5f. Ilusion eliminated Yuki Ishida with an Inside Cradle (12:47).
6. Takeshi Masada’s 3rd Anniversary Match ~ 3 Vs 1 Handicap Match: Takeshi Masada defeated Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Bunbun when Masada pinned Honda with the Masada no Chikara KOBU Mukimuki (18:40).
Today’s main event was supposed to be celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of Takeshi Masada’s debut match. However plans slightly changed and he had to fight the rest of SCHADENFREUDE International by himself. That’s right, Bunbun didn’t want to team with him, he wanted to fight him instead. So Bunbun sided with Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda for a 3 Vs 1 Handicap Match against Masada. It was Bunbun’s debut wrestling match but the puppet ended up storming off after three missed attacks from Brookes hit him by mistake. Honda came up with an idea to bring him back by leading the others in the Bunbun Resurrection Dance. It succeeded too well because suddenly Bunbun emerged from under the ring in a second, more human sized form! He attacked everyone using John Cena’s moveset until SCHADENFREUDE all ganged up on him and forced him out of the ring. Bunbun later returned in his normal form but injured his knee in an attempted dive. It was all so he could do a Gongitsune spot with Honda. Masada evaded the attack and ended up beating Honda with his finisher. Masada thanked the others for having such a fun match with him on this anniversary and Bunbun talked about how much fun pro wrestling is.
The stipulation of the Elimination Tag Match was that every time there was a 1 Count kickout or a rope escape, everyone got to drink a cup of beer except for the team captains Yuki Ishida and MJ Paul. So nearly everyone in Harimao and DAMNATION T.A got drunk quickly while Ishida and Paul tried to take the match seriously.
Yukio Naya knows what always happens when you wrestle Danshoku Dieno so he wanted to embrace it. However Dieno didn’t want to give him the Lip Lock because he doesn’t think Naya is cute looking. He was apologetic over it and the two ended up clashing heads with each other after HARASHIMA accidently pushed them together. Naya and Dieno ended up switching bodies and now Dieno (in Naya’s body) gathered the urge to Lip Lock Naya (in Dieno’s body). He put on the Danshoku tights, did the Lip Lock and won the match with the Danshoku Driver. He then ran around ringside chasing after the ringside attendents. Later in the show Naya (in Dieno’s body) appeared during the Blindfold Bra match wearing his wrestling outfit.
Both To-y and Yuya Koroku are currently trying to farm as many life points as they can for their DDT Extreme Title match on 30th August. Life Points are mostly earned from social media posts getting lots of views but it also turns out they can be wagered too. To-y had 10 LP going into today’s show while Koroku had 12 so the two agreed to gamble 10 points each on their match in the opener. To-y beat Koroku directly to win the match for his team so not only did he win 10 extra LP, he also won Koroku’s Right To Challenge Arm Cover! Having caught the gambling bug, To-y then challenged Koroku to a double or nothing game of Rock Paper Scissors. He won that too but then kept asking for more rematches so he could reach his goal of 100 Life Points! Unfortunately his luck ran out and Koroku finally won a game. As a result both of them have reset their LP to 0 and will go back to social media to start farming LP again.

However he is confident that he can beat Kasai in a normal match so isn’t scared to fight him in a more dangerous environment.
The trainee Sentaro Motoshima has earned his debut spot on the show. He is being added to the rookies match that was already on the card with another extra wrestler to be announced once it has been decided who it shall be. Motoshima was born in Kagoshima on 4th October, 2001. He is 167cm tall and weighs 74kg. He has a background in basketball and volleyball. He also participates in strength training as a hobby.

They bonded over a year’s supply of tequila given to Desperado by the match sponsor so it was only a matter of time before they got to team up. -. Exhibition Match: Yumehito Imanari Vs Sentaro Motoshima ended in a Time Limit Draw (5:00).
The first battle in this summer feud between Ganbare☆Pro and FREEDOMS goes to GanPro! They were the home team for today’s main event but the visitors aren’t going to take defeat lying down. After Mizuki Watase pinned Daisuke Masaoka for the victory, Takashi Sasaki told the GanPro team not to let their guard down because this rivalry has only just begun. The next inter-promotional match will be at a FREEDOMS show in Shuichiro Katsumura’s hometown of Yokohama on 17th August. Sasaki promised he will embarrass Katsumura in front of his own people! He then told Watase that GanPro’s “amateur” training cannot prepare him for a Fluorescent Lighttube Death Match with Jun Kasai on 26th August. Ken Ohka defended Watase by saying everybody has a first time for everything! Watase and nobody else in GanPro for that matter are going to fight FREEDOMS with the intention of losing. Watase then said if it he was just going to have a normal rules match with Kasai he would definitely beat him right now! He is going to put everything he’s learned during his 10 year career into this match so don’t underestimate him.
