4. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga (c) defeated Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura when Senga pinned Kodaka with the Cancun Tornado (15:09).
*V1 for Speed Of Sounds.
5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated SAGAT with a Rolling Back Clutch Hold (20:12).
*V1 for Ryota Nakatsu.

All is good between Sparky after their Union MAX Title match. Ryota Nakatsu said only people who are the same age and on the same team could fight each other like they do. It was a fight to the death but all that separated Nakatsu from SAGAT was a rolling pin. Nakatsu says it is his new move and he wants to call it the Nakaroll.

Speed Of Sounds approached Sparky after the main event. Banana Senga said he has a history with Nakatsu. Five years ago they were supposed to have a singles match but before it took place Nakatsu broke Senga’s jaw in a tag team bout. Senga says Nakatsu owes him a lot of money over it so he should get a MAX Title shot on 14th December. Nakatsu agreed but in return he wants an IRON FIST Tag Titles match with SAGAT against as his partner on 26th December. Senga didn’t want to commit because what if he breaks his jaw again in the MAX Title match? Tsutomu Oosugi encouraged him to win the MAX Title, then they can defend the IRON FIST Titles and then Senga will be a double champion!

5. Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Ueno & MAO defeated Tetsuya Endo, Kazusada Higuchi, Akito & Hideki Okatani when Ueno pinned Okatani with the BME (15:43).
6. Kimitsu Specialty Special 6-Man Tag Match: Hiroshi Yamato, HARASHIMA & Yuji Hino defeated Jun Akiyama, Yusuke Okada & Chris Brookes when Yamato pinned Okada with the Northern Lights Bomb (18:42).

Next year Hiroshi Yamato will be celebrating his 15th anniversary in wrestling. He wants to liven up Kimitsu City as well as Chiba as a whole with pro wrestling!

Konosuke Takeshita and Yuki Ueno were friendly teammates for their match but once it was over, Ueno gave Takeshita a German Suplex as a declaration of war! Ueno said he wants to surpass Takeshita with the momentum he has right now. If Takeshita accepts it then they will have more fun at the D-Ou Grand Prix final. Takeshita wants it known that he won’t cut any corners and is determined to beat his friend.

Once again Daisuke Sasaki used a Low Blow to set up his latest victory. Soma Takao said that’s the only way Sasaki can win his matches. Sasaki is upset at the D-Ou Final main eventing over his DDT Universal Title match on 5th December. In order to get more attention for his match with Takao he is demanding it to be a Loser Eats Dog Food Match!

Yuki Iino found a lewd way to apply a European Clutch. He does it in an inverted way that pushes the victim’s face into Iino’s rear end. Then he turns it over into the European Clutch for the pin. This version is called the Yoropean Clutch.

The second match didn’t end the way Kuishinbo Kamen wanted it to so he sat down on a chair at ringside refusing to leave. The DDT wrestlers and staff all picked him up and carried him on the chair away from ringside.

5. Ryota Nakatsu 7th Anniversary Match: Ryota Nakatsu, SAGAT & Akiyori Takizawa defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Fuminori Abe & Takato Nakano when Nakatsu pinned Nakano after the Happy Set (18:05).

The Happy Set is another version of the Big Mac, where a bunch more wrestlers stack up on each other before hitting a combined splash on the victim. In other words it’s named after the Happy Meal, except Japan calls it the Happy Set. It’s exactly the kind of treat everyone should get for Ryota Nakatsu’s celebration. Poor SAGAT had to carry all that weight though.

During the week Mizuki Watase unexpectedly requested a move from DDT to Ganbare☆Pro. DDT had met with Watase to discuss his plans and all sides agreed to go through with the move as of 25th November. Watase’s match against Yusuke Okada on 5th December will still go ahead and it is now his send-off match from DDT. Watase has wrestled in Ganpro several times and thinks the heat from the fans matches his own temperature. He is grateful to DDT for having him for 6 years including his debut match in Sumo Hall. He hopes to get stronger so the next time he steps in a DDT ring he will return the favour. This move also opens up Watase’s options because he wants to wrestle in other companies, in foreign countries and against various people. If he can get that kind of schedule then he will be able to wrestle the same amount of matches as he would if he stayed in DDT.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI PRO ’22”, 04/01/2022
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. International Princess Title: Hikari Noa (c) Vs X
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Mizuki

Even though Mizuki doesn’t like to fight against Miyu Yamashita she does have a good win-loss record against her. She has now been full-time with Tokyo Joshi Pro for a year now and wants to carry the promotion on her back. That means she needs to take the Princess Of Princess Title from Yamashita. The champion has been beaten by Mizuki twice this year. During the Tokyo Princess Cup as well as yesterday’s Princess Tag Titles match. She respects her so much that she wants the match to take place on the annual Ittenyon show. There is no better time for Yamashita to avenge those losses.

