5. 3 Way Tag Match: Volador Jr. & El Desperado defeated Yuki Ueno & El Lindaman and HANAOKA & DOUKI when Desperado pinned HANAOKA with the Pinche Loco (10:34).
6. Mistico, Gurukun Mask, Billy Ken Kid & Alejandro defeated Dragon Kid, BUSHI, Black Menso~re & Atlantis Jr. when Mistico submitted Menso~re with La Mistica (11:29).

9. Master Wato defeated Atsuki Aoyagi with the Recientemente II (14:24).
I’m only covering the matches relating to DDT, BASARA and Ganbare☆Pro but the entire event is worth watching. One of the highlights was the unexpected appearance of Kazuki Hirata for a surprise match with CIMA! Given CIMA’s history with people previously associated with the “Tokyo GO!” song, he was in no mood to dance along with Hirata. CIMA grabbed the Hirata GO! glasses to prevent the song from coming back and got boos from the crowd, causing him to sulk. Later in the match Hirata got his glasses back and convinced CIMA to put on his own pair so the two could finally dance together. They shook hands afterwards and CIMA pinned Hirata with the Somato. Backstage CIMA praised the show for bringing the entire Junior Heavyweight wrestling scene together. If there are still barriers keeping these companies apart, he thinks we should get rid of them. Hirata asked if he is invited for this kind of show again then please do not put him in the unadvertised surprise spot.
Yuki Ueno was thrown into a lucha flavored 3 Way Tag Match teaming with El Lindaman. He was in the ring from the start squaring off against both Volador Jr. and DOUKI. But as the match went on Ueno & Lindaman started bickering a little bit while trying to fight off both DOUKI & HANAOKA. Then El Desperado got a few of his opponents out of the ring for Volador to dive onto all of them. HANAOKA stopped Desperado from doing his own dive but ended up taking the Pinche Loco from him instead for the finish. Backstage Lindaman said he does not hate DDT or Ueno, he just got worked up because he wants to beat everybody. Ueno said he had fun both wrestling in this match and from watching all of the others. He believes the strongest pro wrestlers are those who enjoy wrestling and he hopes there will be a second “ALL STAR JR FESTIVAL” in the future.
Yumehito Imanari showed off his more pervy side by wearing a “Virgin Killer” sweater along with Hikaru Sato & Ryusuke Taguchi in their match. Because their costumes were at risk of becoming too revealing, their opponents were careful with how they fought to avoid shocking the audience. Batten×Blabla convinced Imanari to continue the match without the costume while Taguchi and Tigers Mask did some actual wrestling in between. Sato went on to tap out Blabla with a Cross Armbreaker. Afterwards Sato called his team the pinnacle of Japan’s Jr. division! If there are three wrestlers better than Sato, Taguchi & Imanari then send them their way. Sato has had enough of every pro wrestler trying to look cool. They should instead bare it all for the fans!
MAO wants fucked up pro wrestling for a fucked up world. Isami Kodaka wishes “Peace & Fuck” on the world. But the two of them combined still wasn’t as unusual as the combination of SHO & Onryo. SHO ended up using Onryo as a weapon by slamming him on top of MAO. Onryo got his own back by throwing his ectoplasm powder in SHO’s face. Then in an even weirder turn of events, Ram Kaichow got on the top turnbuckle and hit a Diving Cross Body on SHO. The match lost control when SHO got out of the ring, pulled the referee out with him and then started attacking him for the DQ. Kodaka got on the microphone and told SHO if he wants to use weapons so bad they should do a death match against each other! SHO refused and left ringside in a huff. Backstage Kaichow complained about the show only inviting male wrestlers. If another “ALL STAR JR FESTIVAL” happens she wants to wrestle on it!
A bonus pre-show match gave Kazuma Sumi a spot on the card and a chance to share the ring with YOH & Soma Watanabe. Sumi’s main confrontation was with Akira Jumonji but he had interactions with Fuminori Abe & Ryo Hoshino too. He ended up on the winning side thanks to YOH pinned Jumonji with the DIRECT DRIVE. Sumi thanked the organisers for inviting him and said Jr. Heavyweight wrestling is the best!

