1. Isami Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto defeated Minoru Fujita & Antonio Honda when Tsukamoto pinned Honda with the High Angle Backslide Pin (8:21).
2. Hiroshi Reincarnation Rumble: Dildo Love (SAGAT) defeated nakatsunoH (Ryota Nakatsu) and Taz Urano (Yasu Urano) by Double Ring Out (11:51).
Order Of Elimination: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi (American Era) (Gouma Ryu) & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi (Asian Kung Fu Revolution era) (Yasu Urano), Judomaster, Hiroshi Fukuda (Mamono Era) (Ryota Nakatsu), Hiroshi Fukuda (Union Era) (SAGAT), William Ryugaru (Gouma Ryu) & Kung FUMAki (FUMA), nakatsunoH (Ryota Nakatsu) and Taz Urano (Yasu Urano).
3. Kazuki Hirata defeated Daichi Kazato with a Body Press (13:34).
4. MEN’S Teioh, Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga defeated Takato Nakano, Masato Kamino & Takeru Inoue when Teioh pinned Inoue with a Kaiser Knuckle (11:13).
5. Ayumu Honda defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi with the Flying Armbar (12:00).

The 15th Anniversary show for Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi didn’t have the perfect main event he was hoping for. His attempts to give Ayumu Honda the Perfect Plex were either countered or couldn’t get him the win. He tried it one time too many and Honda was able to counter it into a Flying Armbar to get the victory. After the match Hiroshi brought up that Honda used to compete in Judo and asked if he was happy just to beat him in pro wrestling today? Suddenly some judo outfits were brought down to the ring and Honda agreed to have a two minute sparring session with Hiroshi in front of everybody. Honda was dominant for most of it but Hiroshi made a comeback as time ran out on him. Hiroshi then thanked everyone for coming to the show and said he would like to team up with Honda to fight for a tag team championship together. He then sang a song to bring the event to a close.

Match #4 was held under No Tag Rules as is tradition for MEN’S Club multi-man tag matches. MEN’S Teioh and Speed Of Sounds all did the Miracle Ecstacy together before Teioh went on to get the win by himself.

Kazuki Hirata isn’t familiar with the kind of comedy wrestling that BASARA does and he got booed for not going along with Daichi Kazato’s usual spots. He begun to understand it when Kazato gave a demonstration but decided not to join in, drawing even more boos. He instead put on the Hirata GO! glasses to power himself up to 200%. Kazato successfully knocked the glasses off of Hirata but at the cost of knocking himself out in the process, allowing Hirata to gently pin him for the three count.

The Reincarnation Rumble began with wrestlers appearing under the previous personas and alter egos of Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi. But things took a weird shift and soon the entries turned into WWF/WWE gimmick parodies from the world of Ultimate Superstars Action!

Ultimate Superstars Action took over the second day of Tavern Wrestling’s Drunkers Kingdom series and Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi packed the show with “American” stars. The first one to appear was Ima Naryi who attacked Hiroshi and tried to give him the Twist Of Fate. Hiroshi countered the move into a Spinebuster. Hara Cena then came out and chased Hiroshi towards the Spanish Announce Table. Hiroshi tried to give Cena the Perfect Plex through the table but Cena blocked it. Cena then gave Hiroshi the Attitude Adjustment through the table instead!

sakabash2

The “Broken Heart Boy” Tsuyoso Michaels made a special appearance to officiate a match between Shimataniel Bryan and Sagawa Joe. Bryan led the “Yes!” chants but was had the disadvantage because Michaels kept counting fast or slow in favour for Joe. A bungled attack led to Joe accidentally knocking down Michaels. When he lifted Bryan up for the Muscle Buster, Michaels stood back up and gave Joe the Sweet Chin Music. Bryan then applied the Yes Lock for the tapout victory.

sakabash3

Hiroshi came back out for the second contest of the evening, the Arm Wrestling Challenge. He yelled at the booing fans to shut up and respect him. He challenged anyone to come out but knew they were all chickens. Sirens blared throughout ringside and out came Kazushi Steiner! Hiroshi suddenly came up with an excuse that he had gout and was unable to take pary. Steiner forced him to take part and then he beat Hiroshi in the Arm Wrestling Match. Suddenly TAKA Nanbei & RENAKI came out. TAKA said they were going to kick their ass. RENAKI said “Indeed”. The hit Hiroshi with a Double Dropkick but Steiner easily knocked them down with a Double Clothesline. TAKA tried to do the Michinoku Driver but couldn’t lift him. Steiner Suplexed him and sealed the deal with the Steiner Recliner.

