Ken Ohka is feeling flustered after the Korakuen Hall seating chart for this show appeared on screen during Sunday’s DDT show revealing many unsold tickets. Ohka said Amon Tsurumi put that on the screen without his permission. Ohka has promised to retire if the show doesn’t sell out. Not only that but a lot of money was borrowed to put this show together. If that isn’t bad enough their T-shirt design for the occasion hasn’t been completed yet and the DVD team are too busy putting together a Ganbare Vs Tomodachi-gun release so they can’t immediately work on editing the Korakuen show as soon as it ends. Also Yumehito Imanari wants to put his match with Viper on the DVD even though that has nothing to do with the Tomodachi-gun feud.

1. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Yuu (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi

Yuu thinks Rika Tatsumi has a cute look but that makes her soft. Tatsumi can’t put into words why she thinks she can win the title from Yuu but it isn’t luck.

Two changes to the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster has been announced. First, Marika Kobashi will be taking six months off from wrestling at the end of October. During that time she will finish her junior high school term and then prepare for her high school entrance exam. She is expected to return next spring, either March or April.

Secondly, Yuka Sakazaki will also take a leave of absence from Tokyo Joshi. Due to her recent performances she decided to travel to Magic Country and begin warrior training to become stronger. It is unknown how long this will take. In the meantime Yuka is sending her previously unacknowledged twin sister from Magic Country to take her place in Tokyo Joshi. Yuka’s sister is a masked luchadora named Mil Clown. She cannot speak any human language so she carries a teddy bear called Kumaun to talk on her behalf.

5. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Yuu defeated Miyu Yamashita (c) by TKO with the Katahajime (14:26).
*Miyu Yamashita fails in V3. Yuu becomes the 2nd TOKYO Princess Of Princess Champion!

We have a new TOKYO Princess Of Princess Champion! After an almost 9 month reign as the first champion, Miyu Yamashita fell to her toughest challenge yet. In fact, the new champion Yuu had her debut match on the same show where Yamashita was crowned the first champion. Yamashita threw everything that she could from the Attitude Adjustment to a Cross Arm German Suplex to the Crash Rabbit Heat. But Yuu caught Yamashita in the Katahajime and squeezed the life out of her, winning the match by TKO. When Yamashita regained consciousness she hadn’t the energy to shake Yuu’s hand so she instead bumped Yuu’s shoulder with her fist in congratulations before being helped out of the ring. When Yuu received the title belt she said she was the absolute champion and now she wants to shine more. Rika Tatsumi entered the ring and congratulated Yuu. But she also threw out a challenge. Tatsumi said she has recently become stronger and a championship to go along with her new success would be cool. Yuu accepted the challenge but warned Tatsumi that Yamashita thought she was invincible. Now look what happened to her.

It is now time for KANNA to say farewell to Tokyo Joshi Pro. She was one of the first trainees for the promotion but decided to call time on her wrestling career to become a rapper. For her final match she was reunited with Saki Akai and Ai Shimizu to reform the posh Biishiki-gun group for one night only. Akai was misinformed and thought KANNA was going off to do musicals in Broadway. She prefers the orchestra to rap. Biishiki-gun won their match when Akai gave Shoko Nakajima a PK from the apron, Shimizu gave Akane Miura a Tornado DDT and KANNA got the pin on Maho Kurone with the Spear Of Versailles. Akai told KANNA after the match she was a rose in full bloom. The rest of the roster gave her bouquets and said their goodbyes. Yamashita said she didn’t want to cry before her match but after spending four years training and wrestling with KANNA she was sad to see her leave. KANNA thanked everyone for supporting her and wished herself luck on travelling down a new road.

While Tatsumi is gaining confidence with her win today, her opponent Yuka Sakazaki was distraught over losing. Sakazaki couldn’t muster up the enthusiasm to speak in the ring, called herself weak and left feeling upset. All she said in a backstage interview is after all her training leading up to today she just feels like a useless child.

Tokyo Joshi Pro will hold their second show in Korakuen Hall on 4th January, 2017! Yuu’s goal is to stay as the champion and sell out the show for her one year anniversary.

5. Instead Of Goodbye: Miyu Yamashita defeated KANNA with the Crash Rabbit Heat (9:17).

Miyu Yamashita and KANNA tearfully hugged each other after what is now their final match against each other. Yamashita said she will feel lonely when KANNA graduates from Tokyo Joshi Pro next month. They knew each other for three years and seven months, Yamashita will remember that time as a gift. KANNA said she envied Yamashita for having the “sparkly belt”. In her time here she wanted to be a strong and cool girl. Even though she is leaving she thinks she can use what she learned to become stronger and cooler.

Yuu was happy to wrestle against Shoko Nakajima again for the first time since the Tokyo Princess Cup final. However she was disappointed not to win the match, slowing down her momentum before her title match.

