2. KUDO & Yukio Sakaguchi defeated MIKAMI & Kazuki Hirata when KUDO pinned Hirata with the Diving Double Knee Drop (8:01).

*Makoto Oishi wins Shigehiro Irie’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.
4. Disolution? Continuation? Will Angry Ihashi Eat The Riders? – Loser Unit Disband Match: Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega & Daisuke Sasaki defeated Darth Gota, Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when Sasaki pinned Gota after the PK Mind (13:10).
5. King Of DDT Qualifying Match: Soma Takao defeated Akito with the Gin And Tonic (10:37).
6. HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo when HARASHIMA pinned Endo with the Somato (16:05).

Gota Ihashi needed to do something drastic in order to fight the Golden Storm Riders. His new stable was at risk of dying before it could even begin. When he did not appear alongside Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga for their Losers Must Disband match, Nakazawa explained that Ihashi gave in to his hatred and wound up inside a world of darkness. The Imperial March from Star Wars played over the speakers and out came Ihashi in his new form, Darth Gota! He had a drawn on moustache and wore an eyepatch that according to Nakazawa covered scratches so ugly it would give you a heart attack if you saw them. Darth Gota fought his former friends with all the vile and venom he could but the Storm Riders went out on top. Nakazawa & Tomomitsu turned on Gota after the match until the Riders returned to save Gota. Kenny Omega told Gota that the Riders are a four man unit and if he wants to speak his mind then he can. Gota said he fell to the dark side in order to catch up with Kenny, Kota Ibushi & Daisuke Sasaki. Kenny assured Gota that he is a valuable member of the team and asked him to stay. Gota did.

Makoto Oishi is currently on a hot streak. Fresh off of winning the DDT Extreme Championship, Oishi now also holds one of the two remaining Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contracts. Oishi surprisingly pinned Shigehiro Irie in a 6-Man Tag match with the Tornado Clutch. Afterwards Oishi pulled out of the King Of DDT tournament because he now has a KO-D Openweight Title shot whenever he wants, so why should he enter the King Of DDT? While he walked off laughing, Amon Tsurumi decided that Irie will now take Oishi’s place in the tournament.

It was revealed that the Research Institute will again be the sponsor of this year’s Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title Battle Royal at Sumo Hall. Former champion, Research Institute employee and possible Yoshihiko relative Akihiro was in attendance to observe today’s Battle Royal. The challengers all got together before the match and hatched a plan to get the belt off of Jun Akiyama. Even Sanshiro Takagi was part of the group despite his intentions to retire the title a few weeks ago. Poison Sawada again gave Antonio Honda a vial of S-Cells to drink, transforming him into Snake Antonio. Meanwhile Takagi brought in his own secret weapon, Saki Akai! The idol’s role was to be a “Red Venus Fly Trap”  and distract Akiyama with her sexiness while Toru Owashi literally laid a bear trap in the ring. Akiyama walked into the trap but recovered and wiped out nearly everyone chasing after him. Akai tried to distract Akiyama so he would step into the trap again but he did not fall for it. Akiyama was about to attack her when Takagi came to the rescue. Unfortunately for Takagi, he fell right into the trap! Takagi became easy pickings for Akiyama and the match ended with the Exploder Suplex. The champion taunted DDT afterwards asking if there was no one else to challenge him. Out came Danshoku Dino! He charged Akiyama for a Lip Lock only to get blasted in the face with an elbow. The rest of the wrestlers at ringside all pounced on Akiyama and held him in place. This time Dino gave the Lip Lock to Akiyama with no interruptions. Then all of a sudden Akihiro threw itself onto Akiyama and pinned him to become the new champion! When asked after the show if he wants to win the title again, Akiyama laughed and said no.

The 1st Round matches for this year’s King Of DDT tournament are as follows:

Antonio Honda Vs Yasu Urano
Shigehiro Irie Vs Soma Takao
Kenny Omega Vs Tomomitsu Matsunaga
MIKAMI Vs KUDO
Kota Ibushi Vs Keisuke Ishii
Masa Takanashi Vs Danshoku Dino
Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Isami Kodaka
Konosuke Takeshita Vs Daisuke Sasaki

*KUDO fails in V3. HARASHIMA becomes the 48th KO-D Openweight Champion! HARASHIMA cashes in his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.

