6. Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ – B Block: Ryota Nakatsu (4) defeated SAGAT (0) with the V Slider (13:13).

Block A Standings

1. Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi (8)
2. Ryuichi Sekine (6)
3. Yusuke Kubo (4)
-. Takumi Tsukamoto (4)
5. Best Stretchman V3 (2)
6. Takato Nakano (0)

Block B Standings

1. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi (6)
-. FUMA (6)
3. Isami Kodaka (4)
-. Ryota Nakatsu (4)
5. SAGAT (0)
-. Gouma Ryu (0)

SAGAT is no closer to getting his first win in this year’s Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~. He fell to Ryota Nakatsu in the main event. Technical wrestling defeated brute force in this contest. Nakatsu joked that his baseball practice at the Tokyo Dome earlier in the day helped him win the match. He now looks ahead to his final group match against Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi.

Cavalry’s success continued with Ryuichi Sekine beating Yusuke Kubo in the semi-main event. Sekine is currently undefeated with two matches left on his schedule.

While MC.33 and Trans-Am ★ Shinya were wrestling, Shinya asked what does the MC stand for? MC.33 said MCs are people who are familiar with music. Suddenly MC.33 transformed the wrestling match into an entrance music quiz. The Trans-Am ★ Family got the questions right and used the moves of Stone Cold and The Rock after correctly guessing their songs. Angry at losing, MC.33 brought out a samurai sword and sliced through the Trans-Am ★ Family. However they got back up as soon as they realised it was a fake sword. They knocked MC.33 out of the ring with a Big Boot and Shinya then pinned Fuminori Abe with the Δ Drive.

Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi is almost on the home clear with one match left for him to fight for in Block A. He added a submission move to his repertoire, the Trans-Am ★ Shooter. The rookie Takato Nakano had nowhere to go when he was locked in the move. The only opponent left for him is Ryuichi Sekine. And wouldn’t you know it, Sekine is the only one who can realistically catch up with him at this point.

FUMA came to the show to wrestle but Gouma Ryu wanted to talk about music instead. Ryu said he’s been listening to Dreams Come True and B’z because they make music that anyone can listen to. He wanted to know why FUMA likes heavy metal. FUMA said it is because of people like Ryu and he then attacked him to start the match. Ryu fought back by summoning the power of Tetsuya Komuro and other J-Pop artists. When the match reached its end, FUMA admitted that the music of B’z is close to metal so they’re ok. He then pinned Ryu with the Heavy Metal Anthem.

Best Stretchman V3 thought Takumi Tsukamoto was a monster fisherman because he uses the Fisherman Suplex. Tsukamoto proved him wrong by using the Dodon to beat him. Although he is out of the tournament, Tsukamoto wants to finish his run by beating Yusuke Kubo so he can finish with 6 points.

Isami Kodaka will hold an event celebrating his 15th Anniversary in wrestling at Korakuen Hall on 1st October. The show will feature wrestlers associated with Isami from all over the wrestling industry, not just BASARA.

1. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi (6)
2. Isami Kodaka (4)
-. FUMA (4)
4. Ryota Nakatsu (2)
5. SAGAT (0)
-. Gouma Ryu (0)

The Trans-Am ★ Family continue to smash through the competition and lead both blocks undefeated. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated his friend SAGAT in the main event. Hiroshi admitted afterwards that he has never praised SAGAT until now. He was impressed with how SAGAT fought his best because the audience put their support behind him.

The odds on Gouma Ryu beating Isami Kodaka were improved when rumours spread across the locker room that Kodaka was wrestling with a neck injury. Ryu’s attacked Kodaka from behind but rather than fight back, Kodaka instead brought in two chairs and asked Ryu to sit down and have a chat. When that was finished they began to wrestle again. Kodaka overcame his injuries to win the match. He shook Ryu’s hand afterwards and thanked him for a good match.

Takumi Tsukamoto finally registered some points after a poor start, beating Takato Nakano in the opener. Despite playing catch up he does not want to rush himself in the ring. Being impatient will not help him find the breakthrough strategy that will get him back in the points race.

The third show of the Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament was headlined by a rematch of last year’s final. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Isami Kodaka last year to win the tournament and repeated the success and was able to beat him again today as part of the group stage. Hiroshi told Kodaka afterwards that he has his respect but he has to win because he is the No. 1 Gaijin in BASARA!

