1. Saki Akai & Makoto Oishi Vs Yoshiko & Toru Owashi
2. Keisuke Ishii & Soma Takao Vs Antonio Honda & Daisuke Sasaki
3. KUDO Vs Danshoku Dino
4. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Battle Royal: Masa Takanashi (c) Vs X
5. KO-D Tag Team Titles – 3 Way Match: Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto (c) Vs Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega Vs Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo
6. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie

Shigehiro Irie gets his rematch with HARASHIMA from last year’s second Sumo Hall main event. This time Irie is the challenger and HARASHIMA is dealing with now just having two title belts instead of three.

DDT rookies Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo achieved a remarkable result yesterday, wrestling Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega to a 30 minute draw. Both teams were rewarded with a KO-D Tag Team Title shot but it will be in a 3 Way Match against the champions. Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto can prove their dominance of the tag team division even more by beating two teams at once.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO CIRCUIT 2013 ROUND 1”, 18/01/2014
Tokyo BASEMENT MON☆STAR

1. Shoko Nakajima Vs Ayumi Takada
2. Nonoko Vs Yuka Sakazaki
3. Miyu Yamashita Vs KANNA

Miyu Yamashita and KANNA have their first proper match together after a year of facing each other in exhibition bouts. KANNA has yet to beat Yamashita.

Chikage Kiba is unable to wrestle because she has a high school exam on the day of the show.

DDT “GALAXY EXPLOSION IN NAGOYA 2014”, 02/02/2014
Nagoya Telepia Hall

1. DDT Extreme Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Keisuke Ishii

HARASHIMA’s other title will be defended against Keisuke Ishii. HARASHIMA’s DDT Extreme Title defences have been a wild departure from how he usually wrestles but Ishii seems to be a fairly normal wrestler. Will we get a more traditional stipulation or will HARASHIMA or Ishii show some imagination with their match choice.

UNION “DEMON UNION 2014”, 11/02/2014
Yokohama Radiant Hall

1. Shuji Ishikawa Vs Richard Burn

Union returns to the Pro Wrestling Vs Martial Arts match up that built the company when it was brought back to life in 2005. But I do not expect Shuji Ishikawa and Richard Burn to have such a heated feud that they will eventually fight in a ring filled with scorpions.

1. Soma Takao defeated Akito with the Sorarina (7:20).
2. Kyushu Selection Army Vs DDT Sekigun – All Out War: Kota Ibushi, Yuto Aijima & Azul Dragon defeated Masa Takanashi, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Michael Nakazawa when Ibushi pinned Nakazawa with the Sit Down Last Ride (12:18).
3. Antonio Honda defeated Batten Tamagawa with the Diving Fist Drop (7:45).
4. 3 Vs 2 Handicap Match: Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Maki Ito defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi when Oishi pinned Takagi after Ito used the Poison Mist (11:44).
5. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Yukio Sakaguchi, MIKAMI & Tetsuya Endo defeated HARASHIMA (c), KUDO & Yasu Urano by Referee Stoppage when Sakaguchi used the Sleeper Hold on HARASHIMA (13:50).
*Yukio Sakaguchi becomes the 978th champion.
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto (c) defeated Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie when Miyamoto pinned Ishii with the Pivot Fire Thunder (13:26).
*V6 For Yankii Ni Cho Kenju.

The defences just keep on coming for the KO-D Tag Team Champions, this time with a victory over Team Dream Futures. After the match Yuko Miyamoto said that even though a certain newspaper didn’t give them an award this year, they have defended the championships well. Isami Kodaka welcomed many more challenges from Drift because they will beat them every time. Keisuke Ishii doesn’t see the funny side. Today was his 6th straight KO-D Tag Team Title match defeat (including the match where he and Irie lost the titles). He thought the experience gained in All Japan recently would help himbut instead he is left feeling very frustrated. However he will not give up and still wants to go after the KO-D Tag Titles and also the All Asia Tag Team Titles. Shigehiro Irie promised Ishii he will work hard and Soma Takao said he wants to get a Tag Title shot too.

Yukio Sakaguchi scored a major victory over HARASHIMA just over a week before they face off for the KO-D Openweight Title. Sakaguchi choked out the champion with a Sleeper Hold, forcing the referee to stop the match and award his team with the win. As a result, Sakaguchi also became the new Iron Man Heavymtalweight Champion, ending HARASHIMA’s DDT Triple Crown reign.

