Isami Kodaka blamed his team’s loss in the main event over his ring gear. His usual Yankee Two Kenju costume got damaged and when he ordered a replacement costume it came in grey when he asked for them to be black. In hindsight he realized that was a bad sign he & Yuko Miyamoto were going to lose today. Both of them felt nostalgic fighting against Speed Of Sounds again so they are happy with the match despite losing. SOS agrees and would like to fight Yankee Two Kenju again but not often. Like in 20 years time.

At the end of the show Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino came out and challenged SOS for the IRON FIST Tag Titles. SOS pointed out that Aijin Tag has never beaten them before and they’ve failed to win the IRON FIST Tag Titles from them twice, once in each of their title reigns. Nakano understands that but believes he and Kamino will win the next time. Senga appreciated their courage and accepted their challenge as long as they think they can surpass their last match. The title defence will happen on 6th September.

Daiki Shimomura has made it known he wants a shot at the Union MAX Title. He’s been in a lot of singles matches this year for BASARA and they’ve been going well for him. After beating Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi he wants to use this momentum to earn himself a title match.

Jun Akiyama has also tested positive for covid. He was already taken off the shows because of his poor condition and received his positive PCR result earlier today.

Kodaka and Tsutomu Oosugi eliminated each other by taking each other over the top rope and out of the ring, leaving Banana Senga as the last man left. Senga was the match MVP, eliminating FUMA & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi within the same minute of each other.

5. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga (c) defeated Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino when Oosugi pinned Kamino with a School Boy (18:09).

It was a lucky result for Speed Of Sounds today. They barely defeated Aijin Tag thanks to a Thrust Kick from Banana Senga to Masato Kamino leading into a School Boy from Tsutomu Oosugi. Senga admitted afterwards that the match was even closer than the one last month and they probably wouldn’t win if they did another rematch. Oosugi cut him off but Takato Nakano’s eyes lit up and he begged for another rematch next month. SOS won’t do it so Nakano told them to hold onto the IRON FIST Tag Titles until Aijin Tag can earn another title shot.

Shigehiro Irie offered to shake SAGAT’s hand after their match but SAGAT refused. Instead he begged Irie for a rematch somewhere down the line. Irie nodded and left the ring.

A “perfect three count” happened when Daiki Shimomura pinned Ryota Nakatsu in their tag match. He pinned him with a 2 count before and today’s three count means Shimomura now has the confidence he needs to beat Nakatsu again when the Union MAX Title is on the line on 28th April.

The Jacket Match between Fuminori Abe and Gouma actually begun during the show opening announcements and continued while the opening tag match was going on. Both matches ended up getting mixed together at points. This was allowed to happen because the Jacket Match had No DQs, No Countouts and could only be won by Knockout. Abe won by knocking out Gouma with the Nagabuchi Kick. Asian Kung Fu Revolution then attacked the both of them because it turns out Abe and Gouma just ruined FUMA’s 12th Anniversary match! Takumi Tsukamoto & Yasu Urano came back out to rescue them, leading to a big brawl between everyone in the ring.

Daiki Shimomura beat Nakatsu the last time they fought each other but it was in a 2 Count Rules match. He is confident he can pin Nakatsu for a 3 Count and take the MAX Title from him.

4. Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga defeated Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino when Oosugi pinned Nakano with a Cradle (9:40).
5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated FUMA with a Back Roll Clutch (16:40).

Ryota Nakatsu beats FUMA by the skin of his teeth to retain the Union MAX Title. Nakatsu thanked FUMA for the challenge and FUMA admitted the champion’s judo was stronger than his own kung fu. Daiki Shimomura walked out and reminded Nakatsu he beat him in the first round of last year’s Heaven Summit tournament. It was in a 2 Count match and even so, Tsukamoto claims he kicked out at 1.9. Shimomura said he can beat him with a three count so he challenged him to a title match next month.

Speed Of Sounds praised their opponents for becoming a stronger tag team, one that could beat them the next time they wrestle each other. Takato Nakano took their word and demanded a rematch with the IRON FIST Tag Titles on the line. If it is true that he and Masato Kamino have even a tiny percent chance of beating SOS then they want to take it. Tsutomu Oosugi tried to explain he only said that as a compliment but he & Banana Senga had to accept the challenge in the end. Nakano & Kamino want to win the belts and stand at the forefront of BASARA!

The OATH At The Peach Garden used by CDK is a Super Kick from Masahiro Takanashi into a Back Clutch Hold from Chris Brookes.

With another title defence in the books, Speed Of Sounds think everything was easy-peasy today. Last time they held the IRON FIST Tag Titles they defended them for a year. This time they want to defend it for two years so it will feel like going from Normal difficulty to Hard mode. IRON PRIEST thought they had everything it took to win the titles today. Yusuke Kubo thinks their plan fell apart in the middle of the match. FUMA put everything he gained from the two years since the teams last fought each other into the match and felt he failed right at the end. They will not lose hope though and are ready for a rematch whenever and wherever Speed Of Sounds want it.

For the last time Isami Kodaka and Tank Nagai got to wrestle each other. After the match ended in a draw, Kodaka told Nagai that just because his wrestling career is ending does not mean his life is. No matter what Nagai does next, Kodaka wants him to remember this match and go for it. Nagai said he and his wife Mio Shirai are about to have their third child. The next time he comes to BASARA in some form, he’ll be able to show the power of all five members of his family.

1. SAGAT defeated Lil Kraken with the Goregrind (8:28).
2. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato defeated Tsutomu Oosugi & Gouma when Hiroshi submitted Gouma with the Kesagatame (11:11).
3. FUMA & Yusuke Kubo defeated Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino when Kubo pinned Kamino with the Death Metal Roll (14:00).
4. Takumi Tsukamoto, Fuminori Abe & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Isami Kodaka, Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita when Tsukamoto pinned Shimomura with the O-Cannon Bomb (16:19).
5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated Banana Senga with the V Slider (16:47).
*V2 for Ryota Nakatsu.

Ryota Nakatsu jokingly made sure he didn’t break Banana Senga’s jaw this time and kept asking him if his chin was ok after the main event. Senga was angry over losing to Nakatsu and had to be held back by Tsutomu Oosugi. He was told he was getting hot headed before their next match where this time the IRON FIST Tag Titles will be on the line. After Speed Of Sounds left, Nakatsu said he & SAGAT will win the belts on 26th December and he will become a double crown champion! Sparky and SOS later had another confrontation backstage after the show.

Earlier this year Takumi Tsukamoto was a triple crown champion holding the Union MAX Title, the BJW Death Match Title and the obscure CCW Canadian Heavyweight Title. He eventually lost the first two but still has the CCW Title in his possession. Little is known about the origins of the title but Tsukamoto was told it was brought to Japan by Bad News Allen around 20 years ago and other former champions include Shigeo Okumura and Kazuhiko Matsuzaki. It was revived five years ago and Tsukamoto was even part of the tournament to crown the new champion. Daichi Kazato told him he never defends the title so he dared him to put it on the line against him. It took some convincing but in the end Tsukamoto agreed to a title match on 26th December.

This was Minoru Fujita’s first match in BASARA since August. Masahiro Takanashi paused the match to congratulate him on his return from illness. He then hit him with the Rocket Punch.

During Match #2 Kazato and Oosugi got into an endless cycle of Tombstone reversals along the entrance ramp that took them away from ringside and out of their match. They returned to the ring still doing the reversals after Match #4. Oosugi won out by hitting the Tombstone on Kazato and left. Kazato then grabbed a microphone while prone and made his CCW Title challenge to Tsukamoto.