sakabash4

It was now time for the main event, the Royal Rumble! Lilian Garushiro was in attendance to sing “America The Beautiful”. Hiroshi drew unlucky #1 and had to start the match with A Kit O. Entry #3 was “Stone Cold” Sekine Ryuichin out to raise some Hell. #4 was Vince ImcMahon who got in Stone Cold’s face. ImcMahon was given the Stunner and thrown out of the ring. Man Man Kai Kind was out next but was Suplexed and choked out by the entrant after him, Tazu Urano. Kyoto Edge was #7 and he Speared Tazu out of the ring, eliminating him. SUMO Rock entered and he eliminated both A Kit O and Edge.

sakabash5

Hanolek Hogaso came out and after he tore off his vest he had a staredown with Rock. Shane ImcMahon was out to crash the party but he was thrown out by both Rock and Hogaso. Stone Cold was then given the Rock Bottom and Leg Drop before getting eliminated. Entry #11 was Geifuku Dudley but he was out as quickly as he got in. Urinho came out next and he hit Man Man Kai Kind with the Gore. #13 was The Nishinari Taker and he cleared house by getting rid of Man Man Kai Kind, Urhino, Hogaso and Rock. KI Punk fended off Taker but was ambushed by Hiroshi. Punk gave Hiroshi the GTS for his troubles.

sakabash6

Mike Tajiley almost met the same fate but he escaped by spitting Poison Mist at Punk. Hara Cena entered the ring like a house on fire and went toe to toe with Tajiley until Hiroshi snuck in and knocked Tajiley out of the ring.

sakabash7

“The Rising Sun” then blasted out of the music system to mark the entrance of Chinsuke Nakamura! He hit everyone with the Kinshasa while yelling “Iyaao!” Shimataniel Bryan was #18 and once again led “Yes!” chants.

sakabash8

That was cut short when the lights went out and the room went dark. When the lights came back on there was Nerima Sting! He attacked everybody in the ring with his baseball bat except for Hiroshi. He shook Hiroshi’s hand and left the ring so Hiroshi could pick up the pieces.

sakabash9

Taker and Chinsuke were eliminated but Cena skinned the cat. Hiroshi was still able to eliminate Cena afterwards but forgot about Bryan! Hiroshi was in the middle of celebrating when Bryan threw him out of the ring to win the Royal Rumble!

sakabash10

The show ended with TAKA Nanbei & RENAKI coming back out waving the Japanese flag. TAKA said “We are KAIENTAI” in English but Hiroshi incorrectly translated it in Japansese to “We are Cayenne Thailand”.

SAGAT demanded his match with Yusuke Kubo to be a Chain Match. The reason for this is important. SAGAT often used a chain on his enemies back when he was part of the King Legion stable in Union. The same stable FUMA was the leader of.

Ganbare Books Korakuen, Isami Goes MC.33 Returns, Hiroshi Funds U.S.A

July 8, 2016

ganbare-korakuen

After an intense period of negotiations Ganbare☆Wrestling will soon hold its first show in Korakuen Hall this October! Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari yesterday streamed live on Nico Douga their meeting with the Korakuen manager to book their show. Ohka originally wanted to hold the show on a Sunday but was told every Sunday is booked out for the rest of the year. He was offered Noon on a Saturday but Ohka begged and pleaded with the manager to find him a Sunday spot. The manager discovered there was a cancellation for 2nd October so that day became available. Ohka handed over 500,000 yen to pay for the deposit but was told he was 50,000 yen short. Imanari had another 20,000 and they eventually convinced the reporter and photographer who accompanied them to cough up the remaining cash. That was enough to confirm the spot, noon on 2nd October!

