2. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Semi Final: Sanshiro Takagi defeated The Great Sasuke with the Stunner (14:47).
3. Tokyo Joshi Pro Offer Match: Miyu Yamashita defeated Shino Suzuki with the Skull Kick (7:44).
4. UNIVERSE MIX MAGIC 8-Man Tag Match: Kaito Kiyomiya, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan, Takeshi Masada & Yumehito Imanari defeated Masato Tanaka, Isami Kodaka, Taro Nohashi & Great Mummy when Imanari pinned Mummy with the Lariat (9:15).
5. 10-WOMAN MAGIC RUMBLE: YUNA defeated Senka Akatsuki by Ring Out (26:41).
*Order Of Elimination: Megaton, Manami, Sora Ayame, YuuRI, The Great Sayaka, Yuki Mashiro, Seri Yamaoka, Momoka Hanazono, Senka Akatsuki.
6. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Final: Naomichi Marufuji defeated Sanshiro Takagi with the Perfect Neck Lock (17:33).
The winner of the first ever Universe Cup tournament belongs to NOAH! It was a tough road for Naomichi Marufuji to walk through because he first had to fight Hayabusa in the semi final. After taking big blows from dives and Falcon Arrows, Marufuji dodged the Firebird Splash and relied on using Tiger King knee strikes to wear down Hayabusa until he was weak enough to be submitted with the Perfect Cradle. Sanshiro Takagi fought past The Great Sasuke in a rematch many years in the making (Sasuke blamed the slightly different ring size on his defeat) to reach Marufuji in the final. In the battle between the CyberFight Vice Presidents, Takagi was taken to the brink with Marufuji ordering a delay in countouts so Takagi could bring out the Dramatic Dream bike for them to fight with. Marufuji won that duel and Takagi barely made it back to the ring in time just to get put in the Perfect Neck Lock for Marufuji to win the match.
Takagi got injured during the match so only Hayabusa and Sasuke joined Marufuji for his trophy presentation. Marufuji praised all of the wrestlers and promotions involved for doing their best to liven up pro wrestling. Sasuke believes the Universe Cup will continue on for many years which will somehow help Michinoku Pro become invincible! On cue his company’s theme song began to play until Marufuji stopped it so Hayabusa could have the last word. Hayabusa told everyone that the fun is just beginning.
The rest of the show featured random and unexpected wrestlers showing up since that is the whole point of Monday Magic. Multiple promotions were represented including DDT, Ganbare☆Pro and BASARA. There was an 8-Man Tag Match featuring DDT’s Takeshi Masada, GanPro’s Yumehito Imanari and BASARA’s Isami Kodaka. GanPro also had a participant in the women’s Magic Rumble match. YuuRI took part in it but was among the first half of eliminated wrestlers.
Tokyo Joshi Pro also showed up at a Monday Magic event for the first time. TJPW presented a singles match where Miyu Yamashita beat Shino Suzuki. Because they were in front of a new audience, Yamashita was more fired up than usual while Suzuki was able to overcome her anxiety when the fans started calling her name during the match.