There is just no stopping HARASHIMA. He is now a 6 time KO-D Openweight Champion after defeating KUDO in a rematch of their “JUDGEMENT 2014” bout back in March. HARASHIMA cashed in his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract to have this match and he is the second person to successfully get a championship for it. Masa Takanashi was the first but his cash in was on a weakened Sanshiro Takagi who had wrestled won the title moments before. Here the difference was HARASHIMA announced in advance he was cashing it on this day and KUDO was not wrestling anyone else. But no matter how much time KUDO had to prepare, HARASHIMA wound up being on top of the DDT mountain once again. There is no immediate challenger for the new champion due to the King Of DDT tournament beginning soon but two contracts are still in play. They are currently being held by Shigehiro Irie and Super Sasadango Machine.

It was a good day for Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie as they successfully defended the All Asia Tag Team Titles for the second time. Today they faced Yasu Urano & Akito from the newly formed Smile Squash faction. Irie says he wants to defend the belts more not just against DDT wrestlers but against All Japan teams too. But they are not interested in going after the KO-D Tag Team Championships right now. They waited so long to become the All Asia Champions that they are cherishing every moment they have with the belts.

Konaka Pale One and his brethren threatened to unleash a capsule monster into the arena but Ultraman Robin and his Robin Rangers came to the rescue. The two forces fought a foracious battle under Lucha Libre rules. Ultraman gained possession of the capsule and decided to use it on the Pale Ones. He threw it down to summon the monster but nothing happened. The match continued until Endo Pale One missed a Moonsault and Takagi Robin pinned him with La Magistral Cradle. Ultraman Robin checked the capsule after the match and came to the conclusion it was faulty. No matter, he protected Nagoya and that’s what matters. He threw away the capsule but then there was a bang. All of a sudden, Hirata Robin appeared from the capsule. Everyone looked at him in shock and then he danced.

The DDT Extreme Title was on the line in an Idol Lumberjack Death Match. Makoto Oishi brought along the idol group Sizukaze & Kizuna to stand by his side while the champion Masa Takanashi called up Emi Sakura and some of her Gatoh Move girls to do the same. Each of the lumberjacks were given a weapon they could use on the opponent whenever he wound up outside the ring but the items on offer were a little unbalanced. Oishi’s idols were all given plastic toy hammers, paper fans and wooden swords while Sakura brought along a barbed wire baseball bat! Oishi’s idols used their numbers advantage well, one of them trapped Takanashi in an Abdominal Stretch while all of the others whacked him with the hammers. Sakura did what she could to interfere including pulling the ref out of the ring when Oishi had Takanashi pinned for a three count. The interference finally backfired when a flying kick from Sakura aimed for Oishi was dodged and Takanashi was hit instead. Mizuno Haruko slapped Sakura out of the way and Oishi pinned Takanashi with the Tornado Clutch to become the new Extreme Champion!

Danshoku Dino revealed that he challenged Akitoshi Saito to a match in order to prove that Saito is gay. Saito denied it and called Dino an idiot. However he was interested in the Danshoku tights Dino was wearing, so much so that he stripped them off of Dino and put them on himself! Saito then Hip Thrusted Dino into the turnbuckles and gave him the Danshoku Driver to win the match. Dino approached Saito for a handshake and a kiss after the match but Saito immediately fled the ring.

Kota Ibushi had more important things to worry about today than an opening tag match in DDT. He was also scheduled to wrestle Tomohiro Ishii in a NEVER Openweight Title match over at Yokohama for New Japan. The New Japan match wasn’t taking place until the evening but Ibushi still needed time to travel, so he quickly and easily pinned Michael Nakazawa in the opener. Nakazawa’s team appealed for the match to restart and it was accepted by Ibushi’s team. Ibushi again won the match, this time pinning Guanchulo. After the match Ibushi and Kenny Omega said their goodbyes to Guanchulo and both raised his hands in the air.

