10. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) defeated Ryo Mizunami with the Tear Drop (21:19).
*V4 for Miu Watanabe.

The power of Princess Aniki has met her match in Tokyo Joshi Pro! Today saw Miu Watanabe cement her Princess Of Princess Title reign by beating Ryo Mizunami in her fourth defence. It is also the first time Mizunami has been beaten in TJPW. Mizunami made it a fight to remember by throwing Chops and Leg Drops on the champion as well as slamming her into the corner post outside the ring. She even dared Watanabe to try and spin her around in the Giant Swing. It took some effort but Watanabe pulled off the move. She also had the strength to use the Swinging Backbreaker and Batting Hammer strikes. Mizunami was able to drop Watanabe with the HOT LIMIT but took too much damage to go for the pin. She later climbed the top rope but Watanabe followed and took her down with an Avalanche Tear Drop. She then used the normal version of her finisher twice but a stubborn Mizunami refused to stay lying down. Watanabe then lifted her into the Canadian Backbreaker but it turned out to be an Inverted Tear Drop instead. She then hit Mizunami from behind with a Batting Hammer to the back of the head, followed it with the Laserbeam chop and got the three count with one last Tear Drop.

Watanabe was happy to have won the match and defend the title in front of such a warm atmosphere today. She thanked Mizunami for being a tough opponent but the title means too much for her to lose it now. Backstage Mizunami said she Watanabe was stronger today, maybe because she has the pride of a champion. Mizunami believes her own wrestling career is not about how many times she won but how many times she got back up after she lost. She’s going to get back up from today’s defeat because she now has more reasons to fight in TJPW. Watanabe said with four successful defences under her belt she now has a lot more confidence to become a perfect champion who will make TJPW grow even bigger! The Canadian Backbreaker Tear Drop was an idea she thought of a long time ago but she instead focused on perfecting the regular version of the move. When she saw Mizunami keep on getting up it forced her to try out the new version. Since it helped lead her to victory she is thinking about using it more for the rest of her title reign.

121000000 have regained the Princess Tag Team Titles! Sadly it comes at the cost of Daisy Monkey’s reign. Some rusty teamwork from the challengers was taken advantage of by the champions using their speed. Arisu Endo ducked out of a sandwich attack causing Miyu Yamashita to knee Maki Itoh in the head by accident. Suzume gave Yamashita the Ring A Bell, Itoh came back to give Suzume a Stunner and Endo flipped her over with a Waterwheel Drop. Endo avoided the Attitude Adjustment to put Yamashita in the Camel Clutch while Suzume held Itoh down in a Sleeper Hold. Itoh was able to grab Yamashita’s hand giving her the encourgement to stand back up and use the Attitude Adjustment to throw Endo on top of Suzume to break up the two submission holds. 121000000 later used the DDT/German Suplex combo on Endo and Yamashita followed it up with the Skull Kick. Suzume was there to break the pin but she then ate the Headbutt/High Knee sandwich attack. Itoh kept her out of the picture so Yamashita could finish off Endo. There was one last gasp of life left from Endo but Yamashita stopped her with a Buzzsaw Kick and scored the pin with the Crash Rabbit Heat.

Yamashita & Itoh now get to re-do their tag title run that only lasted two weeks the first time around. Itoh admitted she’s never been more scared or sorry for herself than for this match but she got through it and won because Yamashita was by her side. Yamashita is ready to defend the titles right away. She already thinks there is one happening in two weeks time but Itoh told her nothing was decided yet. Itoh also welcomes Daisy Monkey to a rematch with the titles on the line. Suzume is obviously upset to lose the title but she thinks it is not going to be out of reach for her. Endo said Daisy Monkey will make their dream of becoming the strongest come true again.