??? Fans – Unannounced
1. Takeru Inoue & Sentaro Motoshima defeated Yuki Toki & Nobuhiko Kimura when Inoue submitted Toki with a Crab Hold (8:56).
2. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Round 1: Sanshiro Takagi defeated Great Mummy with the Stunner (8:23).
3. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Round 1: Naomichi Marufuji defeated Kuroshio TOKYO Japan with the Perfect Neck Lock (9:12).
4. Takumi Iroha, Utami Hayashishita & Miyuki Takase Vs Mayu Iwatani, Mika Iwata & Mio Momono ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).
5. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Round 1: The Great Sasuke defeated Isami Kodaka with La Magistral Cradle (12:24).
6. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Round 1: Hayabusa defeated Yumehito Imanari with the Firebird Splash (14:06).
The first round of the inaugural UNIVERSE CUP took place, pitting eight wrestlers from eight different promotions against each other. The common ground linking almost all of the promotions together is that they are a part of the Wrestle Universe streaming service. Add in the randomness of Monday Magic and the result is a bunch of unexpected surprises in store both in and out of the tournament.
Hayabusa from ZERO1 defeated Yumehito Imanari from Ganbare☆Pro in the main event. Imanari was crushed over the loss because he was originally part of Wrestle Universe from the very beginning when it was called DDT Universe. Hayabusa will meet Naomichi Marufuji from NOAH in the semi-final. Marufuji had to deal with Kuroshio TOKYO Japan’s antics today. Even thought Kuroshio lost, he doesn’t want to go away. The Uptown wrestler asked Marufuji backstage if he can come over to NOAH? Marufuji simply told him no.
The Great Sasuke and Isami Kodaka went wild for their 1st Round match. The Michinoku Pro legend gave Kodaka a Piledriver onto the entrance ramp and also slammed him onto a pile of chairs at ringside. Kodaka almost got him back with a Brainbuster but Sasuke pinned the BASARA wrestler with La Magistral Cradle for the victory. Kodaka hopes he can come back to Monday Magic and maybe get some NOAH bookings too. Sanshiro Takagi had an adventure of his own when he had to fight not just one mummy, but two! While he fought The Great Mummy in the ring, NOSAWA Rongai brought down a second Great Mummy to add some confusion to the mix. Luckily for Takagi, Mecha Mummy showed up to help him and Takagi went on to win the match for DDT. NOSAWA swears he will get revenge on Takagi by sending his mummy wrestlers over to invade Super Japan!

3. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Final: X Vs X
There’s been one CyberFight promotion that has stayed away from Monday Magic but that’s all going to change next month. Tokyo Joshi Pro will finally have some involvement in the show, although it is going to be for a match they are putting together by themselves. There will also be a small Royal Rumble style match for the joshi wrestlers so maybe TJPW will start to mix in with the rest of the scene after all.

1. Ren Konatsu defeated Shion Kanzaki with the Step-Style Swan Dive Missile Dropkick (5:57).
2. Miyu Yamashita, Kaya Toribami, HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki defeated Hyper Misao, Kakeru Sekiguchi, Kira Summer & Chika Nanase when HIMAWARI pinned Nanase with the Sunflower Tempest (7:43).
3. Ryo Mizunami, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defeated Max The Impaler, Raku & Pom Harajuku when Aino pinned Harajuku with the Venus DDT (11:51).
4. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Aja Kong defeated Mahiro Kiryu (c) with the Back Drop (6:58).
*Aja Kong becomes the 1,805th champion.
5. Suzume & Arisu Endo defeated Shoko Nakajima & Sara Phoenix when Suzume pinned Phoenix with the Ring A Bell (9:49).
6. Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi defeated Yuki Arai & Mifu Ashida when Watanabe pinned Ashida with the Tear Drop (17:55).
7. International Princess Title: MIRAI (c) defeated Toga with the Lariat (10:24).
*V1 for MIRAI.
8. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Final: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara defeated Mizuki & Uta Takami when Uehara pinned Takami with the Sushi Tornado (14:25).

It took until the sixth year for the reigning Princess Tag Team Champions to go all the way and win the Max Heart Tournament for the first time ever. Ober Eats now have that bragging right after defeating Mizuki & Uta Takami in today’s final. As the match broke down into a frantic finish, Mizuki sacrificed herself to pull Takami out of the way from a step-up elevated Big Boot by Ober Eats and take the blow by herself. Her last heroic act was to counter a Double Flapjack into a Double Stomp that landed on both Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara. Takami tried to end things by putting Uehara into the Koala Clutch but Uehara fought out of it with a Snap Suplex and rolled Takami into the Sushi Tornado to win the match.