“LEC PRESENTS JUNIOR DREAM FESTIVAL ~ALL STAR JR FESTIVAL 2023~”, 01/03/2023
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
This is a show that has been years in the making yet I never thought was going to happen. Wrestlers like Hiromu Takahashi and El Desperado have said over and over on interviews their desire for there to be an all star show that gathers together the best junior heavyweights from across the Japanese wrestling scene. Meanwhile other junior heavyweights from different promotions keep interacting with each other on social media teasing matches at times when there were no chances of those matches ever happening. Well now it’s finally happening thanks to sponsorship from LEC, a company that seems to have sponsored every notable Japanese wrestling promotion you can think of at some point in the last decade.
The only details announced so far is it will be taking place in Korakuen Hall and will be broadcast as a PPV on NJPW World. 22 different wrestling companies are attached to the show with wrestlers and matches to be announced as soon as they are decided on.
The participating promotions are:
– Dark Pro Wrestling 666
– Osaka Pro Wrestling
– Ganbare☆Pro Wrestling
– Kyushu Pro Wrestling
– New Japan Pro Wrestling
– All Japan Pro Wrestling
– Big Japan Wrestling
– Pancrase MISSION
– Pro Wrestling SECRET BASE
– Pro Wrestling ZERO1
– Pro Wrestling NOAH
– Pro Wrestling BASARA
– Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS
– Michinoku Pro Wrestling
– Ryukyu Dragon Wrestling
– CMLL
– DDT Pro Wrestling
– DRADITION
– DragonGate
– GLEAT
– JUST TAP OUT
– 2AW
We have a lot of choices among DDT, Ganbare☆Pro and BASARA to throw onto the show. Shunma Katsumata, MAO, Chris Brookes, Masahiro Takanashi, Keisuke Ishii, Shuichiro Katsumura, Shota, Isami Kodaka, Daiki Shimomura, Takato Nakano, the list goes on and on. Not Tetsuya Endo though. He’s been bulking up recently and now weighs over 100kg.
It’s been pointed out online that the show will take place the day after New Japan and CMLL finish up their “FANTASTICA MANIA” tour which explains why CMLL is part of an otherwise Japan only line-up. Also AEW was never going to be a part of this. Even if they could have been, the show is on a Wednesday anyway.

2. Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno defeated Akito & Kazuki Hirata when Iino submitted Akito with the Minryuu→Hakuryuu→Kairyuu (9:25).
3. Yuji Hino, Makoto Oishi & Soma Takao defeated Toru Owashi, Chris Brookes & Toi Kojima when Hino pinned Kojima with the Fuckin’ BOMB (10:45).
4. HARASHIMA & Yukio Naya defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida when Naya pinned Ishida with the Choke Slam (12:35).
5. Special Single Match: Tigers Mask defeated Yusuke Okada with the Delfin Special No. 3 (13:29).
6. The 37KAMIINA Vs DAMNATION T.A!: Daisuke Sasaki, MJ Paul & KANON defeated Yuki Ueno, MAO & Shunma Katsumata when Sasaki submitted Katsumata with the Crossface Lock (10:18).
7. NEXTBODY presents Jun Akiyama Debut 30th Anniversary Match In Osaka ~ Special 6-Man Tag Match: Zeus, Bodyguard & Ryouji Sai defeated Jun Akiyama, Tetsuya Endo & Sanshiro Takagi when Zeus pinned Akiyama with the Jackhammer (19:01).
There was already a 30th Anniversary celebration for Jun Akiyama back in September but that took place in Tokyo. Akiyama is from Osaka and wanted to celebrate his 30 years in front of his home crowd so DDT were happy to set it up for him. The main event this time was Akiyama leading Tetsuya Endo & Sanshiro Takagi against a trio of Osaka all star wrestlers. Akiyama got to spend a lot of time inside and outside the ring against his opponents. He started off the match against Zeus and the two eventually fought each other outside the ring. Tigers Mask got dragged into the brawl at ringside and took some hits after Akiyama recognised he is Atsushi Maruyama under the mask. Bodyguard congratulated Akiyama for his anniversary while throwing a bunch of Lariats at his opponents. Takagi missed a Lariat of his own and hit Akiyama by accident. That led to the Osaka team launching a train attack on Akiyama. They gave him a Lariat from Zeus, a Spear from Bodyguard and the Akagawa Bridge from Ryouji Sai. Zeus then got the three count by giving Akiyama the Jackhammer.