A championship record was broken today when Yuki Arai defended the International Princess Title for the fifth time. That is now the most successful defences for one reign in the title’s history. Moka Miyamoto switched up her attacks by targeting Arai’s legs and then her arms. Arai used a Big Boot as a vital counter as well as the Scorpion Death Lock. Miyamoto would do her best to keep fighting but ultimately fell to the Full Nelson Buster followed by the Finally. Miyamoto was disappointed she couldn’t live up to everyone’s expectations and she is upset she couldn’t avenge the first time she lost to Arai three years ago. She still wants to grab every opportunity she can to wrestle for championships and be in big matches. She also wants to continue having matches with Arai both as opponents and as tag partners. Arai is happy with how much heart she is putting into her matches. She wants even more title defences so she can become a champion that nobody will ever beat! She also felt at home wrestling in Makuhari Messe because she often performs as an idol here away from TJPW.

Xia Zhao wanted to make an impact for her first time wrestling in Japan. The former WWE wrestler did just that by pinning Yuki Kamifuku and spoiling the VENYU reunion. Mizuki used the Whirling Candy to wipe out VENY and Zhao used a Cyclone Kick called the Thunder Strike to get the win on Kamifuku. After the match Zhao made a challenge for both the Queen Of Asia Title and the VPW Women’s Title, henceforth collectively known as the Asian Double Crown. Kamifuku wasn’t happy to find herself in this situation but she accepted the challenge for sometime down the road. Backstage Kamifuku also apologised to VENY for losing and wants to make it up to her by doing something overseas together. She explained she prefers to defend both of her titles together because if she was to lose, she would prefer to lose both belts at the same time. But if she wins she looks twice as cool for defending two titles at once. Zhao said it was a great honor to wrestle in Japan and have her first match here be in TJPW. She is sure the next time she comes back will be for the title match.

In the leadup to the match between Shoko Nakajima and Emi Sakura both women talked about their long history with each other unknown to most wrestling fans. However the kind words and friendly feelings were not on show when Sakura made it to the ring. She rejected Nakajima’s pre-match handshake. She also beat Nakajima’s chest red with Machine Gun Chops. The match went back and forth with nearfalls from Sakura using La Magistral Cradle and the Double Arm Backbreaker while Nakajima used the Northern Lights Suplex and Double Arm DDT. But Sakura took down Nakajima from the top rope and hit the Queen’s Gambit for the victory. Sakura offered to shake Nakajima’s hand after the match but this time Nakajima ignored it. That would lead to Sakura interrupting Nakajima’s post-match interview backstage. She taunted her for crying and accused Nakajima of being happy that she lost instead of being mad because she now has a new challenge to overcome. Sakura also said there is a new rookie in ChocoPro who just debuted and she admires Nakajima. Sakura would love to see Yawata Hiyori face her hero some day but she’s also sure Hiyori is upset that Nakajima lost today. Sakura suggested maybe they can both go cry with Hiyori together!

A match mixing team of monsters with an inexperienced celebrity referee was bound to be chaotic. Aja Kong & Max The Impaler made sure Pom Harajuku would go through the match with them whether she wanted to be there or not. Shiori Aoki (formerly from SKE48) wasn’t concerned about that because she wanted to focus on doing cartwheels while counting pinfalls. She also joined in line when Kong & Max used Harajuku as a jump rope for the other team to hop over. The match also turned into a brawl outside the ring but to give Aoki credit she got everyone back in by using fast counts. Things fell apart when Aoki stopped Kong from using the Steel Can as a weapon. While they were both holding it, Shino Suzuki pushed Kong and made her knock out Aoki with the can! Daisuke Kiso ran in as the substitute ref but he would also get knocked out. The fans chanted Aoki’s name to revive her and she was able to count Kong pinning Suzuki with the Back Drop. Aoki thinks she did a good job and took it seriously. This is supposed to be the last time she will be a wrestling referee but she is open to doing this again if she’s asked to. Yuki Aino thought her team would have won if Harajuku would have stopped running away from them. Kong & Max were also annoyed by that but Harajuku swears she was just wandering around a bit, not hiding. Rika Tatsumi blamed Suzuki over the loss and gave her an Airplane Spin backstage as punishment.

