1. Sakisama & Misao defeated Himawari Unagi & Pom Harajuku when Sakisama submitted Harajuku with the YSL (7:43).
2. Yuna Manase & Yuki Kamifuku defeated Makoto Kiryu & Mirai Maiumi when Kamifuku pinned Kiryu with the Fame Asser (8:51).
3. “I Sincerely Hope For Peace In Tokyo Joshi Pro!”: Rika Tatsumi Vs Demonio Uno ended in a Double Countout (2:14).
3a. Rematch: Rika Tatsumi defeated Demonio Uno with the Missile Hips (11:00).
4. Summer Vacation Special Plan, I’m Excited About Summer Tokyo Joshi Festival 2019 “Chu! Natsu Party Death Match”: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Nodoka Tenma & Mina Shirakawa when Sakazaki pinned Shirakawa with the Magical Magical Girl Splash With Fireworks into the Pool (12:49).
5. Maki Itoh & Hikari Noa defeated Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Aino when Noa pinned Aino with the Uranage (12:55).
6. Miyu Yamashita defeated Miu Watanabe with the Attitude Adjustment (11:38).

Miyu Yamashita praised Miu Watanabe for getting stronger since the last time they fought each other. Watanabe took the words to heart and said in her mind today was not a defeat. She asked Yamashita to support her when they challenge for the Princess Tag Team Titles on 25th August.

The team of Maki Itoh & Hikari Noa struggled to get along at first. That is because Noa regularly teams with Itoh’s enemy Natsumi Maki. They seemed to gel as the match went on and eventually became the winners. But Itoh still flipped off Noa when she went to shake her hand.

The ring canvas was covered in blue sheets for the Natsu Party Death Match. Any summer related item was permitted to be used as a weapon including flotation rings, squirt guns, water balloons and watermelons. There was also a small kids pool filled with water placed inside the ring Mina Shirakawa introduced herself to the audience as “The Happy H Cup Who Will Give A Power Bomb To Your Heart.” Everyone threw water at each other and got soaked. Mizuki found fireworks and shot them at Nodoka Tenma while Yuka Sakazaki ran around with sparklers. Sakazaki sent Shirakawa into the pool then Double Stomped the watermelon on top of her. Sakazaki then hit the Magical Magical Girl Splash while fireworks shot up behind her to get the win. Shirakawa called the match her version of the G1, the Glamorous 1. Sakazaki said she wanted to use more fireworks but the venue became too damp.

Rika Tatsumi’s battle with Demonio Uno quickly ended in a Double Countout when the two fought their way out of the venue. They agreed to an immediate rematch but continued to brawl outside the ring. Back in the ring the referee got knocked down and Uno brought in a chair. Antonio Honda came to the rescue and gave Uno the Bionic Elbow. He then revived the referee while Tatsumi pinned her opponent with the Missile Hip Attack.

Honda was there to support Tatsumi because earlier in the show he was revealed to be Tatsumi & Sakazaki’s partner for the match against NEO Biishiki-gun on 1st Setpember! Honda told everyone that he previously knows the two girls from the time they were part of a music group together. He was the one who encouraged the two of them to take up pro wrestling!

Raku was the only member of the Up Up Girls not wrestling today so she held a solo concert called the Tsurumi Idol Festival during intermission.

4. Summer Jumbo Special Two Big Singles Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Makoto Oishi
5. Konosuke Takeshita’s Summer Measures Against Shinya Aoki: Konosuke Takeshita Vs Danshoku Dieno Army Elite Members

Konosuke Takeshita found out that Danshoku Dieno is putting him through a series of high level opponents in order to prepare for his match with Shinya Aoki. Takeshita doesn’t know what to expect out of this.

The plan was to have Saki Akai team with Su Yung but Akai has the day off and will not be changing her plans. Instead Akai has made DDT book a distant non-blood relative of hers simply named Saki. Her name is written as “娑鬼” which can be translated to “Demon”. Akai claim the only times they have met in person were when they were children. Even then her memory of what Saki looks like is blurry. Akai drew a picture of what she thinks Saki looks like now. She assures to everyone that Saki is not part of the UMA Corps (Akai isn’t liked by them) but she is not certain if she is a human or a demon. Akai used her parents to contact Saki in the Kyoto mountains to set up this match with Yung against Asuka & Makoto.

Puma King is back in DDT for the first time since January.

This show will feature the DDT debut of Santino Marella! It will be his first appearance in DDT but he is a former Iron Man Champion.

Gisele Shaw will be on the show.

5. Sakisama & Misao defeated Yuka Sakazaki & Mirai Maiumi when Misao pinned Maiumi with the Vanitas (11:19).
6. Shoko Nakajima, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Mizuki, Natsumi Maki & Hikari Noa when Nakajima pinned Noa with the Northern Lights Suplex (14:22).

