BASARA “BASARA 151 ~TAKAGARI 2~”, 07/03/2021

Champions versus challengers main event for both of the BASARA titles. Daichi Kazato is trying to get Takumi Tsukamoto’s attention for a Union MAX Title match. Yusuke Kubo made Isami Kodaka submit at the last show.

Hang on, I thought the Jacket Match was supposed to be Ryota Nakatsu’s thing. He’s the one who is good at it.

DDT “DAY DREAM BELIEVER 2021”, 14/03/2021
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Hideki Okatani Vs Toui Kojima
2. 4 Way Tag Match: HARASHIMA & Toru Owashi Vs Daisuke Sasaki & Mad Paulie Vs Konosuke Takeshita & MAO Vs Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya
3. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Top Of The Super Book 2021: Saki Akai Photo Book “Lip Hip Shake” (c), Saki Akai & Antonio Honda Vs The Young Bucks Autobiography “Killing The Business”, Danshoku Dieno & Keigo Nakamura
4. Junretsu Vs Eruption!: Jun Akiyama & Makoto Oishi Vs Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi
5. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Yusuke Okada
6. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Akito, Kazuki Hirata & Shota (c) Vs Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao & Yuji Hino
7. DDT Extreme Title: Shunma Katsumata (c) Vs Chris Brookes

The bad blood between Shunma Katsumata and Chris Brookes has come back to the fore. Brookes has hated Katsumata ever since Brookes got banned from Twitter for three weeks when he threatened Katsumata online. He got a DDT Extreme Title shot by telling the champion it would be a clean match with no cheating involved. It was immediately shown to be a lie the moment the match was confirmed. Now it’s up to Katsumata to decide what kind of match they should have. He will be in the middle of a Big Japan death match tournament when this bout happens so he’ll already be pretty beaten up.

Soma Takao is getting more annoyed because Akito keeps reminding him of Young Communication. If he pesters him enough maybe Soma will actually join the Young Communication Generation… Nah!

What is going on? Jun Akiyama hasn’t won a match in DDT since becoming the KO-D Openweight Champion. It doesn’t help that his next challenger Kazusada Higuchi is on fire right now. That Brain Claw is nasty looking and his hard head can take being thrown into the ring post with no problem.

I’m starting to get high hopes that the feud between Yuki Ueno and Yusuke Okada will have legs. Some good stuff between them so far.

The feud of the Spring is here, Saki Akai’s photobook against The Young Bucks book! If “Killing The Business” can pin “Lip Hip Shake” then it will become the 1,500th Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion!

ALL OUT will have disbanded by the time this show happens. This will be the first match Konosuke Takeshita and Yuki Iino will be opponents in unaffiliated from each other.

DDT “WRESTLING OKEHAZAMA 2021”, 19/03/2021

DDT “FRIENDSHIP, EFFORT, VICTORY IN NAGOYA”, 17/05/2015
Nagoya Nakamura Sports Center
1,009 Fans – Super No Vacancy

1. Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie defeated Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Shunma Katsumata when Ishii pinned Katsumata with the Kneel Kick (7:27).
2. Amon Tsurumi Cup Battle Royal: MIKAMI defeated Masa Takanashi with the 450 Splash (8:48).
Order Of Elimination: Suguru Miyatake, Kazunori Huzioka, Yukio Sakaguchi, Saki Akai, DJ Nira, Makoto Oishi, Masa Takanashi.
3. Antonio Honda, Konosuke Takeshita & Hiroshi Fukuda defeated Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata when Honda pinned Hirata with the Scorpion Death Drop (9:42).
4. Anytime, Anywhere Holder 3 Way Match: Daisuke Sasaki defeated KUDO and Kazusada Higuchi when Sasaki pinned KUDO with the Sasaki Huracanrana (11:38).
*Daisuke Sasaki wins KUDO’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.
5. Different Life ~Sound Of Impermanence~: Jinsei Shinzaki defeated Danshoku Jinsei with the Paradise Lock (11:38).
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi (c) defeated HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano when Okabayashi pinned Urano with the Golem Splash (19:25).
*V3 for Strong BJ.
7. DDT Extreme Title – Last Man Standing Match: Akito (c) defeated Shigehiro Irie with a Cross Heel Hook (29:27).
*V2 for Akito.

What has become quite possibly the most impressive DDT Extreme Title run continues as Akito survived a Last Man Standing challenge from Shigehiro Irie. With the 10 count beginning after every successful pin or submission, the two fought hard. So much so that the metal fillings used to hold the ring ropes broke after Irie hit the ropes hard. The two fought outside while the ring was repaired. Irie almost won after doing a Piledriver, Flying Sausage and Beast Bomber but Akito got up at 9. Akito got up at 9 again after another Beast Bomber followed by the Package Piledriver. The champion fought back by targeting Irie’s knee, striking it with a chair and locking in the Arm Clutch Figure Four Leglock. Irie managed to get up by 9 but one last Beast Bomber from him was countered into a Cross Heel Hook. Irie tapped and could not get back to his feet in time. Akito was proud to defend the title in his home of Nagoya and felt he was able to give a little back to the people with his performance. He claimed this match was not the end of the story between himself and Irie. It is just the beginning.

Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi continue their KO-D Tag Team Title reign after a victory over HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano. Despite HARASHIMA’s recent return to the top, he was cancelled out by Sekimoto and held back while Okabayashi finished off Urano. MIKAMI approached the champions after the match. He was granted a wish for winning the Amon Tsurumi Cup earlier in the night and he wanted to announce what it was. He wants a KO-D Tag Title shot and his partner will be Shuji Ishikawa! Sekimoto & Okabayashi are ready and waiting for the challenge.

Danshoku Jinsei was shaking with nerves as he began wrestling against Jinsei Shinzaki. However he gained enough confidence to use some of Shinzaki’s own moves against him, most notably the Rope Walk. Yukinori Matsui was knocked out by an unintentional Lip Lock and that allowed Makoto Oishi to interfere. He tried to shove Shinzaki’s face into Danshoku’s rear end but that backfired. Shinzaki then attacked Danshoku’s ass and forced him to submit to the Paradise Lock. After the match Shinzaki asked Dino to stop his Danshoku Life pilgrimmage. Dino said he would if he could get a kiss from him. Shinzaki reluctantly agreed to kiss him on the cheek but Oishi told him that tomorrow is Dino’s birthday so it should be on the lips. After being urged by everyone in the arena, Shinzaki kissed Dino on the mouth. Dino suddenly transformed back to normal and chased Suguru Miyatake around ringside. Oishi proclaimed that Danshoku Dino has returned from Hades and regained his sanity!

Daisuke Sasaki added another Right To Challenge Contract to his collection after pinning KUDO in the 3 Way Match. Sasaki now has 3 contracts and won’t stop until he has them all! The result of this has cancelled the original main event of the next Korakuen Hall show on 31st May. KUDO was supposed to cash in on that day to get his KO-D Openweight Title shot against either HARASHIMA or Kazusada Higuchi. Now the main event has been declared blank.

Yukinori Matsui got to wear the HIRATA GO glasses and join in with the dancing in Match #3. He Lariated everyone who tried to take them off him. After the match Sanshiro Takagi said he is very busy running two companies at once so T2Hide should recruit new members to take his place. An audition will take place on the 31/5 Korakuen Hall show.

The winner of the Amon Tsurumi Cup would be granted one wish for anything as long as it was in the GM Amon Tsurumi’s authority to grant it. Tsurumi’s Muscle employee Kazunori Huzioka was unexpectedly entered the match against his will. Yukio Sakaguchi ordered him to take off his jacket if he wouldn’t fight. Huzioka did so and revealed he was wearing a bra underneath. Sakaguchi then made him tap to a Sleeper Hold for an elimination. MIKAMI wound up winning the match and told Tsurumi he will ask for his wish when the time comes. That turned out to be the Tag Title challenge at the end of the show.

DDT “FRIENDSHIP, EFFORT, VICTORY IN NAGOYA”, 17/05/2015
Nagoya Nakamura Sports Center

1. Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie Vs Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Shunma Katsumata
2. Amon Tsurumi Cup Battle Royal: MIKAMI Vs Masa Takanashi Vs Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Makoto Oishi Vs Suguru Miyatake Vs Saki Akai Vs DJ Nira
3. Antonio Honda, Konosuke Takeshita & Hiroshi Fukuda Vs Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata
4. Anytime, Anywhere Holder 3 Way Match: KUDO Vs Kazusada Higuchi Vs Daisuke Sasaki
5. Different Life ~Sound Of Impermanence~: Danshoku Dino Vs Jinsei Shinzaki
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi (c) Vs HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano
7. DDT Extreme Title – Last Man Standing Match: Akito (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie

A high stakes 3 Way Match guarantees one Right To Challenge Contract will change hands. Daisuke Sasaki wants to have every contract for himself so he can have a Plan B, C, D and E if his eventual cash in fails. He currently has two in his possession but he risks losing one if KUDO or Kazusada Higuchi beat him. Speaking of those two, they are both just weeks away from cashing in their contracts. To lose it now would be catastrophic for that person.

Amon Tsurumi will be the judge for his own Battle Royal. He will pick the winner based on whoever best meets his standards, whatever they are.

UNION “KAZEKAORU UNION 2015”, 23/05/2015
Kitazawa Town Hall

Isami Kodaka has said he uses the Shawn Capture Hold because he is a fan of Zero1 wrestler Ikuto Hidaka. He has invited Hidaka over to Union for a match to find out who uses the move better. Also because it will be a good match and Kodaka hopes everyone will enjoy as much as he will.

