TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2022 WINTER”, 05/03/2022 Tokyo Ryogoku KFC Hall 202 Fans – Super No Vacancy
1. Mahiro Kiryu & Haruna Neko defeated Nao Kakuta & Kaya Toribami when Kiryu pinned Toribami with the Spinebuster (10:34).
2. 3 Way Match: Hyper Misao defeated Yuki Aino and Arisu Endo when Misao pinned Endo with La Magistral Cradle (7:53).
3. Hikari Noa & Yuki Kamifuku defeated Raku & Pom Harajuku when Noa pinned Harajuku with the Blizzard Suplex (8:50).
4. Nodoka Tenma defeated Marika Kobashi with the Killswitch (9:12).
5. Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki, Maki Itoh & Suzume defeated Shoko Nakajima, Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe, Yuki Arai & Moka Miyamoto when Itoh submitted Arai with the Itoh Punish (23:45).
Two weeks before Tokyo Joshi Pro heads to Sumo Hall, they had their last preview match for the big event. The champion team defeated the group of challengers when Maki Itoh submitted her Ryogoku opponent Yuki Arai. Itoh bragged about the champions all being strong and thanked The Magical Sugar Rabbits for being a nice assist today. She also thinks Miyu Yamashita’s recent training is paying off because their Saboten Diving Headbutt double team move worked today.
A bunch of the roster got to give their final thoughts on their Sumo Hall matches. Moka Miyamoto wants to make Juria Nagano’s debut the best mtch ever. Arisu Endo & Suzume want to win their first Ryogoku match together as Arisuzu. Kaya Toribami promises not to flinch and will do her best. Haruna Neko wishes everyone good luck. Mahiro Kiryu thinks her team will win if they all work together. Nao Kakuta doesn’t want to lose against the Ganbare☆Pro team. Hyper Misao wants to get down to business with Sanshiro Takagi. Yuki Kamifuku wants Asuka to know that tequila is not the only thing that is strong. The Bakuretsu Sisters promise to beat each other up. Pom Harajuku wants to win. Raku will be waiting for everyone on the Sobu and Oedo lines. Marika Kobashi said she will defeat NEO Biishiki-gun and make gals out of them. Hikari Noa will welcome Hikaru Shida into her world. Arai told Itoh she will get revenge at Ryogoku. Itoh said she is waiting for her. Rika Tatsumi wants to go MagiRabi hunting while Miu Watanabe just wants Daydream to do their best. Yuka Sakazaki hopes everyone will go eat hamburger steak but Mizuki wants to crush Daydream to achieve world peace. Shoko Nakajima told Yamashita not to get carried away with today’s win because she will be at her strongest in Sumo Hall. Yamashita assured her she isn’t getting carried away and she will beat her.
Nodoka Tenma and Marika Kobashi will forever be connected with each other because they began training for wrestling around the same time, debuted on the same show and will be leaving wrestling within weeks of each other. Tenma praises Kobashi for having acting more mature than her age. Kobashi has been getting singles matches against her seniors lately and she said she feels even more love for TJPW after every match.
Two special guest ring announcers are now advertised to appear at “GRAND PRINCESS ’22”. The first is Minami Momochi, the “anime idol” who was TJPW’s ring announcer from 2013 to the start of 2017. The second guest is Kero Tanaka, the famous ring announcer from New Japan in the 80’s and 90’s. He made guest appearances for TJPW before and was recently in the news for having a miraculous recovery from covid.
A special presentation on WRESTLE UNIVERSE saw Tokyo Joshi Pro hold its first event at a swimming pool. The participants were split into five pairs to take part in numerous challenges with points on the line. The first team to reach five points would be declared the winners. Everyone began fighting and throwing each other into the water before the first round even began.
As soon as everyone got into the water it was time for the first challenge. It was a game of Kibasen where one girl sat on their partner’s shoulders and had a chicken fight with their opponents. Pulling off someone else’s headband would eliminate them and the game continued until only one team was left. Mizuki last grabbed Hyper Misao’s band off to win the game and score 2 points.