There is a big Osaka show for Tokyo Joshi Pro coming up in September so today’s visit to the area was to build up anticipation for that date. After the main event Shoko Nakajima said she is looking forward to September but right now in the summertime she is getting stronger. They have two big shows coming up in Korakuen Hall and Osaka Edion Arena #2 which is making Nakajima feel ambitious.

Sakisama mocked her opponents after Match #5 and announced that her young maid Martha will return for a match on the 1st September Osaka show. Rika Tatsumi heard this, entered the ring and called Martha an old drunk. This offended Sakisama and she demanded that NEO Biishiki-gun face Tatsumi & Yuka Sakazaki in a match. Tatsumi agreed but said since it is currently 3 Vs 2 she will bring in a special person to even the odds and make it a trios match.

Today was the first time Miyu Yamashita & Miu Watanabe teamed together for a regular tag match after their challenge for the Princess Tag Team Titles was accepted. Things are working out well so far with some double team moves established and a victory under their belts. However before their title match happens, Watanabe asked Yamashita for a singles match together. She wants to understand Yamashita at her full strength so they can become a better team afterwards.

Some of Su Yung’s upcoming matches in Tokyo Joshi were announced. She faces Yuka Sakazaki on 25th August in Korakuen and then has a match with Maki Itoh in Osaka on 1st September.

The rookie Izumi will have her debut match on 1st September. She & Mirai Maiumi will take on Shoko Nakajima & Riho. It’s the return of the Twin Cam Monsters!

2. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi-Final: Yuna Manase defeated Yuka Sakazaki with the Suzuki Dynamic (10:51).
3. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi-Final: Mizuki defeated Natsumi Maki with a Cradle (7:24).
4. Nodoka Tenma, Raku & YUMI defeated Yuki Kamifuku, Himawari Unagi & Makoto Kiryu when Tenma pinned Kiryu with the Killswitch (11:04).
5. Sakisama & Misao defeated Yuki Aino & Mirai Maiumi when Sakisama pinned Maiumi with the Academy Award (10:55).
6. Shoko Nakajima, Rika Tatsumi & Hikari Noa defeated Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh & Miu Watanabe when Nakajima pinned Watanabe with the Northern Lights Suplex (14:14).
7. Tokyo Princess Cup – Final: Mizuki defeated Yuna Manase with the Cutie Special (17:05).

For the first time the Tokyo Princess Cup final was without a trueborn Tokyo Joshi Pro wrestler. Both Mizuki and Yuna Manase are freelancers. In the final Mizuki avoided the Suzuki Dynamic that had worked so well for Manase throughout the tournament. Instead it was Mizuki who had her hand raised when she got the pin with the Cutie Special.

Shoko Nakajima told Mizuki after the match that they will have their TOKYO Princess Title match in Osaka on 1st September. Mizuki will treat the match as a challenge but Nakajima will treat it as a shot at revenge for being eliminated by Mizuki in the 2nd round. When she left Mizuki thanked everyone for their support and she will continue to do her best so everyone can be happy together!

A Cradle reversal is what sent Mizuki to the final over Natsumi Maki. The match got pretty rough early on when both girls gave each other Hair Whips across the ring. Maki said she done it as a calculated move because she wrestles similarly to Mizuki. In her first Tokyo Joshi tournament, Maki feels she has grown amazingly from the wins and even the loss she received.

The semi-finals kicked off with Manase eliminating Yuka Sakazaki in an upset. Manase fought out of a Modified Armlock then stunned Sakazaki with a Rolling Elbow. That gave Manase the opening to give Sakazaki the Suzuki Dynamic. Sakazaki said she wanted to see Mizuki reach the final but was upset she wouldn’t be there with her.

In the 6-Woman Tag Maki Itoh and Hikari Noa kept giving each other the middle finger. Rika Tatsumi tried to put Miyu Yamashita in the Dragon Sleeper but when she couldn’t she was still able to defend herself from Yamashita’s kicks. Miu Watanabe overpowered Shoko Nakajima with the Giant Swing but her attempt at the Tear Drop was countered into a DDT. Nakajima then finished off Watanabe with the Northern Lights Suplex.

At the beginning of the show there was a contract signing between NEO Biishiki-gun and The Bakuretsu Sisters for the Tokyo Princess Tag Team Titles match next week on 13th July. The big story from the signing involved Sakisama & Misao calling Nodoka Tenma a pig causing Tenma to bite Sakisama in the arm! Sakisama fainted but was still able to wrestle later. When NEO Biishiki-gun defeated Yuki Aino & Mirai Maiumi, Tenma came out and bit Sakisama’s arm again!

