-the-art ideas. With a new ruler came a new image for New Beijing. Its roster would be re-trained in a cram school environment before they could wrestle again. Unfortunately, the takeover revealed the dark underbelly of New Beijing, and a bunch of the now exiled wrestlers formed the Ryozanpaku48 to take back the company for themselves. The group sent a message to Bushoroad by kidnapping Princess Makoto and holding her hostage in Japan. In response, Bushoroad brought together its best “students” and sent them on a mission to rescue Makoto. This would lead to a battle that Chinese legends say only happen once every four years… the Heaven Six Wheel Challenge.

The battle was long and contained many casualties. It also happened to resemble a pro wrestling show. After many lives were lost, Choun-Shiryu was the only Bushoroad warrior left. In order to reach Makoto, he had to get past the mysterious general of the Ryozanpaku48. Much to Shiryu’s horror, the general turned out to be his former tag team partner Cao Zhang! It was he who kidnapped Princess Makoto! The two fought a violent duel that spread all across Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. But when the dust finally settled, Choun-Shiryu was the last man standing.

Defeated and disgraced, Cao Zhang begged Choun to deliver the finishing blow and kill him. Choun decided not to and told Cao “Yesterday’s enemy is today’s friend!” Cao then brought Choun to the prison where Makoto was being held. Choun burst through the door, freed Makoto from her shackles and embraced her. As they kissed, Choun realised that Makoto was a lot more thicker than he remembered. That’s when he realised the woman he freed was not Princess Makoto but another woman. The real Makoto was actually standing beside them the whole time, unharmed.

As the show ended, the audience were presented with an epilogue. Three months have passed since the Heaven Six Wheel Challenge. All of the fighters who seemed to have died in battle were saved with first aid and all made full recoveries. Bushoroad and the Ryozanpaku48 reconciled and the exiled fighters were allowed back into New Beijing. But just when it looked like there was finally peace, disaster struck. The president of Bushoroad was suddenly murdered! A piece of paper was found near the president’s body with the word “Devil” written down. It was then revealed that the man who murdered the president was none other than Piccolo Daimao!

The End.

When the show finally ended, Choun-Shiryu addressed the audience. He does not know what will happen to New Beijing in the future, but if the fans in attendence want it to come back to Japan again, he will think about holding another show in one year’s time.
