Oh and now Danshoku Dieno is angry that he was booked without being told so he is forming a locker room coup to wage war against Sanshiro Takagi.

It was Munenori Sawa’s idea because cooks put their soul into their food just like how wrestlers put their soul into their performance. If Matsumoto can create delicious ramen then the Gake no Fuchi Joshi show this week will surely succeed! After a four hour training course, Matsumoto created her ramen dish and was gifted a 500 yen coin by the chef. Sawa called it a great first step that shows how Gake no Fuchi Joshi can become more and more valuable.

The match name is sort of misleading. Originally Ganbare☆Wrestling began in 2013 and regularly ran shows for the year. It then took a break in the first few months of 2014 to relaunch as a “major sports league” in April of that year. So this match is the 6th Anniversary of the relaunch.

Ganpro celebrates its anniversary with a return to the promotion’s deepest feud. Minoru Fujita and the Tomodachi-gun unit were a thorn in Ken Ohka’s side from 2015 to 2016. Now Fujita has revived it for the special occasion with one of the original members Hagane Shinno (he was wrestling under the name Madoka back then). Keisuke Ishii gets to find out for himself what this unit was like to fight.

Each wrestler in the main event brought along a weapon to use in the Hardcore Match. Yumehito Imanari brought a bag of candy to slam his opponents onto, Bambi had her trusty whip, Ai Shimizu carried a kunai and Ken Ohka found a cushion. Needless to say the ring was left in a mess by the end of the match. Ohka Headbutted Imanari, gave him a Brainbuster onto the candy and finished him off with the Spear Of Flame. Ohka was pleased with Ganbare☆Wrestling’s first show in Osaka and marvelled at how far Ganpuro has grown in its 3 years of existence.

Yukihiro Abe got his opportunity to show he was no longer under Minoru Fujita’s control. The former Tomodachi-gun partners held nothing back as they fought each other. Abe reversed a Tombstone Piledriver but Fujita kicked out and succeeded with a second Tombstone to win. Fujita tried to be sympathetic to the Osaka crowd by calling Abe his friend. He claimed he was selfish to split up Tomodachi-gun and it was painful to see how Abe was now all alone. He was responsible for Abe’s growth as a wrestler but he accepts that Abe may not be suitable for the wrestling life. If Abe only wants to wrestle for fun from now on then so be it. Fujita then bid him adieu.

A high stakes main event was the big story surrounding this show. Tomodachi-gun was in charge and Minoru Fujita used his power to make Ken Ohka wrestle twice, first in the opener and then in the main event. All members of the losing team in the main event would be prohibited from using “BAD COMMUNICATION” as their theme song. Also the last wrestler eliminated would be banished from Ganbare☆Wrestling. Shota was the first elimination. Fujita attacked Ohka with a chair until Daisuke Kiso stopped him. Fujita then gave Ohka a Tombstone and Kiso counted a fast 3 count. He then took off his shirt to reveal a Fujita shirt underneath! Bambi was furious at what she saw and turned on Tomodachi-gun. Fujita gave Bambi the Tombstone and threw her out of the ring. Tomodachi-gun then began to fall apart when Madoka accidentally struck Yukihiro Abe resulting in Abe getting pinned. Madoka was then eliminated at the same time as Yumehito Imanari when Fujita Dropkicked both of them off the apron. Ai Shimizu was the next elimination which meant Shinichiro Tominaga was the last Ganpuro wrestler remaining. Against all odds he was able to knock Fujita over the top rope and then counter a Cross Facelock from Hi69 into a Cradle to win the match! Hi69 is now banished from Ganpuro!

Tominaga praised Hi69 as he left ringside. Madoka then argued with Fujita over Fujita eliminating him. Fujita said it wasn’t a betrayal but a sacrifice to help win the match. Madoka pointed out that they still lost and decided to quit Tomodachi-gun! With both Bambi and Madoka gone Fujita went over to Abe to find some comfort. He told Abe that Tomodachi-gun will have to disband but they will have a singles match together next month as part of Abe’s graduation from the group. Abe bowed to Fujita and offered a handshake. He then hit Fujita in the gut and DDT’d him! Defeated and alone in the ring, Fujita asked to speak with Ohka. He talked about his fights with Ohka over the last year and how no matter the situation he put in front of him, Ohka always worked hard. Fujita asked if he was a fool all this time? Ohka gave an emotional response and tearfully told Fujita they can fix their friendship. They can fix it by having a wrestling match on 30th July.

