Drinking is permitted at certain times in the Empty Can Death Match. When a wrestler finishes the drink he can use the empty can as a legal weapon. Fans are also encouraged to throw their empty cans into the ring when they are told to.

Yusuke Kubo is grateful for the opportunity to wrestle for the Union MAX Title. Not just for himself but for FUMA and the rest of the new generation in Union.

At the age of 28, Hiroshi Fukuda is beginning to consider retirement and what his lasting impact will be on the industry. He wants future generations of Japanese wrestlers to behave more like the gentlemen from Europe and the United States. To prove his point he put together a mixed tag team match to show how gentlemen should treat ladies.

*KUDO will cash in his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.

The main event is back on! KUDO reclaimed his Right To Challenge contract from Daisuke Sasaki and still intends to cash it in at Korakuen Hall at the end of the month.

Devin Sparks & Ric Ellis are a Californian tag team known as The Arrogant Bastards. They approached Sanshiro Takagi requesting to participate in the audition for new T2Hide members. Takagi’s advice to them on Twitter is if they can dance better than Kazuki Hirata, they will pass the audition.

Aja Kong is back. She is still the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion last time I checked.

2. Oretachi Nario No – Road To KO-D!?: Ken Ohka Vs Yukihiro Abe

Ken Ohka is now a marked man because of the Right To Challenge contract he currently possesses. Yukihiro Abe has challenged him to a match for the contract. Abe sees this as an opportunity to return to DDT, win the KO-D Title and face all of the new wrestlers that have appeared since he left. Ohka is determined not to lose. However there is danger lurking in the background. Mitomi Masayuki from Enjo-gun also wants a match with Ohka and is not happy to be ignored.

3. Union MAX Title: FUMA (c) Vs Yusuke Kubo

The Brahman Brothers are coming to challenge Shuji Ishikawa & Masato Shibata for the UWA Tag Team Titles. The Brahmans think the champions are freaks. In their minds Ishikawa acts like he’s Jesus and Shibata looks like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. The Brahmans are preparing for the match by eating a lot of hamburgers and coming up with tactics to attack Shibata’s feet because that is his weak point.

DDT “YAROZ VOL. 2”, 03/03/2015
Shin-kiba 1st RING
172 Fans

1. Ryuichi Sekine defeated Gota Ihashi with the Combine (7:00).
2. Ganbare☆Wrestling Offer Match: Ken Ohka defeated Tiger Bedscene with the Spear Of Flame (8:46).
3. Bra & Panty From Bubble Match: Suguru Miyatake Vs Takayuki Ueki ended in a No Contest (10:32).
4. Shuji Ishikawa & Kazusada Higuchi defeated Antonio Honda & Ryota Nakatsu when Ishikawa pinned Nakatsu with the Running Knee Lift (14:10).
5. YaroZ Army Vs Ikemen Army – Audience Lumberjack & Fans Bring The Weapons Death Match: Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Shigehiro Irie defeated Jiro Kuroshio, Madoka & Hiroshi Fukuda when Irie pinned Fukuda with the YaroZ Bomber (14:43).

B-boys Brother Mon & Brother Tommy returned with their YaroZ event in Shin-kiba to go against the BOYZ show happening at the same time in Shinjuku. While BOYZ is exclusively for women, the audience at the YaroZ show was exclusively men. The YaroZ Vs BOYZ dynamic was further pushed with a Bastards Vs Pretty Boys main event. The attendance number for the show proves the plan didn’t work. BOYZ outdrew them by over triple.

Sanshiro Takagi and Hiroshi Fukuda traded insults at the start of the show. Takagi got so angry he wanted the main event 6-Man Tag to be an Audience Lumberjack match and any item the fans gave them could be used as weapons. The fans got a chance to be even more involved when Takagi invited them to be involved in the Train Attack on Fukuda. Even the Samurai! TV cameraman got involved! Shigehiro Irie finished the job with the Beast Bomber and the crowd yelled “Go Home!” at the defeated pretty boy team.

The Bed-In Girls Mai Chusonji and Kaori Masukoji were involved with the Suguru Miyatake Vs Takayuki Ueki match. The women took sides and acted as managers while the wrestlers were not allowed to touch them. The women slowly took off their clothes during the match until they were down to their bra and panties. Hirata and Ueki spent more time fighting their urges than fighting each other as the women did their striptease. The temptation eventually proved too much and on seperate occassions both wrestlers tried to grope the girls. The lights dimmed and the girls stripped Miyatake of his wrestling tights, leaving him with a fan to cover his modesty. Ueki then pulled out a handgun and threatened to arrest Miyatake for his obscene display. The match was declared a no contest.

Gota Ihashi channelled the spirit of UWF for his match against Ryuichi Sekine. Fat lot of use that was for him. Sekine outstruck him and made him tap to the Combine.

Wrestlers from around the scene gathered together to celebrate the late Koichiro Kimura who passed away in October. The main event saw Sanshiro Takagi, NOSOWA Rongai & MIKAMI taking on Takashi Sasaki, GENTARO & Tomohiko Hashimoto. Takagi got the pinfall and took the microphone afterwards. He thanked everyone for putting the show together and said Kimura is now watching his friends from heaven. Kazunori Yoshida of Eagle Wrestling announced another tribute show to be held in Tatebayashi Citizen Gymnasium on March 13th next year. MIKAMI gathered everyone in the ring for a commemorative group photo with Kimura’s portrait to close out the show.