The Ken Ohka Vs Thanomsak Toba was put together as a tribute for the late Tomohiko Hashimoto. Both wrestlers spoke about their memories of him after the match.
The GanPro trainee Sentaro Motoshima was given plenty of chances to do stuff in the ring today. At the start of the show he had a five minute exhibition match with Ken Ohka. The intent of the match was to last the full five minutes so it continued even though Ohka made Motoshima submit to a Crab Hold halfway through. Ohka criticised Motoshima after the match by telling him he did no good and has to try harder. Yumehito Imanari joined in and told Motoshima he is taking his debut match set for 26th August for granted which means he is also underestimating GanPro as a whole. Imanari then decided that Motoshima would have an exhibition match with him at the end of the show!
The bonus exhibition did go ahead after the FREEDOMS team made their exit. Imanari attacked Motoshima with a chair leading to them fighting out in the crowd. Back in the ring Motoshima escaped from a Crab Hold and kept Imanari back with Dropkicks until the time expired. The bell rang but the two continued fighting for another two minutes. When they finally stopped, Imanari asked the audience if they could understand Motoshima’s feelings and if he deserves to have make his pro debut? The audience applauded his efforts. Imanari told him pro wrestling is tough and scares him because he has seen so many people get injured but the determination to overcome those fears is why he is here with Ohka supporting GanPro. For the last 12 years they’ve been waiting for a guy like Motoshima to join them. Ohka confirmed the debut is going ahead and he advised the trainee never to forget to be grateful to the fans.
During the show Michiyoshi Mishima announced more matches for the 26th August Korakuen Hall show. MAO is coming to GanPro to team with Fuminori Abe & Tyson Maeguchi to take on Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie & Takuya Wada. Also the Ganbare☆Joshi match for the show will be Yuna Manase & YuuRI Vs Moeka Haruhi & Hanako Nakamori.
GanPro also announced that their next Korakuen show after August will be on 27th December.
1. Yukio Naya defeated Tomomitsu Matsunaga with The World’s Best Back Drop (8:19).

3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul defeated HARASHIMA, Makoto Oishi & Aero Boy when Okatani pinned Oishi with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster (11:55).
4. Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere 4 Way Match: Yuya Koroku defeated Ilusion, Takeshi Masada and Kazuma Sumi when Koroku pinned Sumi with the Moonsault Press (7:13). *Yuya Koroku wins the Green Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Arm Cover.
5. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Yuki Iino & Yuki Ishida defeated Jun Akiyama, Chris Brookes & Daichi Sato when Higuchi submitted Sato with the Claw (13:25).
6. MAO 10th Anniversary Match Vol. 1 ~ Special Tag Match: MAO & KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) defeated Yuki Ueno & To-y when MAO pinned To-y with a Running Palm Strike (21:01).
The first part of MAO’s 10th Anniversary celebrations began in his hometown of Miyagi. He promised the locals he will become Miyagi’s Shikaku Hero and bring the square ring back to the city’s square venue on 14th December. Yuki Ueno had fun fighting MAO and KANON again but To-y promised next time he will turn MAO from a square into a triangle shaped mess! He also threatened to hurt KIMIHIRO during the match which led to KIMIHIRO sneaking in an Apron Dropkick to Ueno later in the match.
After winning the first two prelim matches in their series, Kazusada Higuchi is not taking the results for granted. He feels like his team only beat Jun Akiyama’s team by a hair’s breadth today. Daichi Sato took responsibility for the loss. He said he wanted to win the match by himself in front of Akiyama but ended up submitting to Higuchi’s Claw Hold. Akiyama is learning from the matches though and warns Higuchi he can see his moves clearly now.
The second Right To Challenge Arm Cover was won by Yuya Koroku after he was the last man standing in the 4 Way Match. He wants to keep his focus on the DDT Extreme Title match with To-y first so he will think carefully about what will come next.