Before the second challenge began, everyone put each other into a chain of Headlocks alongside the pool. Raku grabbed Miu Watanabe at the end and caused a chain reaction of Russian Leg Sweeps that sent everybody splashing into the water.
Good thing that was where the next game was being held. It was time to play volleyball. Daydream, Hikari Noa & Yuki Arai were short two players so Arisu Endo and Moka Miyamoto were added to their side despite not being part of the competition. They ended up winning 3-1 so Daydream and Noa & Akai both received 1 point each.
Nodoka Tenma wanted to take a rest inbetween games. What happened instead was Watanabe held her at the bottom of the waterslide so everyone else could go on the ride and Dropkick Tenma at the end. Sayuri Namba reluctantly took part too after Misao held her hostage with a gun. Rika Tatsumi disarmed Misao but threw Namba down the slide anyway.
The final competition was supposed to be a freestyle swimming race in the 25m pool. Yuka Sakazaki briefly vanished and reappeared in an athletic swimsuit, showing she was fully prepared for the contest. She easily finished in first with Tatsumi finishing behind her to earn a consolation point.
No team had the five points needed to win the entire competition so everyone agreed to take part in a Falls Count Anywhere 5 Way Tag Match with 3 points on the line. Daydream slammed Noa onto a swan float and sent her down a stream away from everyone else. Tatsumi then attempted the Missile Hip into the pool but Arai moved out of the way and Watanabe got hit instead. Raku & Marika Kobashi were seen on top of the bridge above them. They jumped off and hit Double Brain Chops onto Watanabe and Arai in the water. Tenma was thrown onto a floating ring and was stuck there. Sakazaki then decided to climb up a wall and do the Magical Girl Splash onto Tenma in the pool! She pinned her for the three count after that.
With 6 points now in total, The Magical Sugar Rabbits were declared the winners! Sakazaki & Mizuki both received trophies which they used to scoop up water and splash the other girls with. They then threw Namba into the water before jumping in themselves to end the show.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2022 WINTER”, 23/02/2022 Tokyo Ryogoku KFC Hall 202 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House
1. Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu defeated Hikari Noa & Kaya Toribami when Kamifuku pinned Toribami with the Famouser (9:10).
2. 3 Way Match: Suzume defeated Haruna Neko and Moka Miyamoto when Suzume pinned Neko with a Jackknife Pin (9:52).
3. Hyper Misao defeated Marika Kobashi with the Hypami Returns (10:51).
4. Shoko Nakajima, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Raku, Pom Harajuku & Yuki Arai when Aino pinned Harajuku after the Bakuretsu Bulldog (14:40).
5. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Nao Kakuta defeated Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Arisu Endo when Tatsumi pinned Endo with the Twist Of Fate (16:28).
After the main event Rika Tatsumi told the audience that she and Yuka Sakazaki entered Tokyo Joshi Pro together as classmates. They both went their own directions and each ended up with good tag team partners, Tatsumi with Miu Watanabe and Sakazaki with Mizuki. The two teams will face off at “GRAND PRINCESS ’22” and both teams are promising to win. Daydream want to win the Princess Tag Team Titles at Sumo Hall while The Magical Sugar Rabbits want to defend them in the same place. Backstage Tatsumi said she has learned how inseparable MagiRabi are together so she will hunt down the both of them at Ryogoku!
The Bakuretsu Sisters are going to explode at Sumo Hall! Nodoka Tenma doesn’t want her wrestling career to end before she has a match against her sister. Yuki Aino has always declined the idea whenever someone suggested it but this time Tenma won’t take no for an answer. Aino agreed, saying she made it to where she is today because of Tenma and she now wants to defeat her with all of her strength.
When the show began it was announced that Hyper Misao will take on Sanshiro Takagi at Sumo Hall. When Misao’s match was over, she got on the microphone and admitted she is disappointed that the match is happening. She would have wanted to fight the Takagi she saw eight years ago when she discovered pro wrestling but now he is just an ordinary president who cares more about numbers than doing crazy things. Takagi understands her complaints. He can’t lift one of his shoulders like he used to and he put this match together because he does want to sell more tickets for the show. But he is still a pro wrestler and that pro wrestler will stand in front of Misao at Sumo Hall so she better not regret her words! He promises their match will get crazy even though he also has to wrestle at the DDT show in the same building the next day.