Even with some dirty help from Mitomi Masayuki, Shibata was easily defeated by the Mars Spector. When Shibata knocked over the referee, Masayuki came in and Low Blowed Spector. The mysterious wrestler recovered and got rid of Masayuki with Middle Kicks. He then pounded on Shibata before tapping him out.

Unable to wrestle, Shuichiro Katsumura appeared at the show walking on crutches. His role was to watch a tag match between a former American sumo wrestler, an evil doctor, a 4th generation monster whose father was put down by said evil doctor and an alien that threatened to destroy Earth in 3 minutes. The evil doctor turned out to be Takafumi Ito in disguise. He eventually got rid of the disguise and won the match. Ito then yelled at Katsumura to heal quickly so they can fight.

KAI was unable to appear because of a rib injury so Chikara needed a new opponent. Minoru Fujita made Ken Ohka wrestle him in a bid to tire Ohka out before the main event. Ohka quickly beat Chikara then said KAI Vs Chikara will happen in Ganpuro someday.

The main event had a lot on the line. Ken Ohka’s entrance music versus Minoru Fujita’s Best Microphone Award from the Dramatic Awards. Fujita played mind games by coming out to “BAD COMMUNICATION” by B’z anyway. His tag partner Takafumi Ito was introduced as a friend of a friend of Fujita which is good enough to gain membership into Tomodachi-gun. Fujita used the referee as a shield to prevent Ohka from doing the Spear Of Flame. The distraction allowed Yukihiro Abe to interfere and attack Ohka with a foreign object. Fujita gave Ohka the Tombstone but he kicked out at two. Another referee distraction had Fujita low blow Ohka and then roll him over with an Inside Cradle. That was enough for the three count. Ohka was left to mourn over losing his beloved entrance song. Fujita added extra salt to the wound by reminding him that he was never authorized to use it.

Shota offered a handshake to Abe after their match but was silently rejected.

Yumehito Imanari was really excited to find out who his opponent was going to be. After wrestling Viper last month he wanted to wrestle an even bigger, bustier woman. Instead he got American Balloon, a former DDT gaijin heavyweight who originally retired from Japanese wrestling back in 2010. Balloon did fit the bill of what Imanari wanted. He is bigger and bustier than Viper. He even used his big man boobs to block a lot of Imanari’s offence. Just like in his match with Viper, Imanari’s defeat came when he tried a German Suplex and ended up getting squashed by his opponent.

Shinichiro Tominaga challenged Hi69 to a match on 14th May.

3. Through A Time Of Three Years, Again!: Osamu Namiguchi defeated Yumehito Imanari with the Lanakila-X (9:46).
4. Shota And Abe, In A Stationary Darkness: Madoka & Yukihiro Abe defeated Ken Ohka & Shota when Abe pinned Shota after a Face Kick from Madoka (12:34).
5. Yutori Generation X Vs Black Jack Of The Rubbish Heap: Minoru Fujita defeated Shinichiro Tominaga with the Reverse Viper Hold (19:17).

Ganbare☆Wrestling held two shows in one day to celebrates its third anniversary. In the first show Shinichiro Tominaga stepped up to face Tomodachi-gun leader Minoru Fujita. Tominaga had an uphill battle ahead of him but was close to winning the match when he hit the JK. Unfortunately Fujita ducked a Lariat, pulled Tominaga down to the mat and applied the Reverse Viper Hold to make him submit. Fujita said the match was good preparation for the evening show and that Rubbish Heap★Wrestling will be immortal forever! Fujita then took out his Best Microphone diploma from this year’s Dramatic Awards. He offered a deal with Ken Ohka. If Ohka’s team wins the main event of the evening show then he will be given the Best Microphone Award. But if Fujita’s team wins he takes Ohka’s entrance song “BAD COMMUNICATION” by B’z! Ohka rejected the proposal but Fujita then asked if Ohka has permission from B’z to use the song. Ohka does not. He accepted the stipulation.

