8. KO-D Openweight Title: KUDO (c) Vs HARASHIMA
*HARASHIMA cashes in his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.

The Drift Vs Smile Squash match is now for the All Asia Tag Team Titles. This time DDT really does have the official certificate signed by PWF President Dory Funk Jr. The press conference announcing the match was interrupted by All Japan wrestler SUSHI. Amon Tsurumi did not know who he was and he got into an argument with SUSHI over who he is. SUSHI then challenged Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie to a title match but was told he was too late. But Tsurumi suggested he could challenge the winners. SUSHI did just that. Ishii & Irie suggested he could team with Raideen Hagane. SUSHI got annoyed by the suggestion and left.

Due to strong demands from Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi there is a change to their planned Six Man Tag Team match. Apparently there is a feud between Ultraman Robin and Konaka = Pehlwan that must be settled once and for all. Robin and Konaka will team with distant members of their families for the match. Robin has Takagi Robin & Owashi Robin on his team while Konaka will bring along Endo = Pehlwan & Takeshita = Pehlwan.

3. Disolution? Continuation? Will Angry Ihashi Eat The Riders? – Loser Unit Disband Match: Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega & Daisuke Sasaki Vs Gota Ihashi, Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga

With the Golden Rendezvous turning into the Golden Storm Riders, Gota Ihashi found himself replaced by Daisuke Sasaki. Hungry for revenge, Ihashi has formed a new unit with Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga and challenged the Riders to a match. DDT decided to make it a Losers Must Disband match. A confident Ihashi will announce his group’s name after their spectacular victory over the Storm Riders.

Poison Sawada JULIE is happy to see the hardest man in pro wrestling, Jun Akiyama as the reigning Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion. However, Sanshiro Takagi is determined to win back the championship and has thrown his name into the Battle Royal.

GANBARE☆WRESTLING “~CHAPTER 2 2ND SEASON~ VOL. 3”, 01/06/2014
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Special Single Match: Shota Vs Tiger Bed Scene
2. No Offline Broadcast Special Streaming Double Hell Match: Shibata Vs Tanomusaku Toba

Shibata is a mixed martial artist who also helps with the broadcast of Ganbare☆Wrestling’s videos on Nico Douga. He approached Ken Ohka asking to join the Ganpuro roster and for the two of them to team together. Ohka declined to team with him but offered him an MMA match against a famous kickboxer. Shibata asked if it was Peter Aerts. Ohka said it’s not Aerts, it’s former DDT competitor and also video editor Tanomusaku Toba. I think based on the match name the idea is it will be streamed online.

Tigger Bed Scene is from SWS, a longtime student wrestling promotion.

Looks like Antonio Honda is digging deep into the bag of ridiculous stipulation matches from America for his show. An iron glove used for coal mining will be placed over one of the turnbuckles for Yasu Urano and Hiroshi Fukuda to fight over. Fukuda will be wrestling as his “Mr. Perfect” persona.

5b. Seiya Morohashi eliminated Fumihito Kihara with a Cradle (16:07).
5c. Yumehito Imanari eliminated Seiya Morohashi by Ring Out (17:20).
5d. Isami Kodaka eliminated Ken Ohka by Ring Out (19:23).
5e. Isami Kodaka eliminated Yumehito Imanari with Zan Isamu Leg (21:07).

Isami Kodaka was the last man standing in the Union Vs Ganbare☆Wrestling Elimination match. Ganpuro were able to reduce the Union team down to just Kodaka but their advantage was ruined when Yumehito Imanari accidentaly eliminated his team mate Ken Ohka from the match with a badly timed Axe Bomber. Kodaka then kicked Imanari in the head to win the match. Kodaka then told Ohka he would face him anytime, even right there in Miyagi. But Ohka gathered his troops and left ringside defeated.

6. Ganbare☆Martial Arts Open Tournament – Semi Final: Ken Ohka Vs Shota ended in a Double Count Out (5:34)
6a. Shota defeated Ken Ohka by Count Out (0:24).
7. Ganbare☆Martial Arts Open Tournament – Semi Final: Tatsuhito Takaiwa defeated Yuki Shizuku with a Cross Armlock (8:51).
8. Special Tag Match: Osamu Namiguchi & Crusher Takahashi defeated Yumehito Imanari & Tigger Bed Scene when Namiguchi submitted Bed Scene with a Half Crab (16:17).
9. Ganbare☆Martial Arts Open Tournament – Final: Tatsuhito Takaiwa defeated Shota by Knockout with the Death Valley Bomb (10:38).