One week before Marika Kobashi graduates from Tokyo Joshi Pro, she will have a starring role at the next “TJPW INSPIRATION” show on 10th April. She gets to team up with her favorite wrestler Abdullah Kobayashi! Their opponents will be Antonio Honda & SAKI.
Misao tried to hold a protest before her match with Kobashi to stop her from graduating. She complained about feeling lonely because people she meets in TJPW keep graduating from the company. Kobashi grabbed her placard sign and attacked her with it.

What an utter disaster the Ultimate Tag League has become for CDK. First Masahiro Takanashi had to pull out of a match because of covid forcing the team to forfeit against Pheromones and now Chris Brookes has been pulled from tomorrow’s show due to illness (so far not confirmed to be covid related), forcing them to forfeit another match. This time DAMNATION T.A are getting the free two points and their first win in the tournament.
The card is changes several matches as a result of this. DAMNATION T.A are now in a non-tournament match but on the plus side have Minoru Fujita with them again. The trio demolished their opponents yesterday and made it clear they want to dominate DDT. However Sasaki is being targeted by MAO because of his DDT Universal Title challenge, which Sasaki has declined over and over. Takanashi now has to take MAO’s place in the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title 5 Way Match. Another change is Yusuke Okada and Yuya Koroku becoming opponents in a dark match instead of teaming together in the opener.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’22”, 19/03/2022 Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan
1. Juria Nagano Debut Match: Juria Nagano Vs X
2. Special Single Match: Hikaru Shida Vs Hikari Noa
3. International Princess Title: Maki Itoh (c) Vs Yuki Arai
4. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe
5. Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima
Fresh off of the Max Heart Tournament we are left with the two strongest teams in Tokyo Joshi Pro fighting over the Princess Tag Team Titles. On one side are the champions, The Magical Sugar Rabbits. Their pride was bruised after an early elimination from the tournament so they feel the need to defend the belts against the Max Heart winners. That team is Daydream. They made one dream come true, now they have an even bigger one. They want to win the Tag Titles at Sumo Hall!
The growing history shared by Maki Itoh and Yuki Arai reaches another chapter. Arai is cashing in on her supernova rookie year by challenging Itoh for the International Princess Title. It wasn’t long ago that Itoh dared Arai to try and beat her with as many attempts as she wants to use. Arai thinks the time is now to strike and she has earned every strength needed to win against her fellow rival idol.
Hikaru Shida Vs Hikari Noa is definitely happening, no mistranslation here (why yes, I am one to talk). Excluding her recent MAKAI work and the AEW tournament she produced last year (empty arena), this will be Shida’s first pro wrestling match in front of a Japanese audience in over two and a half years.
Yuna Manase, Ram Kaichow and NEO Biishiki-gun will all be on the show. Manase is looking for an opponent to step up and face her in the ring. Nao Kakuta has shown interest in doing so given their history from Actwres girl’Z.
DDT “JUDGEMENT 2022 ~DDT 25TH ANNIVERSARY~”, 20/03/2022 Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan
1. LiLiCo Retirement Match: LiLiCo, Ryohei Odai & Akito (w/ Junretsu) Vs Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno, Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari
2. KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles: Toru Owashi, Antonio Honda, Kazuki Hirata & Yoshihiko (c) Vs Poison Sawada JULIE, Takashi Sasaki, GENTARO, MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba (w/ Naomi Susan)
3. DDT 25th Anniversary Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Michael Nakazawa
4. Special Single Match: Saki Akai Vs Maya Yukihi
5. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs Tetsuya Endo
So when LiLiCo asked for her retirement match to be filled with handsome men, it only made sense to include her husband in it. Ryohei Odai is a Kamen Rider actor and former member of the pop band Junretsu (which the DDT unit was also named after). He has little athletic experience but his inclusion in the match will be very important for LiLiCo. Speaking of Junretsu, they will be in the married couple’s corner while Akito takes up the last spot on the team.