Tomodachi-gun cheated to win the semi-main event. Madoka distracted the referee so Yukihiro Abe could attack Shota with a foreign object. Madoka then hit a High Face Kick to Shota while Abe got rid of the evidence. Abe was the legal man so he got the pin with the referee being none the wiser.

Ken Ohka was Ai Shimizu’s mystery opponent for her first match in Ganpuro. Ohka invited Shimizu to come wrestle in Ganpuro anytime.

4. Wrestle Counselling: GENTARO defeated Shinichiro Tominaga with the Sharpshooter (16:57).
5. Ganpuro-gun Vs Tomodachi-gun ~Declaration Of War~: Ken Ohka, Shuichiro Katsumura & Osamu Namiguchi defeated Minoru Fujita, Madoka & Yukihiro Abe when Ohka pinned Abe with the Spear Of Flame (20:51).

The two teams in the main event continued brawling after it ended. When the two sides were separated there was a heated argument between Ken Ohka and Minoru Fujita. Ohka threw out a challenge for 29th March: Himself, Shota & Shinichiro Tominaga against three members of Tomodachi-gun. If Ohka’s team wins they get to rehabilitate Yukihiro Abe back to normal. Fujita whispered into Abe’s ear that he can become stronger if he beats Ohka. He then asked Ohka if one of his partners could be a beautiful joshi. Ohka accepted. Fujita then for some reason asked if he can vacate one of his chosen partners. Ohka also accepted. Fujita complained about the room smelling like candy and left with the rest of Tomodachi-gun.

The room smelt of candy because of Match #3. Yumehito Imanari covered the ring in potato chips and burst a bag of popcorn on Bambi’s head. He also interrupted the match to give chocolates to Manami Kanda as a late Valentine’s Day gift. Bambi attacked both of them and ate the remaining chocolate. Imanari later bribed Kanda with potato chips but didn’t pay attention to Bambi. He was pinned by Bambi with a Standing Shining Wizard. Kanda distracted herself by picking up pieces of candy from the canvas.

When Match #2 began Dr. Kirico immediately pulled out an injection to use on J-Soul Pandita III IV but the creature knocked it out of his hand. When Kirico began hitting Pandita with Saber Chops it was a clue as to who was under the mask. He unmasked and revealed himself to be Chikara! He then pinned Pandita with the Saber Chop. Chikara apologised to Pandita and then asked if it was a parent. Pandita is part of a wrestling family just like Chikara is so they should work hard together! That’s right, the grandson of Rikidozan just bonded with a panda over their families’ wrestling history.

Against all odds Ken Ohka managed to spoil Tomodachi-gun’s party and win the 5 Way main event. The plan was for all of Tomodachi-gun to gang up on Ohka and beat him down 4 on 1. However Osamu Namiguchi had other ideas and tried to pin his own stablemates because the match was still all against each other. Minoru Fujita tried to keep things under control but his plan fell apart when Namiguchi helped Ohka fight the rest of Tomodachi-gun. They both hit a Spear on Fujita and Hi69 then Ohka Speared Yukihiro Abe for the three count. Namiguchi and Fujita brawled after the match and Fujita kicked Namiguchi out of Tomodachi-gun. Ohka grabbed a mic and said he wants to bring Abe back to Ganbare☆Wrestling. He also offered to team with Namiguchi again but Namiguchi declined and left ringside.

Both Bambi and Yumehito Imanari were given a specific weapon for their Hardcore match. Bambi had her whip and Imanari was given a bag of candy. He tried to hit Bambi with the bag but was whipped over and over instead. Bambi force fed him the candy after she won the match.

Madoka’s mystery partner turned out to be PSYCHO! They easily defeated Shinichiro Tominaga & Tigger Bedscene and PSYCHO was welcomed into Tomodachi-gun with open arms. PSYCHO was given a Tomodachi-gun T-shirt but he threw it down and walked away. Madoka then tried to act like PSYCHO wasn’t his friend and left the ring embarrassed.