After the match Kamifuku got on the microphone and brought up the criticisms Ober Eats get for being the Princess Tag Champions. She remembers there were comments about hoe it was too soon for them to win the belts and Uehara wasn’t ready to be in that position yet. Then Kamifuku admitted those were actually her own opinions and she apologised to Uehara because she proved her wrong. Uehara knows her tag partner wasn’t always excited about them challenging for the titles but she is grateful to fight alongside her the entire time. Now Ober Eats are looking forward to “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” where Kamifuku wants to defend the tag titles against a team that surpasses them in every way from coolness and sexiness to the amount of social media followers they have. Uehara promised the fans that Ober Eats will deliver the best match to them at Sumo Hall on 29th March! Backstage Kamifuku gave some examples of the kind of challengers they want to fight. They need to be on the level of Suzu Hirose, Britney Spears, Nicki Manaj, Mana Ashida or Vivian Hsu. Takami is still happy with the overall experience despite losing because she created so many miracles with Mizuki. She doesn’t think they are finished making miracles yet either. Mizuki said she wants them to work hard together so when they challenge for the tag titles and win them, they will finally decide on a team name. Mizuki also said she always respected Kamifuku and now they have definitely become rivals.

This International Princess Title reign that MIRAI is going through is starting to turn into Tokyo Joshi Pro Vs Michinoku Pro in a way. The champion was again accompanied by Michinoku Pro wrestlers for her match, this time the pair of seconds at ringside were Yapper Man #1 & Yapper Man #2 (the masked gimmicks Speed Of Sounds use over there). The challenger Toga did invite her Hot Shot tag partner Yuna Manase to attend the show but she watched in the crowd since Toga’s title shot in the first place came from her wanting to take on a big challenge all by herself. Her right arm was targeted by MIRAI but she was able to hit her big Elbow Smash with it. But MIRAI got to pulled her down into the MIRAI☆Lock to make Toga fight for a rope break. Toga was then given an Olympic Slam for a nearfall before throwing back another Elbow Strike. MIRAI absorbed the blow and hit back with a Lariat to win the match.

MIRAI praised Toga after the match for being really strong and showing sides that MIRAI never knew she had. She’s impressed given this was Toga’s first time challenging for a singles championship. She encouraged Toga to keep finding herself step by step and they can then fight again some day. MIRAI then switched to talking about defending the IP Title at Sumo Hall, something she previously put out there without telling Tetsuya Koda. She already has an opponent in mind and wants to challenge her right here. It’s Suzume! The two were classmates in TJPW and even teamed up as BeeStar. Since then they both found their own ways to become stronger but Suzume admits she wouldn’t be who she is today without MIRAI. However she doesn’t want this match to happen just because of their history together. The IP Title is precious to her and she will fight to hold it again. Meanwhile MIRAI promises to bring the fight to her while carrying the weight of Michinoku Pro on her shoulders!

As we get closer to 29th March, things are getting a little more serious between Miu Watanabe and Yuki Arai. The two have the big Princess Of Princess Title match to look forward to but if things continue like they did today there’s the risk one of them might not make it to Sumo Hall. The two fought each other on the ring apron during their tag match, both aiming to use one of their signature moves on each other. Arai won out and used the Full Nelson Buster to throw Watanabe to the floor! Watanabe was able to get back in the ring before the 20 count and had Rika Tatsumi there to help by giving Arai the Twist Of Fate to get rid of her. Watanabe got to recover from the scary bump and pinned Mifu Ashida with the Tear Drop to get Daydream the victory. Watanabe took it as a good preview for “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” while Tatsumi got a sense of how dangerous Arai really is, although she hasn’t figured out if this is the kind of “madness” that Super Sasadango Machine told her to go search for. Over at Kyoto Tag, Ashida was upset over losing the match because she could really feel Arai’s desire to win. Even giving her a Valentine’s Day cheer during the match didn’t work. Arai assured her they will still team together and Ashida will continue to be part of Arai’s future plans. Arai also doesn’t regret giving Watanabe the Full Nelson Buster from the ring apron to the floor. She needed to do something big against her and in the moment knew just slamming her onto the ring apron would have put herself in harm’s way with the drop to the floor.

