6. Fluorescent Light IPPON Grand Prix – Final: Akito defeated Isami Kodaka by IPPON (12:28).

Drunkers Kingdom ended with the Fluorescent Light IPPON Grand Prix. Every match in the tournament had a single lighttube attached to the ropes. The goal was to use your opponent to break the lighttube by either throwing him through it, smashing him with it or slamming him onto it. Isami Kodaka defeated Takumi Tsukamoto by using a Samson Clutch to roll him onto the lighttube and break it. Akito, the wrestler who came up with the rules for the tournament, beat Yuko Miyamoto. Miyamoto narrowly avoided being slammed onto the lighttube by forming a bridge over it but Akito then Double Stomped him onto the tube. Akito went on to win the Grand Prix by dropping Kodaka with the Hanamasa onto the lighttube. Akito was given a trophy with IPPON written on it. He celebrated by using the trophy to drink beer. Kodaka said he wants the Grand Prix to be an annual event.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi wore a Judo uniform to go along with Mike Bailey’s Taekwondo outfit.

Hyper Misao said her job of protecting Shin-Kiba has become more difficult because of all the Pokémon that have recently appeared in the area. She said her phone detected a high level Pikachu backstage but that was just to distract Yuka Sakazaki so Shoko Nakajima would have to wrestle against two people on her own. Sakazaki eventually came back to aid her partner when she couldn’t find the Pikachu.

5. Special Single Match: Isami Kodaka defeated Mike Bailey with the Isamuashi Zan (15:35).

Speedball has arrived in Japan but Isami Kodaka was there and ready for him. Mike Bailey won over the crowd with his abilities but in the end couldn’t beat Kodaka. Bailey hit the Cancun Tornado, the Fosbury Flop and the Moonsault Knee Press but Kodaka fired back outside the ring with a Diving Double Knee Drop from the bleachers. Bailey came back with an Asai DDT but missed the Shooting Star Double Knee Drop afterwards. Isami went for a pin after a Vertical Drop Brainbuster but Bailey kicked out at one! Kodaka hit the Zeyyari but Bailey hit back with a High Kick to show he still had life left. Kodaka regained control with a low angle German Suplex and knocked Bailey down for the count with the Isamuashi Zan. Kodaka said he had only previously seen Bailey in videos but he was amazing in his first match in Japan. Bailey thanked Kodaka for the match and then thanked the fans for the warm welcome. They then held a toast together to end the show.

All of Shuten-dōji were in attendance for the group’s match against wrestlers from BASARA. KUDO was in his group’s corner for the match. Afterwards Shuten-dōji promoted their show for Beer Garden next month and KUDO reminded everyone of his return at Sumo Hall.

In his quest to become the BASARA ace, Ryuichi Sekine refuses to accept Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi as the true winner of Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~. Hiroshi thinks Sekine is just jealous that the greatest “foreign” wrestler in the company won the tournament.

SAGAT demanded his match with Yusuke Kubo to be a Chain Match. The reason for this is important. SAGAT often used a chain on his enemies back when he was part of the King Legion stable in Union. The same stable FUMA was the leader of.

Don’t know how many lighttubes will be used for the Fluorescent Light IPPON Grand Prix tournament. Previous use of lighttubes in Tavern Wrestling have been limited to only one or two getting smashed but that was in a different venue. Shin-Kiba 1st RING might open up the possibility of using more.