Everybody congratulated Akiyama after the match. Zeus talked about the time he worked for All Japan while Akiyama was the company’s president. He said Akiyama is the only person in wrestling he looks up to as a mentor. It is because of Akiyama’s teachings that Zeus became a Triple Crown Champion, won the Champion Carnival and became the president of Osaka Pro Wrestling. He also joked his mission today was to give Akiyama 30 Chops to the chest during the match. Bodyguard credits Akiyama for giving him the opportunity to be active in major pro wrestling promotions. Sai pointed out it’s a contradiction that his team all wanted to beat up Akiyama yet here they are congratulating him afterwards. He admires Akiyama because no matter how high the bar is raised, Akiyama is able to go above and beyond it. The show ended with Akiyama giving the final speech. He does not know how long he will continue to wrestle but as long as Takagi needs him, he will want to work for DDT. He thanked everyone for being here today, including Maruyama.
Yuki Ueno was disappointed to lose his first match since winning the D-Ou Grand Prix. It was also Shunma Katsumata’s 30th birthday a few days ago so he was upset to lose his first match in his 30’s. MAO is currently 25 so nothing that happened in their loss today let him down moreso than usual.
After Tigers Mask won his match, Yusuke Okada asked for a rematch and for it to take place in Osaka Pro. Mask described Akiyama as both the scariest teacher and the most kindest senior. He made similar comments as Zeus about how Akiyama’s teachings are being put to use in running the new version of Osaka Pro. Backstage Zeus approached Tigers Mask, told him Akiyama wants to do a singles match against him in Osaka Pro soon and left. Mask isn’t sure if he was joking or not.
Yukio Naya said it was thanks to Akiyama’s teachings along with Yuji Hino’s that he was able to reach the D-Ou final this year.
In the latest battle between Akito and Pheromones, Akito had a plan. He stole his opponent’s lewd wrestling gear, thinking it would force Yuki Iino & Danshoku Dieno to wrestle in normal looking costumes. It didn’t work because they had their spare gear with them. Also during the match Pheromones forced one of Iino’s stolen costumes onto Akito before beating him with one of their humiliating finishers.

5. #DAMNHEARTS Vs English Mexican Cross-Border Trio Special 6-Man Tag Match: Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao & CIMA (w/ Mad Paulie) defeated Chris Brookes, Tsubasa & Kuishinbo Kamen when Endo pinned Kamen with the Shooting Star Press (13:32).
6. Double Main Event – Team WR Vs The☆TakeBilly Special Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Billy Ken Kid defeated Yuki Ueno & HUB when Takeshita pinned Ueno with the German Suplex (19:14).
7. Double Main Event – Special Tag Match ~Reserved Yamato Soul~: Masato Tanaka & Shigehiro Irie Vs Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).
DDT’s celebration of Yukinori Matsui and Osaka wrestling was headlined with a 30 minute draw between Eruption and Masato Tanaka & Shigehiro Irie. During the match Tanaka & Irie put Yukio Sakaguchi through a table and then isolated Kazusada Higuchi. Irie hit the Flying Sausage followed by Tanaka doing the Super Fly. Sakaguchi kept the match alive by breaking the pin and hitting Tanaka with the God’s Right Knee. With Higuchi and Tanaka as the legal men they went back and forth with a Doctor Bomb, the Sliding D, a Lariat and the Rolling Elbow. Tanaka caught Higuchi with the Gannosuke Clutch in the dying seconds of the match but Higuchi kicked out and the time ran out. Irie said he was happy to wrestle Higuchi and Sakaguchi again. Tanaka said at the age of 45 he still doesn’t want to be losing against the younger wrestlers. He also told Higuchi he regrets not being able to face him back when he held the KO-D Openweight Title. Hopefully they will get to fight each other with a championship on the line in the future. Eruption promised to defend the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles and win the KO-D Tag Team Titles later this month.
