1. Meat Tavern Scramble Match: MIKAMI, Masa Takanashi & Daisuke Sasaki defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Kazuki Hirata when MIKAMI pinned Hirata with a School Boy (7:18).
2. HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Akito defeated Gota Ihashi, Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when HARASHIMA pinned Ihashi with the Somato (11:58).
3. Antonio Honda, Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo defeated Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Shunma Katsumata when Honda pinned Katsumata with the Diving Fist Drop (14:02).
4. Kenny Omega defeated Hiroshi Fukuda with the Croyt’s Wrath (7:55).
5. Kota Ibushi defeated Soma Takao with the Sit Down Last Ride (10:55).
6. Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie defeated KUDO & Yukio Sakaguchi when Ishii pinned Sakaguchi with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (16:42).

If you’re Keisuke Ishii you don’t have to wait for any milestones to celebrate the anniversary of your debut match. Well, there was another reason. Ishii last booked his own show two and a half years ago in the same building and he wanted to show how strong he has become since then. In the main event Ishii teamed with his Drift partner Shigehiro Irie and scored a big victory over KUDO & Yukio Sakaguchi. Ishii himself got the pin on Sakaguchi.

Soma Takao told Kota Ibushi he wanted another singles match after Ibushi beat him.

Hiroshi Fukuda pointed out that Kenny Omega used to wrestle in All Japan, the company he will soon be working for. So he wanted the two of them to show everyone a major battle worthy of the promotion. Fukuda later tried to distract Omega by singing Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”. Omega made him shut up with the STOP! Enzuigiri and then pinned him with the Croyt’s Wrath.

Due to some sort of contest that took place at the beginning of the show, Kazuki Hirata and MIKAMI both got to make rules for the Meat Tavern Scramble match. Hirata wanted music to play during the match so he could dance to it. MIKAMI wanted to turn the match into a 3 Vs 2 Handicap bout with him, Masa Takanashi & Daisuke Sasaki against Hirata & Sanshiro Takagi. MIKAMI was able to counter Hirata’s Viagra Driver into a School Boy for the win.

Hikaru Sato is not particularly worried about his upcoming Union MAX Title defence against Shuji Ishikawa. In fact, he even forgot it is going to happen! Regardless he is confident he has the skills to beat Ishikawa. He also looks down on Ishikawa for wasting his time wrestling in beaches when he should be training for the title match.

Maskman X is the temporary name I am using for Union’s new masked wrestler. His official name will be revealed at some point before the show.

Not only is the main event death match going to involved Barbed Wire Boards but every wrestler involved in the match will bring their own personal weapon with them too. I know Mio Shirai has been using a Signal Wand in her Pro Wrestling WAVE matches lately but that seems a bit tame for a match like this.

An update on the current whereabouts of the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship over in Osaka Pro. Miyuji Matsuyama lost the belt to Ebessan on 1st March in a 3 Way match that also involved Miracleman. Ebessan then lost the title to Kanjyuro Matsuyama. I’ll let the Osaka Holiday Paradise site explain what happened:

“After the show, Ebessan suffered what apparently was a stroke near the goods shop. Kanjyuro went over to deliver a heart massage to his fellow Unique Gundan member and managed to become the 888th Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion.”

Earlier today, Tigers Mask pinned Kanyuro in the main event 3 Way match also involving Atsushi Kotoge to become the 889th and latest Iron Man champion. If he is still champion on the 4th March, he will defend the belt against Antonio Honda when DDT shows up in Osaka for “DOTONBORI STORY 11”.

December 7, 2011

DDT “MAID CAFE PRO WRESTLING”, 10/12/2011
Fukuoka Meinohama Cafe

1. Sanshiro Takagi & Hikaru Sato Vs KUDO & Michael Nakazawa

The Falls Count Anywhere match that DDT is infamous for doing will next take place in a maid cafe. Sanshiro Takagi will be involved in the match and he has chosen Hikaru Sato to be his tag team partner. Sato accepted the offer to take part so he could wrestle in his maid outfit again. Takagi & Sato chose KUDO & Michael Nakazawa as their opponents because they wanted to fight a champion and a punching bag respectively.

There will be a lottery to choose who among the audience will be allowed sit inside the cafe while the match is taking place. This is being done because DDT will be paying the cafe for cleaning fees as well as any damage they cause during the match. The fans who do not win will still be able to watch from the outside.

4. Isami Kodaka 3 Match Trial: Isami Kodaka Vs Kengo Ohka, X & X
5. Shuji Ishikawa & Shigehiro Irie Vs Katsuhiko Nakajima & Mitsuhiro Kitamiya

There is some news about Union and its association with Russia’s Independent Wrestling Federation. The IWF will be sending over Ivan Markov and Bonnie to compete against Ken Ohka & Mio Shirai in a Inter-Gender Tag Team match. Union will continue its relationship with the IWF by having Mitsuya Nagai act as an agent to overlook negotiations between the two promotions. As a result of his new job, Mitsuya now refers to himself as Vladimir Nagai. Could this business relationship lead to a few Union wrestlers competing for IWF in Russia sometime next year?
