6. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Naruki Doi, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata defeated Yuji Hino, Makoto Oishi & Shiori Asahi (c) when Hirata pinned Oishi with Miracle One Shot Cradle (15:22). *Ω fails in V1. Naruki Doi, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata become the 48th KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions!
7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – B Block: Kazusada Higuchi (5) defeated MAO (2) with a Rotating Foot Hold (11:41).
8. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – A Block: Naomi Yoshimura (2) defeated Yuki Ueno (4) with the Osaka Pride (22:57).
Naomi Yoshimura continues his unbeaten streak against his former Nautilus tag partner Yuki Ueno in singles matches. And not a moment too soon because this may kickstart Yoshimura’s recovery in the D-Ou Grand Prix. He blocked both the WR and also Ueno’s new Rolling Guillotine Ace Crusher. A Power Bomb, Lariat and the Osaka Pride only got a nearfall so Yoshimura had to hit the Osaka Pride a second time to earn the win. Yoshimura called this match his scariest one of the tournament but he proved he still a survivor of the D-Ou GP. He still has a chance to top the group as long as he wins his remaining matches. Ueno is frustrated he still cannot beat his generation rival. He believes he is the strongest to carry DDT on his back and will win the D-Ou no matter what.
As the days are counting down, a few of the wrestlers are getting desperate to win in order to remain in the running for the final. MAO is one example, jumping Kazusada Higuchi before the bell to start their match. He tried using the Koppojutsu skills he used to beat Higuchi in last year’s tournament, including the Clothespin. However this time Higuchi was ready for that move and had counters for it. The Brain Claw was also well scouted so Higuchi thought outside the box and pinned MAO with a Rotating Foot Hold. The result shows that MAO is not the only wrestler with tricks up his sleeve, Higuchi has been hiding stuff too. MAO is now unable to reach the final but he will keep fighting just in case the group winner pulls out of the final due to kidney stones or appendicitis. Hey it could happen!
RSP has been counting on his size to smash his way through the A Block. Today he ended up being overpowered by Tetsuya Endo! Agility played a major part as well because Endo flipped his way out of the GTF and then used an Overhead Kick to stun his opponent. The moment of strength came when Endo gave RSP the Torture Rack Bomb! RSP had enough fight left in him to kick out but the Burning Star Press put him away afterward. The performance shows that Endo’s ankle injury isn’t much of a problem anymore. He told the Osaka fans to keep an eye on him because once he wins the Grand Prix, he is going after all of the singles championships in DDT!
The build up to Daisuke Sasaki Vs Joey Janela promised a dirty fight and we got one. They fought outside the ring, attacked each other with chairs and Sasaki even Superplexed Janela out of the ring onto a bunch of ringside attendants! The chair usage went beyond what was acceptable and Yukinori Matsui tried to stop it. The unintentional distraction led to Sasaki giving Janela a Low Blow and then Janela giving a Low Blow back to Sasaki. However Sasaki found an opening to give one more Low Blow and then rolled up Janela in a Samson Clutch for the win. It revives Sasaki’s chances in the tournament but Janela is still in the chase for the final too.
Chris Brookes wasted no time in trying to finish off Yukio Naya by immediately doing the Praying Mantis Bomb to him before their match even began. Naya kicked out of the pin and remained on the defensive while Brookes continued his attack. The table turned when Naya hit a Knee Lift. He later hit a Choke Slam and pinned Brookes with the Back Drop. The win gives Naya a lot of confidence because of how experienced his opponent is. He now sees himself as the eye of the typhoon in the B Block. Brookes was taken aback because he didn’t realise just how strong Naya has become.
Outside of the tournament it was still an eventful show for DDT today. Naruki Doi made his first appearance on a regular DDT show and came out of it as a new champion! He teamed with DISASTER BOX members Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata to beat Ω for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. It almost didn’t look that way with Ω being a united force. Makoto Oishi & Shiori Asahi used double team moves to great effect and Yuji Hino got rid of Owashi with the Funkin’ BOMB. Oishi gave Hirata the Miracle Ecstasy but Hirata somehow kicked out and used the Miracle One Shot Cradle to get the win out of nowhere. Owashi called the win a once in a hundred year miracle. Hirata corrected him and said it is once in a thousand years. Now that he holds a DDT championship that means he’s going to be here more often. Doi introduced himself to the fans after the match and said DDT was the first promotion to contact him after he turned freelance, so here he is. There are a lot of challengers he would like to face but one is on his mind. He heard there was once a DDT wrestler who looked a lot like him called Daichi Kakimoto…
Aja Kong got to experience the Pheromones madness. Both Sanshiro Takagi and Hisaya Imabayashi were absent from the show so the ring announcer Ken Kato was given the power to call off the match if things went out of control. He’s a big fan of Kong so he was really looking forward to seeing her fight. His dream was ruined by Danshoku Dieno & Yuki Iino. They used their seesaw attack with the wooden plank on HARASHIMA until Kong attacked them with the steel can. Pheromones got their own back by coming up with ways to stick their rear ends against Kong’s face until Kato called off the match. He also used his jacket to wipe Kong’s face after the match. Dieno & Iino probably needed it more because their backsides were now covered in Kong’s facepaint!
During the show Keiko Takeshita, Konosuke’s mother, came down to the ring and gave everyone an update on what life has been like ever since she became the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion. Every day people attack her to try and become champion but she always fights them off. She also had to defend the belt against a motorbike one time. Shunma Katsumata came down with a bag full of 551 pork buns as a gift for Keiko. He explained he will be wrestling in America this January and wants to go as the Iron Man Champion to increase his popularity. He also really likes Keiko so it would mean a lot if she gave him the title. Keiko was touched by Katsumata’s plea and agreed. With Matsui looking over, the title was officially transferred over from Keiko to Katsumata. Suddenly, Kazuma Sumi rolled over Katsumata with a School Boy. Keiko kicked Matsui to stop the pin count and then gave Sumi the Okanmaker to prevent a title change from happening. She’s not going to let anybody take the title away from Katsumata while she is here!