4. KUDO & Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi
5. HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano Vs Antonio Honda & Hiroshi Fukuda
6. Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao Vs Kota Ibushi, Daisuke Sasaki & Suguru Miyatake

For those keeping track the current Right To Challenge Contracts holders are Daisuke Sasaki (he has two), DJ Nira, KUDO and Kazusada Higuchi.

DDT “ROAD TO RYOGOKU IN YAMAGATA ~DRAMATIC DREAM TAMAKON’NYAKU~”, 06/05/2015

3. Daisuke Sasaki Vs Ryota Nakatsu

5. Kota Ibushi & Suguru Miyatake Vs Antonio Honda & Konosuke Takeshita
6. HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Akito Vs KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masa Takanashi

With 5 contracts in play surely one of them can beat HARASHIMA to win the KO-D Openweight Title.

DDT “FRIENDSHIP, EFFORT, VICTORY IN NAGOYA”, 17/05/2015
Nagoya Nakamura Sports Center

1. Different Life ~Sound Of Impermanence~: Danshoku Dino Vs Jinsei Shinzaki
2. DDT Extreme Title – Last Man Standing Match: Akito (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie
3. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi (c) Vs HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano

We’re getting close to HARASHIMA holding a bunch of DDT championships at the same time again.

The Last Man Standing Match will be pinfall rules. The 10 count only begins after a wrestler is pinned for a three count or gives up from a submission hold.

For the past month Danshoku Dino has been on a pilgrimage to rediscover Danshoku Life. His journey has been relatively peaceful and without danger. But when Dino found out he will be facing Jinsei Shinzaki next his calm demeanour began to fade and he was left shaking in fear. This will be the first big test of his pilgrimage.

DDT “AUDIENCE 2015”, 31/05/2015
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs KUDO

If KUDO still has his Right To Challenge Contract he will cash in at this Korakuen Hall show.

Max Bump & Golden Union Cards, Upcoming Title Matches, Goodbye Teisen

April 22, 2015

DDT “MAX BUMP 2015”, 29/04/2015
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

0. Dark Match: Kazusada Higuchi & Kota Umeda Vs Ryota Nakatsu & Kouki Iwasaki
1. Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Shunma Katsumata
2. BOYZ Vs YaroZ Final Match: Makoto Oishi, Akito, Soma Takao & Kazuki Hirata Vs Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & X

5. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi (c) Vs Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie
6. KO-D Openweight Title: Kota Ibushi (c) Vs HARASHIMA

So two of the wrestlers fighting over the last Right To Challenge Contract already have contracts. That’s a little unfair. I assume Hiroshi Fukuda’s and Yasu Urano’s contracts will be safe if they are just eliminated by ring out.

UNION “GOLDEN UNION 2015”, 29/04/2015

Yamagata Big Wing

1. Kota Ibushi & Suguru Miyatake Vs Antonio Honda & Konosuke Takeshita
2. HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Akito Vs KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masa Takanashi

I’m assuming the KO-D Openweight Champion, if it’s either Kota Ibushi or HARASHIMA will be on all three shows on the week beginning 4th May. Maybe a Right To Challenge cash in can take place here?

DDT “FRIENDSHIP, EFFORT, VICTORY IN NAGOYA”, 17/05/2015
Nagoya Nakamura Sports Center

1. DDT Extreme Title: Akito (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie

Akito has picked Shigehiro Irie to be the next challenger for the DDT Extreme Title. It means a lot for Irie to get the title shot in Nagoya where he wrestled for several years before joining DDT.

DDT “ROAD TO RYOGOKU IN SAPPORO ~DRAMATIC DREAM CLOCK TOWER~”, 24/05/2015
Sapporo Teisen Hall

1. KO-D Openweight Title: Kota Ibushi (c) Vs Kazusada Higuchi

The DNA stand out Kazusada Higuchi has made it public that he will cash in his Right To Challenge Contract in his home prefecture of Hokkaido. All he has to do is not lose it until then. He’s on the right track because he has yet to drop a fall in his young pro wrestling career.

Saki Akai and Tomoya will wrestle on the show.

DDT “THANK YOU TEISEN! GOODBYE TEISEN! ~WITH LOVE AND GRATITUDE FROM DDT~”, 24/05/2015
Sapporo Teisen Hall

1. Thank You Teisen! Goodbye Teisen! Special Match: X Vs X

Sapporo Teisen Hall will be closing down in June. The venue has been a popular destination for indie wrestling with DDT and Big Japan among others hosting shows whenever they were in Sapporo. Apparently Big Japan will hold the final wrestling show in the building but before that DDT will say goodbye with a double show in May.