2. Miyu Yamashita & KANNA defeated Yuka Sakazaki & Ririko Kendo when KANNA submitted Sakazaki with a Crab Hold (10:05).
3. Chikage Kiba defeated Nonoko with an Oklahoma Roll (7:57).

Chikage Kiba did what Miyu Yamashita was unable to do and that is give Nonoko her first defeat in Tokyo Joshi Pro. Nonoko did what she normally does and that’s using her larger frame to push around her smaller opponent. But today Kiba avoided the Boinmaker and rolled up Nonoko with an Oklahoma Roll for what could be considered an upset victory. Nonoko was in denial and said it was a 2.9 count. Yamashita stepped into the ring and mocked the “Ace” of Tokyo Joshi Pro for losing. Challenges were thrown out by everybody until Tetsuya Koda stepped in and announced the next show to be held on 22nd June.

1. 10th Anniversary Special Rules: Shu Shibutani Vs Kana
2. Classmate Tag Match: Takashi Sasaki & Meari Naito Vs Jun Kasai & Sachie Abe
3. Kyoko Kimura & Tomoka Nakagawa Vs Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto
4. Jaiko Ishikawa, Haruko Morohashi & SAGACO Vs Shigeko Deluxe, KEIKO & Somako Takao
5. Danshoku Dino & Daichi Kakimoto Vs Tanomusaku Toba & Masa Takanashi
6. Cherry Vs Aja Kong

Some old faces return for Cherry’s celebration. Also some gender swapped DDT and Union wrestlers.

Takashi Sasaki, Mearu Naito, Jun Kasai and Sachie Abe are all in the same match because they have similar ages.

Cherry isn’t the only woman celebrating her 10th anniversary in wrestling this year. Shu Shibutani and Kana both also debuted in 2004. So Cherry came up with the idea for those two to face each other with special rules in place. Cherry multiplied Shibutani’s 10 years with Kana’s 10 years to get 100. Using that as inspiration, she decided the loser of the match will be the first person to reach a 100 count in combined count outs, foul counts and down counts.

The Drift Vs Smile Squash match is now for the All Asia Tag Team Titles. This time DDT really does have the official certificate signed by PWF President Dory Funk Jr. The press conference announcing the match was interrupted by All Japan wrestler SUSHI. Amon Tsurumi did not know who he was and he got into an argument with SUSHI over who he is. SUSHI then challenged Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie to a title match but was told he was too late. But Tsurumi suggested he could challenge the winners. SUSHI did just that. Ishii & Irie suggested he could team with Raideen Hagane. SUSHI got annoyed by the suggestion and left.

Due to strong demands from Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi there is a change to their planned Six Man Tag Team match. Apparently there is a feud between Ultraman Robin and Konaka Pale One that must be settled once and for all. Robin and Konaka will team with distant members of their families for the match. Robin has Takagi Robin & Owashi Robin on his team while Konaka will bring along Endo Pale One & Takeshita Pale One.

0. Dark Match: Daisuke Kiso defeated DJ Nira with a Hurricanrana (5:39).
0. 4 Way Dark Match: HARASHIMA defeated Masa Takanashi, Soma Takao & Kazuki Hirata when HARASHIMA pinned Hirata with the Somato (8:42).
1. Daisuke Sasaki defeated Shun Miyatake (Trainee) with a Dropkick (10:07).
2. Antonio Honda & Sayaka Obihiro defeated Tetsuya Endo & Shunma Katsumata when Honda pinned Katsumata with the Diving Fist Drop (11:22).
3. Yasu Urano defeated Guanchulo with the Tombstone Piledriver (24:57).