Raku and Ram Kaichow believe there is not enough romance in wrestling so they decided to treat their match against each other like a date. For example the opening lock-up spot instead turned out to be Raku giving Kaichow a hug. The fans then got upset at Yukinori Matsui whenever he tried to order the two to wrestle each other. They then went to a table set up outside the ring with cake and soft drinks for the happy couple to enjoy while Matsui started counting them out. Raku snuck back into the ring early while Kaichow decided to finish the cake in time to make it back by the 19 count. Kaichow finally decided to take the match seriously when Raku tried to pin her with the Oyasumi Express. After a few proper wrestling moves, Raku then sang Kaichow to sleep with a lullaby and decided to take a nap with her in the middle of the ring. Matsui started a 10 count and made it to 9 when Kaichow woke up and got back to her feet. But she was too sleepy to continue and fell on top of a still napping Raku. Matsui decided it looked like a pin and made the three count so Kaichow won the match. Raku was still asleep though so Kaichow gave her a little kiss to wake her up. Backstage Kaichow was still sleepy but was happy that their “wedding night” took place in the ring. But then she started thinking today was all a dream and she decided to go back to sleep.

The last time Kakeru Sekiguchi was in TJPW some people claimed she looks identical to Mahiro Kiryu. So TJPW decided to team the two of them together today. Any argument against the claim wasn’t helped by Wakana Uehara & Toga struggling to figure out who was who. Even worse, Sekiguchi also copied Kiryu’s Apology Knee Drop spot. But there was nothing for Kiryu & Sekiguchi to worry about after that because they went on to win the match. They properly introduced themselves to each other afterwards and told reporters there was always something that got in the way of them meeting each other until today. Sekiguchi told Kiryu that people think even their voices sound alike! The two had fun though and would like to team up again. Uehara described how the match felt like she was surrounded by handsome people. Toga thinks she is more handsome than either Kiryu or Sekiguchi so even though she lost the tag match, at least she won the battle of good looks.

Today was the first time all three members of the 2024 Class got to team together in a 6-Woman Tag Match. Meanwhile the other team all found something in common by wearing fluffy wrestling boots. Uta Takami was able to hit a Missile Dropkick on Kaya Toribami and Kira Summer followed up by using the Samoan Drop. Chika Nanase applied the Inari Torii but Toribami countered it into the Bird Cage while her teammates cleared the ring. Toribami then Arm Dragged Nanase into the centre of the ring so she could go to the ropes and hit the Sento Choryu for the three count. She admitted backstage she didn’t expect the other team to work together so beautifully. HIMAWARI pointed out they must have been fired to team up together for the first time. Yoshiko Hasegawa now knows what the heat is like from the 2024 Class and will have to work hard so she won’t lose to them.

Almost one year after their first singles match against each other it was time for Runa Okubo and Haru Kazashiro to face off for Round 2. This time it was Kazashiro who won the match by pinning Okubo with the Fisherman Suplex. She cried over the result but it wasn’t with tears of joy. She admits she made a lot of mistakes during the match doesn’t believe she gave it her all to deserve the victory. She would like to wrestle Okubo again and work harder so her next win will feel like a proper one.

A special tag match was announced for the next Korakuen Hall show on 6th October. Miu Watanabe & Miyu Yamashita will team up to take on Meiko Satomura & Shoko Nakajima! Satomura is planning to retire from pro wrestling next year but she was due to appear in TJPW one more time to settle some unfinished business with Yamashita. Watanabe is looking forward to it because the first TJPW show she attended after passing her audition for The Up Up Girls was the one where Satomura beat Yamashita in a singles match.

9. Princess Tag Team Titles: Suzume & Arisu Endo (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh
10. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Ryo Mizunami

A contract signing ceremony was held in Tokyo today for the three of the matches taking place at “WRESTLE PRINCESS V” this Sunday. It was a last chance for the wrestlers in these matches to express their enthusiasm for the matches to the press. Ryo Mizunami talked how the first time she went to Tokyo Joshi Pro two years ago it was “the pink girl” who made the biggest impression on her. Miu Watanabe was her first opponent in TJPW so it is fitting that they meet again this time in the main event with the Princess Of Princess Title on the line. Her motivation is at an all time high after winning the Tokyo Princess Cup and she will be even more motivated knowing just how much stronger Watanabe will be on the day. Mizunami intends to win the Princess Title and rewrite a new page in the TJPW history books. If she becomes the champion then her next goal is to defend it against every single wrestler in TJPW.