Both Nonoko and Yuka Sakazaki requested for pieces of watermelon to be left in the ring for their match. A special rule was put in place that nobody could attack their opponent before they finished eating their watermelon. Daisuke Kiso joined in but almost choked on his piece. When that was done the match went back to normal and Sakazaki got the upset win. She dodged the Pai Fly Flow and gave Nonoko and Arm Screw followed by the Magical Girl Splash.

6. Tokyo Princess Cup – Final: Yuu defeated Shoko Nakajima with the Cross Armbreaker (17:12).

The winner of this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup is Yuu! No, not you. Yuu! She’s only been wrestling in Tokyo Joshi Pro for 8 months but in that time Yuu has been undefeated and nobody has been able to match her skill. Akane Miura offered a challenge in the semi-final with her power based offence but Yuu choked her out with the Katahajime to win. In the other semi-final Hyper Misao took on last year’s winner Shoko Nakajima. Misao wanted the match to have a One Count Pinfall rule so she could save her energy for the final. The rule was rejected and Misao was told to continue the match when she pinned Nakajima for one second. Misao’s recent streak of upset wins ended here and Nakajima went on to the final. Yuu kicked out of the Northern Lights Suplex and wore down Nakajima until she tapped from a Cross Armbreaker. Yuu said becoming a pro wrestler is a dream come true but now she has a new dream. She asked Miyu Yamashita for a TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title shot. Yamashita accepted the challenge and set the match for 22nd September.

Yamashita has another target in her sights. She’s interested in fighting Reika Saiki one on one. Saiki herself thinks she has found a rival in Yamashita.

Summer time was the theme of Match #4. Each girl took part in the match while wearing yukatas. They also each brought out a weapon that is related to summer vacations. Rika Tatsumi had a beach volleyball, Yuka Sakazaki had a water ring, Nonoko had a watermelon and KANNA carried a water pistol. After the match KANNA announced she will graduate from Tokyo Joshi on 22nd September. She will have one more match with Miyu Yamashita on 31st August. She also invited Saki Akai and Ai Shimizu to attend her graduation ceremony.

Maho Kurone is the newest wrestler to debut for Tokyo Joshi. She wears a black costume to go along with her name. She has no sports history but wanted to join Tokyo Joshi when she saw their show at last year’s Beer Garden series. Nodoka-oneesan tried to beat her with the Back Flip but Kuron escaped and hit a Swinging Reverse Neckbreaker to win her debut match. Kuron didn’t feel quite happy afterwards but thinks people will enjoy her personality. She said she wants to fight Akane Miura sometime.

4. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Akane Miura defeated Nonoko with the Lariat (6:15).
5. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Hyper Misao defeated Miyu Yamashita with the I Am A Hero (11:05).

The big story coming out of the first round is Hyper Misao beating Miyu Yamashita in a massive upset. At one point during the match Misao was accidentally unmasked when she escaped from a Headlock. To show how serious she took the match, Misao refused to take the mask back and continued to wrestle with her face exposed. She kicked out of the Attitude Adjustment and got the surprise three count with a Diving Cross Body. Misao now faces KANNA in Round 2.

In another upset, Akane Miura defeated her tag team partner and first Tokyo Princess Cup winner Nonoko. The decisive moment of the match was Miura countering the Boinmaker with a Power Slam. A Lariat after that ended the match. Miura’s 2nd Round opponent is Rika Tatsumi.

For the fourth time in their short careers, Yuu and Nodoka Onee-san wrestled each other and for the fourth time Yuu won. Nodoka is upset that she is lagging so far behind in progress from Yuu and that she is constantly losing to her. Yuu faces Azusa Takigawa in Round 2.

Yuka Sakazaki will be against her Fighting Comedians tag partner Shoko Nakajima in the next round. Although she lost, Marika Kobashi thinks she is doing enough training necessary to be good. She thinks she just needs to become stronger.

5. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) defeated Yuka Sakazaki with a Cradle (15:19).
*V2 for Miyu Yamashita.

In her second TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title defence Miyu Yamashita went up against Yuka Sakazaki. The challenger has been riding a wave of momentum heading into the match thanks to her Osaekomi Backslide. This time Yamashita had the move scouted and countered it with a Buzzsaw Kick. With that risk removed Yamashita was able to beat Sakazaki. Yamashita says she wants to fight more strong challengers so she can grow as the champion.

Hyper Misao described the 3 Way Match as a Hero Introductory Test for both Akane Miura and Yuu. She was hoping to find an “ally of justice” and declined to take part because she should not lay her super powered hands on members of the general public. It turned out to be a trick and she tried to get involved only to get knocked aside by her opponents.

The day before this show took place Erin announced she was resigning from Tokyo Joshi Pro. She has been regularly kept out of action with a foot injury. An early return from the first injury only made things worse for her. Another setback happened recently which was when she decided to quit. Erin feels heartbroken over the decision but realises that she is unable to continue wrestling. She thanked the fans for supporting her in the last two years and apologised that it had to end this way.
