1. Special Video Director’s Cut Match: Aoi Ishibashi defeated Manami Kanda with the Just Facelock (6:03). (Special Referee/Director: Shibata)
2. Special Single Match: GENTARO defeated Yumehito Imanari with a Back Drop (8:39).
3. Special Beer Garden Match: J-Soul Pandita III IV defeated Mr. Judo by Knockout (6:00).
4. Special Tag Team Match: Osamu Namiguchi & Fumihito Kihara defeated Ken Ohka & Tiger Bed Scene when Namiguchi submitted Scene with a Crab Hold (10:59).

Shota had to be pulled from the show after fracturing his right clavicle in a bicycle accident during the week. Fumihito Kihara replaced him in the main event. After the match Osamu Namiguchi admitted to Ken Ohka that he had fun wrestling today. They were then interrupted by former WNC wrestlers Yuji Kito & Yoshihiro Horaguchi. They both came asking for a match. Ohka decided they will face himself and Tiger Bed Scene on 26th August.

The next generation J-Soul Pandita III is even more violent than the last one. It destroyed Mr. Judo and emerged with Judo’s mask much like how Atlantis did when he defeated Robin Mask in Kinnikuman. When he was unmasked Judo turned out to be (surprise, surprise) Atsushi Maruyama. He explained that when he was in elementary school he was inspired to take up Judo by Seiji Sakaguchi. He apologised for disguising himself and promised not to return yadda, yadda, yadda. You know the deal by now.

GENTARO was Yumehito Imanari’s mystery opponent and he beat him with a Back Drop. Imanari was inspired by GENTARO and asked him if he could use the Back Drop too. GENTARO later gave some encouragement to Imanari, telling him he is a pro wrestler no matter what anyone says.

Unsurprisingly, Shibata used his role as referee and cameraman for the joshi match to film upskirt shots of Aoi Ishibashi and Manami Kanda as they wrestled. Ishibashi gave him a Head Kick for his troubles and after the match complained about being sexually harrassed. Ken Ohka decided that Ishibashi will face Shibata on 26th August and this time Kanda will be the referee/director/camerawoman.

With Ibushi still out of action, Gota Ihashi gets to take his place in one of the matches meant to celebrate Ibushi’s 10th Anniversary. It will be a Kickboxing match against Michael Nakazawa. For Nakazawa’s sake it’s a good thing Ibushi won’t be involved in it now. Painful things tend to happen to Nakazawa whenever he fights Ibushi.

Ganbare☆Wrestling does not want to be left out of Beer Garden week so they will be holding their own show. With blackjack. And hookers.

Another J-Soul Pandita has been brought into captivity for Ganpuro. It’s name is probably just supposed to be J-Soul Pandita IV but the website has it as J-Soul Pandita III IV. I hope it is the latter just for how absurd that name is.

Yumehito Imanari has invited Ganpuro’s fans to come up with suggestions for his opponent.

1. Crusher Takahashi defeated Survival Tobita with a Texas Cloverleaf (6:29).
2. Yumehito Imanari Vs Bad Tension TAMAGAWA ended in a Double KO (13:36).
3. Osamu Namiguchi & Kazuhiko Ogasawara defeated Ken Ohka & Shota when Namiguchi pinned Shota with the Lanakira-N (?:??)

One month away from their final battle and final match in Ganbare☆Wrestling, Ken Ohka and Osamu Namiguchi faced off again in tag team action. Namiguchi & Kazuhiko Ogasawara proved too strong for Ohka & Shota in the main event. Namiguchi told Ohka he still had to pay his dues. He called Ganpuro a waste organisation and he is ready to throw it out onto the scrapheap. Ohka said he is serious when it comes to Ganpuro and he dreams the promotion will become a major organisation. He is absolutely sure he will not lose to Namiguchi.

Shota was the ring announcer and time keeper for the show, which explains the lack of detail with some of the results.

Yumehito Imanari and Bad Tension TAMAGAWA fought their hearts out until their bodies just could not take it anymore. The match ended when they were trading Elbow Strikes while both yelling “I will do my best! Ganbare!” until the point of collapse.

When we last saw Survival Tobita he was given instructions by Ken Ohka to transform himself into a cyborg. He was only able to partially through the process and appeared today with a lot of skin missing from his upper body. One of his eyes, his brain and his internal organs were all exposed. Crusher Takahashi defeated the work in progress cyborg and shook his hand after the match. He didn’t want to hug him though.

The Ganbare☆Idol of the show is Metropoli-chan V, an underground idol who also has a career as a nurse.

J-Soul Pandita III appeared from the wild to attack Wonder Man at the beginning of the show. Who’s Wonder Man you ask? Beats me.

Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi continue on their quest to win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. This time they enlisted the services of joshi monster Aja Kong to combat the size advantage the champions have thanks to Akebono.