It’s been a poor start to the tournament for Takumi Tsukamoto. First he loses to Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi, next he loses to Ryuichi Sekine. Two defeats in a row against arguably the two toughest wrestlers in Block A is not a good sign for Tsukamoto’s chances to finish in first. Sekine is in good spirits despite feeling in a lot of pain after the match. He thinks his match with Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi at the end of the group stage will determine who will win Block A.

Best Stretchman V3 continues to think his opponents are monsters and he is the superhero sent to vanquish them. His not so secret identity was exposed when Yusuke Kubo unmasked him to avoid the Best Stretch Bomb. Surprise, it’s Daichi Kazato! Kubo pinned him with a Gedo Clutch and Kazato hurriedly covered his face with a shirt to avoid being seen.

Gouma Ryu realised that trying to wrestle properly wasn’t going to work out for him. So inspired by his opponent Ryota Nakatsu, Ryu decided to study MMA to prepare for this match. After all, UFC is selling more PPVs than WWE nowadays and superstars like CM Punk and Batista made the jump over so why not him too? Ryu declared the match was now an MMA fight but the request was not granted. He tried to have an MMA fight anyway and tapped out to an Armlock.

5. BASARA Three Major Special Single Match: Dick Togo defeated Yusuke Kubo with a Gedo Clutch (9:34).
6. BASARA Three Major Special Single Match: Yuji Okabayashi defeated Isami Kodaka with the Argentine Backbreaker (11:28).
7. Hardcore Tag Match: Takumi Tsukamoto & SAGAT defeated Gunso & Shoichi Uchida when SAGAT pinned Uchida with the Gore Grind (16:54).
8. Union MAX Title – BASARA Three Major Special Single Match: Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi (c) defeated Ryota Nakatsu with the Perfect Five (16:11).
*V1 for Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi.

The 2nd half of today’s Korakuen Hall doubleshot was held by BASARA for their second ever visit to the building. The Trans-Am ★ Family were dominant with wins in both of their big matches. Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi successfully defended the Union MAX Title against Ryota Nakatsu in the main event. Ryuichi yelled “C’mon Young Boy!” at Nakatsu as they wrestled but Nakatsu reversed the roles when he hulked up against the champion’s offence late in the match. Sadly for Nakatsu he was knocked loopy with the Luxurious Lariat and Ryuichi put him away with the Perfect Five. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi congratulated Ryuichi after the match and they both spoke in English about the upcoming Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament.

A table, ladder and a pile of chairs were placed in the ring and dub music played over the sound system for the Hardcore Tag Match. After several failed attempts SAGAT finally earned a win over Gunso although he had to pin Shoichi Uchida to do it. Takumi Tsukamoto hit Uchida with the O’Cannon Bomb after Uchida missed a Splash from the top of the ladder. Tsukamoto then held Gunso back while SAGAT pinned Uchida with the Gore Grind.

Gunso wasn’t shaken by his team’s loss. He describes hardcore wrestling like it was a sushi shop and Dove Pro Wrestling’s “sushi” is the best! He wants more BASARA Vs Dove Pro Wrestling matches but wants to hear what BASARA’s “sushi store manager” Isami Kodaka has to say. Kodaka played along with Gunso’s metaphors and called BASARA a family restaurant. Gunso challenged Kodaka to send BASARA wrestlers over to Dove Pro. Kodaka couldn’t agree to it but made a deal with Gunso. BASARA will be holding two shows at Shin-Kiba 1st RING in August, one on the 23rd and one on the 24th. They are offering to book Dove Pro wrestlers to take part in the shows. Gunso accepted and said he will bring the entire roster. Kodaka told him he can’t do that. Gunso must choose who to bring because BASARA can’t afford to pay the travelling expenses for an entire outside roster. Kodaka then warned that he is preparing his best dish for the Dove Pro wrestlers the show. He is preparing SAGAT!

Kodaka went into his match with Yuji Okabayashi knowing that it would be almost impossible to beat him. That turned out to be right but hey at least he tried. Kodaka had a few tricks up his sleeve like trying to goad Okabayashi into throwing Chops that were easy to dodge. He also targeted his leg and was able to Suplex him onto the floor while they were outside the ring. Tatsuhiko Yoshino even begged for Okabayashi to get counted out so it wouldn’t ruin Kodaka’s special day in Korakuen. Okabayashi did not oblige and when he got his hands on Kodaka he didn’t waste his opportunities. Kodaka had some chances here and there like moving away from the Golem Splash and getting a two count with La Magistral Cradle. But Okabayashi caught him with a Power Bomb and lifted him back up into the Argentine Backbreaker for the submission victory. Okabayashi said that power is everything. It doesn’t matter what skill and tricks Kodaka has, Okabayashi will always bounce back with power!