This show was built around the Ganbare☆Martial Arts Open Tournament, pitting 8 fighters with different styles against each other in a playoff. Matches could be won by pinfall, submission, a 10 count KO or a 10 count outside the ring. In the first round Ken Ohka (Pro Wrestling) defeated Megane (Taekwando), Shota (American Wrestling) defeated Shibata Maeda (Mixed Martial Arts) and Yuki Shizuku (Amateur Wrestling) defeated Gorikiko (Judo). One of the unknown fighters invited to compete declined to participate, allowing Jr. Heavyweight wrestler Tatsuhito Takaiwa (Tai Chi) a bye into the semi finals. In the semis Ohka and Shota were both counted outside of the ring leading to a draw. The match was immediately restarted and Shota dove onto Ohka from the apron. The two were in danger of getting counted out again until Shota entered the ring before the ref counted ten. Shota celebrated his victory by getting the audience to chant “Yes!” over and over. Taikawa defeated Shizuku by submission to meet Shota in the final. Takaiwa then knocked out Shota with his patented Death Valley Bomb to win the tournament. Taikawa offered a handshake to Shota after the match but instead knocked him down with a Lariat. He took the mic and said he never wanted to be in the tournament and does not know Tai Chi. He called Ganbare☆Wrestling a scum company for lying about him. Ohka confronted Taikawa and challenged him to a match on 1st June.

Survival Tobita got his revenge on Dr. Kiriko in a Medical Human Dog Food Death Match, which I think was just a fancy name for a regular old death match involving medical items. The match was officiated by a special doctor known as Dr. Lin. Kiriko did some nefarious stuff to try and beat Tobita, even giving him an examination during the match. This backfired when he struck Tobita’s knee with a hammer and unintentionally got a Low Blow in return. Kiriko turned the tables and intended to kill Tobita with an injection but Dr. Lin came to the rescue and gave Kiriko the Rainmaker. Tobita followed up with a Piledriver to get the three count. As punishment for losing, Kiriko was unmasked to reveal he was Atsushi Maruyama, the former Tigers Mask from Osaka Pro! Maruyama then acted like he was saved from darkness saying that the school route he used to be scared of is now gone, the rain has stopped and the sun is starting to rise again. He also said he will not return to Ganpuro because of his actions.

2. Idea Pocket Offer Match: Ryu Gouma & Daichi Kazato defeated Madoka & Tomoya Kawamura when Gouma pinned Kawamura after hitting him with a Statute Book (6:06).

4. Ken Ohka defeated Cherry with the Spear Of Flame (6:55).
5. Isami Kodaka defeated Mitomi Masayuki with the Zan Isamu Leg (12:27).
6. UWA World Tag Team Titles: Hiroshi Fukuda & MEN’s Teioh defeated HIROKI & Yasu Urano (c) when Teioh submitted Urano with the Spinning Toe Hold (17:21).
*HIROKI & Yasu Urano fail in V3. World Men’s Club become the 17th UWA World Tag Team Champions!
7. Hikaru Sato defeated FUMA with the V1 Armlock (18:54).

FUMA put up a good fight in the main event but fell to Hikaru Sato’s strong submission game. Sato taunted Union afterwards saying the company really is a resting place for a “premium toy” like himself. Isami Kodaka confronted him but not until after he shook hands with FUMA and gave him some words of encouragement, saying he saw power in FUMA. He then called out both Sato and Ganbare☆Wrestling for their recent treatment of Union. He cannot lose to them and let down the rest of the roster.

The UWA World Tag Team Titles changed hands with Hiroshi Fukuda & MEN’s Teioh winning the belts from HIROKI & Yasu Urano. Teioh took offence from Urano when he questioned his condition and said he was passed his peak. Teioh, who was recently hospitalised proved Urano wrong by submitting him with the Spinning Toe Hold. Both Fukuda and Teioh celebrated by doing the World Men’s Club pose with their new championships while the fans chanted “USA!”

The Union Vs Ganpuro war continued with both sides getting one win each on tonight’s show. Shuji Ishikawa defeated Yumehito Imanari with little effort, knocking him out with a Knee Strike. Ken Ohka then defeated Cherry in a bout that felt like a grudge match. However Ohka told Cherry after the match that they are alike. Ohka fights hard to make Ganbare☆Wrestling a major company while Cherry fights hard to prove a woman her age can make it as a wrestler. Ohka then challenged Ishikawa to make their final battle on 18th May a death match!

Poison Sawada JULIE revealed his intentions to prevent Sanshiro Takagi from retiring the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. According to Sawada he possesses an ancient lighter from the Inca Empire which can be used to burn the championship belt. When burnt, a treasure map of Arica appears on the belt’s strap. If Takagi gets his way and retires the championship he will have the belt all to himself. Sawada does not want Takagi to discover the map and go after the ancient treasure so he travelled to an old hideout and searched for a certain item to help him. Even though the cave has become desolate over the years and many of his possessions are no longer kept there, he was able to find what he wanted. S Cells! These are potions that contain the power of Snake magic. Sawada then found Antonio Honda and used the S Cells to turn him into Snake Antonio! Now under Sawada’s spell, Antonio has been ordered to defeat Takagi at all costs and become the 1000th champion!

