6. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 2: HARASHIMA defeated Yukio Sakaguchi by TKO with a Modified Sleeper Hold (15:50).
7. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 2: Shigehiro Irie defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Beast Bomber (14:32).

A clash between former Team Drift friends headlined the King Of DDT 2nd Round. Shigehiro Irie went over Keisuke Ishii with two Beast Bombers and he survived the Kneel Kick along the way. Ishii wanted to shake Irie’s hand after the match but he got a hug instead.

HARASHIMA outwrestled Yukio Sakagachi to advance to the semi-finals. Sakaguchi cut off the Somato with a Jumping Middle Kick then applied a Sleeper Hold. HARASHIMA fought out of it and locked in a Cross Armbreaker. He changed it into a Modified Sleeper Hold and kept it tight until Sakaguchi lost consciousness. When he came to, Sakaguchi accepted the result and shook HARASHIMA’s hand.

Tetsuya In The Sky With Diamonds continues to give Tetsuya Endo victories, this time putting away KUDO. The big turn in momentum came when KUDO aimed to hit the Diving Double Knee Drop to Endo on the apron but Endo moved. KUDO kicked out of the Swan Dive Firebird Splash but Endo’s new finisher knocked him out of the tournament.

Masahiro Takanashi disguised himself in normal clothes and ambushed Akito from the crowd. When the plan didn’t beat Akito immediately, Takanashi panicked because he exhausted all of his tactics for the match! He thought on the fly and gave Akito a Low Blow followed by a roll up. However Diego was there to tell the ref that Takanashi was cheating. Akito regained positioning and trapped Takanashi in the Scorpion Lock to tap him out.

A draw was held at the end of the show to determine the semi-finals. Akito and Tetsuya Endo drew each other while HARASHIMA got Shigehiro Irie. The semi-finals and final takes place in Korakuen Hall on 25th June.

Konosuke Takeshita no longer has his backup plan. Mike Bailey pinned the KO-D Openweight Champion in a tag match to win his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract. Bailey recovered from a Dragon Suplex to catch Takeshita with a Moonsault Power Slam for the three count. Bailey asked Amon Tsurumi when the next KO-D Title match was scheduled. He was told 2nd July at Shinjuku Village Studio C 106. Bailey said he will defend the contract until that date so he can be the challenger.

Takeshita’s threats for the title didn’t end there. Naomi Yoshimura entered the ring to confront him again. He told the audience the same stories he told Takeshita a few days ago. His family fell apart, he was told to quit school by his teacher and now it turns out a girl named Mari-chan he had a crush on in school turned him down for someone else. Yoshimura blames Takeshita for breaking his family apart and stealing his first love so Yoshimura will cash in his Right To Challenge Contract when the time is right to make it memorable.

*Yuu fails in V5. Yuka Sakazaki becomes the 3rd TOKYO Princess Of Princess Champion!

Yuka Sakazaki is your new TOKYO Princess Of Princess Champion! The magic girl served Yuu her first pinfall loss in pro wrestling when she countered the Last Ride into a DDT. Sakazaki then hit two Magical Girl Splashes with the second including a twist to win the match. In her victory speech she said she wanted the title back when Miyu Yamashita was the first champion but she couldn’t beat her for it. She credited her training excursion for making her strong enough to beat Yuu. She’s finally arrived at the top and she is enjoying the view.

At last SIN Biishiki-gun’s foul play has blown up in their faces. When the referee was knocked out by a mop, Dr. Hayashi filled his hands with powder and threw it at Rika Tatsumi. However Tatsumi dodged it and Martha got blinded instead! Tatsumi put Martha in the Dragon Sleeper and Martha gave up when the referee got back into the match. The Dragon Bombers celebrated beating SIN Biishiki-gun once and for all while Saki-sama complained to Dr. Hayashi. That’s not all. Dr. Hayashi told Saki that she has been infected by a disease and must return to Paris immediately to get treatment. After they left, Tatsumi thanked Maho Kurone for fighting with her. Their team will not end here because they still have a story to tell. She asked Kurone what she would like for a celebration meal. Kurone said she wanted human. Tatsumi thinks there’s a place in Kabukicho where they can get it.

Shoko Nakajima has high goals set in place and beating Reika Saiki is just the start of it. She wants to reach the final of the Tokyo Princess Cup for the fourth time in a row and become the first person to win it twice. From there she will challenge for the TOKYO Princess Title.

Nonoko brought out photographs of her and Yuna Manase’s gravure work from 10 years ago. Nonoko said that she hasn’t changed much since then but Manase definitely has. She rubbed the photos against Manase’s face during the match but her insults backfired. Nonoko lost the match when she slipped on the photos and Manase hit the Kakato Drop for the pin.

Azusa Takigawa turned back the clock and returned to her singing days by reforming her idol duo Aime with her friend CHIKA. They performed their song “Summer Mode ☆” then Takigawa had her match with Maki Itoh. During the match Takigawa got on the microphone and took out a CD. She said it was a LinQ album and if Itoh really loves LinQ then she should come take it off her. It was a ploy by Takigawa to try and count out Itoh but she made it back to the ring at the 19 count. They fought each other outside the ring again and this time both of them were counted out. Itoh asked Tetsuya Koda for the match to restart but she was denied due to time constraints. Both Itoh and Takigawa kicked at Koda then told each other they won’t lose next time.

Itoh came back out during intermission and was expected to promote the Korakuen Hall show on 26th August. Instead she called out Weekly Playboy magazine for not asking her to appear in the Joshi Wrestling feature from the latest issue. She will wear any sweaty swimsuit, do any pose and eat any banana in a photoshoot to be in the magazine!
