BASARA put together “HIROSHI AID” to help out Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi while he is still recovering from his dislocated shoulder. Since this was the first un-numbered BASARA show, nobody knew what to expect. The main event was a Royal Rumble to determine the next Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi will be while the current one is out of action. Most of the other wrestlers on the show took part resembling one of the many different costumes Hiroshi has worn in his career and mimicking his spots. Takumi Tsukamoto even came out as the rookie era Hiroshi Fukuda to spice things up a bit. FUMA did his own twist of the gimmick and rocked out to “LA Metal”. One notable absence was Yusuke Kubo. Instead, his place was taken by his old Goro Jr. gimmick and he eliminated most of the field with Spinning Back Punches. SAGAT was the last Hiroshi standing but the real Hiroshi did not want to pass the gimmick over to him. SAGAT knows in his heart he isn’t Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, he is SAGAT. There is only one real Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and this Rumble was only done for his entertainment! Isami Kodaka saw the funny side and he wished Hiroshi well until he returns to BASARA. Hiroshi said this is his goodbye until 3rd November. That isn’t the date of his return match, he’ll just be at the next show.

In the semi-main event, Isami Kodaka put a stop to Ryuichi Sekine’s wave of momentum heading into their Union MAX Title match. Kodaka countered the Let’s Combine into a Frankensteiner to get the three count. Kodaka yelled at Sekine after the match to go stand at the blue corner instead of the neutral corner because he is the challenger. He then said he knows Sekine inside out and that means Sekine can’t beat him. Sekine had to tell himself that Kodaka is wrong. He has to hit, kick and do whatever he can to move forward and win the title because nothing is stupid when he puts his mind to it.

1. Maho Kurone defeated Marika Kobashi with the Ouroboros (5:56).
2. Maki Itoh & Mizuki defeated Yuna Manase & Yuki Kamifuku when Mizuki pinned Kamifuku with a Double Stomp (8:27).
3. Saki-sama defeated Nodoka-oneesan with the Modified Foot Choke (7:15).
4. Nonoko defeated Shoko Nakajima with the Pai Fly Flow (10:24).
5. Rika Tatsumi, Yuka Sakazaki & Yuu defeated Reika Saiki, Miyu Yamashita & Azusa Takigawa when Tatsumi pinned Sakazaki with the Missile Hips (14:12).

Rika Tatsumi was feeling nervous about today’s main event but she now has plenty to be pleased about. She scored the pinfall to win the match for her team. She knows she is able to win matches but after today’s victory she is now in a new world of possibility. That includes a possible match with Reika Saiki for the TOKYO Princess Title. She had a face off with the champion at the end of the show so she definitely has Saiki’s attention.

Nonoko is getting her groove back. Now that her time in Konkatsu-gun is behind her, Nonoko is winning matches again. Today she scored a big victory over Shoko Nakajima. Now she thinks she is deserving of a championship match. Nakajima is willing to give her a TOKYO Princess Tag Team Title match but Nonoko needs to find a tag partner. Nonoko revealed that she already has one, it’s her former rival Yuna Manase! When those two were feuding they discovered they were similar after all and could make a good team together. They already have a team name, they are the Super Milk Combination and they get their title match on 23rd November!

Now that she is on her own, Saki-sama is stirring up trouble between other girls in the roster. After beating Nodoka-oneesan, Saki wondered out loud who is the weakest wrestler in Tokyo Joshi Pro, Nodoka or Azusa Takigawa. Saki wants the two of them to face off at the next show to find out the answer. Takigawa realises she loses a lot but she doesn’t like admitting it. Nodoka doesn’t want to lose at all especially against Takigawa. Saki is looking forward to seeing the low level match when it happens.

The Itoh Respect Army called upon their “manager” Tetsuya Koda to solve their latest problem. Maki Itoh has gone without proper entrance music for months now and is wondering how come Koda hasn’t done anything about it yet. Koda complained that he shouldn’t be part of the Itoh Respect Army because he doesn’t respect anything! He only wears the Manager t-shirt because Itoh forces him to. However he realises that Itoh puts her trust in him and a good person does not betray that trust, so he will accept the Manager role. Koda was then surprised to learn that Itoh will be releasing a new music CD on 4th January anyway.

American wrestler Veda Scott will be at the “TOKYO JOSHI PRO ’18” show in Korakuen Hall on 4th January. She is a former Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion and has been given the nickname “Eyeglass Wrestler” by Tokyo Joshi. She will also be wrestling at the Osaka show on 7th January.