Sanshiro Takagi’s weird grudge with idol groups not called AKB48 returned with this 2-on-3 Handicap match. Takagi and Toru Owashi will soon reunite with Akebono to defend their KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles against Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Aja Kong. But today Takagi & Owashi faced Dino, Oishi and Maki Ito from the group LinQ. Ito’s wrestling debut was not pleasant. When she got into the ring with Takagi, she was given a Giant Swing while her group’s new song “Colourful Days” was playing over the speakers. She also was the victim of a backfired double team move involving her face being shoved into Dino’s exposed backside. Things were looking bleak until Oishi countered Takagi’s Sunflower Bomb into a Frankensteiner. Ito then suddenly spat Poison Mist into Takagi’s eyes, distracting him enough for Oishi to pin him afterwards.

Batten Tamgawa riled up the crowd with his Americanisms before his match with Antonio Honda by mocking the local food. Honda however was not buying it and wrestled the match trying to get Tamagawa to admit he actually eats the Japanese food he was making fun of. Honda succeeded and a defeated Tamagawa admitted he loves the food in Hakata. He apologised for pretending to be American and will move to the area next year.

Michael Nakazawa bragged to his Kyushu opponents about how cool Tokyo is before the DDT Vs Kyushu 6-Man Tag match. Naturally he was defeated.

*V5 for Yankii No Cho Kenji.
7. Union MAX Title Decision – Hardcore Match: Ivan Markov defeated Shuji Ishikawa with the Hanging Neck Bomb onto a chair (19:41).
*Ivan Markov becomes the 1st Union MAX Champion!

Union finally has its own championship. Unfortunately for them none of their own wrestlers is the champion. Russia’s Ivan Markov defeated Shuji Ishikawa in a Hardcore Match featuring plenty of chairs to become the first Union MAX Champion. Markov rubbed salt into the wounds after the match when he said Japan must be a country full of losers because he beat Isami Kodaka back in Russia and he just beat Shuji Ishikawa in Japan. He was then joined in the ring by Hiroshi Fukuda and MEN’S Teioh. They said that the best of Russia, the best of America and the best of Japan should come together to show a small company like Union what high level wrestling is like. Thus, World MEN’s Club was born. FUMA stepped up to be Markov’s first challenger.

Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto continue their KO-D Tag Team Title reign with a victory over Texas Tornado Broncos Tokyo. Miyamoto complimented MEN’S Teioh’s strength and Kodaka called him a 47 year old superman. They hope when they are his age in around fifteen years time they will be in as good shape as he is now.

Another championship was decided in Union today. Seiya Morohashi won the Aipoke World Title, probably the only current wrestling title created and sponsored by a porn company. Seiya Morohashi found himself bare-assed mid way through the match but turned it into his advantage by slamming his rear end into Mitmoi Masayuki (also bare-assed) to win the match. He then asked Idea Pocket Diva Minori Hatsune, “How was my ass?” She said it was “Quite cute.” Thinking about his latest defeat, Masayuki said he will try to grab the heart of Hatsune and if he can’t, he’ll try to grab her chest instead.

Richard Burn demolished Daichi Kazato with a Back Turn Kick he calls the Afterburn.

After pinning the champion in a 3 Way match, Sareee challenged Cherry to a Fly To Everywhere Title match in January.

KO-D Tag Team Titles – 3 Way Street Fight: Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto (c) defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Kazuki Hirata and HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano when Kodaka pinned Hirata with the Diving Double Knee Drop from the bicycle parking lot roof (20:08).
*V4 for Yankii Ni Cho Kenju.

Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto continue their domination of the DDT Tag Division, this time overcoming two teams in a DDT specialty Falls Count Anywhere match. The bout took place in the bicycle parking lot of the JR Musashi Koganei Station in Tokyo. Mats were placed on the ground to represent the “squared circle.” The vice president of the station was in attendence and he thanked the crowd of 300 people for coming to see the event.

