*V7 for Keisuke Ishii.

Ganbare☆Wrestling is the next compaby to say they are now back to holding shows after a two and a half month absence. The roster all came down to the ring one by one at the start of the show. Only Ken Ohka and Yumehito Imanari got into the ring after Ohka told the others to respect social distancing. Together Ganpro promised to make today’s show a success in front of the crowd.

In the main event Keisuke Ishii successfully defended the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title for the 7th straight time. Ohka hit the Fire Spear twice but couldn’t get the pin. In return Ishii struck Ohka with a Kneelift to the face, landed a Double Knee Drop and locked in the Neck And Arm Lock to get the submission victory. Afterwards Ishii said if he makes it to over 10 defences in this title reign then he will break the record for most overall defences in the championship’s history. He wanted to defend the title today and originally thought Ohka didn’t deserve to be the challenger. However, Ohka’s passion for pro wrestling in the match they just had proved Ishii wrong. Ohka reminded Ishii that their Loser Leaves Town Match in Union Pro seven years ago is what led to the creation of Ganbare☆Wrestling! He encouraged Ishii to break the title defence record but warned he wants to be the one who stops his reign.

The semi-main event tag had an awkward ending where Shinichiro Tominaga grabbed onto the referee to prevent Mizuki Watase from doing a Tiger Suplex. Watase tried to do a Power Bomb instead but Tominaga Cradled him to steal the three count. He was happy to win it that way. Meanwhile Kouki Iwasaki and Shigehiro Irie had a staredown with each other after the match.

7. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao Vs Konosuke Takeshita, Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ueno ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).

DDT’s return to audiences offered a look at some of the top wrestlers in the company facing off for 30 minutes. The dying moments of the match saw Tetsuya Endo and Yuki Ueno scrapping for the victory. Konosuke Takeshita & Kazusada Higuchi both wiped out Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao with Planchas. Endo blocked Ueno’s BME with his knees but suffered the same result when Ueno blocked his Shooting Star Press the same way. Ueno then hit his new WR finisher but was too tired to make the pin. Time ran out and the trios match was ruled a draw.

Ueno warned Endo that he is stronger than he was on the DDT TV SHOW yesterday and he will be stronger again for the KO-D Tag Team Titles defence on 27th June. Then Higuchi stepped in to tell Endo he is also hunting him down for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles next week. Takeshita tried to lighten the mood by saying how hard it was to stay motivated wrestling without fans. Today was finally the day the fans came back. Sasaki said nobody wanted to hear from the B-Class wrestlers, they want to listen to the champ! Endo got to speak and he told his rivals he will give them a hard time. He gives Ueno and Higuchi credit but neither of them have a chance of taking the KO-D Openweight Title from him. He even told Higuchi that in the end, he is just a man beneath Yukio Sakaguchi. Endo had nothing to say to Takeshita.

Kazuki Hirata has spent his time away from the ring the last three months training like mad. He wanted to show off his new overwhelming strength by challenging three of his DISASTER BOX mates to a Handicap Match so he can take over the unit as leader! HARASHIMA pinned him in 12 seconds. Hirata backed down and admitted 3 Vs 1 is a cowardly scenario. He convinced HARASHIMA to team with him for a match against Toru Owashi & Naomi Yoshimura. Hirata left his Hirata GO! glasses backstage so he told HARASHIMA to go get a spare. He came back with a medical mask instead. Hirata eventually got his glasses but his hot run got cut off with a Lariat from Yoshimura followed by the Somato from HARASHIMA. Yoshimura then got the pin with a Guillotine Leg Drop.

Chris Brookes avoided some cheating from DAMNATION to beat Mad Paulie. During the match Sasaki ran into the ring wearing a Paulie mask in an attempt to attack Brookes with the signboard. Brookes ducked and Paulie got hit instead. Brookes rolled Paulie up with a School Boy to get away with the win.

Akito used a Grapevine Leglock to submit Makoto Oishi. He calls the move the Goliath Birdeater.

Danshoku Dieno & Antonio Honda used a Doomsday Gongitsune en route to win the opening match.