Guanchulo’s year long stay in DDT has come to an end. A special farewell show was held today before he goes back to his home in Chile. The show was filmed for a future DVD release and video segments of Guanchulo talking about his time in Japan aired on the big screen inbetween the matches. The first video began with him saying “I think Japan is a good country.” Guanchulo talked about studying to become an English teacher in Chile until he took a leave of absence to wrestle in Japan. He became friends with Tetsuya Endo, Shunma Katsumata and Shun Miyatake during his stay. He also got to do a lot of cool things like meeting the famous mask maker Mister Cacao and wrestling Kikutaro one on on. He had fun every day and learnt a lot but today he had to say goodbye to everyone. He ended by saying his favourite wrestlers are Mick Foley and Kikutaro.

The next video featured other wrestlers talking about Guanchulo. Daisuke Sasaki & Antonio Honda said they first met him at Dick Togo’s retirement show in Bolivia. Afterwards Honda sent him a message in English saying they should wrestle together. Amon Tsurumi said Guanchulo was indispensable to DDT while he was there and he worked harder than anyone else during the annual Beer Garden shows. Sayaka Obihiro tearfully said Guanchulo’s favourite phrase was “chance” because he worked hard for every chance he got. Sanshiro Takagi told Guanchulo to do his best because he is a part of DDT. The video ended with everyone saying “Adios, amigo!”

The main event was Guanchulo versus Yasu Urano. Despite the good feelings and emotion on display throughout the show, Urano was in a serious mood for the match. At one point Urano yelled “Go home!” as he was kicking Guanchulo. The Chilean replied “I don’t want to go back!” After 25 minutes of the two going back and forth, Guanchulo hit Urano with a Lariat. He then paused and told the crowd “Please listen carefully! Everyone really, thank you. Thank you very much!” He then gave Urano the Lightning Spiral and tried to end the match with a Brainbuster. But Urano reversed the move and finished Guanchulo with the Tombstone Piledriver.

After the match Urano passed a microphone over to Danshoku Dino. He told Guanchulo that he gained a lot of trust in him and thanked him for being with them. Guanchulo introduced himself to the fans one last time and thanked them for coming to the show. Finally the other wrestlers went up to Guanchulo and said one by one “Adios, amigo!”

Since Shun Miyatake hasn’t officially debuted yet, his name in the results will be followed by (Trainee) from now on, just like on the DDT website.

6. 1,000 Rose + α Death Match: Shuji Ishikawa defeated Ken Ohka with the Splash Mountain (18:13).
7. Union MAX Title: Hikaru Sato defeated Isami Kodaka (c) with a Heel Hold (20:14).
*Isami Kodaka fails in V1. Hikaru Sato becomes the 3rd Union MAX Champion!

Hikaru Sato came to Union for a rest and wound up becoming its champion. Sato defeated Isami Kodaka in the main event to become the new Union MAX Champion. Kodaka did not use weapons in the match, preferring to fight Sato at his own game. The plan didn’t work and Sato tapped him out with a Heel Hold. Sato mocked Kodaka after the match and faked an apology for beating him in a fun match. Sato then insulted Union for their quality of wrestling and for being a low hurdle for him to pass. Sato said he will stay to defend his title but on the condition that he gets strong challengers who will not run away from him. Sato was then interrupted by chants of “USA!” as Hiroshi Fukuda entered the ring. Fukuda said the chants were like heavy thunder and he will not forgive Sato for embarrassing the company he debuted and grew up in. Sato ignored the challenge but Naomi Susan stepped in. She told Fukuda that he left Union Sekigun to join World Men’s Club but Fukuda replied the U in USA stands for Union. Susan asked if that means Fukuda will fight for Union and he said yes.

Shuji Ishikawa defeated Ken Ohka in what was a major battle in the Union Vs Ganbare☆Wrestling feud. Many roses were destroyed as the two fought in the ring but Ishikawa was the only one left standing at the end. Ishikawa praised Ohka’s growth after the match and suggested Ohka’s hatred of Union should now be out of his system. He’s like to see Ohka return to Union but when he appeared on a Ganpuro show last month he saw how hard Ohka worked to run the show. Ishikawa hopes this won’t be the last time both companies will fight each other and that there will be more competition between the two in the future.