Match #2 was changed a couple of times because Gorgeous Matsuno was unable to appear at the show. He had fever symptoms so the match was going to be turned into a 3 Way Match. However Kazuki Hirata currently has a Right To Challenge Arm Cover so Danshoku Dieno & Akito agreed to team up and have a 2 Vs 1 Handicap Match instead. Hirata escaped with a lucky win when Dieno was knocked down sitting on Akito’s face while giving Hirata a Lip Lock. Akito couldn’t take having Dieno’s exposed backside pressing down on his face so he gave up and since Dieno was on his team that meant Hirata was the winner!
1. Yukio Naya Vs Tomomitsu Matsunaga
2. 3 Way Match: Danshoku Dieno Vs Akito Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul Vs HARASHIMA, Makoto Oishi & Aero Boy

5. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Yuki Iino & Yuki Ishida Vs Jun Akiyama, Chris Brookes & Daichi Sato
6. MAO 10th Anniversary Match Vol. 1 ~ Special Tag Match: MAO & KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Yuki Ueno & To-y
Gorgeous Matsuno was showing fever symptoms so as a precaution he will not be wrestling on tomorrow’s show. The Tag Match he was meant to be in will now be a 3 Way Match between Danshoku Dieno, Akito and Kazuki Hirata. Keep in mind that the Right To Challenge Arm Cover currently belonging to Hirata is now active.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO PRINCESS CUP”, 17/08/2025 Osaka Edion Arena #2
1. 12th Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Shoko Nakajima Vs Miu Watanabe
2. 12th Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Yuki Arai Vs Arisu Endo
Osaka is the location for the Tokyo Princess Cup semi finals because what do names even mean anymore? On the one side is Shoko Nakajima against Miu Watanabe in a rematch from their highly praised bout from the Texas tour. Nakajima is treating this match like it is the final given who her opponent is. Watanabe sees just how hard Nakajima has been working as a double champion and wants to match that effort to win.
On the other is Yuki Arai versus Arisu Endo. Arai’s advances in the tournament have never gone worse than the year previously so she either remains stuck in semi final tier for the third year in a row or finally makes it to the final. Endo has never beaten Arai but is coming off of eliminating Miyu Yamashita. Except there’s not many people in the tournament’s history who benefitted from knocking Yamashita out. It’s just Yuka Sakazaki in 2017 and Mizuki in 2019 who continued advancing all the way to the finals from there.

1. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki defeated Takeshi Masada with the Aoki Clutch (7:21).
2. Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere 3 Way Match: Kazuki Hirata defeated Danshoku Dieno and Super Sasadango Machine when Hirata pinned Dieno with the Miracle One Shot Cradle (13:27). *Kazuki Hirata wins the Yellow Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Arm Cover.

4. Named By Kazuki Hirata “I’m Koroku” Rule: Chris Brookes & Yuya Koroku defeated Yuki Ueno & To-y when Koroku submitted To-y with the Modified Triangle Lancer (12:29).
5. Special Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida defeated Jun Akiyama & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when Higuchi submitted Matsunaga with the Claw (9:22).
6. Special Tag Match: MAO & KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) defeated Minoru Suzuki & Akito when MAO pinned Akito with a Gedo Clutch (14:16).
7. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion (c) defeated Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Kazuma Sumi when Okatani pinned Sumi with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster (20:42). *V4 for DAMNATION T.A.
The two and a half heavyweight challengers tried using their size to take the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles from DAMNATION T.A. by stacking up on each other. But they didn’t think it through so Kazuma Sumi tried and failed to piggyback Yuki Iino and Yukio Naya over his shoulders. MJ Paul then pulled the referee out of the ring when Naya had Choke Slammed Hideki Okatani. With the ref down, Daisuke Sasaki started attacking the other team with a chair and Ilusion gave them Low Blows too. The Apex figured out how to stack themselves up properly by having Iino piggyback Naya and Sumi stand on top of them for a dive. Unfortunately Sumi missed and despite trying to use the School Boy for a last gasp victory, he ended up getting pinned by Okatani with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster.
After the match Okatani taunted The Apex by telling them to train more for the KO-D Tag Team Titles match at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025”. Sasaki said that won’t matter because he and Okatani will surpass them through sheer talent alone. He then had an announcement to make about “CHARISMANIAxMANIAxMANIA” on 2nd October. The main event is going to be Sasaki & El Desperado taking on Shuji Ishikawa & Antonio Honda! Two years after Sasaki and Desperado fought each other in DDT, they now want to team up!