BASARA “VAJRA 15 WU”, 20/07/2016
Saitama Wrestle Fighter Museum

1. FUMA Vs SAGAT
2. Takumi Tsukamoto Vs Yusuke Kubo
3. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Tsutomu Oosugi Vs Ryuichi Sekine & Ryota Nakatsu

Isami Kodaka made an unexpected decision to pull himself from this show. He has decided to take some time off after failing to win the Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament. Taking his place is a blast from the past, MC.33 (pronounced MC Sammy). This is a masked wrestler who appeared on the CRUSIER’S GAME brand during the mid-2000s. Kodaka describes him as a legend and is excited to see him in BASARA.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi is using his prize winnings from Heaven Summit to fund the return of U.S.A. The brand will takeover one of the Tavern Wrestling tripleshot shows at the beginning of August, specifically the show held on 2nd August.

2. Hardcore Match: Yusuke Kubo Vs SAGAT
3. Hardcore Match: FUMA & Takumi Tsukamoto

The feud between Tsukasaga Army and Kotetsu Gundan continues with several singles matches between the two sides. In Saitama it is just regular singles matches but afterwards in Shin-Kiba the matches will become Hardcore.

Ryuichi Sekine now has Hiroshi in his sights. Sekine wants to be the ace of BASARA so obviously the Heaven Summit winner and conqueror of Isami Kodaka is his next target.

4. U.S.A Sakavivor Series – Nerima World Order Vs U.S.A Superstars: Sumo Rock, “Stone Cold” Sekine Ryuichin & Man Man Kai Kind defeated “Big Sexy” Hiroshi Fukuda, Hanolek Hogaso & Nerima Sting when Rock pinned Fukuda with the People’s Elbow (14:43).
5. Isami Kodaka defeated Kouki Iwasaki with the Isamuashi Zan (14:29).

After spending a month banished to the dark matches in DDT, Kouki Iwasaki was given a shot at the main event with a non-title match against Isami Kodaka. But the gap of experience between the two was too large and Iwasaki struggled when Kodaka targeted his legs. Kodaka still praised him for being strong.

All hell broke loose in the Sakavivor Series match. Interference came in many forms. The first one was Booker T-ish (Suguru Miyatake) who did a spinaroonie. Then Tazz-ish (Yasu Urano) came out to choke out Man Man Kai Kind. After a referee bump out came the Dudley Boyz-ish. Bubba-ish (Shigehiro Irie) and D-Von-ish (Kazuki Hirata) gave Hiroshi Fukuda the Whassup! Headbutt while Spike-ish (???) watched on. Suddenly the Hardy Boyz-ish (SAGAT & ???) ran out to fight with the Dudleys-ish but they were given the 3D. Rob Van Dam-ish (Akito) attacked Spike-ish with a chair and cleared the ring until Hanolek Hogaso knocked him out with his belt. The Nerima World Order gave “Stone Cold” Sekine Ryuichin a beatdown but he kicked out of their finishers. The tables turned when the nWo accidentaly Clotheslined each other. That allowed the U.S.A team to gang up on Fukuda and pin him after the People’s Elbow from Sumo Rock. The nWo attacked Fukuda after the match and kicked him out of their group. The Undertaker-ish (Konosuke Takeshita) arrived on a scooter and it looked like Fukuda would be saved! Instead Taker-ish Choke Slammed and Power Bombed the U.S.A team and left the nWo alone.

Yu is 156cm high, was born on 19th July and is from Chiba. She became a fan of DDT when she was in elementary school and took up judo because she was too young to train for pro wrestling. She said it is a dream come true to enter the ring.

Marika Kobashi is 154cm high, was born on 17th May 2001 and is from Kanagawa. She is a fan of Big Japan and wanted to become a wrestler after seeing one of their local events. She is the first signed wrestler in the entire DDT company to be born in the 21st century.

Nodoka Onesan is 145cm high, was born on 7th June and is from Okayama. She became a wrestling fan by reading the manga 1·2 no Sanshirou. Her gimmick will be based on the “Older Sister” trope from Japanese children’s TV shows (Waracchao! on NHK is an example). She hopes this character will attract children to Tokyo Joshi and turn them into fans.

5. Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo defeated Abdullah Kobayashi & Takayuki Ueki when Endo pinned Ueki with the Torture Rack Bomb (13:40).