Watanabe says she still has goals and dreams she wants to accomplish as the champion. One of them is to have a big match in a big venue like Makuhari Messe so she will get to check that off her list. When they fought each other two years ago Watanabe felt everything about Mizunami was overwhelming. That momentum has only grown since then so Watanabe admits to being a little bit scared. But she is not the same person from two years ago either. She named each of the previous challengers she defended the title against to show she has the confidence to continue carrying the title. From here on out she’s ready for more title defences, to achieve more dreams and to lead TJPW. She would have liked to have had a warm up tag match against Mizunami because that kind of preparation helps her relax. Mizunami however prefers that none took place for that very reason.

The contract signing for the Princess Tag Team Titles match showed what both teams are currently like. Maki Itoh only just returned to Japan yesterday and talked about dealing with her injury as well as her crazy schedule in America. It bothered her a lot that she could not compete in any prelim matches. When this title match was announced she was worried she would not heal in time and would not have wanted to fight while she is still recovering. She got depressed, considered quitting pro wrestling and even looked into getting a telemarketing job. But then she thought about Miyu Yamashita and wondered if that meant someone else would be teaming with Yamashita instead of her? Itoh then got fired up and realized that with Yamashita by her side she can become as strong as she wants. She is aware the TJPW fans want to see Daisy Monkey beat 121000000 but she doesn’t care about that. She cares about winning the tag titles with Yamashita again to make up for everything they couldn’t do the first time around. Yamashita admitted she didn’t stay in contact while Itoh was in America. But she did give her advice to start eating dried sardines to help with her recovery.

Yamashita feels like time has stood still for her and Itoh ever since 121000000 lost the titles in their first defence. She said they need to win the belts back and achieve 10 successful defences otherwise they should break up the team! Itoh was shocked to hear that idea and told Yamashita they haven’t even won back the titles yet. Suzume said after two successful defences she understands the weight of being the tag champion even more. She also has more respect for all of the previous champion teams who held it before her. Even though Daisy Monkey are the current champions, Suzume still does not feel like they are the strongest so they need to beat a team like 121000000 to continue that journey. Arisu Endo thinks if this match happened sooner she would be feeling scared but now she’s not scared at all. Daisy Monkey respect 121000000 for everything they’ve done overseas to spread TJPW across the world. They want to do their bit to spread TJPW too by bringing the tag titles across all of Japan and then to every other country afterward!

The reveal that Raku and Ram Kaichow were booked in a match against each other was a surprise to everybody, especially to the happy couple. During the press conference Kaichow looked around the room searching for Tetsuya Koda. When she found him he was leaning on a wall nearby on the verge of falling asleep. Kaichow was already mad at him for booking the match and now here he was taking a nap in front of them! Raku calmed her down by saying she is looking forward to the match and they should treat it like a date. Raku told Kaichow the ring in Makuhari Messe will be all nice and warm enough for the two of them to take a nap in. A reporter then asked them what does winning or losing the date mean to them? Raku said winning or losing is having Kaichow love her forever. She wants to bring take Kaichow into her dreams. Kaichow called that a 100 out of 100 answer and wherever they go together will be a date, even if it’s in a wrestling ring. She then disparged the entire wrestling scene for not being romantic enough and they should all follow Raku’s example.

5. Special Single Match: Tetsuya Endo Vs To-y
6. Special Single Match: Yuki Iino Vs Makoto Oishi
7. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada (c) Vs MAO & Shunma Katsumata

Poor Takeshi Masada still isn’t getting much respect despite being one half of the KO-D Tag Team Champions. At the contract signing for this title match ShunMao called CDK their rivals instead of SCHADENFREUDE International and Chris Brookes even agreed with that notion. On the bright side Brookes is advising Masada to wrestle the match in their own unique way. That matters to his development just as much as winning or losing.

Makoto Oishi’s farewell tour brings him over to Yuki Ueno for what could be their last singles match together.