Konosuke Takeshita was left with a bloody nose from his match. When he gets to be in the ring with Osaka Pro wrestlers like Billy Ken Kid and HUB, he is with the wrestlers he grew up watching. But Yuki Ueno on the other hand only began watching Osaka Pro after he became a wrestler. Today’s match was the kind Takeshita had dreamed of. He thanked Matsui for booking the match. Billy Ken Kid told Ueno his WR finisher felt just like when Super Dolphin (one of HUB’s old gimmicks) did it. The move is very effective but he should be careful with it. But he admits he would have lost to that move if it was a singles match. Ueno asked to team with HUB again. He also wants to beat Takeshita and make him bleed more.
CIMA had his first match back since his traffic accident. #DAMNHEARTS used Mad Paulie as a jumping pad for CIMA, Soma Takao & Tetsuya Endo to do their high flying moves from onto Kuishinbo Kamen. The pin was broken up by Chris Brookes & Tsubasa but Endo then hit the Shooting Star Press on Kamen to win. Endo welcomed CIMA back to the ring and CIMA explained to the audience how lucky he was to only suffer a broken nose and injured wrist from his cycling accident. He then wondered why DAMNATION and #DAMNHEARTS have split apart during his absence. He decided to leave the topic alone after seeing the looks on Endo & Takao’s faces.

When #DAMNHEARTS left the ring, Endo was confronted by Kuishinbo Kamen again. Kamen offered Endo some candy then gave him a Low Blow. He unmasked himself to reveal it was Daisuke Sasaki in disguise! Sasaki attacked Endo with a chair and put him in La Mistica Cross Facelock. He fled the ring when #DAMNHEARTS came down to rescue Endo. Sasaki got on the microphone and told Endo never to leave his guard down because Sasaki will attack him from anywhere! The real Kuishinbo Kamen came out looking for his spare costume and took a seat in protest. He refused to leave so two of the ringside attendants lifted him up and carried him out of the room.
Even though they were on the winning team, Jun Akiyama & Magnitude Kishiwada began fighting each other after their match. It was sparked by Akiyama missing a Jumping Knee Attack and hitting Kishiwada by accident earlier in the bout. The rest of Junretsu had to pull them apart.
One of the newer trainees in DDT was featured during the show intro. Kojima told Hisaya Imabayashi to speed the opening announcements along because they were already running late. That led to Imabayashi interrupting Matsui’s speech so Ueno could get his chance to talk and then start the show.

7. Wrestling Hunters Vs DAMNATION ~ Special 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated HARASHIMA, Dick Togo & Mike Bailey when Sasaki submitted Bailey with La Mistica Cross Facelock (17:23).
8. Triple Crown Giant Vs DNA-gun ~ Super Heavy Special Single Match: Shuji Ishikawa defeated Kazusada Higuchi with the Splash Mountain (13:37).
9. Osaka Wrestling School Vs Kishiwada Gurentai – Challenge to Yukinobu ~ Special Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Shigehiro Irie defeated “Big Boss” MA-G-MA & Black Buffalo when Takeshita pinned Buffalo with the Cross-Arm German Suplex (25:22).
DDT’s tribute to Osaka wrestling was headlined by their two top wrestlers from the region taking on two legendary figures. When Konosuke Takeshita & Shigehiro Irie got a match against Magnitude Kishiwada and Buffalo they wanted them in their original Osaka Pro forms, “Big Boss” MA-G-MA & Black Buffalo. They got their wish and their opponents made it clear they weren’t going to play nice. MA-G-MA & Buffalo attacked the DDT team the moment the bell rang. MA-G-MA put Takeshita through a table outside the ring with a Diving Body Press. However the tables turned when MA-G-MA accidentally Clotheslined Buffalo. Irie flattened Buffalo with a Running Cannonball into the corner. MA-G-MA did what he could to save Buffalo but soon ran out of chances. Takeshita then hit the Cross-Arm German Suplex to seal the victory.