It was LiLiCo’s decision to make Pheromones her opponents. She has had many unforgettable experiences with Danshoku Dieno so it is fitting for him to be one of her final opponents. Unfortunately for Odai, he got a, um, taste of Pheromones when they crashed the press conference announcing this match. They attacked Odai and Dieno shoved one of the Junretsu member’s face into Yuki Iino’s crotch while Yumehito Imanari filmed it.
DDT “MAX BUMP 2022 TOUR IN KOBE”, 24/04/2022 Kobe Art Center
Has Open The Forbidden Gate been used by DRAGONGATE yet? I’m sure it’s been used by them before. Let’s use it anyway. Genki Horiguchi is the latest name from the promotion coming over for a DDT appearance. The previous ones all worked on DDT shows booked by Toru Owashi in Nagoya but here it is for a show happening in Kobe. It’s slap bang in the middle DG territory but still progress in a seemingly growing relationship between the two companies. It’s another small step towards Kazuki Hirata jumping over and forcing them to play “Tokyo GO!” again.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “POSITIVE CHAIN ’22”, 11/02/2022 Tokyo Korakuen Hall 536 Fans
1. Moka Miyamoto defeated Arisu Endo with the Rashomon (6:02).
2. Hyper Misao, Mahiro Kiryu & Ram Kaichow defeated Asuka, Haruna Neko & Kaya Toribami when Misao pinned Toribami with the Hypami Returns (10:36).
3. Yuki Arai defeated Suzume with the Finally (11:14).
4. Sakisama & Mei Saint-Michel defeated Raku & Pom Harajuku when Saint-Michel pinned Harajuku after La Revolution (11:54).
5. Shoko Nakajima, Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Miyu Yamashita, Nao Kakuta & Marika Kobashi when Sakazaki pinned Kobashi with the Magical Merry-Go-Round (14:08).
6. International Princess Title: Maki Itoh (c) defeated Yuki Kamifuku with the Itoh Deluxe (11:37). *V1 for Maki Itoh.
7. 2nd “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Final: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe defeated Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino when Tatsumi pinned Tenma with the Missile Hips (20:30).
The second ever Max Heart Tournament goes to Daydream! The big final was a rubber match between them and The Bakuretsu Sisters after they had a 1-1 record against each other going back to 2020. Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino hit their big move the Bakuretsu Bulldog to their opponents early but couldn’t win off of it. Rika Tatsumi countered Tenma’s Killswitch into the Twist Of Fate, letting her regroup with Miu Watanabe. Aino was taken care of with the Tear Drop and Tenma was given the Daydream Eternity. Tatsumi then finished her off with the Missile Hips to win the tournament! It wasn’t the fairytale ending for Tenma as her wrestling career reaches its final weeks. But she is sure the battles between The Bakuretsu Sisters and Daydream will live on in the history of Tokyo Joshi Pro.
For Daydream they received their prize for winning the Max Heart Tournament. However they still have an even bigger dream they want to come true. They want to challenge The Magical Sugar Rabbits for the Princess Tag Team Titles at Sumo Hall! The champions came out and accepted the challenge for 19th March. Yuka Sakazaki agreed that Daydream earned the right to have the match. Meanwhile MagiRabi has to make up for getting eliminated in Round 1 so Sakazaki & Mizuki are as determined as ever to keep the championships. They also asked if they could get the Max Heart trophies if they beat Daydream.
The International Princess Title match had an unusual interruption when Maki Itoh had Yuki Kamifuku almost beaten. Itoh had locked in the Itoh Punish when Kamifuku grabbed the rope and then reached over to Mahiro Kiryu. It turned out Kiryu was holding up Kamifuku’s phone and somebody was calling her. Kamifuku answered and told everyone it was her mother. She then passed the phone over to Itoh asking her to join in the call. Itoh reluctantly did and Kamifuku suddenly gave her a School Boy for a nearfall. Itoh regained her composure and put her opponent in the Itoh Deluxe for the victory. Afterwards Kamifuku admitted that Itoh is the cutest in the world and more importantly, her friend who she supports. She still poked her in the eye causing Itoh to start swearing in English.
