The next International Princess Title defence is a rematch three years in the making. Yuki Arai’s reign with the title has inspired Moka Miyamoto to challenge her and be next in line to carry the championship. They’ve been tag partners before but as opponents Arai has been on the winning side against Miyamoto in almost all of their matches together.

The full card for “WRESTLE PRINCESS V” is here. Rika Tatsumi, Yuki Aino & Shino Suzuku are being gathered together to fight the trio of monsters (if you think Pom Harajuku counts as a monster). The happy couple Ram Kaichow and Raku must now face each other one on one. At least Kaichow is happy she now gets to have Raku all to herself in the ring. Kakeru Sekiguchi returns to Tokyo Joshi Pro for her second appearance in the promotion. Also Runa Okubo and Haru Kazashiro face each other in a singles match for the first time in almost a year.

It’s the return of a classic match stipulation. Shunma Katsumata is quite into death matches so Akito decided to bring back the IPPON Lighttube Death Match for him. However this time it is going to be done as a tag team match with Kazuma Sumi as Katsumata’s partner and Yuni as Akito’s teammate. There will be only one lighttube and whoever breaks it will lose. Since the DDT Extreme Title is on the line that means it is a successful defence if Katsumata’s team wins. But if Akito’s team wins then Akito will become the new champion. The stipulation works that way even if the result comes down to Sumi and/or Yuni being involved in the finish.

Yuki Iino is the new Universal Champion after he successfully cashed in his title shot on MAO yesterday. He very quickly set up a defence against Yukio Naya in order to prove who is the best heavyweight in DDT. Their singles match last month ended in a double knockout draw.