Ladybeard was so happy when he & Saki Akai beat Danshoku Dino & Cherry. So happy that he believes it’s now time for him to become the Women’s Champion of Union. He challenged Cherry to a Fly To Everywhere Title match for next month. Cherry answered in English and accepted Ladybeard’s challenge. In a backstage interview Akai said she and Ladybeard form a cute tag team but she wasn’t happy having her faced shoved into Dino’s backside during the match.

The rules of the Aipoke World Title match was to make your opponent to say the words “Say Yes!” in order to win. Ryu Gouma and Super Sasadango Machine had a comedy match that involved the Idea Pocket reps dressed as Super Mario and Princess Peach. Gouma was about to win the match when another Idea Pocket Diva Tsubasa Amami appeared playing a guitar. Gouma and Sasadango sang along to the melody and Gouma was tricked into singing “Say Yes!” Sasadango won the title and also won a date for his troubles.

6. 3 Way Match: Danshoku Dino Vs Shigehiro Irie Vs Aja Kong ended in a No Contest (6:07).
7. HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Akito defeated KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masa Takanashi when Akito submitted Takanashi with the Triangle Scorpion (14:39).

Akito’s first match teaming with HARASHIMA and Yasu Urano was a big success with a victory over Shuten-dōji. The new unit name for the trio is Smile Squash. After the match HARASHIMA told KUDO he will absolutely win the KO-D Openweight Title from him on 25th May. Urano and Akito then challenged Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie to an All Asia Tag Team Titles match. Amon Tsurumi stepped in and said he will negotiate with All Japan to make the match but warned he would not get an immediate answer. Ishii accepted the challenge and said the title match will happen.

Before the Love Triangle 3 Way match began, Danshoku Dino was seen leaving Aja Kong’s locker room, possibly attacking and eliminating her from the match. Shigehiro Irie was distraught when he found out but whatever Dino did to Kong did not work because she made it to the ring eventually. Dino demanded Irie to choose between him or Kong. Irie then elbowed him in the face. The match fell apart when Dino’s Lip Lock took out not one but two referees. Kazuki Hirata made his Magnum TOKYO entrance and took up the role of replacement referee. He was then knocked out by a Double Lip Lock from both Dino and Kong. The match was called off and Irie was left alone in the ring. He began to weep as he realised he he might have lost something important.

The Golden Rendezvous is no more. Gota Ihashi took the pinfall loss in the 8-Man Tag match and Kenny Omega blamed him afterwards. Ihashi was on the top turnbuckle ready to do a high risk move when his own partner Daisuke Sasaki shook the top rope, causing Ihashi to lose balance and fall to the mat. Omega told the both of them “You are all bad!” Kota Ibushi agreed. Ihashi quit the stable and immediately decided to team with Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga. Nakazawa asked Ihashi what he wants to do and Ihashi said he wants to stand out. They then sang “Let It Go” from the movie Frozen. After that they challenged Ibushi, Omega & Sasaki (who are now called the Golden Storm Riders) to a 6-Man Tag match on 29th May.

The Infomercial Match was all about promoting Saki Akai’s gravure DVD “Beautiful Day” which comes out on 30th May. Images from the DVD was shown on the big screen as the match went on. However Michael Nakazawa was jealous of Saki and her DVD so he made his own amateur gravure DVD two days ago. Whenever he took control of the match clips of his movie appeared on the screen instead of Akai.

DDT announced a new Theme Music Project. They are working with Sizuk Entertainment to produce new entrance songs for the roster. Konosuke Takeshita is the first person to get a new song and it debuted on today’s show.

Ibushi and Omega will not be at the next Saitama show on 8th June because they will be wrestling in New Japan. DDT are considering bringing in special guests to make up for their absence.

On yesterday’s All Japan show, Keisuke Ishii and Shigehiro Irie successfully defended their All Asia Tag Team Titles against Kento Miyahara & Kotaro Suzuki. On today’s All Japan show Masao Inoue pinned Jun Akiyama during a Battle Royal to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Akiyama pinned Inoue after the match to win it back. Looks like he wants to be the champion after all. DDT has invited whoever the champion will be to defend the belt in Shinjuku on 29th June.