A trickster to the end, MAO was involved in one of the more creative match finishes of the year. He tried to pin Akito with the Japanese Leg Roll Clutch but Minoru Suzuki blocked it and put him in the Sleeper Hold. KANON broke that up and knocked Suzuki into MAO back to back. From there MAO gave Suzuki a Backslide Pin while applying the Gedo Clutch to Akito, pinning both of them for the win. With this victory MAO believes he is now the only person who can take the DDT Universal Title back from Suzuki. However Suzuki has now sworn to kill him at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025”!
Kazusada Higuchi is looking forward to defending the KO-D Openweight Title against Jun Akiyama. He sees it as his chance to get revenge for failing to take the title from Akiyama back in 2021. Akiyama said he may have lost today’s prelim match but he got to have a good look at Higuchi. They still have a few more weeks to go until the match so Akiyama hopes he and Higuchi will stay in good condition until then.
The DDT Extreme Title exists to be an avenue for wrestlers to be at their most creative. To-y is expecting Yuya Koroku to come up with an idea crazy enough to make their upcoming title bout exciting. Today Koroku tested his idea out by applying “I Am Koroku” rules (Kazuki Hirata came up with the name) to his tag match against To-y. The rule was a total pinfall count of 20 was needed to win the match alongside the other usual ways. However Koroku ended up winning the match by submission instead. To-y complained that the rules never said that but Koroku defended himself by explaining he never said pinfall was the only way to win. Since To-y is the champion he gets to pick the rules for the title match. He announced them on social media after the show. From now until the day of the show, he and Koroku will receive one life point for every social media post they make that reaches over 10,000 impressions. During the match itself every one count pinfall, rope break and getting thrown out of the ring will take away a Life Point until the loser is reduced to zero.
The first Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere prize was up for grabs. This year the prizes are represented with different color Arm Covers. However the first match featured wrestlers who were all hesitant to win for one reason or another. It turns out Danshoku Dieno, Super Sasadango Machine and Kazuki Hirata all do not want to deal with the pressure of holding the title shot that they could lose before cashing it in. Hisaya Imabayashi pleaded with them to take the match seriously so they did. Hirata won the match and couldn’t help but feel fired up over it. He now expects to get beaten up more than usual while building up anticipation for when he will cash in his KO-D Title shot. If he loses it before then he will only be disappointing everyone so he promised to keep it like it was part of his costume.
DDT began the show with a 10 bell salute dedicated to the late Tomohiko Hashimoto. He passed away at 47 years old from liver cancer on 5th August.

9. 12th Tokyo Princess Cup – Quarter Final: Shoko Nakajima defeated Mizuki with the Diving Senton (18:30).
Eight gets whittled down to four as the Tokyo Princess Cup went through the Quarter Finals today. In the main event it was champion against champion as Mizuki fought Shoko Nakajima. It was their first singles match against each other since the 2020 Princess Cup Final but they were both prepared for each other. Nakajima was able to prevent the Cutie Special from happening but Mizuki also knew when to block the 619 with a Dropkick. However Nakajima was persistent with the move and eventually found her mark with it. She also fought to lock in the Unmanned Local Train Hold but Mizuki got out of it with a rope break. She then got to do the Cutie Special from the top rope as a counter for Nakajima planning a top rope Hurricanrana. But Nakajima took over and used her signature moves one after the other before pinning Mizuki with the Diving Senton. After the match Nakajima told Mizuki the next time they have a singles match she will be wearing the Princess Of Princess Title at the end of it. Backstage Mizuki said she wants to get revenge for this loss so she hopes Nakajima wins the tournament to set up a rematch with the Princess Title on the line. In fact, she is willing to give her a title shot even if Nakajima doesn’t win the Cup.
