*Mio Shirai fails in V3. Cherry becomes the 5th Union Fly To Everywhere World Champion!
6. Union MAX Title: FUMA defeated Isami Kodaka with the Diving Headbutt (19:08).
*V1 for FUMA.

Isami Kodaka was not 100% going into the main event against his former friend FUMA. Kodaka had medical tape going from his neck down to his back. FUMA wasted no time targeting it and also had the help of Kazushi Miyamoto & SAGAT in his corner. Kodaka wiped those two out with a dive but missed the Diving Double Knee Drop. FUMA capitalised and hit a Deadlift German Suplex, Tombstone Piledriver and then the Diving Headbutt to win his first defence of the Union MAX Title. FUMA told Kodaka “cheers for the hard work” after the match and crowned himself the ace of Union. FUMA then nominated Shuji Ishikawa as his next challenger for the 29/4 Korakuen Hall show.

Mio Shirai and Cherry threw a bunch of insults at each other as they wrestled. Cherry eventually got the better of Shirai and became a two time Fly To Everywhere Champion.

Kazushi Miyamoto & SAGAT wrapped a chain around Daichi Kazato’s neck after their tag match and hung him over the ropes. Isami Kodaka came to the rescue.

They played the FIFA anthem before Match #2.

6a. UWA World Tag Team Titles: Shuji Ishikawa & Masato Shibata defeated Isami Kodaka & FUMA (c) when Ishikawa pinned FUMA with the Splash Mountain (5:54).
*Isami Kodaka & FUMA fail in V4. Shuji Ishikawa & Masato Shibata become the 20th UWA World Tag Team Champions!

All the attention in Union is now on MEN’S Teioh and Kazushi Miyamoto. The two men both betrayed their tag team partners and joined forces. Teioh was teaming with Hiroshi Fukuda in what was Fukuda’s return to Union after injury. Miyamoto was teaming with Seiya Morohashi, a partnership formed by their love of gym workouts. However they weren’t on the same page in the match and at one point collided with a double Clothesline that missed its intended target. Fukuda was about to give Morohashi the Perfect Plex when all of a sudden Teioh whacked him with a chair! The rest of the Union roster came to the rescue and chased Teioh away.

But Teioh made his presence felt again in the main event, this time with Miyamoto with him. The UWA World Tag Team Titles were on the line, Isami Kodaka & FUMA versus Shuji Ishikawa & Masato Shibata. In the dying moments of the match Teioh & Miyamoto ran in with steel chairs and attacked everyone. The match was called a No Contest (but is still officially a successful title defence) and Teioh gave some parting words before leaving.

The UWA Tag Title match was restarted and everyone went full throttle. Ishikawa caught FUMA’s kicks and hit him with Headbutt after Headbutt. One Splash Mountain later and we have new champions! Ishikawa said he was going to eat more and wants everybody to become even stronger.

Madoka’s infatuation with AV idol Harumi Tachibana went up to another level today. He proposed to her! Harumi immediately turned him down. Madoka was in denial and said he would give her time to think about it while he wrestled Daichi Kazato. Afterwards Harumi told him he was being unreasonable but Madoka said he will not give up!

Ryu Gouma is suffering from a vomiting bug and was pulled from the show. Emi Sakura took his place in Match #2.

Union will bring back the Get The Glory! tournament next month. The first tournament was held in October 2013 and was won by Shuji Ishikawa. This year the tournament will be take place in two shows on 22nd February. This time twelve wrestlers will enter.

*World Men’s Club fail in V3. Isami Kodaka & FUMA become the 19th UWA World Tag Team Champions!
7. Union MAX Title: Hikaru Sato (c) Vs Shuji Ishikawa ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).
*V2 for Hikaru Sato.

Thirty minutes was not enough for Hikaru Sato and Shuji Ishikawa to settle their differences. The main event for the Union MAX Title ended in a time limit draw although Ishikawa hit the Splash Mountain seconds before the time expired. Ishikawa asked for a time extension so a winner could be decided. Naomi Susan explained that as champion it was up to Sato to decide if the match should restart. A draw counts a successful defence but she recommended to Sato that the match should continue. Sato hated the idea and rejected the plea. Ishikawa asked Sato how could he call himself the stronger man but Sato replied that he will have to try another day.