The semi-main event was centred around UWF as all four fighters entered to the UWF theme song.

The Battle Royal was originally scheduled to feature 10 wrestlers but it turned out there was a few extra entries in store. One of them was Poison Sawada JULIE coming out of retirement for one night only. Sawada used his Snake Magic to eliminate a couple of wrestlers but his powers wouldn’t work on Kazuhiko Ogasawara. Kintaro Kanemura went on a hot streak when he eliminated Gorgeous Matsuno with the Blast Yama Special and then won by pinning Rikiya Fudo with a Small Package.

Former DDT referee Megumi Grace Asano was the special official for some of the matches.

7. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Soma Takao

This is it for Soma Takao. Can he prove he is on the main event level or was he just lucky to get the title shot?

Despite being out of action to recover from a fracture right heel, Sanshiro Takagi is being forced to defend the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles along with Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata. Probably not the best timing to do this given the big story in wrestling this week. But it will most likely be a comedy match so he should be ok.

KUDO will debut a new theme song on this show. Farewell Shaolin Soccer soundtrack!

Kota Ibushi will compete in a shoot boxing exhibition match on 30th November. The event is QueSeraJapon Presents SHOOT BOXING S-cup in Sumo Hall. The plan came together when DDT president Sanshiro Takagi and Shoot Boxing Association chairman Takeshi Caeser met during a magazine interview. Caeser asked Takagi if there were any pro wrestlers who would be a good fit for shoot boxing. Takagi immediately thought of Ibushi due to his karate background. Ibushi thinks it is a fun idea. He gets to introduce shoot boxing to pro wrestling fans and pro wrestling to shoot boxing fans. His opponent is to be determined but Takeshi did consider trying to bring in Kazushi Sakuraba. The event takes place the same day DDT is in Korakuen Hall but Ibushi said he will be on both shows.

189 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Mitomi Masayuki defeated Tomoya Kawamura with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster (9:28).
2. Shuji Ishikawa, SAGAT & Ryu Gouma defeated Mio Shirai, Cherry & Ladybeard when Ishikawa pinned Cherry with the Splash Mountain (11:08).
3. Shibata defeated Seiya Morohashi with a Lariat (5:38).
4. Isami Kodaka & FUMA defeated Daichi Kazato & Madoka when Kodaka pinned Kazato with the Zan Isamu Leg (12:43).
5. Hiroshi Fukuda Send Off Battle Royal: MEN’S Teioh defeated SAGAT with the Perfect Plex (21:17).
Order of Elimination: Nazo Fukumen J, Mitomi Masayuki, Ladybeard, Mame Endo, Tomoya Kawamura & Daichi Kazato, Goro Jr., Ryuma Go, Shuji Ishikawa, Cherry, FUMA, A.YAZAWA, Mio Shirai, Hosomino Shyboy, Isami Kodaka and SAGAT.

Today’s Union show featured the final appearance of Hiroshi Fukuda before he transfers over to All Japan. Unfortunately Fukuda suffered a dislocated shoulder blade during the week and was unable to wrestle. He told the fans that the injury is healing slowly and he will not rush back to the ring before he is ready.

Fukuda hosted the main event Royal Rumble that was created to crown the new Mr. Perfect. The match saw the return of a Nazo Fukumen, the mysterious masked man gimmick Fukuda was involved with last year when he was banished from Union. This one was unmasked by SAGAT and revealed to be Jun Kasai! The rest of the field was filled with Union wrestlers and unexpected participants such as A.YAZAWA, Mame Endo and musician Hosomino Shyboy. MEN’S Teioh was the last man standing, lastly pinning SAGAT with the Perfect Plex. Fukuda presented Teioh with a crown, cloak and tambourine to officially recognise him as the 2nd generation Mr. Perfect!

Daichi Kazato refused to shake hands with Isami Kodaka after the semi-main event. Shibata recorded the match with his GoPro and said he will send it to Hikaru Sato so they can prepare for the UWA World Tag Team Title match on 3rd November.

The inter-gender trios match became more heated when Ryu Gouma blamed Union’s joshi division for impacting the company’s profits. Cherry argued that couldn’t be true. She also said she was the only person in the match who finished in the Dramatic General Election Top 20. Gouma said he was using this match to assess each woman’s worth and would restructure Union’s finances based on that information. He even suggested getting rid of the women’s division entirely. Mio Shirai wondered if Gouma was paranoid because he isn’t in a relationship. Gouma snapped and attacked Shirai to start the match. Shuji Ishikawa almost destroyed Cherry when he attempted to give her the Splash Mountain outside the ring but Shirai came to the rescue. Cherry later hit the Cherryton Bomb and Spring Night Love for a nearfall but Ishikawa hit back with the Fire Thunder Driver. He then hit the Splash Mountain inside the ring for the victory.

6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs KUDO & Masa Takanashi

The main event is protein shakes vs liquor. Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo plan to drink protein shakes as a toast for their victory on Sunday. Masa Takanashi is pretty insulted that they would drink protein shakes instead of alcohol.

Akito has decided his DDT Extreme Title match against Soma Takao will just be a normal singles match. Akito still remembers when he lost to Takao in a King of DDT qualifying match back in May. He is still bitter over the defeat and wants to prove he can beat Takao without any crazy stipulation aiding him. He’ll start defending the Extreme Title the way it is supposed to be defended once he beats Takao. Also since DDT is currently being passed over to a new generation of wrestlers, Akito wants to make the Extreme Title as prestigious as the KO-D Openweight Title.