3. Shuji Ishikawa Vs Yumehito Imanari

5. Isami Kodaka Vs Mitomi Masayuki
6. FUMA Vs Hikaru Sato
7. UWA World Tag Team Titles: HIROKI & Yasu Urano (c) Vs Hiroki Fukuda & MEN’s Teioh

The Idea Pocket Divas for this month are Yu Namiki & Tsubasa Amami. The winning team in the match get a double date with the Divas. Ryu Gouma is a little uncomfortable with the stipulation, believing it is a human right violation.

FUMA is looking forward to fighting Hikaru Sato. He is annoyed with Sato treating Union as a rest stop and is looking forward to beating him.

The Union Vs Ganpuro war continues with two key matches happening on this show. Cherry destroyed Ganpuro’s Gorikiko in a violent Judo Jacket Match that had to be held away from the public for safety reasons. She is pissed and wants to remind everyone that Union is more than just Shuji Ishikawa and Naomi Susan. So she steps in to challenge Ken Ohka to a match that nobody should miss. Meanwhile Shuji Ishikawa defends Union against Ohka’s second in command, Yumehito Imanari.

There are currently four entries in the Ganbare☆Martial Arts Open Tournament: Ken Ohka (Wrestling), Glasses (Tae Kwon Do), Shota (American Wrestling) and Aki Shizuku (Amateur Wrestling). I think Glasses is Ladybeard’s friend who accompanied him when he fought as Richard Burn. Aki Shizuku is a joshi wrestler from REINA. She has amateur experience and was a runner up in the All Japan Student Championships.

1. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Union Pro: Daichi Kazato defeated Tomohiro Otani (w/ Shinichiro Tominaga) with a Swinging Complete Shot (4:21).
2. Survival! Take On The Enemy Of J-Soul Pandita III!: Dr. Kiriko defeated Survival Tobita with the Surgeon Slam (5:30).
3. Road To Rikidozan! Regardless Inherit The Virtuosity Of The Royal Road!: Yumehito Imanari & Fumihito Kihara defeated Crusher Takahashi & Osochin Aries when Imanari pinned Aries with the Samson Clutch (15:20).
4. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Union Pro – Judo Jacket Match: Cherry defeated Gorikiko with a Collar Choke (7:20).
5. You’ve Got Mail!: Miyako Matsumoto defeated Tigers Mask with Manmamiya Z (14:48).
6. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Union Pro – 6-Man Elimination Tag Match: Ken Ohka, Shota & Osamu Namiguchi defeated Shuji Ishikawa, Seiya Morohashi & Mitomi Masayuki (22:18).
6a. Mitomi Masayuki eliminated Shota with the SENNIN-GIRI (6:31).
6b. Osamu Namiguchi eliminated Mitomi Masayuki with the Lana Killer-N (7:20).
6c. Ken Ohka eliminated Shuji Ishikawa and Osamu Namiguchi by Ring Out (14:32).
6d. Ken Ohka eliminated Seiya Morohashi with the Spear Of Flame (22:18).

Ganbare☆Wrestling scored a huge victory over Union proving that they are a company to be taken seriously. Ken Ohka’s plan to bombard Osamu Namiguchi with messages uring him to join his team worked out as his nemesis joined the Ganpuro side in the 6-Man Tag Elimination main event. Ohka wound up as the last man standing, pinning Seiya Morohashi to win the match. Naomi Susan told him afterwards not to get carried away that Ganpuro beat Union once. She challenged Ohka to face Shuji Ishikawa in Union on 18th May to settle the feud.

Ohka announced the creation of the Ganbare☆Martial Arts Open Tournament to be held on 1st May. He wants Ganpuro to be a major sports league not just for wrestling but for martial arts as well. Richard Burn showed up to apply for the tournament and said he would quit Union to fight here.

The Judo Jacket Match between Cherry and Gorikiko was going to be so violent that Ganpuro did not want to hold it in front of a live audience. When they could not find another building to host the bout it had to go to the TEC Office in Shinjuku for permission. The two women fought around the building and Cherry eventually choked out Gorikiko to win.

Dr. Kiriko defeated Survival Tobita and afterwards tried to murder him with the same injection he used to put down J-Soul Pandita III. However the injection did not work because Tobita is human and thus immune to the poison. Tobita swore he will become a doctor and figure out a way to defeat Kiriko.

He also requested anyone who knows his whereabouts to email Yumehito Imanari.

Immediately after revealing his email address, Imanari got a message from Tigers Mask asking for a booking. Joshi wrestler Miyako Matsumoto then suddenly appeared next to Imanari also asking to be booked. Believing this to be fate, Ohka made Tigers Mask Vs Miyamo Matsumoto for the show.