If To-y is still holding his Right To Challenge Shield by the time this show happens then Tetsuya Endo has a big chance to win it and set up another shot at Aoki for the KO-D Title. Akito could also possibly risk his Shield in a match against Kazuki Hirata. Meanwhile Masahiro Takanashi is laying low and hiding away in multi-man tag matches where the risk of directly losing a fall is much much lower.

Ryuichi “Fire” Kawakami is not running away from DDT after losing to Naya. He lost clean to Naya when they finally faced each other in a singles match but they will meet again in an 8-Man Tag Match here.

9. Princess Tag Team Titles: Suzume & Arisu Endo (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh
10. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Ryo Mizunami

There was a contract signing held today for Yuki Arai and Moka Miyamoto to promote the International Princess Title match. Miyamoto spoke about always valuing the spirit of harmony and how she incorporates Japanese elements into her wrestling. That is how she created the Korokan move during her first attempt to win the IP Title in 2022. So her goal if she becomes the champion is to spread those feelings across the world. Arai would like to see Miyamoto win the title if the champion was somebody else but she will defend it to the death against her. She also wants to start defending the title overseas, especially if it helps SKE48 with their efforts to grow internationally. If Arai beats Miyamoto then she will hold the record for most IP Title defences with 5 wins. She wants to be proud of her title reign and hopes this match will be memorable for reasons more than just her breaking the record.

The “HIEN” branding is bringing in more fresh faces to BASARA. Ganbare☆Pro are sending over Yumehito Imanari & Mizuki Watase as a tag team. The next International Princess Title defence is a rematch three years in the making. Yuki Arai’s reign with the title has inspired Moka Miyamoto to challenge her and be next in line to carry the championship. They’ve been tag partners before but as opponents Arai has been on the winning side against Miyamoto in almost all of their matches together.

The full card for “WRESTLE PRINCESS V” is here. Rika Tatsumi, Yuki Aino & Shino Suzuku are being gathered together to fight the trio of monsters (if you think Pom Harajuku counts as a monster). The happy couple Ram Kaichow and Raku must now face each other one on one. At least Kaichow is happy she now gets to have Raku all to herself in the ring. Kakeru Sekiguchi returns to Tokyo Joshi Pro for her second appearance in the promotion. Also Runa Okubo and Haru Kazashiro face each other in a singles match for the first time in almost a year.

DDT “DRAMATIC INFINITY 2024 ~ 3 HOUR SPECIAL~”, 29/09/2024
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. DDT Universal Title: Yuki Iino (c) Vs Yukio Naya
2. DDT Extreme Title IPPON Lighttube Tag Team Death Match: Shunma Katsumata (c) & Kazuma Sumi Vs Akito & Yuni
3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, MAO & Kaisei Takeshi Vs Chris Brookes, Takeshi Masada & Masahiro Takanashi

It’s the return of a classic match stipulation. Shunma Katsumata is quite into death matches so Akito decided to bring back the IPPON Lighttube Death Match for him. However this time it is going to be done as a tag team match with Kazuma Sumi as Katsumata’s partner and Yuni as Akito’s teammate. There will be only one lighttube and whoever breaks it will lose. Since the DDT Extreme Title is on the line that means it is a successful defence if Katsumata’s team wins. But if Akito’s team wins then Akito will become the new champion. The stipulation works that way even if the result comes down to Sumi and/or Yuni being involved in the finish.

Yuki Iino is the new Universal Champion after he successfully cashed in his title shot on MAO yesterday. He very quickly set up a defence against Yukio Naya in order to prove who is the best heavyweight in DDT. Their singles match last month ended in a double knockout draw.

niconico12

The main event was changed when it was reported Bob Sapp hadn’t arrived in the arena yet and was suffering from enormous damage after his defeat to Sachiko Kobayashi yesterday. Super Sasadango Machine took his place and was victorious with Sanshiro Takagi over the Michinoku Pro team. Sapp finally appeared after the match and challenged M-Pro’s guest San-chan to a fight. San-chan was outmatched and overpowered but was encouraged by the others to continue. Chibi Tiger and members of the TV show Mecha-Mecha Iketeru! came down to help him and everyone had to be seperated. San-chan swore he will do his best to have his debut wrestling match later this year.