Suzume’s day was spent teaming up with Arisu Endo to take on Shoko Nakajima & Sara Phoenix. The guest from Chile got plenty of opportunity to go at it against Daisy Monkey while Nakajima remains a tricky opponent for the team to overcome. A bridging Regal Plex almost resulted in Phoenix pinning Suzume but Endo broke the pin at the last second. Phoenix then missed a Missile Dropkick, allowing Suzume to give her a Rope Walk Facebuster followed by the Ring A Bell to get the win.

For the second month in a row, Aja Kong has won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title at a TJPW Korakuen Hall show! She got to keep it this time too. Mahiro Kiryu needed all of the encouragement she could gather to fight Kong but it led to some setbacks. She had the werewithal to use the Iron Man Title belt as a weapon to counteract Kong’s steel can and even attempted to guard herself from an attack. But Kong paused long enough for Kiryu to drop her guard to get the headshot in anyway. Kiryu found someway to get in control and even roll up Kong for a nearfall. But Kong kicked out and gave Kiryu a slap before pinning her with the Back Drop to win the title. Backstage Kong said in the end the belt chooses her so she’s not going to leave anytime soon. Kiryu then confronted Kong alongside her lookalike Kakeru Sekiguchi and a referee. Sekiguchi spoke for Kiryu and moved her around like a puppet but it was only so Kong would be distracted for Kiryu to roll her up. The plan didn’t work and neither did the twin magic trick. Kong ran both of them off and currently remains the champion.

If Max The Impaler had their way, Pompaler would have teamed with Yuki Aino instead of Raku today. That didn’t happen because the entire point of the other team was so Aino could get Yukiniki and Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed to join forces for one day only. The match went ahead as planned and Max threw Pom Harajuku at the opposition after Ryo Mizunami dared to throw a Chop at Harajuku. Raku used her pillow to block Mizunami’s Chop but Max had enough of the shenanigans and threw the pillow away. Aino later got to do her double team moves with both Mizunami & Haru Kazashiro on the way to beating Harajuku with the Venus DDT.

Because today is Valentine’s Day, Hyper Misao wanted to confess her feelings to someone special by giving Miyu Yamashita some chocolates as a gift. However Chika Nanase interrupted her because she wanted to give Yamashita chocolate too. Kira Summer also had chocolates for Yamashita as did Kakeru Sekiguchi who explained she suddenly had a case of love at first sight. Yamashita thanked all of them but couldn’t accept anyone’s chocolate because she loves them all as TJPW’s Leader. It then turned out to be a trap by Misao’s team so they could jump Yamashita while her guard was down. Misao blinded Shino Suzuki with her Hero Spray while Sekiguchi fought with Kaya Toribami. Misao later led her team in a train attack on HIMAWARI but Suzuki came to the rescue so Bumping gRitters could take down Nanase together. That cleared the ring for HIMAWARI to pin Nanase with the Sunflower Tempest.

The opening match was a chance for Ren Konatsu and Shion Kanzaki fight over who would get their first singles win as a wrestler. Konatsu was able to fight out of a Sleeper Hold and get herself up to the middle rope. From there she did a hop onto the top rope that launched her into hitting a Missile Dropkick on Konatsu. That was enough for a three count and Konatsu got her first win eight months after her debut. She came up with the move because she’s been using sheep-like movements along with some trampolining practice and wanted to combine the two ideas together. Kanzaki was feeling upset because she felt like she couldn’t do anything against Konatsu. It makes her wonder how long it will take for her to catch up when she currently feels like she is at her limit. She promised to practice even harder after this.

Looks like I now have to start talking about MONDAY MAGIC a bit more often. This thing started off in 2023 as an idea by NOSAWA Rongai to host live weekly NOAH shows on ABEMA built around mystery lineups and surprise matches. After the debut season, the series was then added to Wrestle Universe and last year it was quietly spun off into becoming its own brand, although it is still NOAH adjacent. I personally like the idea of treating Monday Magic as its own thing but you’d still be right to label it a NOAH show.
During the most recent season titled “RISING SUN”, it was announced that two upcoming spin-off episodes called “UNIVERSE MAGIC” will host the first ever Universe Cup tournament. It will be an eight man tournament featuring a representative from many different wrestling promotions that can be seen on Wrestle Universe. The wrestlers taking part are:
Naomichi Marufuji (Pro Wrestling NOAH)
Sanshiro Takagi (DDT Pro Wrestling)
The Great Sasuke (Michinoku Pro Wrestling)
Hayabusa (ZERO1 Pro Wrestling)
Isami Kodaka (Pro Wrestling BASARA)
Yumehito Imanari (Ganbare☆Pro Wrestling)
Kuroshio TOKYO Japan (Pro Wrestling Uptown)
Great Mummy (MONDAY MAGIC)