BASARA “BASARA 206 ~RYU TOKOTO~”, 11/12/2022 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. Ryuichi Sekine Vs X
2. Union MAX Title: Isami Kodaka (c) Vs Fuminori Abe
Over two years ago Fuminori Abe won the Union MAX Title under unfortunate circumstances when the champion Masahiro Takanashi suffered a bad injury during their match. Abe became the new champion as a result but he never really accepted the reign as being fully legitimate. After winning the Chouten ~Itadaki~ tournament this week he thinks now is the time for him to challenge for the belt again and prove to himself he deserves to be the champion. Doing that against Isami Kodaka, the man who has held the MAX Title the most would definitely prove it.
Ryuichi Sekine returns to the ring after spending almost two years away from pro wrestling to take care of his mental health. While he was away, Abe won the rights to become Ryuichi Sekine II but he purposely never used the gimmick knowing the original would one day return.
1. Chouten ~Itadaki~ – A Block Final: Fuminori Abe defeated FUMA with the I’ll Be Back Style Ham Roll (11:20).
2. Chouten ~Itadaki~ – B Block Final: Yasu Urano defeated Masato Kamino with a Urahane Origatame (13:16).

5. Isami Kodaka, Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita defeated Ryota Nakatasu, SAGAT & Akiyori Takizawa when Kodaka pinned SAGAT with the Modified Samson Clutch (13:12).
6. Chouten ~Itadaki~ – Final: Fuminori Abe defeated Yasu Urano with the Modified Manjigatame (23:32).
Fuminori Abe wins the Chouten ~Itadaki~ tournament after he defeated Yasu Urano in the final! Afterwards he challenged Isami Kodaka for the Union MAX Title at Korakuen Hall on 11th December.
The return of the Turnabout Pro Wrestling Trial brought Kodaka to court accused of blackmail. The Prosecutor Banana Senga said Kodaka used blackmail to deprive Gouma of his full name, Gouma Ryu. Since Gouma was Kodaka’s attorney in this trial, he had to defend that incident. He lost the Ryu part of his name because of a match stipulation and had to follow the rules. The two agreed if they could beat Kodaka then they could get Gouma’s name back. They won the match and Kodaka was declared guilty. However, Kodaka asked the court for an appeal over the result. It’s been granted so for now Gouma has been temporarily renamed Gouma Ryu (Reserve) until further notice.
Ryuichi Sekine announced he will have his comeback match on the 11th December Korakuen show. He took a break from wrestling back at the end of January 2021 to take care of his mental health.

6. GanJo Three Big Singles Match: Yuna Manase Vs Echika Miyabi
It’s time for Ganbare☆Joshi to finally do those big series of singles matches that shows are built around sometimes. Most of the division are taking on each other but Yuna Manase is getting a brand new opponent making her Ganbare☆Pro debut. Echika Miyabi is a trans joshi wrestler who made her pro wrestling debut with P.P.P. Tokyo in September. Miyabi is 21 years old, 178cm tall and weighs 75kg. She had a background in baseball and judo before she transitioned during her college years. She worked at a muscle girls themed bar where she was introduced to pro wrestling by her workmate, Chanyota and began training with her.
It will be a few weeks until the next Spirit Of Ganbare Title defence so until then Hartley Jackson and Mizuki Watase will have plenty of time to prepare for it. Former champion Tatsuhito Takaiwa is coming back to give Watase some help in his preparation. Jackson will be teaming with Seiya Morohashi for this match.
Kouki Iwasaki’s final match in Ganpro will be against Keisuke Ishii but before that happens, he wants to team with him one last time. Their friendship will be put to the test against Ganpro’s original best buddies, Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari.

