1. Ryota Nakatsu, SAGAT & Akiyori Takizawa defeated Takato Nakano, Masato Kamino & Yasu Urano when SAGAT pinned Nakano after the Big Mac (11:16).
2. BASARA Official Rules Double Jacket Bout: Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga defeated Fuminori Abe & Gouma when Oosugi submitted Gouma with a Reverse Cross Armbreaker (R4 0:24).
3. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura (c) defeated FUMA & Yusuke Kubo when Shimomura pinned Kubo with the Orange Sunset (19:13).
*V2 for Sento Minzoku.
4. Union MAX Title: Takumi Tsukamoto (c) defeated Daichi Kazato with a Crab Hold (14:30).
*V4 for Takumi Tsukamoto.
5. Bonus Track – Final Trans-Am: The ★ Trans-Am defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi with the Perfect 5 (8:09).

Today BASARA bid farewell to The ★ Trans-Am (aka Trans-Am ★ Ji, aka Trans-Am ★ Ryuji, aka Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi, aka Ryuichi Kawakami). He is going back to America but his future lies elsewhere, some place GLEAT so I hear. For his final BASARA match, his opponent Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi appeared in his classic pre-yoga costume wearing a blonde wig to match the hairstyle he had at that time. The wig was accidentally pulled off during the match and Hiroshi reacted to it by reverting to his current yoga persona. The BASARA roster took part in the farewell ceremony for Ryuji after the match.

Takumi Tsukamoto is handling the double champion role well. He now has 4 Union MAX Title defences to his name, the latest coming from a submission win over Daichi Kazato. He said winning this match gave him a lot of confidence. Nobody came out to challenge him afterwards which he thinks is a good thing. It shows he has become so strong that everyone might now be scared of him!

Isami Kodaka wants to give Daiki Shimomura all of the credit for their successful IRON FIST Tag Titles defence against IRON PRIEST. According to Kodaka, he couldn’t get his engine running until late the very end of the match. But he isn’t going to dwell on that. Instead, Kodaka wants to defend the BJW Jr. Heavyweight Title on a BASARA show next month. He needs Big Japan’s permission first but hopes they will let him do a title match on 10th April.

What are the full rules for the Jacket Match? According to Gouma, nobody knows! It was made even more confusing when applied to a tag team match. Speed Of Sounds were able to beat Gouma & Fuminori Abe fair and square but the two sides kept fighting after it ended.

2. Spring HARU Vs Manase Wasshoi: Yuna Manase & Ayumi Hayashi defeated Moeka Haruhi & HARUKAZE when Manase pinned HARUKAZE with the Suzuki Dynamic (7:58).
3. Shota’s Independent Journey Vol. 2: Onryo defeated Shota with the Onryo Clutch (9:50).
4. STOP THE Hidaka! Special Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii & Kouki Iwasaki defeated Ikuto Hidaka & Yasu Urano when Iwasaki pinned Urano with the Vertical Drop Reverse DDT (17:26).
5. Special 6-Man Tag Just Before Korakuen: Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari & Shunma Katsumata defeated Takashi Sasaki, Shigehiro Irie & SAGAT when Ohka pinned SAGAT with the Flame Spear (17:46).

It’s just over two weeks away until Ganbare☆Pro returns to Korakuen Hall. Today’s go home show saw Ken Ohka run wild with help from Yumehito Imanari & Shunma Katsumata. Ohka went toe to toe with Takashi Sasaki then his team worked over on SAGAT. He took out Sasaki with the Flame Spear then hit the same move on SAGAT until he got the win. Ohka told Sasaki that this isn’t over because he wasn’t able to directly beat him today. His desire to beat Sasaki in a Fluorescent Lighttube Death Match has grown stronger! Sasaki said Ohka has a history of running away while he is hungry to go full force in the Lighttube Death Match. It’s not enough for Ohka to just be at Korakuen Hall, he must get the courage to meet Sasaki face to face!

Imanari said his target for the match was Shigehiro Irie because he hasn’t forgotten the match they had in Korakuen last October. Imanari wants to win Irie’s respect so he asked him to team with Pocchari World Order and challenge for the GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles! Irie admitted he likes pocchari women so he’s happy to team with “The Outsider” Yumehito Imanari and “Big Sexy” Yuna Manase! This now makes him “Hollywood” Shigehiro Irie of the pWo!