niconico13

An example of the stream chat making memes took place in the semi-main event. During the match Yasu Urano told Hiroshi Fukuda that he is no big deal. This caused the chat to be flooded with “Fukuda is no big deal” comments.

niconico14

Kazuki Hirata was physically stopped from dancing during his entrance. Hirata sulked throughout the match until he got his glasses back.

niconico15

Kota Ibushi just couldn’t help himself and made his match spread across the convention hall. With Michael Nakazawa in his corner once more, Ibushi dragged Daisuke Sasaki, Danshoku Dino and Makoto Oishi over to exhibits like the Guinness World Record Challenge booth, a dinosaur skeleton display and a Niconico van which Ibushi of course Moonsaulted off of.

niconico16

A single Right To Challenge Contract was passed around three times in the Rumble Match. Tomomitsu Matsunaga pinned Yoshihiko to win its contract, then DJ Nira pinned Matsunaga. Saki Akai tapped out Nira with a Modified Camel Clutch but there was one more person left to enter. Out came Michael Nakazawa back from Singapore! He greeted the crowd and then went straight for Akai and her contract. Akai pulled down the ropes behind her and Nakazawa went flying out of the ring to end the match. Akai said she wants to cash in her contract at the next Korakuen Hall show. She also credited meeting Genichiro Tenryu yesterday for giving her extra fighting spirit.

niconico17

The Kamen Joshi musical performance was interrupted by Homoiro Clover Z members Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi and Hiroshi Fukuda. The two groups had a dance contest which Kamen Joshi won. Homoiro Clover Z took the defeat badly and attacked the idols. Help came in the forms of Shigehiro Irie and Yoshihiko. They and the Kamen Girls overpowered Dino’s crew and chased them off before performing another song.

niconico18

Super Sasadango Machine repeated yesterday’s strategy on Shigehiro Irie. That is he encouraged the stream chat to type “Irie, behind you!” whenever Irie climbed the top rope. Sasadango also did som calculations and discovered his strategy to beat Ibushi yesterday only caused 35% damage instead of the 70% he originally predicted. There was also a ring girl present and Sasadango gave her a piece of paper that said “Room No. 2735” to use as another distraction. The plan backfired when another Super Sasadango Machine appeared and flirted with the ring girl, distracting the original. Irie capitalised and pinned Sasadango with the Flying Sausage. He then unmasked the imposter Sasadango and revealed him to be Hiroshi Fukuda.

niconico19

The ring suffered some damage during the King Of Dark Title match. When the match was over Gota Ihashi did some impersonations of Shinsuke Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi to keep the crowd entertained while the ring was being repaired.

Over the space of a day DDT with the help of au held a bunch of matches inside the Niconico Chokaigi Super Conference. Airing live on Niconico, DDT claims the stream had over 130,000 viewers at its peak. The stream chat had a vital role during the show. The chat appeared on the arena screen in real time for all to see, scrolling across sideways in a “bullet hell” format.

niconico2

There was a “wedding” between a 39 year old man named Atari and a 17 year old woman named Mayutan that devolved into a pie fight and was interrupted by Danshoku Dino. Also Mr. AKIBA was there to catch the bouquet. Dino got his hands on the groom until HARASHIMA and Akito came to the rescue. A match was then held between HARASHIMA & Akito versus Dino & Makoto Oishi to determine if the bride and groom could get married. HARASHIMA & Akito won but Dino had one more trick up his sleeve to stop the marriage… Bob Sapp! Dino fought off HARASHIMA & Akito while Sapp overpowered Atari to stop him from kissing the bride. All hope was lost until “TAKE THE DREAM” played over the speakers. Out came Kensuke Sasaki! There was a masked woman next to him who was revealed to be famous singer Sachiko Kobayashi. She easily destroyed both Dino Sapp to bring an end to the fiasco. Atari and Mayutan finally kissed while everyone around them cheered.