Hikari Noa will next defend the International Princess Title against the winner of a Battle Royal taking place on 4th December. The participants of the Battle Royal will all be chosen by a fan votes on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. If you are subscribed to WRESTLE UNIVERSE then you can vote here using your name and User ID. Only one vote is allowed per account. Any multiple votes found will invalidate all of your votes. Noa thinks if a wrestler who has not been able to move up a step gets voted into the Battle Royal and wins the title shot, it will be a chance for that person to gain confidence. She will watch the Battle Royal and form her strategy depending on who wins.

The eligible wrestlers you can vote for are Yuki Aino, Yuki Arai, Maki Itoh, Arisu Endo, Nao Kakuta, Yuki Kamifuku, Mahiro Kiryu, Marika Kobashi, Suzume, Rika Tatsumi, Nodoka Tenma, Shoko Nakajima, Haruna Neko, Hyper Misao, Pom Harajuku, Moka Miyamoto, Raku and Miu Watanabe. Those excluded from the pool are either the current champions or not in Japan right now.

7. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) defeated Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh when Mizuki pinned Yamashita with the Cutie Special (24:17).
*V1 for The Magical Sugar Rabbits.

The final Korakuen Hall show for the year in Tokyo Joshi Pro saw The Magical Sugar Rabbits retain the Princess Tag Team Titles against 121000000. The battle came down to Mizuki and Miyu Yamashita in the final minutes. Yamashita had Maki Itoh on hand to set up team moves but Yuka Sakazaki was there to get rid of Itoh until she was struck down with the Skull Kick. It was all up to Mizuki from there and she had Yamashita on the ropes after hitting a release Cutie Special. Another Cutie Special this time with the bridge held got Mizuki the win and MagiRabi’s first successful defence in their latest reign.

When the beaten challengers were leaving the ring, Mizuki called for Yamashita to come back. She said she was able to win today with Sakazaki’s help. She also brought up that it’s been a year since she she decided to join TJPW full time. She loves TJPW and wants to carry the company on her back for the sake of everyone who supports her. So although she hates fighting against Yamashita, she wants to challenge her for the Princess Of Princess Title! How could Yamashita refuse? She accepted the challenge and wants the match to happen on the 4th January Korakuen show! Mizuki was warned that the title is not easy to win because Yamashita will never let go of the belt. Sakazaki encouraged Mizuki to commit to the challenge because she is amazing. Later in the night Itoh made a request to Yamashita to put 121000000 on hold for the time being. The team is not splitting up, they are just on a break so Itoh can review her wrestling ability on her own. They will team again when she is ready.

Hikari Noa has broken out of the Up Up Girls hierarchy with her latest International Princess Title defence. She has now beaten both of her Up Up partners as champion and also now has the record for most IP Title defences! Miu Watanabe threw all her best moves including using the Laserbeam to block a Dropkick. Noa had to use the Blizzard Suplex off the top rope to cause the big shift in the match before pinning Watanabe with the regular Blizzard Suplex. One of Watanabe’s favorite idols once said hard work always pays off. The lesson Watanabe learned today is training hard is not the same as working hard. Noa called the match the toughest battle she ever had. The longer she holds onto the belt the more she doesn’t want to let it go. It puts more pressure on her but she isn’t afraid of anything anymore. Which is why she wants TJPW to have a championship that will allow her to have deathmatches! She’s annoyed that Hyper Misao gets to have a Hardcore Match in DDT next month instead of her but she at least appreciates the roster is becoming more open to doing that style.

The rookie Yuki Arai has made it her goal to wrestle against her seniors and do her best against them. That was proven today with her match against Rika Tatsumi. The veteran had the smart gameplan to work over Arai’s leg, forcing the idol to get desperate and risk fighting at a faster pace. But Arai put Tatsumi is danger with a deep Sleeper Hold she wouldn’t let go of until Tatsumi reached the ropes. Targeting the leg then paid off for Tatsumi when she dodged the Finally, took Arai down with a Dragon Screw and made her tap out to the Figure 4 Leg Lock. Tatsumi said by winning through determination she could feel both her own passion and also Arai’s spirit in the ring. She previously talked about being a spark that will cause a big bang and will leave it up to the fans to think if they saw it today. Arai feels a sense of accomplishment despite losing. It was a great experience and one she thinks might change her life. Tatsumi wants to fight her again when she is stronger. She thinks she will still beat her then, of course.