Daichi Kazato interrupted Sato with a Missile Dropkick from out of nowhere. He challenged Sato to a title match. If Ishikawa can’t get another chance then he will get one instead. Ishikawa respected Kazato’s plan but he wasn’t sure if he had what he takes. Ishikawa Headbutted Kazato to test him. Kazato took the hit and passed the test. Ishikawa told Kazato to work hard and he gave him his blessing to get the next title match. Members of the Union Sekigun then lined up and one by one struck Kazato with chops and kicks to transfer their power into him.

Hiroshi Fukuda will be going into All Japan with one less belt in his collection after today. He and MEN’S Teioh lost the UWA World Tag Team Titles to Isami Kodaka & FUMA. The Union team worked very well as a team, FUMA even wore wrestling gear similar to Kodaka’s. FUMA scored the pin with the Sole Butt on Fukuda to win his first ever championship.

Another championship changed hands when Mio Shirai beat Ladybeard to win the Fly To Everywhere Title. Ladybeard fought dirty, pulling Mio’s hair while yelling “This is women’s wrestling!” But Shirai avoided the Nutcracker and pinned the champion with the Tsuchigumo. Shirai said it was the first title she won since she signed her four company contract and then thanked Ladybeard for being a great opponent.

Union’s new masked wrestler is called Daichi. A former DDT wrestler in a previous life, he has come to Union after a long absence in the ring to restart his wrestling career. He had a successful Union debut as part of the winning side of a 6-Man Tag Team Match.

*Cherry fails in V4. Ladybeard becomes the 3rd Fly To Everywhere Champion!
7. Union MAX Title: Hikaru Sato (c) defeated Hiroshi Fukuda with a Shoulder Lock (23:45).
*V1 for Hikaru Sato.

It was Pancrase Vs “USA!” in the main event of today’s Union show. Hikaru Sato put his Union Max Championship on the line against the patriotic American Hiroshi Fukuda. While on paper the match looked one-sided, Fukuda turned out to be no pushover for the champion. Sato brought out the strikes and submissions but ignored the ref’s call to stop attacking Fukuda in the corner. Seiya Morohashi yelled at Sato to back off and the two kept glancing at each other until Fukuda started fighting back. Fukuda’s American style offence was effective going into the late stages of the match and the champ was in trouble when he was put in the Sharpshooter. Sato turned the tables when he countered a Discus Punch into a Shoulder Lock. Sato locked in the move tightly to the point where the referee stepped in and stopped the match in his favour.

Sato looked out among the Union wrestlers to search for his next challenger. He told them that they cannot just eat meat to become great, they have to eat ther vegetables aswell. Shuji Ishikawa approached Sato and challenged him to a title match. He promised to beat Sato and bring the MAX Title back to Union.

Ladybeard is the new Fly To Everywhere Champion after he defeated Cherry in the semi-main event. Cherry was prepared to embarress the challenger by bringing in an elctric shaver. She low blowed Ladybeard and then tried to shave him by force! Ladybeard had to bite Cherry’s arm in order to escape. Cherry did what she could but could not avoid the Nutcracker finisher. Ladybeard screamed with joy when he won the title and went on to call himself a really cute champion. In a backstage interview Ladybeard said he wants Mio Shirai to be his first challenger.

Ryu Gouma spoke about gambling on the World Cup at the beginning of the show. He rambled on about the typical penalties for illegally gambling and also some loopholes to get away with it. His moral of the story is it’s ok to gamble a little bit if you bet with something like a meal. Later in the show he took part in the Idea Pocket sponsored match against Madoka. Gouma had with him ¥30,000 and tried over and over to bribe Madoka to take a dive. Madoka wanted to take it but the referee kept stopping them. The referee eventually Super Kicked Gouma for his attempted bribary and Madoka then pinned him with a Small Package. After the match Idea Pocket announced that Tsubasa Amami has graduated from Union and this was her final show.

Some challenges were thrown out throughout the show. Daichi Kazato challenged Goro Jr. to a match after the 6-Man Tag. FUMA asked Mitomi Masayuki for another match sometime after he beat him in the opener.

*V3 for Cherry.
7. Union MAX Title: Isami Kodaka defeated Ivan Markov (c) with the Zan Isamu Leg (19:00).
*Ivan Markov fails in V2. Isami Kodaka becomes the 2nd Union MAX Champion!

The Union MAX Title is finally around the waist of a Union wrestler. Isami Kodaka had little time to recover from a successful BJW Death Match Title defence against Ryuji Ito to challenge for Union’s new championship held by the Russian Ivan Markov. The big turning point of the match was Kodaka countering a Super Power Bomb onto a stack of chairs outside the ring. Kodaka blocked the move and instead sent Markov into the chairs with a Hurricanrana. Isami won with the Isamu Zan Leg but offered a handshake to Markov after the match. He called Markov a strong wrestler who can go home to Russia proud of his performance. Markov shook his hand and afterward disbanded World Men’s Club.