Dick Togo out-wrestled Yusuke Kubo in a match between teacher and student. Togo was one step ahead most of the time and countered Kubo’s Goro Suplex into the Pedigree. Kubo blocked the move but Togo manoeuvred him into a Gedo Clutch for the match winning pinfall. Kubo bowed to Togo after the match. In a backstage interview, Kubo said he was 17 years old when he first met Togo. He is 30 now. He went into this match thinking it was the beginning of the end for him but Togo proved that there is a lot left for him to do.

A true patriotic battle took place as the Trans-Am ★ Family fought Masamune, Ryuichi Sekine & Fuminori Abe. A team could only win when one of their wrestlers used their country’s flag to pin an opponent for the three count. Trans-Am ★ Tanaka was seen for the first time yet wasn’t told about the rules so he went straight for the Minoru Special on Abe. The fans rallied more behind the Trans-Am ★ Family and gave “USA!” chants although they were followed by some “Nippon!” chants afterwards. The family got rid of Masamune & Abe so were able to focus their efforts on Sekine. He couldn’t withstand the numbers game and Hiroshi gave him with a Leg Drop with the Stars And Stripes on top of him to win the match.

The Gingin Boys made quite an entrance, hugging fans of all gender and getting them to place money in their tights and mouths. They scored a big win over IRON PRIEST by isolating FUMA from Hagane. At first FUMA had things in control and hit his big moves on YO-HEY. But a successful dodge led FUMA into a High Kick from Kenshin Chikano. YO-HEY then upped the pressure on FUMA until he pinned him with the Bamboo Dragon Fly, a multiple spinning splash from the top rope.

Court was in session as Best Stretchman V3 was put on trial by Tatsuhiko Yoshino. The two had to be held apart by Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama when they were all in the ring. Stretchman was accused of defamation when he called Yoshino a monster at the last BASARA show in Shin-Kiba. Ryu defended Stretchman by claiming his words were never meant to be taken under offence. He explained that Yoshino was an orthodox wrestler in Guts World but developed into a monster when he moved up to Big Japan. Yoshino disagreed and felt it was still meant to be an insult. Things took a turn when Maruyama pointed out that Ryu’s mother was in the audience. Ryu then took out one of his handwritten notes and read it to everyone. He said that he studied hard to become a lawyer so it would please his mother. But the work he did was so hard that he became a pro wrestler to bring him some relief. He hid this from his mother for so long that it became unbearable and he finally wanted her to learn the truth! Everyone was touched by this except for Yoshino. He attacked Ryu and told Maruyama to join in. Stretchman came to the rescue and fought them off. Ryu shook his hand as thanks but Stretchman then gave him the Best Stretch Bomb for the three count. Stretchman was declared Not Guilty by the judge.

Kodaka welcomed BASARA’s newest wrestler Takato Nakano by being his opponent for his debut match. Nakano wore a purple “Buddha-style” costume and was put through his paces by the veteran Kodaka. He was able to catch Kodaka with a Christo and a Wheelbarrow Facecrusher but otherwise it was all Kodaka in this match. Nakano tapped out to the Half Crab, as is tradition for debut matches in Japan. Kodaka encouraged Nakano to get back to his feet on his own after the match.

Yasu Urano Becomes A Freelancer, Golden Week Schedule, Ganpuro Nonsense

April 28, 2017

Yasu Urano announced yesterday that he will no longer be affiliated with DDT and will be going freelance at the end of May. Urano has been wrestling for 17 years and has been with DDT for the last ten. He wants to expand his horizons with the remaining time he has left as a wrestler. He has no concrete plan for the future but there are many wrestlers out there that he has never fought before. Sanshiro Takagi encouraged him to consider wrestling abroad. He also suggested Urano to set up his own group and call it either Socrates or Wrestle Socrates because Urano is a wrestling philosopher. Urano had already gone over his decision with the rest of Smile Squash before going public. HARASHIMA didn’t believe him the first time he was told. The second time Urano told him he assured that he wasn’t quitting pro wrestling. As for Soma Takao, Urano didn’t know what to tell him so he just sent him a LINE message saying “Sorry”. He will still be a part of Smile Squash until he goes freelance but what will happen to that relationship afterwards is anyone’s guess. Urano still intends to make appearances for DDT here and there. He confirmed that he will a part of “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2017” on 20th August.