3. UNIVERSE CUP – Round 1: Isami Kodaka Vs The Great Sasuke
4. UNIVERSE CUP – Round 1: Hayabusa Vs Yumehito Imanari
Alright I get to talk about the new Hayabusa! Actually Bahu did a great job explaining the whole situation with him and ZERO1 recently so I recommend you give his video a watch. The inclusion of ZERO1 to this tournament comes from their repaired relationship with NOAH after the Go Shiozaki fiasco (I knew something was up with him a while back) and that led to Hayabusa recently appearing on Monday Magic so his addition has not come out of nowhere.
One of NOSAWA’s running jokes in Monday Magic is to often book one of the wrestlers to disguise themselves as Great Mummy, a throwback to the mummy gimmicks that were a regular presence around Japan’s sleazier indies decades ago. It’s only fitting that Sanshiro Takagi was chosen to be Great Mummy’s opponent in the first round.

The match announcement video included an image of a playoff bracket that makes it look like the winners of Matches #1 and #3 will meet in one semi final and the winners of Matches #2 and #4 will face off in the other. However I’m feeling suspicious about something. To put it kindly, NOSAWA is a trickster at heart. Don’t be surprised if he suddenly throws in a swerve or two that could completely change the face of the Universe Cup going into the final rounds.

9. Master Wato defeated Atsuki Aoyagi with the Recientemente II (14:24).
I’m only covering the matches relating to DDT, BASARA and Ganbare☆Pro but the entire event is worth watching. One of the highlights was the unexpected appearance of Kazuki Hirata for a surprise match with CIMA! Given CIMA’s history with people previously associated with the “Tokyo GO!” song, he was in no mood to dance along with Hirata. CIMA grabbed the Hirata GO! glasses to prevent the song from coming back and got boos from the crowd, causing him to sulk. Later in the match Hirata got his glasses back and convinced CIMA to put on his own pair so the two could finally dance together. They shook hands afterwards and CIMA pinned Hirata with the Somato. Backstage CIMA praised the show for bringing the entire Junior Heavyweight wrestling scene together. If there are still barriers keeping these companies apart, he thinks we should get rid of them. Hirata asked if he is invited for this kind of show again then please do not put him in the unadvertised surprise spot.
Yuki Ueno was thrown into a lucha flavored 3 Way Tag Match teaming with El Lindaman. He was in the ring from the start squaring off against both Volador Jr. and DOUKI. But as the match went on Ueno & Lindaman started bickering a little bit while trying to fight off both DOUKI & HANAOKA. Then El Desperado got a few of his opponents out of the ring for Volador to dive onto all of them. HANAOKA stopped Desperado from doing his own dive but ended up taking the Pinche Loco from him instead for the finish. Backstage Lindaman said he does not hate DDT or Ueno, he just got worked up because he wants to beat everybody. Ueno said he had fun both wrestling in this match and from watching all of the others. He believes the strongest pro wrestlers are those who enjoy wrestling and he hopes there will be a second “ALL STAR JR FESTIVAL” in the future.
Yumehito Imanari showed off his more pervy side by wearing a “Virgin Killer” sweater along with Hikaru Sato & Ryusuke Taguchi in their match. Because their costumes were at risk of becoming too revealing, their opponents were careful with how they fought to avoid shocking the audience. Batten×Blabla convinced Imanari to continue the match without the costume while Taguchi and Tigers Mask did some actual wrestling in between. Sato went on to tap out Blabla with a Cross Armbreaker. Afterwards Sato called his team the pinnacle of Japan’s Jr. division! If there are three wrestlers better than Sato, Taguchi & Imanari then send them their way. Sato has had enough of every pro wrestler trying to look cool. They should instead bare it all for the fans!
MAO wants fucked up pro wrestling for a fucked up world. Isami Kodaka wishes “Peace & Fuck” on the world. But the two of them combined still wasn’t as unusual as the combination of SHO & Onryo. SHO ended up using Onryo as a weapon by slamming him on top of MAO. Onryo got his own back by throwing his ectoplasm powder in SHO’s face. Then in an even weirder turn of events, Ram Kaichow got on the top turnbuckle and hit a Diving Cross Body on SHO. The match lost control when SHO got out of the ring, pulled the referee out with him and then started attacking him for the DQ. Kodaka got on the microphone and told SHO if he wants to use weapons so bad they should do a death match against each other! SHO refused and left ringside in a huff. Backstage Kaichow complained about the show only inviting male wrestlers. If another “ALL STAR JR FESTIVAL” happens she wants to wrestle on it!
A bonus pre-show match gave Kazuma Sumi a spot on the card and a chance to share the ring with YOH & Soma Watanabe. Sumi’s main confrontation was with Akira Jumonji but he had interactions with Fuminori Abe & Ryo Hoshino too. He ended up on the winning side thanks to YOH pinned Jumonji with the DIRECT DRIVE. Sumi thanked the organisers for inviting him and said Jr. Heavyweight wrestling is the best!