Last week Nodoka Tenma pinned Shoko Nakajima in the 10-Woman Tag match. She wasn’t able to repeat the result here. The closest she came was with a Lift-Up Back Flip but she couldn’t hit the Killswitch when she needed to. Nakajima recovered, hit the Double Arm DDT and won with the Diving Senton.

There was change in roles for Match #3. Yuki Kamifuku hates it whenever Hyper Misao makes new rules for her matches, so she came up with a new match of her own to give her a taste of her own medicine. The Happy Lucky Quiz had Kamifuku and Misao answering trivia questions. The first to get three correct would win. All of the questions were about Kamifuku and her family so the quiz turned out to be heavily rigged in her favour. When Misao started complaining, Kamifuku attacked her and a proper match broke out. Well I say proper but it ended up with both women spraying each other in the face with disinfectant. There was a scramble for pins and Kamifuku got the three count in the end with a Crucifix style cradle.

A rare result happened early in the show. Haruna Neko directly won a match! Maybe she’s finally figuring out how to put it all together. Yuki Aino, Nao Kakuta, Raku and Mahiro Kiryu did their things while Neko fought off Pom Harajuku. Neko rolled her way into hitting the Nekodebreaker to get the three count.

The Run-Up Bulldog Headlock is quickly becoming an effective finisher for Marika Kobashi. She was in trouble going against Suzume & Arisu Endo’s teamwork but Moka Miyamoto stood up to keep the match level. Suzume got rid of Miyamoto with a Facecrusher but Endo could not seal the deal on her own. That was when Kobashi pulled out the Bulldog for the victory.

*Tatsuhito Takaiwa becomes the 1st Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Champion!

History has been made as Ganbare☆Pro has crowned its own champion! Tatsuhito Takaiwa is the last man left standing to win Ganbare☆Climax 2021 after he beat Yumehito Imanari in the final. Imanari put up a brave fight but a barrage of Takaiwa’s signature moves could not be stopped. The Death Valley Bomb, the Takaiwa Driller and another Death Valley Bomb this time from the top rope made Takaiwa the tournament winner. His reward is the brand new Spirit Of Ganbare Championship! He said he did his best as a 49 year old. His goal as champion is to raise the belt to the same level as the IWGP and GHC championships. He’ll be happy to support Ganpro as champion as long as they bring him a variety of challengers.

Imanari is left to think over how he did in the tournament. His way of life is indie wrestling with the spirit of FMW in his heart but today he experienced the powerful “Lion’s Mark” that stands on top of the wrestling world. Just like how the “Lion’s Mark” have people who sweat in their dojo to reach to the top, Imanari will get to the same destination from a muddier path.

In the semi-finals Takaiwa braced himself for what Shuichiro Katsumura could do to him on the mat. Katsumura needed a gameplan and figured out taking his opponent to the ground would be his best bet. Takaiwa toughed it out and got to use the Takaiwa Driller, Lariat and Death Valley Bomb to make his way to the final. Katsumura knew he had the right idea. He just wishes he could have gotten a few more holds in, then he would have won. The other semi-final saw Imanari survive 12 Lariats in a row from Tetsuhiro Kuroda. He struck back with his own Lariat that knocked Kuroda off-balance. Seeing his opportunity, Imanari switched over to Elbow Strikes including a Rolling Elbow. Kuroda’s guard was taken down and he got pinned with the Lou Thesz Press. Today happens to also be Kuroda’s 50th birthday. He would have loved to have won the Spirit Of Ganbare Title to celebrate it.

The new team of Shota & Soma Takao came out wearing matching gear to show their commitment towards this new union. After they won their match they announced their team name is ROMANCE DAWN. They are starting a new adventure together to turn the pro wrestling world in over its head! This tag team wants to go cross-promotional so they can be in both Ganpro and DDT.

At the end of the show Mizuki Watase approached Ken Ohka and Shinjiro Otani thanking them for booking him today. He likes being at the shows and wrestling for the Ganpro fans. He then asked if he can transfer from DDT to Ganpro! He hasn’t told DDT management yet but he wants to fight in the Ganpro ring from now on. Ohka wants to accept Watase’s request but he has to negotiate with DDT first.