7. BASARA Three Major Special Single Match: Isami Kodaka Vs Yuji Okabayashi
8. Union MAX Title – BASARA Three Major Special Single Match: Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi (c) Vs Ryota Nakatsu

Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi is boasting of his abilities with his clear, easy to understand English spoken in an obviously American accent. He call himself the best stripper and best wrestler in the world with a perfect body that Ryota Nakatsu cannot beat. Nakatsu doesn’t believe a word that comes out of Ryuichi’s mouth. He is convinced it is really Ryuichi Kawamura playing a character. Regardless it is Nakatsu’s desire to win the Union MAX Title that drives him. He watched the belt be defended in Union Pro but never progressed far enough to challenge for the title before Union closed down.

Isami Kodaka has two matches to prepare for on the show. He will be the first opponent for the debuting rookie Takato Nakano. Then later in the show he faces the Big Japan golem Yuji Okabayashi in a first time singles match. When thinking up strategies for the match Kodaka came to the conclusion that it will be impossible to beat Okabayashi in a straightforward wrestling match. With that said he is still practicing a lot of different ideas to try and win.

The Japan Vs America rivalry continues further down the card. Ryuichi Sekine doesn’t care if the political relationship between the two countries is currently nice and friendly. He thinks his 6-Man Tag match against the Trans-Am ★ Family will be the biggest fight of the century. He wants to this match to show all the great things about the Japanese. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi responded that he loves Japan. He loves the beautiful scenery, the delicious food, the pretty women in kimonos and Tokyo Disneyland. The only thing he does not like about Japan are three particular people: Masamune, Ryuichi Sekine & Fuminori Abe! Japan can improve as a country if those three people learn to speak English. So Hiroshi asked for the match to be a True Patriotic Pinfall match. The match can only be won by pinfall and the wrestlers have to cover their opponent with their country’s flag on top of them. Sekine is against the stipulation because his finisher is a submission move. The rule may also backfire on the Trans-Am ★ Family if the rumour that Trans-Am ★ Tanaka is really submission specialist Minoru Tanaka turns out to be true.

1. IRON PRIEST Vs Double ★ Trans-Am: FUMA & Yusuke Kubo defeated Trans-Am ★ Shinya & Trans-Am ★ Abe when FUMA pinned Abe with the Heavy Metal Anthem (8:59).
2. Reversal Pro Wrestling Trial: PSYCHO defeated Gouma Ryu and Konaka = Pale One when PSYCHO pinned both Ryu and Konaka with the High Fly Bomb (8:49).
3. Hardcore Match: Gunso defeated Takumi Tsukamoto with the Jorge Clutch (13:31).
4. Episode 2 – Death Penalty Of Best Stretchman V3: Isami Kodaka defeated Best Stretchman V3 with the European Clutch (8:42).
5. Cavalry Vs Hiroshi du Soleil: Ryuichi Sekine & Ryota Nakatsu defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT when Nakatsu submitted SAGAT with the Cross Armbreaker (12:42).

Ryota Nakatsu sent a message to Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi after the main event. Nakatsu said he is gaining confidence and in good shape but he didn’t get what he wanted today because Ryuichi wasn’t here. He wondered if Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi is related to Ryuichi Kawakami because he saw Kawakami carrying the Union MAX Title at a Big Japan show earlier in the week. No matter, Nakatsu will take the title from whichever Ryuichi at Korakuen Hall instead.

Nobody got a bigger hero’s welcome on this show than Best Stretchman V3. His entrance had loads of streamers and plenty of people cheering for him. His opponent Isami Kodaka couldn’t help but say how funny the situation was. The two traded stretching submission holds until Kodaka caught Stretchman with the European Clutch for the win. It was at that point when Stretchman discovered that you will lose a wrestling match by having your shoulders pinned down for three seconds. He thanked “Hardcore Samurai” for a great learning experience and now he understands the rules of pro wrestling.