At last something from Ganpro has slowed down Ikuto Hidaka’s momentum. Kouki Iwasaki pulled off the hot tag from Keisuke Ishii and rid of Hidaka with the Capture Suplex. He then pinned Yasu Urano with the Vertical Drop Reverse DDT to win the match. He wasn’t convinced Hidaka was fighting at full effort though. The two agreed to have a singles match against each other at the 7th April Korakuen show. Iwasaki called Hidaka the finest prey to hunt.

If you’ve seen Onryo before then you will be familiar with the bag of tricks he used against Shota. The “ectoplasm “powder shaking off his body got in Shota’s way. Onryo also grabbed the referee’s hand to prevent a three count pin after Shota hit the Frog Splash. Shota later grabbed Onryo’s fist, thinking he was holding powder to throw at him. Onryo opened his hands to show nothing was in it, then shook the ectoplasm out of his hair again to blind Shota and pin him with the Onryo Clutch.

A mixed tag team tournament will be held on the 1st and 8th of May.

5. Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe defeated Miyu Yamashita & Mirai Maiumi when Tatsumi submitted Maiumi with the Strangle Dragon Sleeper (13:57).

With her next Princess Of Princess Title challenger picked, Rika Tatsumi went to work preparing for the title defence in April. Today’s warmup match involved Tatsumi facing Maki Itoh’s tag partner, Miyu Yamashita. She was taken out with the Daydream Eternity and the match came down to Tatsumi against Mirai Maiumi. Hip Attacks were used to set up the Dragon Sleeper for a Daydream win. After the match, Tatsumi said Itoh has been all over the news lately from wrestling in America to having her Twitter hacked. While that is going on, Tatsumi is showing everyone what Tokyo Joshi Pro is all about. She and Miu Watanabe promised to continue working hard together.

The 3 Way Match gave Yuka Sakazaki and Shoko Nakajima a chance to wrestle each other again for the first time in a while. Suzume couldn’t get a look in and felt like a third wheel for the opening exchanges. When she finally did get involved, Sakazaki & Nakajima took the opportunity to bring back some of their Miraclians spots against her.

3. Danshoku Dieno, Shunma Katsumata & MAO defeated Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Saki Akai when Katsumata pinned Honda with the Totonoe Splash (12:01).
4. DISASTER BOX Vs DAMNATION!: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao defeated HARASHIMA, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata when Endo pinned Hirata with a Small Package (13:27).
5. The 37KAMIINA Vs DAMNATION!: Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ueno defeated Yuji Hino & Mad Paulie when Ueno pinned Paulie with the BME (19:03).
6. Maikon no Kohara Presents I Love It! Osaka Specialty Special 6-Man Tag Match: Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & Yusuke Okada defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Toui Kojima when Okada pinned Kojima with the Sudden Death (16:21).

After the main event Jun Akiyama had one more face off with Kazusada Higuchi before their KO-D Openweight Title match. There was then other more important issues to attend to. Like Yusuke Okada wanting everyone to know his mother was in the audience today! Akiyama joked there are a lot of famous moms in Osaka then asked if Keiko Takeshita was here today. She wasn’t so Akiyama turned his attention back to Okada’s mom and celebrated his team’s victory. Okada was given the chance to close out the show but he gave Akiyama the closing speech instead. However he did promise the next time he wrestles in Osaka he will have a championship of some kind with him.

The 37KAMIINA are getting some wins now after spluttering start. Yuki Ueno said he met up with Konosuke Takeshita at the Sakuya Konohana Kan and spent all day together before the show. They promise The 37KAMIINA will do their best to make pro wrestling more hot and exciting.

Tetsuya Endo snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in Match #4. DISASTER BOX had Endo beaten with their teamwork but DAMNATION were there to break the pin. Kazuki Hirata went back and forth with Endo and when he went for the kill, Endo rolled him up and nabbed the three count.

You know who also likes saunas? Danshoku Dieno. He wrestled his match wearing a bath towel around his waist to distract his opponents. Shunma Katsumata made him get into the Hell Gate position and used the towel to send Dieno’s “heat waves” into their opponents. Antonio Honda used Gongitsune to plug up Dieno’s backside and charge his attack. Katsumata made Gongitsune backfire into Honda’s eyes. He then climbed on top of Dieno and hit the Totonoe Splash on Honda for the win.