Colt Cabana sent a message at “DDT SPECIAL 2017” challenging the winner of Konosuke Takeshita Vs Dino to put the belt on the line against him. Cabana gets his shot against Takeshita on Christmas Eve.

An update about Dai Suzuki was posted on the DDT website two days ago. The injury he suffered at “DNA 37” turned out to be a partially fractured left knee. He will be out of action with no prediction of a return date yet.

Some new directions are being taken among the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster after the last show. Saki-sama is now on her own after her maid Martha found her parents and left to be with them. Nonoko & Azusa Takigawa have split up and are going their separate ways to both become stronger. Whoever gets the winning fall in the main event will probably declare themselves the No. 1 Contender for the TOKYO Princess Title. Plus now we have the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles so the existing teams will be climbing for a shot at the belts too.

The vacant KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles are up for grabs. ALL OUT are in the match because they were supposed to get a title shot against Shuten-dōji until KUDO got injured. DAMNATION was chosen to be the other team but their line-up is being kept secret for now. The group currently has four members but some of them are pretty busy right now. Daisuke Sasaki has his hands full with championships and other people’s money. Shuji Ishikawa is currently wrestling in other promotions. There has been something building between DAMNATION and Nobuhiro Shimatani lately. The rookie was tricked into thinking he was joining the group during the Seijo Hall show earlier this month but it was just a mind game to beat him up. He has also been positioned as their ringside attendant for their matches. Could he become a new member?

Konosuke Takeshita entered the 58th Kanto Student Bodybuilding Championships this past weekend. He finished in 12th place and qualified for the 52nd All Japan Student Bodybuilding Championships happening later this year. However after discussing the event with his doctor, Takeshita decided to withdraw from the competition. The preparation for the Kanto event took a toll on his body and continuing on that path would also interfere with his pro wrestling schedule. So Takeshita will put his focus on wrestling from now on.

However DDT has a show on the same day so even if Sasaki wanted to come over he won’t be able to. Instead, Sasaki has promised to send over a hired assassin to keep Ohka busy. It won’t be a DAMNATION wrestler because they will also be at the DDT show. Ohka accepts the challenge, thinking if he beats this mystery opponent it will make him the No. 1 Contender for the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title.

More Ganbare gimmicks are being created to encourage sales of Ganbare The Great masks. Ganpuro staff pretty much said that Yukihiro Abe and Ultraman Robin are going to be Ganbare The Akihabara & Ganbare The Robin.

The appearance of Andre The Giant Panda in Big Japan has spurred Ganpuro to bring back J-Soul Pandita III IV. The creature has not wrestled in over a year.

2. New And Old Masked Women Showdown!: Bambi defeated HARUKAZE with the Shining Wizard (6:26).
3. Dai Suzuki Ganbare☆Big Match: Chikara defeated Dai Suzuki with a Reverse Horizontal Chop (6:23).
4. There Is No Choice But To Do! There Is No Choice But To Die! Ganbare The Army Appears!: Ganbare The Great & Ganbare The Shooter defeated GENTARO & Shinichiro Tominaga when Shooter submitted Tominaga with the Rope Assisted Ninja Clutch (12:23).
5. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs New York Head Hunters: KENSO, KAZMA SAKAMOTO & Hollywood GOTA defeated Ken Ohka, Yukihiro Abe & Yumehito Imanari when GOTA pinned Imanari with the Apollo 13 (10:52).

Well you know something, brother, Hollywood GOTA came out dressed exactly like you would expect, dude. He came out to “Real American” and ran wild on the Ganbare☆Wrestling team. Yumehito Imanari got a second wind when Bambi came out to keep an eye on the New York Head Hunters. But GOTA cut him down with a Lariat and pinned him with the Moonsault, which is now called Apollo 13. After the match GOTA said he is 100 times bigger than Hulk Hogan and all three Head Hunters will make it to the top of the Ganbare☆Climax. After they left, Ken Ohka said Hogan is 1,000 times cooler than GOTA. He motivated Imanari and Yukihiro Abe for the Ganbare☆Climax. They will be wrestling in matches every day and they will be strong in spirit because they are Japanese. He doesn’t want Ganpuro to lose to a group of “foreigners” like the New York Head Hunters. Imanari promised to watch all of the G1 CLIMAX tournaments to prepare himself.

Ganbare The Shooter thinks a lot like Ganbare The Great. Shooter cheated to win their tag match by throwing Shinichiro Tominaga into an exposed turnbuckle. Shooter then placed his feet on the ropes for leverage during the pin. Great scolded Shooter for how he won. Not because he cheated but because he didn’t put his feet on the ropes properly! Great and also GENTARO then showed Shooter how to hook the ropes right.