The KO-D Tag Team Champions came out both dressed as Santa Claus. Kodaka, Sanshiro Takagi and Yasu Urano started off the match. Isami played the role of the referee when Urano held Takagi in a Hammerlock. Kodaka then put Urano in the same hold and Takagi then pretended to be the ref. Takagi put Kodaka in an STF but that was broken apart when Miyamoto hit Takagi with a padded baseball bat. Miyamoto brought out frisbees and threw them at his opponents while Urano took out a cracker, placed it in Kodaka’s mouth and set it off. Later on Kodaka brought out red spray paint and sprayed the Japanese character for “Merry Christmas” on Kazuki Hirata’s back. The champions also brought out concrete blocks to put on top of their opponents when they were lying on the ground. They then used other blocks to break them!

miyamoto-moonsault

Kodaka brought out tomatoes he purchased from a nearby store for a snack but Takagi appeared behind him and squashed an orange into his eyes. GENTARO suddenly appeared but it turns out he is a local and he was just shopping in the area. Takagi found a bicycle shop and cycled back into the match, running over Miyamoto and then Clotheslining HARASHIMA from the bike for a nearfall. The fighting returned to the section where it began except this time a house of chairs was set up. Takagi cycled towards Urano but Urano leapt out of the way leading Takagi to crash into the chairs. HARASHIMA followed up with the Somato and went for the pin but Kodaka & Miyamoto were there to break it up. The champions climbed onto the roof of the parking lot. Miyamoto Moonsaulted onto the gang below and Kodaka hit the Diving Double Knee Drop onto Hirata for the three count.

6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto (c) defeated Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega when Kodaka pinned Omega with the Rasengan (20:57).
*V3 for Yankii Ni Cho Kenju.

Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto made it clear they are the very best tag team in DDT right now after defeating the Golden Lovers to retain the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Their next defence will be in Hakata on 15th December. The champions pointed out that two wrestlers from Union and 666 now currently dominate both the DDT and Big Japan tag team divisions and they should not be treated like fools because they come from “smelly indies”. Kodaka even asked for the title match to take place in the streets or the local shopping mall. Backstage, Kenny Omega said being defeated was the worst and both he and Kota Ibushi wrestled with injuries. He wants a Falls Count Anywhere rematch in DDT next year and even Ibushi said he wants revenge.

HARASHIMA defended the DDT Extreme Title in a Blindfold Hidden Breasts Match against Antonio Honda. The rule were both men had to wear blindfolds and bras. The first man to find and strip his opponent’s bra would win. Yukinori Matsui got caught in the crossfire a few times and narrowly avoided the Somato from the champion. HARASHIMA was able to knock down Honda with a High Kick and then flattened him with the Somato, pulling off Honda’s bra afterwards to win. HARASHIMA complimented Honda for coming up with a great match idea which taught him some valuable experience.

DJ Nira suddenly appeared with Daisuke Kiso by his side. He told HARASHIMA it would be either him or Kiso who will be the next challenger. He then gave Kiso the Rocket Punch and said he was the next challenger. The match is booked for the 23rd November show in Yokohama However, Guanchulo earlier won a Battle Royal that granted him a shot at HARASHIMA’s Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. It was agreed that he will face HARASHIMA in Sendai on the 24th. Kazuki Hirata snuck into the ring and attacked HARASHIMA. He rolled over HARASHIMA for a pin but only got a two count. He then fled the ring. If that wasn’t enough, Amon Tsurumi announced that HARASHIMA will defend his KO-D Openweight Title against Yukio Sakaguchi at the 23rd December Korakuen Hall show. HARASHIMA offered a handshake to Sakaguchi but he gave him a fist bump instead.

Speaking of Sakaguchi, he knocked out Shigehiro Irie with a Knee Strike to the face during their tag team match. Irie actually kicked out of the pin but was too groggy to stand up so the referee called for the match to end. A stretcher was brought out but Irie was helped out to the locker room by Keisuke Ishii and Soma Takao instead. Irie had no idea what happened and didn’t know the match was over.

Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi have found the perfect partner to go after the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. That wrestler is Aja Kong! The trio earned a title shot by beating two thirds of the champs and Kazuki Hirata. Dino said they are all ready to bukkake on the grand champion Akebono.

Saki Akai will return for her third wrestling match at the 23/12 Korakuen show.

Masa Takanashi will be holding a special 10th Anniversary show in Edogawa on 17th December. Shuji Ishikawa, Kazuhiro Tamura, Emi Sakura and the UMA Corps will all appear on the show.

6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto (c) Vs Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega believes that when the Golden Lovers formed and won the KO-D Tag Team Titles in 2009 they were the best team in DDT. In 2010 they became legendary and he thinks they are still the best tag team not just in DDT but in the world. He acknowledged how popular Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto are but thinks they are not in the same league as himself and Ibushi.