2018 was the last time the World Omori Title was defended outside the JR Omori Station. It’s been years since DDT held a show there but they are finally going back. It was determined four years ago that Chikara would defend the title against Masahiro Takanashi next but Takanashi will be busy wrestling in Singapore. So instead Soma Takao has been chosen to challenge for the belt even though he does not want to. The next No. 1 Contender for the following year’s event is usually determined on this show too.

A local festival got to witness the chaos of a DDT Falls Count Anywhere match. Comedian and part-time wrestler Nabe Yakan came along for the ride but probably wished he didn’t after HARASHIMA used a Gorilla Press to throw him onto some chairs. A ladder came into play where Makoto Oishi and Shunma Katsumata fought on top of. Oishi Headbutted Katsumata off the ladder onto the same bunch of chairs. Katsumata recovered and placed Oishi on top of a table. He then Splashed him through the table after jumping off the ladder to get the win.

6. Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh & Hyper Misao defeated Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Mahiro Kiryu when Misao pinned Kiryu with the Hypami Returns (15:16).
Next weekend Miyu Yamashita and Hyper Misao are travelling over to England to wrestle at EVE’s big “WRESTLE QUEENDOM V” doubleshot. Both of them have chances to win an EVE championship too. It will be the first time Misao will wrestle overseas so she is very excited. So much so she appeared in the main event dressed as Harry Potter carrying a UK flag while pulling along her luggage. She also did some of her pre-match speech in English so she can still be effective on the microphone over there. Yamashita, Misao & Maki Itoh won in the main event, giving Misao peace of mind before she goes on her trip. She said wrestlers from Tokyo Joshi Pro are getting invited to promotions overseas more often because of the fan support motivating them to put on good shows.
Willow Nightingale’s first tour of TJPW ends today but there is a path opening up for her to return. She was originally meant to face Miu Watanabe back in July and the match has yet to be rescheduled. Since Watanabe is currently the International Princess Champion, Nightingale likes the idea of challenging her for the title so their match can finally happen. Watanabe welcomes the idea too.
A trainee named Himawari is the latest addition to the rookie class that contains Shino, Haru & Momo. Himawari previously appeared on a few Actwres girl’Z shows under the name Himawari Sato and is currently training for her full pro wrestling debut. Her appearance and current name caught the attention online of another former “Himawari” who used to wrestle in TJPW…

6. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – A Block: Yuki Ueno (4) defeated RSP (4) with a Rolling Guillotine Ace Crusher (12:29).
7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – B Block: Kazusada Higuchi (3) Vs Yuji Hino (5) ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).
The second half of today’s Yokohama doubleheader ended with Kazusada Higuchi and Yuji Hino fighting each other to a 30 minute draw. A lot of it was built around Chop battles between the two inside and outside the ring. Shukan Puroresu reported 182 Chops were thrown in total (Higuchi threw 100 and Hino threw 82)! Higuchi used the Brain Claw as a counter to the Fuckin’ BOMB but Hino applied his own Brain Claw to Higuchi in response. Hino’s claw looked to be the stronger version against Higuchi’s but time ran out before anything could be determined. Hino remains undefeated and in first place. He compares Higuchi’s strength to those of Yuji Okabayashi and Daisuke Sekimoto. However he thinks Higuchi still has a long way to go and should focus on making his body bigger. Higuchi admits he probably put too much focus on the Chop battle because it was too much fun.
Yuki Ueno pulled out a new finisher to give RSP his first loss in DDT. The WR was ineffective against RSP due to the weight difference between the two. So Ueno used a move that for the moment is called the Rolling Guillotine Ace Crusher. It looks like a more flippy version of the Overdrive/Play Of The Day. Ueno said no matter how much damage he takes, it’s all about getting those two points at the end. He is the one who enjoys DDT the most and wants to make it to the final instead of anybody big or scary like RSP. He has a big match coming up next in the block against Naomi Yoshimura. RSP said if he had to lose to anyone, he is honored it was from Ueno because he is one of the best. He also made comments about Joey Janela, reminding “The Bad Boy” that boys do not become kings, grown men do.
Speaking of Janela, he lived up to his promise to score an upset win over Tetsuya Endo! The result almost did not happen that way when Endo blocked a Superplex and instead gave Janela an Avalanche Canadian Destroyer. Janela then kicked out of the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb so Endo went for the Burning Star Press. It was blocked by Janela’s knees and Endo was then rolled over into a Cradle for the surprise result. Janela is still fired up over losing his first match in the tournament and now has Daisuke Sasaki next on the schedule. He now promises to be a bloodthirsty wolf in Osaka and give everyone there a festival of blood! Endo still isn’t sure if his ankle is at 100% but he does not blame today’s loss on that because he was able to do the Sasuke Special. He warns Janela that the DDT Extreme Title is still in his sight even though he lost today.
KANON is the first wrestler to be mathematically eliminated from reaching the final. His fourth match out of five in the block was a defeat to Chris Brookes. The Cobra Twist that KANON relies so much on was skillyfully countered by Brookes into an Octopus Stretch. From there the move was turned into the House Piano Death and KANON had no choice but to give up. Brookes thinks he had the advantage because he only had one tournament match today while KANON had two. But he also thinks KANON does so many unnecessary things to try and throw his opponent off their game. That doesn’t work on Brookes because his soul is already dead. KANON was angry backstage and broke down into tears because he cannot fulfill his promise to meet with Sasaki in the final. The only thing that can cheer him up is if he kills Yukio Naya in his last group match!
Yukio Sakaguchi decided to produce a match without putting himself in it. So since he was absent, Kazuki Hirata figured he would make a good replacement and came out with Eruption acting and looking just like Sakaguchi! He and Hideki Okatani spent the match fighting with Pokotan while Gota Ihashi creeped out Saki Akai with his lust for her. Hirata knocked off Pokotan’s head, revealing it was Sakaguchi in the mascot costume all along! Hirata freaked out until he was caught by Eruption so Sakaguchi could Penalty Kick him. Sakaguchi then finished Hirata off with a Diving Body Press. Ihashi tried to pose with Eruption after the match but Sakaguchi threw Pokotan’s head at him.
DDT will be returning to the JR Omori Station in Tokyo on 27th November for their first outdoor show at the location in four years. The annual show always featured a defence of the World Omori Title which was last held by Chikara. Four years ago Masahiro Takanashi became the No. 1 Contender for the belt but this year he will be in Singapore while the show takes place. Soma Takao has been nominated as the next contender because of his reputation as the strongest drinker in Ota Ward. Takao does not want to be in the match but he is being forced to take part.