“LEC PRESENTS JUNIOR DREAM FESTIVAL ~ALL STAR JR FESTIVAL 2023~”, 01/03/2023
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
This is a show that has been years in the making yet I never thought was going to happen. Wrestlers like Hiromu Takahashi and El Desperado have said over and over on interviews their desire for there to be an all star show that gathers together the best junior heavyweights from across the Japanese wrestling scene. Meanwhile other junior heavyweights from different promotions keep interacting with each other on social media teasing matches at times when there were no chances of those matches ever happening. Well now it’s finally happening thanks to sponsorship from LEC, a company that seems to have sponsored every notable Japanese wrestling promotion you can think of at some point in the last decade.
The only details announced so far is it will be taking place in Korakuen Hall and will be broadcast as a PPV on NJPW World. 22 different wrestling companies are attached to the show with wrestlers and matches to be announced as soon as they are decided on.
The participating promotions are:
– Dark Pro Wrestling 666
– Osaka Pro Wrestling
– Ganbare☆Pro Wrestling
– Kyushu Pro Wrestling
– New Japan Pro Wrestling
– All Japan Pro Wrestling
– Big Japan Wrestling
– Pancrase MISSION
– Pro Wrestling SECRET BASE
– Pro Wrestling ZERO1
– Pro Wrestling NOAH
– Pro Wrestling BASARA
– Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS
– Michinoku Pro Wrestling
– Ryukyu Dragon Wrestling
– CMLL
– DDT Pro Wrestling
– DRADITION
– DragonGate
– GLEAT
– JUST TAP OUT
– 2AW
We have a lot of choices among DDT, Ganbare☆Pro and BASARA to throw onto the show. Shunma Katsumata, MAO, Chris Brookes, Masahiro Takanashi, Keisuke Ishii, Shuichiro Katsumura, Shota, Isami Kodaka, Daiki Shimomura, Takato Nakano, the list goes on and on. Not Tetsuya Endo though. He’s been bulking up recently and now weighs over 100kg.
It’s been pointed out online that the show will take place the day after New Japan and CMLL finish up their “FANTASTICA MANIA” tour which explains why CMLL is part of an otherwise Japan only line-up. Also AEW was never going to be a part of this. Even if they could have been, the show is on a Wednesday anyway.