Hikaru Sato stepped up to be the first challenger for Kodaka. He introduced himself as a Pancrase fighter who chose to rest in Union for a while. Kodaka took offence and told Sato Union is not a station so he should go somewhere else to rest. Kodaka accepted the challenge but FUMA then asked him why Sato got a shot so easily? Kodaka told him he will prove to Sato that Union is not a resting place.

Hikaru Sato’s entrance music tonight was “You Spin Me Round” by Dead Or Alive. Just wanted to point that out.

Cherry put away Mio Shirai to keep her Fly To Everywhere Title after weeks of bitchy comments between the two. Cherry told Mio that she was able to beat her because of how important the championship is. Ladybeard suddenly appeared after the match. He said he likes to wear women’s clothing so he wants to wrestle more with women in Union. He promises to bring a cute Japanese friend with him to wrestle at Union’s show in Korakuen Hall next month. He had to convince Naomi Susan that his friend really is a woman for her to consider his request.

Hiroshi Fukuda and HIROKI had a falling out over their 6-Man Tag loss to the Union Sekigun. Fukuda blamed HIROKI for not listening to a highly skilled wrestler such as himself. HIROKI in turn criticised Fukuda for cheating and told him he doesn’t understand wrestling. HIROKI brought in his UWA Tag Team Title and dared Fukuda to challenge for it. Fukuda said he would and brought in MEN’s Teioh to be his partner. HIROKI then introduced his partner and the title co-holder Yasu Urano! The title match was set for 27th April.

Ganbare☆Wrestling stepped up its attacks on Union with Ken Ohka leading his team to ambush Mitomi Masayuki in the opener. Seiya Morohashi & Daichi Kazato came to the rescue and the opening match ended in a double count out. The brawling between both sides continued so it turned into a 6-Man Tag No DQ match. The Ganbare team came out on top when Ohka pinned Kazato with the Spear Of Fire. Ohka then challenged Union to an Elimination Match in Kitizawa on 6th April and demanded Shuji Ishikawa to be included on Union’s team. Ishikawa accepted and another brawl broke out.

7. Union MAX Title: Ivan Markov (c) Vs Isami Kodaka

Ivan Markov sent a message to Union for his upcoming Union MAX Title against Isami Kodaka. Markov calls his challenger one of the most dangerous wrestlers in Japan and he understands why he has to face him. Markov accuses the Japanese of hating the fact that a gaijin has their championship and no matter how cool Isami acts, the fact is Markov has beaten him once and he will do it again soon.

Mio Shirai was absent from Union’s last press conference because she was busy wrestling for Oz Academy. She was represented at the conference by a drawing of a fox and was mocked by Cherry. Shirai found out about the drawing and had it with her at today’s conference. She asked if a 39 year old woman drew the picture, pretended to be her and made fun of her wearing dark make up. Mio admits to wearing the make up but says it’s okay for someone as young as her to wear it, unlike Cherry. In regards to the Fly To Everywhere Title, Shirai has never heard any wrestler in any of the four promotions she works for say “I want that belt.” But when she becomes the champion everyone will then want to win it.

Ladybeard is in action for the first time in Union after revealing his true self. He sides with Union in their latest battle with the World Men’s Club. With MEN’s Teioh currently out of action, the Club has brought in HIROKI to take his place.

Another mysterious message made up of paper and magazine clippings was delivered to Union HQ. The message has something to do with the Hikaru Sato Vs SAGAT match.

Shinichiro Tominaga has been forced to pull out of the show after dislocating his left shoulder. Tomohiro Otani takes his place on the Ganbare☆Wrestling team.

The latest Idea Pocket Diva joining the show is Nami Minami.

Miyu Yamashita is determined to defeat Nonoko so the plump woman will not become the face of Tokyo Joshi Pro. Nonoko says she takes pro wrestling seriously and told a tearful story about doing rock climbing and swimsuit modelling to make a living. She found pro wrestling and wanted to find acceptance as a 22 year old woman. Yamashita didn’t care for her long story and called out Nonoko for lying about her age.