3. Sanshiro Takagi, HARASHIMA, Akito & Makoto Oishi defeated Hideki Okatani, Toi Kojima, Yuki Ishida & Takeshi Masada when Oishi submitted Ishida with the Fujiyama Knee Lock (10:18).
4. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – A Block: Joey Janela (2) defeated Naomi Yoshimura (0) with a Diving Foot Stomp (11:29).
5. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – B Block: KANON (2) defeated MAO (2) with the Cobra Twist (17:37).
6. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – A Block: RSP (4) defeated Daisuke Sasaki (1) with a Frog Splash (11:00).
The first of two D-Ou Grand Prix shows taking place today saw the foreign entrants score big victories over the DDT big shots. RSP went into a fight with Daisuke Sasaki and came out of it the last one standing. He used a Diving Body Attack, the GTF and then a Frog Splash to win in the end. After the match RSP told the fans he will win the Grand Prix and he will keep on telling everyone that until it happens and he becomes the king of DDT! Backstage Sasaki said he will go to Ohio, gain 50 pounds of weight and kill RSP as revenge!
At least the other DAMNATION T.A wrestler in the tournament got his first win on this show. KANON found another opponent who shares a link to TAKA Michinoku like he does. MAO grew up influenced by Michinoku Pro and uses the Michinoku Driver II for that reason. He used the move here but KANON kicked out of it and then dodged the Cannonball 450. A series of cradles exchanges ended in KANON catching MAO in the Cobra Twist to make him submit. KANON said he enjoyed fighting MAO so much he wants to do it again but at somewhere different than the D-Ou GP. However he’s only won a single match so far and feels like he is standing on the edge of a cliff. MAO accepted defeat because KANON is a “trueblood” disciple of Michinoku while he is just an imitator and “an alien born from a mutant Earth.”
Joey Janela scores his first points while Naomi Yoshimura is now 0 for 2. Janela was aggressive from the get go and used a combination of Face Kick followed by a Package Piledriver and then a Diving Foot Stomp to get the three count. Janela explained his loss to Yuki Ueno ignited his fighting spirit. He faces Tetsuya Endo on the next show taking place later today and promises his win there will be even more surprising than when he won the DDT Extreme Title. Yoshimura is trying to figure out why he’s having a bad start to the tournament. He does not feel in bad shape or anything like that. His next match is against Ueno and he promised not to lose to him, no matter how unrefined he is feeling right now.
Before the Pheromones match began, Danshoku Dieno warned everyone that Yuki Iino was feeling so excited over today being “Nice Butt Day” that he could not hold himself back. Iino had to be stopped from undressing himself but he eventually did it anyway, stripping completely down to a little piece of lingerie that left nothing to the imagination (no picture of it because I don’t want this site to get blocked anywhere). He won with a move called the Sexy Arabian Nights which involved him running the ropes and hopping over his opponent People’s Elbow style over and over until they submit.
