BASARA’s End Of Year Lineups, GanPro Mixed Tag Choices, Full TJPW Ittenyon Card

December 15, 2025

BASARA “BASARA 295 ~TAKAGARI 31~”, 27/12/2025
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. ~Jun-chan’s Grilled Meat Voucher Contest~ East Vs West Knockout Match!: FUMA, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, SAGAT, Lil’ Kraken & Takeru Inoue Vs Ryuichi Sekine, Takato Nakano, Masato Kamino, Minoru Fujita & Banana Senga
2. 3 Way Match: Daichi Kazato Vs Ryota Nakatsu Vs Tsutomu Oosugi
3. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Kengo Mashimo & Ayumu Honda (c) Vs Takumi Tsukamoto & Daiki Shimomura

A grilled meat restaurant in Tokyo is sponsoring a competition during the show where the winning team will receive meal vouchers. I’m having trouble understanding what the rules are because the translation I am getting is it will consist of two matches followed by a knockout round. I can’t tell if that is correct or not. Whatever way the format turns out, it is possible that it can end before everyone can enter the match somehow.

GANBARE☆PRO “BEFORE SUNRISE 2025”, 27/12/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Mizuki Watase, Shigehiro Irie, Munetatsu Nakamura & Sentaro Motoshima Vs Jun Kasai, Takuya Wada, Tyson Maeguchi & Shota Kawakami
2. Mixed 3-Way Tag Match: Ken Ohka & Mahiro Kiryu Vs Yuna Manase & Takashi Sasaki Vs Moeka Haruhi & Gabai Ji-chan Vs HARUKAZE & Hartley Jackson
3. Shuichiro Katsumura Vs Akira Shoji
4. YuuRI 5th Anniversary Match: YuuRI Vs Sareee
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto (c) Vs Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) Vs Keisuke Ishii

The Mixed Tag Match is now a 4 Way thanks to an extra team joining in. The other wrestlers involved all got to pick their partners. Ken Ohka chose Mahiro Kiryu after she earned his respect over playing Mahjong with the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title on the line. Yuna Manase convinced Takashi Sasaki from FREEDOMS to team with her and the two think they can go all the way to becoming champions together. Moeka Haruhi picked Gabai Ji-chan fully knowing that anyone who lays a finger on her elderly partner will get booed out of the building. The new entry is HARUKAZE who heard that Hartley Jackson wanted to take part in the match with her as his partner which means Lethal Weapon are back together for one night only.

BASARA “BASARA 296 ~UTAGE~”, 28/12/2025

9. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Suzume

The full lineup for Ittenyon is here. The Magical Sugar Rabbits are back together and teaming up with Yuki Arai for some extra sweetness. They will face what the Love Triangle would look like if Yuki Aino went all Incredible Hulk on everyone. Instead it’s Max The Impaler teaming with Raku & Pom Harajuku. Normally Raku sides with Aja Kong in the monster friendship chart but Kong will be wrestling earlier on the show in a 3 Way Match with Rika Tatsumi and Mahiro Kiryu. At the time of writing, Kiryu is back to being the current Iron Man Champion so expect that belt to come into play. The last time Kong won that title will be six years ago to the day when the match takes place.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”, 29/03/2026

Still speaking of Kong, she will be at Sumo Hall in March as well.

??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Ilusion defeated Hinata Kasai with the Swanton Bomb (8:57).
2. 3 Way Match: To-y defeated Danshoku Dieno and Kazuki Hirata when To-y pinned Hirata with a Cradle (8:24).
3. Daisuke Sasaki, MJ Paul & Demus defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Chris Brookes & Daichi Sato when Paul pinned Sato with the Reverse Splash (12:45).
4. Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya defeated Jun Akiyama & Yuya Koroku when Iino pinned Koroku with the Spear (11:30).
5. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Akito defeated Takeshi Masada & Yuki Ishida when Akito submitted Ishida with the Figure 4 Leg Lock (17:01).
6. Special Tag Match: MAO & KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) defeated HARASHIMA & Kazuma Sumi when MAO pinned Sumi with a Running Palm Strike (18:29).

It’s a good thing this show happened in MAO’s neck of the woods because he might be the only DDT wrestler to get away with the property damage that was done in the main event. As the ambassador for Osaki City in Miyagi, he did a Springboard Moonsault to the outside and clipped his foot off of the sprinkler system hanging above the ring, causing it to open up a leak onto the floor below. KANON did his best to cup his hands together and collect the dripping water while MAO went on to pin Kazuma Sumi to give Strange Love Connection the victory. MAO wanted everyone to forget about the accident he just caused he told the fans he wants DDT to run even bigger venues in the area like the Sendai Sun Plaza while they go on their journey towards the Tokyo Dome. Also during the main event HARASHIMA paid tribute to the now retired John Cena by doing the “You Can’t See Me” pose to MAO.