Once Itoh calmed down she declared she is ready to defend the IP Title as many times as she wants around the world. So whoever wants to fight her next should come out down. Enter Yuki Arai! She politely asked Itoh for a title shot and brought up Itoh being in her debut match last year. At the time Itoh gave Arai the goal to crush her no matter how long it will take. Arai thinks now is the right time to achieve that goal. Itoh accepted the challenge and said the title match will happen at Sumo Hall on 19th March!
The Ryogoku main eventers Miyu Yamashita and Shoko Nakajima (with a new haircut) were pitted against each other in a 6-Woman Tag, giving them more chances to figure each other out. Yamashita got the last hit on her challenger with the Skull Kick. Mizuki got rid of Yamashita with the Cutie Special. From there, MagiRabi were too much for Marika Kobashi to handle. Kobashi’s Front Neck Lock was broken and Sakazaki pinned her with the Magical Merry-Go-Round. Nakajima had fun teaming with MagiRabi again but she needs to make sure to avoid that Skull Kick.
The antics of Raku & Pom Harajuku were enough to send Sakisama to sleep. A lullaby from Raku made Sakisama drowsy and eventually she just had to take that nap on the ring apron. Mei Saint-Michel had to bang on the ring bell to wake her up. NEO Biishiki-gun ended up winning and Saint-Michel started complaining about being hungry. She wanted to go eat chanko stew. That reminded Sakisama of the Sumo Hall show next month so she decided NEO Biishiki-gun will be there! Meanwhile Raku & Harajuku blamed their loss today on the referee. Harajuku wants to get revenge on Yukinori Matsui but she doesn’t want to see him again either.
Arai got her confidence to challenge for the IP Title by beating Suzume earlier in the show. Suzume hit a Facebuster and went for the Ring A Bell but Arai hit back with the Full Nelson Buster and the Finally axe kick to win. Arai wants to have many more matches with Suzume because she thinks the two of them make each other improve so much. Suzume is upset to lose in front of her fans. There are many wrestlers she doesn’t want to lose against and now Arai is the one she wants to beat the most.
Today was only the second time Ram Kaichow has been in TJPW but she is already making the place feel like home. Perhaps she is getting a little bit too comfortable because she got Hyper Misao and Mahiro Kiryu to carry her on their shoulders down to the ring. Misao also had extra masks as gifts for her tag partners but they quietly left them on the canvas when she wasn’t paying attention. Misao then tried giving one to Asuka but was rejected again. Kiryu gave Haruna Neko a Sidebuster but she was then wiped out by a mistargeted Asai Moonsault from Asuka. Kaichow gave Asuka the Codebreaker and Misao pinned Kaya Toribami with the Hypami Returns. It was then announced that Kaichow will be back for the Sumo Hall show.
The opening match had classmates Arisu Endo and Moka Miyamoto going against each other. Their previous singles match last July ended in a draw. Miyamoto avoided the Waterwheel Drop and applied the Rashomon submission hold. Endo tried struggling out of it but had to give up in the end. Miyamoto is happy to win but is aware Endo has become stronger.
A former member of TJPW made her presence known at the beginning of the show. Yuna Manase came out and announced she will be at the Sumo Hall show next month! However this is not the old Yuna Manase that TJPW fans will remember. She is the burning hot Yuna Manase of Ganbare☆Pro! It would be easy for her to nominate an opponent right now but she doesn’t want to fight somebody just because she or the company told them to. No, she wants an opponent who wants to fight her under their own initiative. She doesn’t care how old they are or where they come from. They can even come over to Ganbare☆Joshi and challenge her there if they want! Or maybe Manase will bring her friends from Ganjo over instead. Nao Kakuta heard her call and threw her name into the hat to fight Manase at Sumo Hall.
Even though Hikari Noa was missing from today’s show, she still was involved in something newsworthy. She is getting a singles match against Hikaru Shida from AEW at Sumo Hall!
The Youtube channels are ramping up the match uploads a lot lately. Today I noticed Tokyo Joshi Pro ended up putting up their entire 29th January show match by match out of order. So I decided to gather them altogether in one post and delete the earlier single entries to free up some page space. I don’t want entire pages of this blog to get clogged up with videos.