The unexpected upset of the Quarter Finals… wait can it really be called unexpected? Maybe Miyu Yamashita finally winning the Princess Cup in 2023 and skipping the 2024 tournament made some fans forget the Cup has historically been Yamashita’s Achilles heel throughout her entire career. Well today was her rude awakening because Arisu Endo knocked her out in the Quarter Finals! Endo tried to make a gameplan around using her mobility to disrupt Yamashita’s moves but that didn’t work. Instead she had to rely on her guts and take every kick her opponent threw at her. Soon she was able to read Yamashita’s attacks but Yamashita fired back by escaping the Camel Clutch to give Endo a German Suplex. Endo was able to withstand more strikes and used a Waterwheel Drop to throw Yamashita into the turnbuckles. Endo then stunned her with a Super Kick and used the Ju no Okite to get the upset victory. Endo said she was flooded with memories of the past as soon as this match was announced. She remembered feeling helpless against Yamashita in their early singles matches and also remembered Yamashita directly beating her to take the Princess Tag Team Titles. But the Endo that is here today could not have existed without that past. She owes a lot to Yamashita because whenever they fight, Endo finds a passion she never knew she had coming out and it gets her super fired up. Yamashita was frustrated over the loss but she tells herself she’ll just need to switch her focus. She wanted to fight Rika Tatsumi in the tournament this year but Tatsumi was eliminated in the first round so none of Yamashita’s Princess Cup dreams came true this year.
Yuki Arai isn’t wasting time climbing her way back to getting another Princess Title shot. She also continues to have the upper hand on Wakana Uehara whenever they face each other. Uehara was softened up with Big Boots but she got to do a Brainbuster to set up the Banana Pillow. Arai reached the ropes but took enough damage that she couldn’t pin Uehara straight away after doing the Full Nelson Buster. Uehara went for a series of roll ups, ending with a Jackknife Pin to try and win the same way she did in Round 1. However Arai caught Uehara by the legs and turned her over into the Scorpion Death Lock, keeping it locked in until Uehara gave up. Arai said Uehara’s growth since last year’s tournament has been incredible. She wonders if they will face each other again at next year’s Princess Cup to make it three years in a row. Arai hopes she will win if that does happen. Uehara is disappointed she lost to Arai again but she is proud of the progress she has made. If Uehara can’t be the centre of attention this year then she will support Arai to go all the way instead.
The power of Miu Watanabe was just too overwhelming for Haru Kazashiro to handle. From Backbreakers to Batting Hammers to Power Slams, Watanabe broke her opponent off piece by piece. Kazashiro found some moments to fight back by targeting Watanabe’s arms but soon she found herself being spun around in a Front Neck Lock Giant Swing. Once Watanabe put her into the Reverse Paradox, it was all over for Kazashiro. Watanabe said she could sense how fired up Kazashiro was for this match and she will continue to grow even more from here. While Kazashiro acknowledges her improvement from last year’s tournament, she still doesn’t feel like she has caught up yet. She sees this match as an important milestone and her last summer as a high school student isn’t over yet.
A few hours after the show was finished, TJPW held the draw to set up the semi final pairings. Rise Shirai watched over the proceedings and the matches happening on 17th August are Shoko Nakajima Vs Miu Watanabe and Yuki Arai Vs Arisu Endo. Watanabe thinks Nakajima has been performing at full speed ever since she won the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title so she had to work hard against her recently. She would also like to face Arai in the final because it will be a first time singles match for them. Nakajima talked about how well received their recent match in Texas was but the praise doesn’t make up for her being the loser of the match. As far as Nakajima is concerned, this match feels like the final. Arai has made the semi finals before but wants to beat Endo so she can finally reach the final. Endo has noticed how often Arai is present for TJPW’s important moments lately. She has never beaten Arai but knows she’ll need to stop her unstoppable momentum in order to make it to the final. She has the confidence to do it after beating Yamashita today.
Today was Ivy Steele’s final match with Tokyo Joshi Pro before she returns home to England. She has spent a year in Japan as part of a cultural program with her university back in Great Britain. She walked down to the ring with Kira Summer carrying both the British flag and Australian flag. She put Toga in the Vines Of Ivy submission hold but Chika Nanase broke it up. Summer threw Nanase aside with a Back Body Drop but Steele ended up getting pinned by Toga’s Rock Bottom. Backstage Steele said she was happy her last TJPW match was with people she loves but it’s a shame she wasn’t able to win. Summer suggested since they lost that means Steele will have to come back to Japan so she can get her win back. Steele pointed out she and Toga have a 1-1 singles record against each other. So don’t treat this as a goodbye, it is more see you later.
Pom Harajuku sat out in the front row for the beginning of the 3 Way Match because she wanted to see fireworks between Yuki Kamifuku and HIMAWARI. She eventually got involved but kept demanding the other two jump in the air like they were fireworks blowing up. HIMAWARI was happy to join in but Kamifuku wasn’t. When she was finally convinced to give it a go, Kamifuku was suddenly attacked by the other two and the match proceeded as normal.