Dai Suzuki swears he is trying his best but after 4 years of wrestling he is running out of excuses for losing so much. His career is on the line in the DNA 4 Vs 1 Handicap Match on 4th July. He promises he will do his best and not retire!

HARUKAZE had no answer for Bambi’s wrestling ability. As much as she tried to counter her moves, the gap in experience was just too big to overcome. HARUKAZE’s next match will be against Saori Anou on 8th July.

The entrants for the three day Ganbare☆Climax tournament in August are Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari, Yukihiro Abe, Shinichiro Tominaga, Chikara, Shinichiro Wakita, KENSO, KAZMA SAKAMOTO, Hollywood GOTA, Shuichiro Katsumura, Takufumi Ito, Tanomusaku Toba, GENTARO, Ben McCoy, Dave Crist and Kendo Kashin. To everyone’s surprise, Kashin was in the building! He came to challenge Ohka to a 5 Vs 5 match between Ganpuro and NEW to take place at DDT’s Sumo Hall show on 20th August! Ohka told Kashin he has no power to make that match and he should talk to Sanshiro Takagi about it instead.

Being the champion is doing wonders for Yuka Sakazaki and she knows it. Today was her first match since winning the TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title and Sakazaki discovered how much power she has gained since then. The feeling is wonderful! Sakazaki now knows how magical the title belt is and has become even more determined to keep it.

1. Yumehito Vs “X”: Gota Ihashi defeated Yumehito Imanari with the Moonsault (6:07).
2. Decisive Battle! Osaka’s Tiger Vs Chiba’s Queen: Bambi defeated Atsushi Maruyama with an Automatic Falling Moonsault (8:59).
3. Mixed Martial Arts Warfare ~ Kickboxing Vs Karate Chop: Tanomusaku Toba defeated Chikara by KO with a Straight Right (3R 2:36).
4. Great COSMOS 2017: Ganbare The Great & Takafumi Ito defeated Shuichiro Katsumura & Yukihiro Abe when Ito pinned Abe with a German Suplex (16:46).
5. GANPRO SUPERSTAR WAR!!: Kenso Ohka & KAZMA SAKAMOTO defeated Ken Ohka & Shinichiro Tominaga when SAKAMOTO pinned Tominaga with the Knee Kick (11:37).

In the main event Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling were victorious again over the usual Ganbare☆Wrestling. They weren’t satisfied with the result alone so they continued to attack after the match. Gota Ihashi came to the rescue and ran them off. Ihashi said he is tired of Shin Ganpuro’s dirty tactics and declared war on them! Ken Ohka asked him to team up against Kenso Ohka & KAZMA SAKAMOTO at Shin-Kiba 1st RING on 31st May.

Shuichiro Katsumura is absolutely determined to beat Takafumi Ito. No matter how many times he loses to him, no matter how tired the audience is of seeing them fight, he will not quit until he beats him. Katsumura then demanded a singles match on 31st May. Ganbare The Great thought the challenge was aimed at him so he accepted it. Both Katsumura and Ito were confused but Ganbare rallied the fans behind him to get the match. Katsumura didn’t want to give in but had to when Ganbare began to lie down and act like he was going to die. That made Katsumura change his mind and accept the match.

Atsushi Maruyama armed himself with cardboard to battle Bambi and her whip. He convinced Daisuke Kiso to stop Bambi from using her whip while he got to Power Bomb her onto the cardboard. He then put Bambi in the Tree Of Woe position against the corner. Kiso stepped in again, this time to confront Maruyama for using cardboard as a foreign object. Kiso wound up reversing an Irish Whip and threw Maruyama into Bambi. Maruyama fell down and Bambi collapsed on top of him for the pinfall.

Yumehito Imanari is bad at putting clues together. He came to the conclusion that his opponent would be Yuna Manase from Tokyo Joshi Pro. It wasn’t her. Instead he got Gota Ihashi! Imanari wanted someone chubby but not that chubby! Still, Imanari got some kicks out of the match and when he grabbed Ihashi’s abdomen he exclaimed it felt just like Bambi’s. Ihashi won the match and was approached by Shin Ganpuro. They tempted him with dreams of following in Shinsuke Nakamura’s footsteps and becoming the next big global Japanese star. Ihashi laughed them off and asked if either of them were wrestling in England like he was a few months ago, or like Nakamura is right now. They couldn’t answer him so Ihashi rejected their offer to join Shin Ganpuro.

The first ever Ganbare☆Climax will take place in Itabashi Green Hall on 11th and 12th August and the final will be in Tokyo KFC Hall on 13th August.
