It might not be serious but Urano will be resting for at least the next couple of days. Hikaru Sato was brought in to team with HARASHIMA & Hiro Tsumaki in Urano’s place. No word yet if Ura-Shima-Kudo is now going to be called Sato-Shima-Hiro.

5. Union Non-Certified US Heavyweight Title – Yokohama Rules: Hiroshi Fukuda (c) defeated Sanshiro Takagi by DQ after the Sit Down Himawari Bomb (7:12).
*V3 for Hiroshi Fukuda.
6. HARASHIMA & Hiro Tsumaki defeated Kota Ibushi & Gota Ihashi when Tsumaki pined Ihashi with the Jawbreaker (14:36).
7. Yasu Urano defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Tombstone Piledriver (16:06).

Yasu Urano got the better over Keisuke Ishii again to cap off a good day for Ura-Shima-Kudo. The group also got help in the form of the promising Hiro Tsumaki from Union to side with them during KUDO’s absence. Tsumaki has suggested the stable should rename themselves Ura-Shima-Hiro until KUDO returns. Ishii meanwhile was pissed that he lost to Urano. All of Team Dream Futures swore that next time they will not go easy on Ura-Shima-Hiro and they will drink more milk to get even stronger.

Hiro Tsumaki has named his Savate Kick finisher the Jawbreaker.

Hiroshi Fukuda presented referee Daisuke Kiso with the official rule book used for Yokohama wrestling matches before he squared off with Sanshiro Takagi for the Union Non-Certified US Heavyweight Title. When the match began, Takagi immediately hit the Stunner and pinned Fukuda. However, the match had to restart because Article #28 of the rules said that US Title matches in Yokohama must begin with a lockup. Takagi then quickly submitted Fukuda but Article #165 says that submissions in Yokohama are invalid. Third time around, Fukuda was counted out after Takagi Suplexed him outside the ring but Article #4 says that a 20 count must be used, so the match continued when Fukuda got back into the ring and gave Takagi the Perfect Plex for a nearfall. Article #495 then came into play as a 30 second timeout is used after every Perfect Plex. Takagi had enough and gave Fukuda the Sit Down Himawari Bomb. Unfortunately Article #999 says that moves where the victim is raised above the opponent’s shoulders then suddenly dropped are considered dangerous and result in an automatic disqualification. After the match Fukuda told the fans to spread the news on Twitter and Facebook that he beat Takagi.

5. Takao Soma & Shigehiro Irie Vs Hikaru Sato & Makoto Oishi
6. HARASHIMA & X Vs Kota Ibushi & Gota Ihashi
7. Yasu Urano Vs Keisuke Ishii

The feud between Ura-Shima-Kudo and Team Dream Futures has leapt to the next level after Keisuke Ishii put KUDO on the shelf with a dislocated elbow. Yasu Urano faces Ishii in what is sure to be a heated main event.

Due to KUDO’s injury, HARASHIMA will need to find another wrestler to team with him to take on Kota Ibushi & Gota Ihashi.

Sanshiro Takagi Vs Hiroshi Fukuda will now have Fukuda’s Union Non-Certified US Heavyweight Title on the line. Fukuda chose Takagi to be his opponent and Takagi responded by asking what the hell is this US Heavyweight Title, who certifies the championship and why is it being defended in DDT? Fukuda said it is the most prestigious US Title in Japan, that it is certified by Union and it will cause too much trouble to explain why DDT is hosting the title match. He then got Takagi to sign the certificate to make the title match official, even though Takagi doesn’t want the title.

KUDO’s injury from Monday’s “SAPPORO WRESTLING FESTIVAL 2012” show has turned out to be a dislocated elbow along with some ligament damage. He will be out for some time which serves a big blow to the newly formed Ura-Shima-Kudo faction.

As the No. 20th ranked wrestler in the DDT48 General Election, DJ Nira has been selected to replace KUDO for his match against Keisuke Ishii on 21st October. This also changes the Dark Match that Nira was originally booked for. The Dark match is now Yukio Sakaguchi & Hiroshi Fukuda versus Michael Nakazawa & Yoshihiko.

7. Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie defeated HARASHIMA & KUDO when Ishii pinned KUDO with two Kneel Kicks (16:11).

Team Dream Futures scored a big victory over Ura-Shima-Kudo when Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie defeated HARASHIMA & KUDO in the main event. KUDO injured his arm during the match and afterwards used a shirt as a makshift arm sling as he left the ring. Ishii bragged that in a year’s time Drift will main event DDT’s next annual Sapporo show, they will also main event every other DDT show and they will even main event every single wrestling show held in Sapporo.

Danshoku Dino Vs DJ Nira became a Loser Leaves Town match and thanks to some shenanigans ended up with Yukinori Matsui Choke Slamming Dino, allowing Nira to win. Nira then declared that all of DDT had to leave town. Dino corrected Nira and said the stipulation only lasted for one day and that next year DDT will hold two shows in Sapporo.

By the time Sanshiro Takagi made his entrance for the KO-D Tag Team Title match, he still didn’t know who his tag partner was. Shogun KY Wakamatsu brought along the Sapporo Machine to team up with Takagi but the team were unable to dethrone Tatsumi Fujinami & MIKAMI.

Yukinori Matsui also got involved in the Blindfold Death Match between Kenny Omega and Antonio Honda. Matsui performed a Double Clothesline to the two unaware wrestlers after he ended up in a few blind crossfires earlier in the match.

Kota Ibushi wins by a landslide and gets and does not have to wait long to get a rematch with El Generico for the KO-D Openweight Title. They will face each other in Korakuen Hall on 21st October.

This is the first election where the final spot is shared by two wrestlers. Sanshiro Takagi and his former protege Takao Soma both qualify to wrestle at the 21/10 show along with the top 17.

Originally, the wrestlers who finished between 20th and 23rd place qualified to compete in a dark match for the Korakuen show. But since El Generico finished 23rd and is already booked for the main event, his pre-show spot will be taken by Michael Nakazawa, who finished 24th. This is the second year in a row that Nakazawa qualified for the show by default.

The women continue their 100% qualification for the elections, which sounds impressive if you ignore the fact that Cherry and Mio Shirai are the only women who ever participated.