The Niconico Super Conference was the perfect location for a Super Sasadango Machine PowerPoint presentation. Today’s strategy to beat Kota Ibushi involved using the Niconico chat on screen to distract Ibushi from doing the Phoenix Splash. Sasadango told the viewers to post “Ibushi, behind you!” whenever he was going up to the top rope and faced the screen. This would confuse Ibushi and give Sasadango time to climb up and do a top rope Brainbuster that would inflict 70% HP damage. Sasadango was certain that it would work so well that Ibushi would move full time to New Japan as a result. The distraction worked several times and in the end Sasadango hit the top rope Brainbuster followed by the Vertical Drop Lehmann Shock. Ibushi then kicked out at one. Sasadango was stunned, so much so that he removed his mask in shock. Ibushi got up and did his own Lehmann Shock to win the match.

niconico4

Genichiro Tenryu and Yukio Sakaguchi had a staredown after their match. Tenryu offered a handshake but Sakaguchi chopped him instead! Tenryu struck back with a chop of his own and the two stared each other down again. In a backstage interview Sakaguchi said he would fight Tenryu one-on-one anytime.

niconico5

Racial tensions highlighted the match between Hiroshi Fukuda and Yoshihiko. Fukuda was angry he had to fight a doll instead of somebody American or a white Hispanic. He then accused Yoshihiko of just being a sex doll and attacked it to start the match. Yoshihiko turned the tables with a Swan Dive Swinging DDT but Fukuda was back in control when he applied the Sleeper Hold. After doing the Michinoku Driver three times, he climbed up top and yelled he would do a 450 Splash. Yoshihiko suddenly sprang up to Fukuda and threw him off the top rope. Daisuke Kiso was then accidentally knocked out in the crossfire. Fukuda saw his chance and struck Yoshihiko with his tambourine while the ref was down. Unfortunately Kiso was still unconscious when Fukuda went for the pin. Fukuda revived him but Yoshihiko was back up and hit the Yoshihiko Destroyer for the three count, winning Fukuda’s Right To Challenge contract in the process!

Sadly the mascots in Yuru-chara Pro Wrestling did not actually wrestle. Actually, I’m not quite sure what it is they did. In fact some of them had a lot of trouble trying to get into the ring and the entire entrance portion of the segment took 23 minutes. Kumamon shook the ropes like the Ultimate Warrior and attacked the others with a towel (Why? For the glory of Satan of course!). Okazaemon brought in a chair for all the mascots to play musical chairs with. One of the mascots removed its head to reveal a smaller, lightweight mask for it to see better. Burikatsu-kun spoke and complained about being tired so Amon Tsurumi stopped the match. Guest ring announcer Terashima Yufu picked Fukka-chan as the winner because she believed it worked the hardest. It is also her favourite mascot so favouritism probably played a part in this. The mascots then played a proper game of musical chairs which Fukka-chan also won. Kumamon did not give a fuck during this and heeled on everyone.

niconico7

M.S.S.P is a Let’s Play group and they were at the event challenging Danshoku Dino to some video games. The first game was Fire Pro Returns on the Playstation 2. Dino played as the Fire Pro version of himself and his opponent picked Taiji Ishimori. Dino won with the Danshoku Driver. The next game was Kinnikuman Muscle Tag Match for the Famicom. M.R.R.P won this round. The final round was on Kinnikuman Tag again after an audience vote. Dino defeated M.R.R.P to win the challenge. He then chased after them to do some lewd things end the segment.

niconico8

Kazuki Hirata was too busy dancing to notice Tomomitsu Matsunaga sneaking behind him for a flash three count. The screen filled with lines of 88888888 from the stream chat which represents an applause in Japanese internet speak. An immediate rematch was held and Hirata redeemed himself by getting the win for his team.

niconico9

Gota Ihashi continues to be stuck in dark match hell. He lost to DJ Nira not once but twice in two successive King Of Dark Title matches. The second match was a sumo bout with a masked Hoshitango as the referee. Nira somehow won when he tried to lift Ihashi and the champion collapsed under his own weight.

MIKAMI missed the show due to a high fever. Kouki Iwasaki took his place.