The foreign sports entertainment invasion cannot be stopped, in fact they had someone on the inside all along. Isami Kodaka was taken out of action at the beginning of the show when he was ambushed by Mankind-ish and left unconscious by the Mandible Claw. Luckily KI Punk was in the area and stepped in to replace Kodaka. Nerima Sting & “Hollywood” Hanolek Hogaso appeared wearing Nerima World Order T-shirts and brawled with their opponents. Punk almost submitted Sting with the Devil Lock but Hogaso pulled Daisuke Kiso out of the ring and knocked him out. All Hell broke loose when Mankind-ish returned. But Tazz-ish (Kouki Iwasaki) came out and stopped him with the Tazzmission. Kodaka was put through a world of hurt when he was given the Scorpion Death Drop, Leg Drop and Scorpion Deathlock in quick succession. He tapped out but the referee was still knocked out. Punk hit Sting with the GTS and went for the pin but Fukuda suddenly turned on him and attacked him with a baseball bat! Kiso woke up and called for a no contest. Fukuda joined the nWo but their celebration was interrupted by The Rock-ish (Kazusada Higuchi) and Stone Cold Steve Austin-ish (Ryuichi Sekine). They chased away the nWo and shared a beer with Punk. Austin-ish then gave Punk a Stunner.

10. KO-D Openweight Title: Yukio Sakaguchi (c) Vs Isami Kodaka

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title went through 10 title changes during yesterday’s “OSAKA OCTOPUS 2015” press conference. Cherry took offence to Saki Akai talking about her hopes of winning the title in Osaka and tried to steal her spotlight. Akai responded by trying to pin Cherry to win the title. Cherry kicked out and pushed Akai away but was then pinned by Makoto Oishi. That led to a Headscissors chain that saw the title go through Toru Owashi, Kazuki Hirata, Masa Takanashi, Suguru Miyatake, Shunma Katsumata, Cherry and last but not least Gota Ihashi. Ihashi tried to woo Akai by taking off his wrestling tights but Akai knocked him out with a Head Kick. The tights fell on top of Ihashi and after a three count was declared the champion! Cherry was the only person brave enough to touch the tights and pin them to win back the title. She then ran away with everyone chasing after her.

Antonio Honda has confirmed his DDT Extreme Title match with Kendo Kashin will be fought under UWF Rules with pinfalls also allowed. However both Honda and Kashin have admitted at the time not knowing what the UWF Rules were.

6. U.S.A PRESENTS SAKABA HALLOWEEN HAVOC 2015 MAIN EVENT: Nerima Sting defeated “Mr. Perfect” Hiroshi Fukuda with the Scorpion Death Drop (14:32). (Special Referee: Tsuyoso Michaels)

There were a lot of run ins during the main event. “Vince McMahon”, “Shane McMahon”, “Mankind”, “Booker T” (Suguru Miyatake thankfully not going blackface), “Scott Hall” (Konosuke Takeshita) and “The Rock” (Kazusada Higuchi) all made their presence felt throughout the match, hitting their finishers on the wrestlers and the referee. Isami Kodaka ran down to save Hiroshi Fukuda from a further beating after the match. “Hulk Hogan” (Antonio Honda) then appeared and yelled “You!” at Kodaka. Suddenly Nerima Sting attacked Kodaka with his baseball bat. Hogan and Sting did some posing for the crowd and then left. Fukuda said to Kodaka that Ultimate Superstars Action has finally come to Tavern Wrestling. He warned they will grow more dangerous until Tavern Wrestling is buried in darkness. He knows Hogan and Sting will return on the 25th November so they must join forces to stop them!

Kodaka challenged Jun Kasai to a singles match sometime down the line.

Aja Kong came to the show on short notice for an Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title defence. She faced off against four opponents and defeated them with little trouble. Suguru Miyatake asked Kong after the match if they could begin a relationship together. Kong rejected him and called him LiLiCo’s hand me down. Miyatake attacked Kong and Cherry suddenly entered the ring to help Kong fight him off. Cherry hugged Kong but it was a trap! Cherry used a Judo throw to slam Kong onto the canvas and she then pinned her to win the Iron Man Title! Cherry said she was taking the belt with her all the way to Osaka.