Gunso’s dominance in BASARA Hardcore Matches continued with a big victory over Takumi Tsukamoto. Gunso ambushed him before the match then fought back and forth with chairs and a ladder. Tsukamoto tried to hit the Tiger Suplex but Gunso countered it into a School Boy for a nearfall. When Tsukamoto kicked out Gunso turned the move into a Jorge Clutch and this time got the three count.

PSYCHO was put on trial accused of using multiple identities to exploit promotions out of their fight money. PSYCHO would allegedly disguise himself as mute wrestlers even though he can plainly speak. His opening comments simply involved him mumbling about baseball. Gouma Ryu’s defence was PSYCHO cannot wrestle because he is an ordinary man and ordinary men do not wrestle. Konaka = Pale One objected and called Ryu an ordinary man who wrestles. Ryuichi Sekine and Isami Kodaka were brought in as witnesses. Kodaka accused PSYCHO of attempting to murder him with a Choke Slam one time in K-DOJO. When Ryu heard this he refused to defend PSYCHO any further. This led to PSYCHO attacking both Ryu and Konaka and he pinned both of them with the High Fly Bomb. The judge declared PSYCHO was Not Guilty.

The newest member of the Trans-Am unit did not make a good first impression. Trans-Am ★ Abe came out wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket, acting like he was The Rock. The leather jacket turned out to be his downfall because it would not come off properly when he gestured for the People’s Elbow. He bungled the move and missed, allowing IRON PRIEST to put him away. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi yelled “You’re Fired!” at Abe after the match. Abe begged for one more chance. Hiroshi offered to give him one but only if Abe kisses his ass. Abe abandoned his pride and kissed Hiroshi’s ass but was then given the Stunner. Hiroshi then announced that Trans-Am ★ Tanaka will debut as the group’s newest member on 29th April.

There is a new rookie in BASARA who is ready to make his debut. Takato Nakano introduced himself at the beginning of the show. Nakano is 22 years old and describes himself as not the dexterous type. He was surprised when Isami Kodaka entered the ring and announced he will be Nakano’s opponent for his debut match on 29th April.

5. Akito defeated Yasu Urano with the Hanamasa (11:21).
6. Happy Motels Final Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Antonio Honda & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Shuji Ishikawa & Tetsuya Endo when Honda submitted Sasaki with the Manjigatame (20:43).

It is all over for Happy Motels. With Konosuke Takeshita taking the throne as the top man in DDT, Antonio Honda felt it was time for everyone to move on. Their final match together with Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi included saw them victorious over DAMNATION. As an added treat it was Honda who scored the winning submission. He blocked Daisuke Sasaki’s Hurricanrana and countered it into a Dragon Suplex. When Sasaki kicked out Honda put him in the Manjigatame to make Sasaki tap. Honda said they would build a sexy statue of Hiroshi to celebrate the victory. He then said “April Fool’s!” Honda revealed that he came up with the idea of forming Happy Motel back when he saw Takeshita and Hiroshi wrestle each other. Hiroshi said he now feels lonely without Happy Motels but Honda reminded him that he is a pillar for BASARA and BASARA will always need him. Honda finished by saying even if they weren’t really a motel, they were still able to be happy and make others feel happy. They finished with a group pose and with that, Happy Motels have disbanded.

Something is going on with Akito, there is more to him leaving Smile Squash than just wanting a change in scenery. His match with Yasu Urano featured interference from Daisuke Sasaki and Tetsuya Endo. Sasaki gave Urano a Low Blow while Endo distracted the referee. Akito did not see it happen but still took advantage and pinned Urano with the Hanamasa. Urano offered a handshake after the match but Akito rejected him and stormed out of the ring. When Akito found out about DAMNATION’s interference he thought it was just an April Fool’s joke being played on him.

Yukio Sakaguchi and Yoshihiro Takayama continued fighting each other after the 3 Way Tag Match ended. Meanwhile Smile Squash are still adjusting to life without Akito. Soma Takao suggested that he and HARASHIMA go after the KO-D Tag Team Titles.

Royce Isaacs introduced himself to the audience at the start of the show. He wrestled in last year’s DNA Grand Prix and is happy for the chance to wrestle in DDT. He told the audience he will have exciting matches and they will not forget his name.