For some reason Yuki Kamifuku, Himawari Unagi & Makoto Kiryu all wanted to wrestle with YUMI in their trios match.

Pom Harajuku’s shin kicking wasn’t enough to beat Mina Shirakawa. A Backfist and the Implant DDT gave Shirakawa the win.

The next TJPW trainee was introduced to the public. Izumi will have her debut match at the 25th August Korakuen Hall show. Her official ring name and match opponents will be announced at a later date.

Su Yung returns to Tokyo Joshi on 25th August. She will also be at the 1st September Osaka Edion Arena #2 show. She previously wrestled in Tokyo Joshi back in May 2018.

Sanshiro Takagi is on the card and he has Super Sasadango Machine to thank for it. Maybe TAJIRI too. There was a tweet from TAJIRI sent over the weekend talking about how there are different tiers of wrestling as an art form. Sasadango was offended on Takagi’s behalf when TAJIRI labelled comedy wrestling as third rate, although Takagi does not think for a moment that he was the intended target of that opinion. Even if this is a misunderstanding, Sasadango wants a match with Takagi at DDT’s biggest show of the year to prove that Takagi is anything but a third rate wrestler. He is even taking himself out of the Battle Royal to put this match together. Takagi is grateful for the opportunity and asks that their match will be a Weapon Rumble!

That’s not all, Sasadango brought up that there are now many pro wrestlers who are active in their forties including himself, Takagi and TAJIRI. He wants to inspire the DDT fans from the same age group that they can still do their best. To do this there should be a new championship. There used to be a U-30 Title for wrestlers under thirty years olds to fight over, now there should be an O-40 Title for the wrestlers over forty! Takagi thinks the idea is interesting and agrees that the winner of their match will become the first champion. After all, Takagi wants his pro wrestling to change everyone’s life and he also still wants to be a champion. Sasadango also suggested that the loser should reply to TAJIRI’s tweet.

4. Reika Saiki & Rika Tatsumi defeated Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh when Saiki pinned Itoh with the Jackhammer (14:38).
5. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 2: Yuka Sakazaki defeated Miu Watanabe with the Osaekomi Backslide (12:53).
6. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 2: Mizuki defeated Shoko Nakajima with the Diving Foot Stomp (14:32).

The Magical Sugar Rabbits join Natsumi Maki and Yuna Manase in the Tokyo Princess Cup final four. Mizuki won against Shoko Nakajima when she blocked the Diving Senton with her knees. Mizuki then countered the Unmanned Local Train Hold into the Cutie Special for a nearfall and got the pin with the Diving Foot Stomp.

Yuka Sakazaki had a tough time trying to beat Miu Watanabe and almost became the next big upset in the tournament. She got put in the Giant Swing, the Canadian Backbreaker and even took the Tear Drop. Luckily for Sakazaki she landed near the ropes and had enough time to kickout of the pin after she was pulled away. Watanabe went for the Laserbeam strike but Sakazauki dodged it and pinned Watanabe with the Osaekomi Backslide.

The semi-final lottery was held to determine the matches. Mizuki drew Maki and Sakazaki gets Manase. The semi-finals and final take place on 7th July.

Reika Saiki wrestled her last match as a regular for Tokyo Joshi Pro, even scoring the pinfall. Saiki said she feels indebted to Tokyo Joshi for the three years she spent with them. During the match she & Rika Tatsumi did stereo Figure 4 Leg Locks together, Keiji Muto style. Saiki said that although she began in WRESTLE-1 and will always be a part of that company, she grew up here and will continue to work hard in the joshi world. She will get the chance to wrestle in Toyko Joshi again someday.

Yuki Aino took the bullet for her sister Nodoka Tenma during Match #4. Sakisama went to give Tenma a Running PK from the apron but Aino put herself in front of Tenma to keep her out of harm’s way. Tenma was then able to hit a Cross Body on Sakisama from the apron. That didn’t help Raku though since she submitted to Misao moments later. Misao insulted Tenma after the match prompting Aino to defend her again. She said Tenma always protected her because she is strong. Together they are strong too and they can prove it by winning the Tokyo Princess Tag Team Titles! The challenge was accepted but Sakisama told Aino that she can’t do anything without her sister. She pointed her rose towards Aino but Tenma suddenly grabbed the rose and ate it!

Maki Itoh wants to form a tag team with Miyu Yamashita and compete for the Princess Tag Titles. She also confirms that Chris Brookes is now a member of the Itoh Respect Army.

*The Magical Sugar Rabbits fail in V7. NEO Biishiki-gun becomes the 5th Tokyo Princess Tag Team Champions!