Perhaps he is feeling the pressure or maybe he was recently humbled but Takeshi Masada kept a calm posture while fighting Yuki Ueno. He didn’t fall for any of Ueno’s attempts to provoke him. Instead it was Yuki Ishida who became fired up by Ueno’s actions during the match. Ishida ended up tapping out to Akito and afterwards complained to Ishida about him being so passive today. He admits it is just sour grapes though and he reminded Masada he has the confidence needed to fight Ueno for the KO-D Openweight Title. Out of everyone in D GENERATIONS, Ishida believes Masada is the closest to winning the belt right now so he should be fighting with his heart from here on out. Masada understood and then called out Ueno, telling him he will go back to being himself for their title match. Ueno said he is looking forward to it but told Masada he needs to bring it on.

Danshoku Dieno noticed how upset To-y has been ever since Yasu Urano stole the DDT Extreme Title belt away from him. To cheer him up, Dieno went over to the ring announced Task Ono and stripped his belt from his trousers. Dieno then held up the belt and said the 3 Way Match was now for the brand new (yet unofficial) Open The Dream Messe Championship! Dieno then attacked the other wrestlers with the belt, encouraging To-y to take Yukinori Matsui’s belt to use as a weapon while Kazuki Hirata went into the audience asking for their belts to borrow. To-y ended up winning the match and becoming the inaugural “champion”. He declared when he beats Urano to get the Extreme Title belt back he will unify it with all of the belts that were collected today in order to become a Six Crown Champion!

Hideki Okatani missed the show because of illness. MJ Paul replaced him in Match #3 and even scored the winning fall for his team.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE IN BANGKOK”, 13/12/2025
The Circus Studio, G Village, Bangkok, Thailand
327 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House

1. Yuki Kamifuku defeated Uta Takami with the Famouser (7:57).
2. Suzume & Arisu Endo defeated Yuki Arai & Shino Suzuki when Suzume pinned Suzuki with the Ring A Bell (11:08).
3. MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) defeated Alexis Lee with the Diving Senton (9:05).
*V6 for Shoko Nakajima.
4. IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles: Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami (c) defeated Raku & Pom Harajuku when Yamashita pinned Raku with the Skull Kick (14:27).
*V1 for Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami.
5. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) defeated Matcha with the Spinning Tear Drop (17:47).
*V3 for Miu Watanabe.

The last few years of Tokyo Joshi Pro and SETUP working together has all led to this, the first TJPW show to be held in Thailand! Such an important show needed an important match so Match, the current SETUP All Asia Women’s Champion challenged Miu Watanabe for the Princess Of Princess Title. The hometown challenger winning would lead to severe consequences for 4th January and rob that show of a main event title match but Watanabe took the match and won through in the end. A late pin after the Saito Suplex gave Watanabe enough recovery time to kick out. She was then able to block another Saito Suplex, hit Matcha with the Laserbeam strike and finish her off with the Spinning Tear Drop. She told Matcha after the match she is glad they got to show each other their love for pro wrestling in a place that Matcha holds so dear. While Matcha couldn’t win the title, she thinks today was a huge victory for the Thailand wrestling scene because this was the first all-women wrestling show to take place in Southeast Asia.

The connections between TJPW and SETUP also runs deep because a TJPW team currently hold one of SETUP’s championships. Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami were here to defend the IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles and their opponents were two TJPW wrestlers who have already made their mark in SETUP by being champions there in the past. Raku & Pom Harajuku got the jump on the champions at the start by using Raku’s nap trick, then Raku tried to suffocate Toribami with a pillow while Yamashita chased Harauku around ringside. Harajuku armed herself with boxing gloves so she could punch Yamashita but ended up bumping into Raku when they missed some attacks. Toribami knocked Harajuku away with a Shining Enzuigiri while Yamashita set Raku with the Skull Kick for the succesful defence. Toribami was thrilled because this was her first time defending a championship while Yamashita was relieved because she couldn’t predict what Raku & Harajuku would get up to. It’s complicated because on the one hand she doesn’t want to have another title match against them but on the other she thinks they should have a rematch back in Japan. Harajuku is disappointed because if her team won, she wanted to take the black title belt and Raku would get the red one.

The MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title was also defended on this show when Shoko Nakajima put the belt on the line against a regular name around these parts Alexis Lee. When it was clear that Nakajima had the upper hand in ability, Lee resorted to cheating. The referee Shivam was accidentally taken out by Nakajima’s Rider Kick and when Lee gave her the Sister Abigal, nobody was around to count it. Lee then grabbed the belt and hit Nakajima with it before hitting her No Lee Way finisher but Shivam’s slow recovery gave Nakajima enough breathing room to kick out at two. Nakajima then avoided the Sister Abigail to hit Lee with the 619 then followed it up with the Double Arm DDT and Diving Senton for the victory. Nakajima said she now has the right to go and wrestle in Lee’s home country of Singapore so next time they can go fight over there.

Shino Suzuki led the way in Match #2 by giving everyone else in the match a “tour” of Bangkok in the ring. She & Yuki Arai worked together to wear down Suzume but Arisu Endo was there to save her tag partner. Daisy Monkey then went ahead on the attack with Endo taking care of Arai so Suzume could pin Suzuki with the Ring A Bell.

The height difference of Yuki Kamifuku and Uta Takami was shown throughout the opening match. Kamifuku kept using Big Boots and other moves that relied on her long legs. Takami worked hard to try and avoid the Famouser but her own Koala Clutch was blocked so Kamifuku could win with her finisher anyway.

The show began with a performance from all four members of The Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling). Also earlier in the day there was a SETUP show in the venue that featured Watanabe and Matcha signing their contracts for the title match.

1. Mizuki Watase & Rukiya defeated Yasu Urano & Rekka when Watase pinned Rekka with the Venetian (10:59).
2. Moeka Haruhi Vs Gabai Ji-chan ended in a Draw after a Double Pinfall (9:36).
3. Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi defeated Ken Ohka & Akira Shoji when Maeguchi pinned Ohka with the Ago Shitsurei Itashimasu (7:33).
4. Yuna Manase & Toga defeated YuuRI & Chika Nanase when Manase pinned Nanase after the Dynamic Hot Shot (13:27).
5. 3 Way Match: PSYCHO defeated Shuichiro Katsumura and Choun Shiryu when PSYCHO pinned Shiryu with the Got Trip (15:00).
6. Yumehito Imanari, Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Munetatsu Nakamura, Shota Kawakami & Sentaro Motoshima when Ishii submitted Motoshima with a Crab Hold (21:13).

The end of year title shots are safe and sound among the veterans. They crushed the mini-rebellion put together by the rookies who wanted to take over the main event scene for themselves. Keisuke Ishii said the match shows that Ganbare☆Pro has a strong sense of purpose all over from the young wrestlers to the most experienced. All that needs to be done now is for he, Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga to reclaim the titles from the current outsider champions in order to lead into the next year. Tominaga told the rookies they may feel like they are hated right now but they will understand in 10 years time.

Not only did Hot Shot get to team up in GanPro but they now have a tag team finisher to win matches with. The Dynamic Hot Shot is when Yuna Manase gives the opponent the Suzuki Dynamic along with Toga doing a Facebuster. Toga spoke about how happy she is to do the match because she looks up to Manase. She also notices how much attention she gives YuuRI but after wrestling her today she understands why. Toga also enjoys how much she is wrestling Chika Nanase lately and hopes that will continue back in Tokyo Joshi Pro. YuuRI gave motivation to Nanase by explaining how everyone who steps into a GanPro ring gets the Ganbare☆Spirit passed on to them.

Today was the first time the MMA fighter Akira Shoji wrestled in GanPro. He was teaming with Ken Ohka because the two are from Toyama. He will be back on 27th December to have a match with Shuichiro Katsumura but if there is one person he would like to meet in the ring again, it is Nobuhiko Takada given their connections to Pride FC. Shoji doesn’t know how often he will be wrestling in GanPro but while he is here he hopes to show off how sharp his skills still are.

After the show had ended, Takashi Sasaki appeared in the room wanting to talk to Yuna Manase. She had been sending him messages asking to team up and he wanted to answer her in person. He is moved by Manase’s passion and wants to team with her even though GanPro and FREEDOMS are rivals. However he wants to be sure that Manase is dedicated enough that they can go all the way towards winning the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles? She assured him that she is so they agreed to team up for the Mixed Tag Match at 27th December.

The Mixed Tag Match got other updates as well. Moeka Haruhi & Gabai Ji-Chan have decided to team up together after their match earlier in the show ended in a draw. She warns all the other teams that they will be booed against Gabai Ji-Chan no matter what they do. Also HARUKAZE received a message from Hartley Jackson asking to be added to the match, making it a 4 Way Tag. He is willing to team with anyone but would prefer HARUKAZE to be his partner. HARUKAZE agreed to have a one day return to wrestling so Lethal Weapon can team up again!