During Match #2 Dr. Kirico unmasked himself to reveal it was Shuichiro Katsumura! With an assist from Shibaten he was able to submit J-Soul Pandita III IV. Katsumura apologised for sneaking onto the show in disguise and he then pulled out a piece of paper that had 宣戦布告 (Declaration of war) written on it. Until now he watched the feud between Ganpuro and Tomodachi-gun in silence. He now has his sights set on Fujita!

Tomodachi-gun claimed that the results of last month’s Ganbare☆Wrestling Grand Prix Awards were all mistakes. Here are the correct award results according to Tomodachi-gun.

The Japanese wrestling scene is kind of falling apart at the moment but hey, at least Pro Wrestling BASARA signed a new wrestler. Ryuichi Sekine is jumping from K-DOJO to BASARA citing an opportunity to try new things in new places. TAKA Michinoku and Isami Kodaka confirmed the transfer at a press conference held today in Shinjuku and the change will be official on 21st January, the date of BASARA’s debut show. Sekine will honour his existing bookings with K-DOJO including a match against Tatsumi Fujinami set to take place in March. TAKA noted Sekine’s recent growth by wrestling in Big Japan and DDT’s spin off Tavern Wrestling. He also compared it to when he himself left Michinoku Pro. He is confident of Sekine’s new home promotion because Kodaka is also a K-DOJO graduate.

2. Beauties Of Nature Vs Enjo-gun: Shuichiro Katsumura & Kenta Hattori defeated Shibata & Mitomi Masayuki when Katsumura pinned Masayuki with a Gedo Clutch Cutback (9:13).
3. Outsiders Beyond ~Yokohama Metal City, Ganpuro Invasion!~: Masaharu Tsuchihashi defeated Yumehito Imanari with a Groin Stretch (5:10).
4. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Tomodachi-gun: Hi69 & Bambi defeated Shinichiro Tominaga & Manami Kanda when Bambi pinned Kanda with the Standing Shining Wizard (14:01).
5. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Tomodachi-gun: Minoru Fujita & Yukihiro Abe defeated Ken Ohka & Shota when Fujita pinned Ohka with the Sasuke Segway (16:32).

The main event immediately began Ken Ohka and Yukihiro Abe brawling around ringside. Later members of Tomodachi-gun got rid of the referee whenever the Ganpuro team had the match won. Minoru Fujita took control and hit move after move on Ohka until he finally put him away with the Sasuke Segway. After the match Fujita offered Ohka an ultimatum. Either let Tomodachi-gun book the January show or they will all skip it and come back in February. Heck, maybe they’ll skip February too!

When Tomodachi-gun left ringside Ohka broke down into tears. The other members of Ganpuro all tried to fire him up with words of encouragement and also by physically striking him. Ohka snapped out of it and accepted Tomodachi-gun’s demand for next month.

The Ganbare☆Wrestling Grand Prix 2015 Awards were announced at the start of the show. A ceremony for the awards will take place on 24th January. The results are:

2. Ganbare☆Joshi Vs Enjo-gun Joshi: Manami Kanda Vs Haruka Kato ended in a No Contest when Enjo-gun interfered (1:26).
3. Shibata, Mitomi Masayuki & Haruka Kato defeated Shota, Tigger Bedscene & Manami Kanda by TKO when Shibata knocked out Bedscene with the Dai Enjo (6:09).
4. THE OUTSIDER Send Off Match: Ken Ohka & Shinchiro Tominaga Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & Yumehito Imanari ended in a Time Limit Draw (15:00).
5. Special Match: Minoru Fujita & Yukihiro Abe defeated Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari when Abe pinned Imanari with the Isamuashi Zan (10:36).

Yumehito Imanari’s send off match before he competes in THE OUTSIDER ended in a Time Limit Draw. Minoru Fujita interrupted the goodbye party and introduced the newest member of Tomodachi-gun, Yukihiro Abe! An impromptu tag match took place and ended when Fujita gave Imanari a Tombstone followed by Abe hitting the Isamuashi Zan.

Chikara Vs Hayato Mashita was announced for the 23rd December show.