There is a change in plans for this year’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere challenge. Instead of a Battle Royal Ladder Match there will instead be five singles matches to determine who wins a contract. The matches are Akito Vs Kouki Iwasaki, Antonio Honda Vs Royce Isaacs, KUDO Vs Shigehiro Irie, Yoshihiro Takayama Vs Kazusada Higuchi and Keisuke Ishii Vs Yoshihiko. Each match will have a five minute time limit and if the time runs out the winner will be chosen by an audience vote.

1. Hagane defeated Daichi Kazato with the Ryanhei (8:23).
2. Reversal Pro Wrestling Trial: Fuminori Abe defeated Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama when Abe pinned both Ryu and Maruyama with the Rokudenashi Kick (12:07).
3. IRON PRIEST Vs Double ★ Trans-Am: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Trans-Am ★ Shinya defeated FUMA & Yusuke Kubo when Hiroshi pinned Kubo with the Perfect Plex (11:28).
4. Hardcore Tag Match: Gunso & Kabuki Kid defeated Takumi Tsukamoto & SAGAT when Gunso pinned SAGAT with the Diving Guillotine Drop With A Ladder (13:37).
5. Special Tag Match: Dick Togo & Ikuto Hidaka defeated Ryuichi Sekine & Ryota Nakatsu when Togo pinned Nakatsu with the Diving Senton (18:18).
6. Special Single Match: Isami Kodaka defeated Minoru Tanaka with the European Clutch (15:46).

Both Isami Kodaka and Minoru Tanaka were pleased with their match. Kodaka said he looks up to Tanaka and is looking forward to more matches with him because today wasn’t enough.

Dick Togo laughed when Ryuichi Sekine demanded a rematch so they could fight over and over and over. Meanwhile Ryota Nakatsu was holding his stomach still feeling the effects of the Diving Senton.

Gunso and his up-tempo music continues to rack up wins in BASARA. He beat up SAGAT with a chair, placed a ladder over him and then hit the Diving Guillotine Drop for the 3 count. Gunso says he has never lost in Dub Pro Wrestling. He and his buddy Kabuki Kid are Hardcore Craftsmen. SAGAT still has his eyes on Gunso though. He knows that Gunso eventually wants to face Kodaka but until then SAGAT will continue to chase after him.

Yusuke Kubo is offended by Shinya Ishida’s recent transformation into an American wrestler. He asked Shinya if he “abandoned the heart of the Japanese” while they wrestled each other. Shinya lured FUMA out of the ring while Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi hit Kubo with the Perfect Plex to win. FUMA, well, was fuming over the result and is annoyed with the Trans-Am team. He thinks they are all similarly named bastards with no personalities. They don’t even know about the Bay Area slash metal scene from the 1980s like he does!

Fuminori Abe was accused of being a fraudulent priest conning people out of money. Abe, who is allegedly a qualified monk, entered the ring for his trial wearing his monk clothing. Ryota Nakatsu and Ryuichi Sekine were called down as witnesses and asked to explain Abe’s method of conning people. Abe then exposed Sekine’s secret that he likes to spend his private time going to a pervert club where he can touch boobs. Sekine was especially embarrassed by the accusation because they were being watched live on DDT UNIVERSE. The All Japan balance was brought up and it ended up with Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama arguing with each other. They then turned to Abe, convinced he had cash that didn’t belong to him. Abe knocked both of them out and laid on top of both of them in a praying position for the double pin. He was declared Not Guilty afterwards.

Daichi Kazato is really getting into his stretching regime. So much so that he is going to become reborn on as the “Best Stretchman” on 23rd March.

1. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Shinya Ishida defeated Daichi Kazato & Tsutomu Oosugi when Hiroshi pinned Kazato with the Perfect Plex (10:05).
2. Reversal Pro Wrestling Trial: Hagane defeated Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama when Hagane pinned Maruyama with La Bufadora (12:54).
3. Metal Special Match: Minoru Tanaka defeated Yusuke Kubo with the B”D”F (10:42).
4. Ryota Nakatsu, Koji Iwamoto & Fuminori Abe defeated Isami Kodaka, Takumi Tsukamoto & Tatsuhiko Yoshino when Iwamoto pinned Yoshino with the Aloof Art (11:34).
5. Hardcore Match: Gunso defeated SAGAT with a Chair Attack (13:14).
6. Union MAX Title: FUMA (c) defeated Ryuichi Sekine with the Jawbreaker (17:56).
*V1 for FUMA.