The rude behavior did not end there. Maku Donaruto told Keigo Nakamura that their match was not a joke and he was going to show off his amateur wrestling ability. Donaruto proceeded to strip off his jumpsuit and wrestled the match in a mankini.

5. Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Antonio Honda & Yuki Iino when Endo pinned Honda with the Shooting Star Press (13:20).
6. Nagoya Specialty Doerya 6-Man Tag Match: Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & HARASHIMA defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Chris Brookes & Keigo Nakamura when HARASHIMA pinned Nakamura with the Somato (13:56).

Keigo Nakamura made his entrance wearing a handmade Jun Akiyama costume created out of paper. Needless to say, the real Akiyama got annoyed when he saw it and he tore it off Nakamura when they wrestled each other. HARASHIMA saw the bright side and gave kudos to Nakamura after the match. Akiyama though said he will never forgive him. He blamed Makoto Oishi for this and Oishi tried to pass the blame over to Kazusada Higuchi. Backstage Chris Brookes said that Higuchi is like a different person compared to the last time they teamed together when Higuchi was getting ready for a KO-D Openweight Title match. He bets Akiyama will probably be afraid of Higuchi. A defeated Nakamura promised he will become bigger than Akiyama some day.

There were some problems between Antonio Honda & Yuki Iino because Honda thought Iino was wasting his time doing the Haka before his moves. He tried to guide him into doing a Bionic Elbow but Iino went back to doing the Haka. He then argued with Honda and left the ring so Honda had to fight DAMNATION on his own. Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo almost bullied Honda into submission when Iino returned wearing a Honda-like costume to rescue his tag partner! Honda & Iino successfully did the Bionic Elbow together and then tried the Haka together until Honda tripped and hurt his knee. It was to set up Gongitsune but DAMNATION recovered and got the win in the end.

Match #2 ended before Nagoya’s own Akito even had a chance to do anything. Hisaya Imabayashi demanded a complete restart, including the entrances so Akito could get the hometown hero treatment. Yukio Naya thought that was the perfect time to roll up Saki Akai and try to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Akai kicked out which counts as a successful defence outside of matches. Imabayashi got mad at this and told Naya and Kazuki Hirata to switch teams for the restart. Akito got to wrestle in the match this time and Hirata promised everyone Akito was going to do a Phoenix Splash! Akito climbed the turnbuckles but Hirata didn’t have the strength to Body Slam Naya. Instead Naya’s dead weight collapsed on top of Hirata and Hirata got pinned for the three count. A confused Akito remained standing on the top turnbuckle while everyone else left the ring. He then took the time to thank the fans for coming before quickly exiting the ring.

7. KO-D Openweight Title: Jun Akiyama (c) Vs Kazusada Higuchi

So far in his career, Kazusada Higuchi is 0-4 in KO-D Openweight Title matches. His chase for the title is unique compared to others because he had his very first title shot only 6 months after his debut. He understands the weight that comes with holding the title is and he is also one of the few DDT wrestlers speaking up against Jun Akiyama’s growing influence in the promotion. Higuchi decided to go back to his starting point, which is sumo. That is why he wrestled barefoot in his most recent match against Akiyama that ended in a double countout. Akiyama thinks this is the biggest flaw with DDT’s roster. These wrestlers don’t look outside their own company for ideas whereas he has done a lot of things in different promotions. That is how he was able to walk into DDT and become their coach and then their champion. He gave Higuchi an ultimatum over DDT’s training sessions. If Akiyama wins then Higuchi will have to say yes to every order that is given to him. But if Higuchi wins then Akiyama will not say a word to him from now on.

Team Thoroughbred are confident in their chances of winning the KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles. According to Sanshiro Takagi, the opposing team captain Shinya Aoki is scared of facing powerful opponents. When Team Thoroughbred become champions, Takagi wants to expand the group to include second generation stars from other sports and forms of entertainment. His ideal amount is to mentor seven 2nd generation celebrities so they can dominate pro wrestling as the Seven Lights Of Parentage!

Chris Brookes is currently in discussions with DDT over his first DDT Extreme Title defence. He wants to remove all restrictions and have title defences outside of the usual Korakuen Hall shows. The perfect choice for his first defence is at his third self-produced DDT show that is scheduled to take place in April. His preferred opponent? Mecha Mummy!