*Shota wins the G3 Climax.
7. Osamu Namiguchi & Bad Tension TAMAGAWA defeated Ken Ohka & Shota when TAMAGAWA pinned Shota with the BT Bomber (11:52).

Today’s Ganbare☆Pro show revolved around the G3 Climax, a one day round robin tournament. It was originally supposed to be a 3 person competition between Tomohiro Otani, Shota and Gorikiko. Instead it became a 4 person tournament with Yumehito Imanari filling the extra spot. Shota won all three of his matches and was crowned the G3 Climax winner.

The celebration ceremony with him and Ken Ohka was interrupted by Osamu Namiguchi and the newly renamed Bad Tension TAMAGAWA, who challenged them to an impromptu tag match. TAMAGAWA’s new mean streak proved too much for a tired Shota and the invaders scored another victory over Ganpuro. TAMAGAWA talked down the G3 Climax tournament and told the Ganbare wrestlers they are all losers. If they wanted to be winners, they should join him and Namiguchi. When they left Ohka gave his motivation speech and brought out Shota’s prize for winning the G3, a Tokyo Sports Award trophy Ohka received back in 2006.

1. Kotaro Nasu defeated Fumihito Kihara with a Facelock (3:02).
2. Tanomusaku Toba defeated Yumehito Imanari by Knockout with a Straight Right (5:50).
3. Osamu Namiguchi & Kazuhiko Ogasawara defeated Shinichiro Tominaga & Tomohiro Otani when Namiguchi pinned Otani with the Lanakila-N (9:30).
4. Ken Ohka defeated Ganbare Tamagawa with the Flame Spear (14:10).

Even in defeat, Ganbare Tamagawa has been inspired by Ken Ohka to become stronger. Osamu Namiguchi & Kazuhiko Ogasawara confronted the two wrestlers after their match but was then cut off by Tanomusaku Toba. Toba challenged Ogasawara to a match and offered a handshake. Ogasawara accepted both. Tamagawa however charged at Namiguchi and the two had to be pulled apart. Both Toba Vs Ogasawara and Tamagawa Vs Namiguchi will take place in Saitama on 21st July.

Suddenly, Survival Tobita made a dramatic entrance. He does not take kindly to Ganbare☆Pro coming into his territory. Ohka and Yumehito Imanari challenged Tobita to a tag team match on 21/7. Tobita accepted and said his partner will be a Phantom!

Tomohiro Otani, the failed SMASH trainee was the person with the amateur wrestling background chosen to team with Shinichiro Tominaga to take on Osamu Namiguchi & Kazuhiko Ogasawara. Unfortunately for Otani, Namiguchi was too strong for him.

Lady Steel appeared demanding to know why she wasn’t booked for the show. She wants to be the Cinderella of Ganbare☆Wrestling and will beat anyone for the title. Ken Ohka gave her a new name, Gorikiko (meaning “Herculean Strength Steel”) and announced she will face Tsukasa Fujimoto on 21/7.

Even though Yumehito Imanari was knocked out, he told Tanomusaku Toba after their match that he had fun and wanted to wrestle him one more time. He even began to cry when he asked for the rematch.

Fumihito Kihara injured his left elbow during the opener.

Shota Vs Crusher Takahashi will happen at the 21/7 event.

4. Ken Ohka Vs Ganbare Tamagawa

The main event was made when Ganbare Tamagawa approached Ken Ohka at the Ganbare☆Pro ticket stand at Sunday’s DDT show. Tamagawa said he didn’t join Ohka’s promotion to put in a half-baked effort and instead wanted to become strong and start winning matches. Ohka said he will teach him how to be strong and suggested they should wrestle each other.

Ohka then had a confrontation with Osamu Namiguchi. Osamu said his amateur wrestling skill is going to waste against the Ganbare crew. Ohka said no one in the company trained in amateur wrestling so Osamu challenged him to find an amateur wrestler to fight himself and Kazuhiko Ogasawara. Ohka said he will and the person he finds will team with Shinichiro Tominaga.

Ganbare☆Pro will hold their first show in Saitama on 21st July.

Emi Sakura defeated DJ Nira with a La Magistral Cradle (12:06).
*Emi Sakura wins DJ Nira’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.

One of the active Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contracts changed hands outside of DDT for the first time. Emi Sakura defeated DJ Nira in the main event of yesterday’s Gatoh Move show in Ichigaya, the same building where Ganbare☆Wrestling held their event the day before. Masa Takanashi was there as the referee for the no time limit main event while Tetsuya Endo and Tokyo Women’s Wrestling manager Tetsuya Koda was also in attendence (Koda was the person who broke the news on DDT’s website). Nira fought his hardest, targeting Sakura’s finger and hitting the DJ Time, but in the end Sakura rolled him up with La Magistral Cradle to win the match and take possession of his contract.