FUMA was victorious in the main event but Ryuichi Sekine isn’t going to take it easily. Sekine yelled at FUMA after the match and swore that he will eventually win the Union MAX Title from him. The other members of Cavalry had to restrain Sekine and help him walk away from the ring. FUMA joked that his own hair was the same length as Phil Anselmo’s from his heyday in Pantera. He then proclaimed himself the “KING OF METAL WRESTLING”.

Gunso is quickly making a name for himself in BASARA. He defeated SAGAT in a Hardcore Match, even surviving a pre-match ambush from his opponent. His fighting style is called “Dub Wrestling” and music played as the two wrestlers battered each other with chairs. SAGAT was eventually worn down until Gunso finally threw a chair right at his face to keep him down long enough for the three count. Even then the two traded Heabutts with each other after the match.

Even though Koji Iwamoto is still a part of Cavalry, he entered the ring wearing an All Japan T-shirt. Today was his first appearance in BASARA since becoming affiliated with AJPW. Isami Kodaka, Takumi Tsukamoto & Tatsuhiko Yoshino were described as looking like Japanese tourists in Paris. They wore sunglasses, backbacks and had selfie sticks. Kodaka had enough with the silliness and broke his stick but Yoshino then yelled he needed that for work! Kodaka proceeded to take his smartphone and use it as a weapon while Yoshino panicked over it getting damaged. Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto found Yoshino so annoying they turned on him. Even the referee Yuya Okada got a dig in when Yoshino wasn’t looking. They all joined in with Cavalry for a Train Attack on Yoshino then counted along to Iwamoto pinning him.

Yusuke Kubo had a special opponent today, it was Minoru Tanaka! The two had a back and forth match that Tanaka won with a Diving Double Stomp he calls the B”D”F.

Today’s wrestling trial was a fraud case that was fresh off the oven. Hagane came to Shin-Kiba 1st RING to be in the Fighting Musical MAKAI show. When that was over he decided to stay in the building for the BASARA show. By doing so he avoided paying the entry fee and was accused of fraud. Hagane said he normally introduces himself as Madoka and wrestles in BASARA anyway. Atsushi Maruyama admitted that Hagane is a nice name. Further questioning turned into advertising for MAKAI’s next show in Shinjuku FACE on 2nd March. The trial broke down and turned into a match where Hagane pinned both Matsuyama and Gouma Ryu with La Bufadora (Springboard Moonsault). Hagane was then declared innocent.

Shinya Ishida’s luggage was stolen before the show so he arrived at the building without his wrestling gear. Luckily for him Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi gave him spare American style wrestling tights that would temporarily transform Shinya Ishida into Trans-Am ★ Ishida. The new look was a confidence boost and the Double Trans-Ams won their match against Daichi Kazato & Tsutomu Oosugi.

6. NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Titles: Ryuichi Sekine & Ryota Nakatsu defeated Isami Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto (c) when Sekine submitted Tsukamoto with the Let’s Combine (18:54).
*The Aldini Brothers fail in V3. Cavalry becomes the 22nd NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champions!

Cavalry strikes gold! They defeated The Aldini Brothers to win the NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Titles. Victory came when Ryuichi Sekine put Takumi Tsukamoto into the Let’s Combine. Isami Kodaka tried to cut him off but Ryota Nakatsu got rid of him by using the V Slider. Sekine applied more pressure to Tsukamoto until he gave up. Nakatsu complimented Sekine on his submission hold then admitted he cried when the bell rang and Sekine’s music started playing. Sekine brought up Kodaka’s speech from Friday about having to beat him more than once to become BASARA’s ace. Sekine invited Kodaka to try and win the belts back but warned him that he and Nakatsu will destroy him on their way to the top of BASARA!

It seemed like IRON PRIEST were making a new friend out of HUB. He joined in with their heavy metal posing after the match until he suddenly whipped FUMA with the long tail from his mask. HUB then admitted he can’t get along with those kind of people.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi warned his Osaka opponents about his and SAGAT’s devastating double team move, the Space SAGAT Torpedo 2. Although really he was trying to promote the T-shirts of the move that were on sale over by the merch stand. He then launched a surprise attack of the move with SAGAT but Tsubasa & Billy Ken Kid easily avoided it. SAGAT went for the Goregrind on on Kid but was stopped with a High Kick and pinned with La Espida. Both Tsubasa & Kid were confused over what there opponents were meant to be. They were expecting foreigners. I guess Hiroshi counts as one.