8c. Daruma-san ga Koronda Death Match: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Muscle Sakai
HARASHIMA & Muscle Sakai took some time this week to look over all of the gimmick suggestions for their DDT Extreme Title match. They eventually agreed to a Best 2 out of 3 Falls match with their three favourite stipulations. One fall will have the winner be the person being pinned for three seconds, the opposite of how you usually win a wrestling match. Another fall will be a Telephone Death Match where both men must wrestle while they are calling somebody on their phones. They must have a reason for calling certain people and if the person on the line figures out there is a wrestling match going on then that wrestler is disqualified. The third fall (I’m unsure if these are in the right order) will be a wrestling version of the playground game Daruma-san ga Koronda. Somebody (the ref?) will be facing away from the wrestlers but when that person turns around and shouts “daruma-san ga koronda” the wrestlers must freeze in place until the person looks away again. If a wrestler moves when they are supposed to be frozen they will lose.

9. DAY 2 Last Match – Michinoku Pro In Niconico Super Conference: Sanshiro Takagi & Super Sasadango Machine defeated Taro Nohashi & Kenbai (w/ San-chan) when Takagi pinned Kenbai with the Sit Down Himawari Bomb (7:51).

The main event was changed when it was reported Bob Sapp hadn’t arrived in the arena yet and was suffering from enormous damage after his defeat to Sachiko Kobayashi yesterday. Super Sasadango Machine took his place and was victorious with Sanshiro Takagi over the Michinoku Pro team. Sapp finally appeared after the match and challenged M-Pro’s guest San-chan to a fight. San-chan was outmatched and overpowered but was encouraged by the others to continue. Chibi Tiger and members of the TV show Mecha-Mecha Iketeru! came down to help him and everyone had to be seperated. San-chan swore he will do his best to have his debut wrestling match later this year.

An example of the stream chat making memes took place in the semi-main event. During the match Yasu Urano told Hiroshi Fukuda that he is no big deal. This caused the chat to be flooded with “Fukuda is no big deal” comments.

Kazuki Hirata was physically stopped from dancing during his entrance. Hirata sulked throughout the match until he got his glasses back.

Kota Ibushi just couldn’t help himself and made his match spread across the convention hall. With Michael Nakazawa in his corner once more, Ibushi dragged Daisuke Sasaki, Danshoku Dino and Makoto Oishi over to exhibits like the Guinness World Record Challenge booth, a dinosaur skeleton display and a Niconico van which Ibushi of course Moonsaulted off of.

A single Right To Challenge Contract was passed around three times in the Rumble Match. Tomomitsu Matsunaga pinned Yoshihiko to win its contract, then DJ Nira pinned Matsunaga. Saki Akai tapped out Nira with a Modified Camel Clutch but there was one more person left to enter. Out came Michael Nakazawa back from Singapore! He greeted the crowd and then went straight for Akai and her contract. Akai pulled down the ropes behind her and Nakazawa went flying out of the ring to end the match. Akai said she wants to cash in her contract at the next Korakuen Hall show. She also credited meeting Genichiro Tenryu yesterday for giving her extra fighting spirit.

The Kamen Joshi musical performance was interrupted by Homoiro Clover Z members Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi and Hiroshi Fukuda. The two groups had a dance contest which Kamen Joshi won. Homoiro Clover Z took the defeat badly and attacked the idols. Help came in the forms of Shigehiro Irie and Yoshihiko. They and the Kamen Girls overpowered Dino’s crew and chased them off before performing another song.

Super Sasadango Machine repeated yesterday’s strategy on Shigehiro Irie. That is he encouraged the stream chat to type “Irie, behind you!” whenever Irie climbed the top rope. Sasadango also did som calculations and discovered his strategy to beat Ibushi yesterday only caused 35% damage instead of the 70% he originally predicted. There was also a ring girl present and Sasadango gave her a piece of paper that said “Room No. 2735” to use as another distraction. The plan backfired when another Super Sasadango Machine appeared and flirted with the ring girl, distracting the original. Irie capitalised and pinned Sasadango with the Flying Sausage. He then unmasked the imposter Sasadango and revealed him to be Hiroshi Fukuda.

The ring suffered some damage during the King Of Dark Title match. When the match was over Gota Ihashi did some impersonations of Shinsuke Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi to keep the crowd entertained while the ring was being repaired.