Yuka Sakazaki is unsure what to make of her opponent Saki Akai. She thinks Akai is 2m 80cm tall so she’s been watching Attack On Titan to learn how to beat giants. If Akai is a Titan then that means her weakness is the back of her neck. Sakazaki then asked Tetsuya Koda if she could bring a knife into the match to chop the back of Saki’s neck with but he told her no.

The trainee previously known as Korei now has a new ring name for her official debut. She will now be called Erin and her debut match will be against KANNA. The inspiration for the name comes from the song “Help Me, Erin!!” which she found on Nico Nico Douga. Obviously the song is going to be her entrance music.

Ladybeard will be one of the musical performers on the show.

Ayumi Takada has resigned from Tokyo Women’s Wrestling. She said she could not continue training to her limits while trying to live as a member of society.

*V2 for Cherry.
8. Union MAX Title: Ivan Markov (c) defeated FUMA with the Neck Hanging Bomb (14:02).
*V1 for Ivan Markov.

World Men’s Club showed their strength over Union today with all of their members scoring victories over the Union roster. Ivan Markov took care of FUMA in the main event Union MAX Title match with a little help from his stable mates. Hiroshi Fukuda & MEN’S Teioh also scored a win over Isami Kodaka & Daichi Kazato.

If the World Men’s Club boasting of their superiority wasn’t bad enough, Union also now has a new invasion led by a former friend to deal with. Mid way through the show a banner with “Declaration of War” written on it was unveiled in the arena. All of a sudden Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari from Ganbare☆Wrestling appeared! Imanari said that Ganpuro saves wrestling from a rotten life. Naomi Susan didn’t want to deal with Ohka annoying her so she sent Daichi Kazato & Tomoya Kawamura after the invaders in an impromptu match. Unfortunately for them they had already wrestled while Ohka & Imanari were on fresh form despite wrestling in suits. The Ganpuro team won and struck the first blow in their invasion and continued fighting with their opponents until Mitomi Masayuki and SAGAT arrived. When the invaders finally left, Susan thanked the Union wrestlers for chasing them off and called for the show to continue.

Cherry said her Fly To Everywhere Title Match with Sareee was like wrestling a version of herself from 22 years ago. When asked what she was like 22 years ago, Cherry said she had a crew cut and participated in Judo. She hasn’t considered who her next challenger will be but wants to defend her championship more and more.

Shuji Ishikawa was challenged by Richard Burn to a match for the 11th February show in Yokohama. Shuji accepted and is interested in the Wrestling Vs Karate dynamic. Earlier in the show, Burn had his second match in Union. His martial arts background overwhelmed his opponent, this time the rookie Tomoya Kawamura. Burn knocked him out with the Afterburn in quick fashion.

SAGAT tried to get on Kyoko Kimura’s good side before their match by offering her bananas. Kimura didn’t even entertain the offer and kicked them away, making SAGAT angry. Kimura wound up beating SAGAT but offered him a banana after their match. SAGAT accepted it.

Union kicks off 2014 with a new enemy looking to take them down. Russian wrestler Ivan Markov won the brand new Union MAX Championship last month and formed World Men’s Club with MEN’S Teioh and Hiroshi Fukuda. The new unit will be in action for the first time as Fukuda & Teioh take on Isami Kodaka & Daichi Kazato. Markov also defends his new title  against FUMA.

???????????????????????????????

Isami Kodaka and Naomi Susan received a package from former Union wrestler Ken Ohka. The package contained eggs, milk, cuttlefish and a piece of paper with a crossed out eye drawn on it. There was also a message from Ohka saying he and his Ganbare☆Wrestling friends will break into Union and crash the event. Susan tore up the letter but was a little surprised with what she read. She and Kodaka also ate and drank the food that was in the package.

???????????????????????????????

Cherry challenged Sareee to a New Year Table Tennis Battle at the press conference. Sareee was not at the conference so an unknown man holding a cardboard cutout of her face over his head showed up instead and easily beat Cherry three times in a row. As a forfeit for losing, “Sareee” drew on Cherry’s face with a marker after every game until Cherry had enough and chased off her “opponent”.

Mitomi Masayuki will be out of action for a while because he is getting a bolt surgically removed from the ankle he broke last year.

Markov believes Japan is a country full of losers after defeating Union’s top two wrestlers Shuji Ishikawa and Isami Kodaka in recent months. FUMA himself has only just begun to be on the winner’s side of matches but his heart and spirit are in the right place.

Cherry suffered an upset defeat in a 3 Way Match at yesterday’s show, being pinned young Pro Wrestling Diana wrestler Sareee.