It took a Ripcord Knee Strike and the Vanitas from Misao to end The Magical Sugar Rabbits’ long title reign. Sakisama got on the microphone and stood over Yuka Sakazaki while Misao took away the Tokyo Princess Tag Team Titles. She asked Mizuki if she was ready to join NEO Biishiki-gun but Mizuki knocked her back. Sakisama was appalled but came to a realisation. It was never Mizuki who she saw beauty in, it was her own reflection when she looked into Mizuki’s eyes. NEO Biishiki-gun ended the show by welcoming Tokyo Joshi Pro into their new world!

We have our first two semi-finalists for the Tokyo Princess Cup. A scramble of cradles led to Natsumi Maki pinning Maki Itoh. Maki felt there is something connecting her to Itoh and she promises to do her best for both of them. Yuna Manase continues to prove her worth by beating Rika Tatsumi. She fought out of the Dragon Sleeper and struck Tatsumi with a Lariat. That set up the Kakato Drop finish.

It was announced that there will be a Tokyo Joshi dark match at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2019” on 15th July. The match is Tatsumi, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino Vs Maki, Manase & Himawari Unagi.

2. Sakisama & Misao defeated Nodoka Tenma & Himawari Unagi when Misao pinned Unagi with the Vanitas (11:07).
3. Shoko Nakajima, Yuka Sakazaki & Miu Watanabe defeated Natsumi Maki, Hikari Noa & Mirai Maiumi when Nakajima submitted Maiumi with the Unmanned Local Train Hold (12:25).
4. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Maki Itoh defeated Raku with the Itoh Special (6:16).
5. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Yuna Manase defeated Yuki Aino with the Suzuki Dynamic (6:06).
6. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Yuka Sakazaki defeated Mina Shirakawa with the Magical Girl Splash (9:36).
7. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Mizuki defeated Miyu Yamashita with the Cutie Special (11:10).

The Tokyo Princess Cup has always been Miyu Yamashita’s weak point and this year was no different. Sometimes it was shock upsets against weaker opponents and other times it’s been first round eliminations caused by wrestlers just as strong as her. Today was the latter. Mizuki outwrestled Yamashita by putting her in a Facelock. Yamashita rolled out of it but Mizuki caught her in a Casadora and followed with a Double Stomp. From there Mizuki hit the Cutie Special to get the win. Mizuki was in tears while she gave her victory speech and admitted she didn’t even think she would be talking on the microphone after the main event today. She respects Yamashita for all the times she watched her headline a Korakuen Hall show. Today’s win now gives Mizuki enough confidence to believe that she will win this year’s Princess Cup!

A disappointed Mina Shirakawa after her match said over and over that she wanted to fly today just like Yuka Sakazaki. Shirakawa attacked Sakazaki before the match began in a move she admits is inspired by Hayabusa’s ambush on Jushin Liger from the Super J Cup. Although she lost the match, Shirakawa wants to get strong enough so she can wrestle abroad like Sakazaki just did.

Yuna Manase is still feeling motivated after her “Pochari Joshi” match in Ganbare☆Wrestling back in April. She wants to win for the fans that cheered for her back then and also to prove she belongs in Tokyo Joshi Pro. With this she was able to stay in her match after taking Yuki Aino’s Side Suplex and won with the Suzuki Dynamic.

That Raku is a sneaky one, I tell you. When her match with Maki Itoh was about to begin, Raku was crying with nerves while she shook Itoh’s hand and telling herself to pull things together. Then when Itoh was returning to her corner, Raku jumped her with a flying kick! Itoh stopped her with a DDT and the Itoh Special to go through. Raku explained that the lyrics to Itoh’s music was what moved her to tears and the audience’s cheers grew her desire to win.

The Tokyo Princess Cup 2nd Round matches are Natsumi Maki Vs Maki Itoh, Rika Tatsumi Vs Yuna Manase, Shoko Nakajima Vs Mizuki and Miu Watanabe Vs Yuka Sakazaki.

NEO Biishiki-gun were put off by how excitable Himawari Unagi was by their moves in the ring. But never mind about her, it’s Mizuki that they’re interested in. Misao said that when she and Sakisama return to Shin-Kiba 1st RING next week they will win the Tokyo Princess Tag Team Titles.

Rika Tatsumi expected Pom Harajuku and Mahiro Kiryu to team up against her so she asked for the 3 Way Match to be turned into a Handicap Match. However Harajuku and Kiryu assured her that they wanted the ordinary 3 Way Match as planned. Harajuku hit the Laforet Harajuku to Kiryu but Tatsumi then cradled her to steal the pin.
