4. Road To Korakuen! GanPro Vs Takaiwa Army Full-Scale Battle: Tatsuhito Takaiwa & 5th Black Tiger defeated Kouki Iwasaki & Mizuki Watase when Takaiwa pinned Watase with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster (15:37).
5. Ganpro Yokohama First Landing Commemorative Match ~Team Reversal Gym Yokohama Grand Slam Vs Wrestle Drunkers~: Shuichiro Katsumura, Tsuyoshi Okada & Yumehito Imanari defeated Keisuke Ishii, Tanomusaku Toba & Tyson Maeguchi when Katsumura submitted Maeguchi with the Ninja Choke (17:07).

Both Shuichiro Katsumura and HARUKAZE were celebrating their homecoming matches today and both came out of the show with victories. In the main event, Katsumura gathered together wrestlers representing his Team Reversal Gym Yokohama Grand Slam. After winning the match, Katsumura told everyone this is Ganbare☆Pro’s first show in Yokohama. For many fans here it is their first time seeing Ganpro and maybe even pro wrestling. He doesn’t know what will happen next with Ganpro but he hopes they will come back to his hometown.

A public contract signing for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title match on 27th February took place before today’s show. Kouki Iwasaki said he is physically and mentally ready to crush Tatsuhito Takaiwa’s chest in with his kicks. His goal is to win the title in the main event of Korakuen Hall and defend it at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022” in June. Otherwise there is no future in Ganpro if Takaiwa remains the champion until that show. Takaiwa said at 50 years old he is celebrating 30 years in pro wrestling this year. He believes Iwasaki will be the champion some day and it is up to himself as the first champion to show him what it is like. Later in the show Takaiwa & 5th Black Tiger beat Iwasaki & Mizuki Watase in a tag match. Takaiwa feels reinvigorated wrestling these matches and is making the most of them.

HARUKAZE’s homecoming was twice as special because today is also her birthday! It is such a special occasion that her mother came to see her wrestle. Her team originally won their match in 5 seconds when Shota immediately pinned Shinichiro Tominaga. Both sides agreed to an immediate rematch where HARUKAZE got to properly earn the victory by pinning YuuRI. After the match Ken Ohka and Shinjiro Otani brought out a birthday cake for her and everyone celebrated. HARUKAZE told everyone when she started wrestling her mother would tell her to stop everyday. Today she got to see her daughter be a winner, which made HARUKAZE very happy.

5. Ultimate Tag League 2022 – B Block: Shunma Katsumata & MAO (2) defeated Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul (0) when MAO pinned Sasaki with a Crucifix Pin (12:40).
6. Ultimate Tag League 2022 – A Block: Tetsuya Endo & Jun Akiyama (4) defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Hideki Okatani (0) when Endo pinned Okatani with the Burning Star Press (19:37).

A Block

1. Tetsuya Endo & Jun Akiyama (4)
2. Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ueno (2)
3. Kazusada Higuchi & Hideki Okatani (0)
-. Shuji Kondo & Kazuki Hirata (0)
-. Yuji Hino & Yukio Naya (0)

B Block

1. Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari (2)
-. Shunma Katsumata & MAO (2)
-. Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi (2)
4. HARASHIMA & Naomi Yoshimura (0)
-. Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul (0)

BURNING takes the early lead in the Ultimate Tag League with two wins out of two in the A Block. Eruption and Hideki Okatani in particular badly wanted to beat them today. They even came close when Kazusada Higuchi used the Doctor Bomb on Tetsuya Endo to set up Okatani’s Diving Knee Drop. But Jun Akiyama was there to break up the pin. Endo recovered, got a neafall with Tetsuya In The Sky and then won with the Shooting Star Press. Afterwards Akiyama had a question he just had to ask Endo. When did he become a burning star all of a sudden? Because from today onwards Endo is the “Burning Star” and his finisher should now be called the Burning Star Press!

There was a clash of champions in the B Block match. Daisuke Sasaki is the reigning DDT Universal Champion while MAO currently holds the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Things were looking grim for The 37KAMIINA when MJ Paul got rid of Shunma Katsumata with the Death Valley Bomb and DAMNATION T.A focused their double teaming on MAO. But Sasaki’s Crossface Lock was suddenly rolled over and countered into a Crucifix Pin, giving MAO the win out of nowhere. MAO then challenged Sasaki for a Double Title match with both the Universal and Iron Man Titles on the line!

5. Miyu Yamashita defeated Marika Kobashi with the Attitude Adjustment (10:09).

The homecoming show was important for Marika Kobashi. Today is the last time she wrestled in Yokohama before her graduation from Tokyo Joshi Pro this April. There were several times in Kobashi’s career when she was given a big match against Miyu Yamashita before she took an absence from pro wrestling. It happened in 2016 when she was ready to enter high school and 2019 when she was ready to enter university. So there was no other choice for her opponent today.

In the match itself Kobashi tried using the Run-Up Bulldog Headlock, the Front Neck Lock and also the Diving Chop inspired by one of her namesake’s Abdullah Kobayashi. But Yamashita ended up winning once she hit the Skull Kick and followed up with the Attitude Adjustment. She praised Kobashi for growing up and said it inspired herself to do her best today too. Kobashi said she loves TJPW but it breaks her heart that she was never good enough to beat Yamashita. However today has lit a fire beneath her and she will spend her last two months in wrestling stirring up TJPW. She ended the show by shouting “I love you! Gyau!”

Kamifuku, Noa and Miyamoto all tested positive while Itoh was identified as a close contact. This prompted the rest of the roster to take fresh PCR tests and they have since all come back negative.

7. 2nd “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Final: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe Vs Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino

Itoh will be able to return at the 11th February Korakuen Hall show and Kamifuku is aiming to be cleared in time to be on the show too. So for the moment their International Princess Title match is still on the schedule. However the match will get called off if Kamifuku’s condition does not improve by then. The timing of Noa and Miyamoto getting their positive results back might prevent them from being on the show depending on when they started their isolation periods. The easy solution if they can’t show up is to replace Noa with Miyamoto’s opponent Arisu Endo and just do six matches instead of seven.

They are also allowed to have one ringside attendant each to apply more oil to them whenever they ask for it. Danshoku Dieno believes Aoki came up with the stipulation because a greased up body is difficult to grab. In reality, Aoki picked the match because he wants Yumiko Hotta to be his attendant and rub his body down.

The main event is now sponsored by Maikon no Kohara, an Osaka grocery company that specializes in kelp related products. The store has the naming rights for the venue, which is why it’s called Suminoe Maikon Hall. The winners of the main event will receive an award from the sponsors.

At the last show Minoru Fujita surprised everyone by willingly joining DAMNATION T.A after he lost to Daisuke Sasaki. He betrayed his friends from ChocoPro in the process, apparently teaching them a lesson about how kindness holds them back when it matters. Chris Brookes gets the first shot at revenge but he has to team with Akito & Toui Kojima instead of Masahiro Takanashi & Baaliyan Akki.

Match #2 is now a 3 Way because of Danshoku Dieno’s absence with Covid.