Now many years later Super Japan is debuting a “Showa” II who has inherited the gimmick alongside a new tag team partner named “Reiwa”. The two of them will be MIKAMI & Takashi Sasaki’s opponents.

A masked wrestler from India named Tokyo Ganesha first appeared last year in Michinoku Pro for their signature Fukumen World League tournament. He has made a handful of appearances in both M-Pro and ChocoPro (oh, I wonder why?) since then and will next make his debut for Baka Gaijin + Friends. His opponent will be Princess Ram.

5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated Seiya Morohashi with La Magistral Cradle (17:16).
*V6 for Ryota Nakatsu.

A close shave for Ryota Nakatsu almost put an end to his Union MAX Title reign before his big defence at the end of the year. Seiya Morohashi countered the V Slider into the Crippler Crossface and Nakatsu got out of it to pin him with La Magistral Cradle. He praised Morohashi after the match for being such a noble macho man and then sent a message to Shuji Ishikawa for their title match on 28th December. The match was already on the schedule but Nakatsu felt it would be pointless if he didn’t publicly challenge Ishikawa beforehand. Backstage he said he now has new moves like La Magistral and the Super Figure 4 Arm Lock that will give him a good chance to beat Ishikawa. Morohashi complained that he didn’t lose and promised to keep appearing in BASARA to get revenge.

Both Takato Nakano and Kosuke Sato have known each other since high school and have trained together at the Hamaguchi Dojo. They were able to convince Big Japan and BASARA to let them have a BJW Jr. Heavyweight Title today. It was Nakano’s third shot at the championship but he couldn’t win it here. He has one more chance coming up on 30th December when BJW is holding a 6-Man Championship Scramble style match with Sato and Nakano both taking part. Sato wanted to see Isami Kodaka at today’s show but he wasn’t there so he left a message for him to get better and come back soon.

The entire show consisted of nothing but title matches up and down the card. Takumi Tsukamoto, Banana Senga & KURO-OBI have formed a team in TTT called Kokutai Gundan and they all wrestle while wearing black belts. They are the current TTT Indie Unified 6-Man Tag Team Champions and they were able to successfully defend them against the Super Family.

The YJF Cruiserweight Title is defended in Best 2 Out Of 3 Matches where only throws and grappling moves are permitted. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi served as the referee for the title match and even disqualified FUMA in the first match when he kept ignoring his instructions. FUMA made up for it in the second match by quickly tapping out Ayumu Honda with a Kimura Lock. But in the deciding round Honda scored the winning point with a Judo throw to retain the championship. After the match Daiki Shimomura walked out and demanded another shot at the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles. Hiroshi spoke on behalf of Honda and said he wouldn’t fight a weakling like Shimomura again. But when Shimomura invited Takumi Tsukamoto out to be his tag partner, Hiroshi said Honda is interested in fighting him so they can do the title match on 27th December.

Last but not least, Masato Kamino defeated Takeru Inoue to defend the Wrestle Brain Jr. Heavyweight Title. Five title matches on the show and none of them changed hands.

Moka Miyamoto Retires From Pro Wrestling

December 10, 2025

It was announced today by Tokyo Joshi Pro that Moka Miyamoto has decided to retire from pro wrestling. She had not wrestled a match since July of this year when she won the International Princess Title at “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25”. She was scheduled to take part in this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup that was to begin a week later but was taken out of action due to an illness that required treatment. She had to vacate the title because of it and remained out of the public eye since then. No word about her future was known until today’s announcement came out. Recently she had discussions with the company and expressed a desire to end her wrestling career in order to take a new path with her life. She eventually made the decision to retire and wished to do so without receiving a retirement ceremony.

Miyamoto included a message on the TJPW website’s report on her retirement. She said she took the time during her absence to reflect on her future and decided to draw a line on her wrestling career. She made it this far thanks to the warm support from everybody and said her days spent in TJPW will be cherished memories for her as she takes a new path in her life.

———————————————————————–

It’s a sad way to see a wrestling career end so abruptly like this. Miyamoto had worked so hard to finally win the IP Title with the story that it took her several shots at the belt before she could finally achieve it. Nobody at the time would ever have thought it would be her last match. All that was known outside of the company since then was she needed treated for a medical condition. It still isn’t publicly known what happened to her but at least she got to send out a message to everyone as she is leaving. It made the long inevitable news a little bit easier to swallow that way. A lot of the wrestlers are also tweeting about her today and wishing her luck online too.