Before the Osaka team left, MA-G-MA appealed to Takeshita for a singles match some day down the line. Takeshita and Irie showed admiration for their opponents and said it is now their own era of pro wrestling. When Takeshita was finished, Naomi Yoshimura came down to the ring to grab his attention. He said Takeshita forgot about someone. Yoshimura then went back to the entrance and brought out Takeshita’s mother, Keiko Takeshita! Yoshimura said he was stealing Keiko so her son won’t be able to eat any meals when he comes home. Keiko didn’t seem to mind because she was busy waving to the audience as they were chanting her name. Takeshita was annoyed but he can still protect his KO-D Openweight Title so please continue to support him. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi closed out the show by singing “A Woman Born Is Osaka”.
Big men doing big moves was the theme of the other main event. Kazusada Higuchi stepped up to Shuji Ishikawa and wasn’t intimidated by the Triple Crown Champion. Back Drops, Lariats and even the Doctor Bomb could not win the match for Higuchi. Instead Ishikawa cut him off with a Knee Lift, a Sliding D, the Fire Thunder and then the Splash Mountain to finish it.
Dick Togo and Mad Paulie continued to fight each other at the end of the Wrestling Hunters Vs DAMNATION match. The rest of DAMNATION had to pull Paulie away from Togo. Save that energy for the Paulie Joshi, buddy.
Antonio Honda had the opportunity to join in with Kikutaro and Kuishinbo Kamen’s famous wrestling exchanges but was struck with anxiety. He was up all of last night thinking of “Gon, The Little Fox” as usual. This annoyed his opponents so they decided to fight Honda two on one with some nonsense along the way. Kikutaro tired himself out and Honda easily submitted him with a Crab Hold to win. Honda thanked both of his opponents for the match. Kikutaro said he would like to do it again whenever the cost of his flights from and to Nevada are cheap.
In a moment of true villainy, Super Sasadango Machine rummaged through Yuni’s carry case before their trios match. Inside he found the kid’s fidget spinner and he stole it! Sasadango taunted Yuni by playing with the spinner in the ring then challenged him to take it back with his strength. To make it worse, Sasadango then stuffed the spinner down the front of Danshoku Dino’s tights. Yuni got help from Makoto Oishi and Jun Kasai to beat Dino, Sasadango & Atsushi Maruyama. Oishi gave Sasadango a Stunner, Kasai then hit the Pearl Harbour Splash and Yuni got the pin with the Sky Twister Press from the 2nd turnbuckle. After the match Kasai reached into Dino’s tights, pulled out the spinner and gave it back to Yuni.
There was a problem about the Battle Royal that needed to be solved. The original plan was for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship to be defended in the match but the current champion Maho Kurone was nowhere to be found. Yukinori Matsui told Amon Tsurumi that there needed to be a prize to motivate the contestants. Tsurumi thought about it and came up with an idea. He took off his afro and handed it over to Matsui. You see, the afro represents the power held by the DDT General Manager. Tsurumi announced that the winner will become the GM for one day. This will allow the winner to make any match or personal request that they desire. Saki Akai won the Battle Royal without eliminating anybody. She was tied up into a ball by Hirata Collection A.T. and left alone afterwards. Hirata and Joey Ryan were the last wrestlers left fighting and they eliminated each other so Akai was declared the winner. After Tsurumi freed her, he gave her the afro and asked her not to throw it away because she will have to wear it on the day she becomes the GM.
Shunma Katsumata & MAO recorded a message for the DDT fans while they were away competing in the NOAH Jr. Tag League. Unfortunately the audio was indecipherable because there was a strong wind while they were recording outdoors.

Joey Ryan is back and he has the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title with him. So his DDT Extreme Title match with Daisuke Sasaki is now a Double Title Match! Sasaki chose Last Man Standing as the stipulation. Ryan isn’t worried. He’s fought Cody Rhodes inside a Steel Cage and had Hardcore Matches with the Young Bucks. A Last Man Standing Match doesn’t scare him. Sasaki admires Joey for being a man’s man. Sasaki wants to exceed Joey so he can replace him as Candice LeRae’s tag partner and Laura James’s husband. Joey lost his temper and had to be calmed down by Amon Tsurumi. Sasaki then corrected himself and said he would rather marry Candice and team with Laura. Joey had enough and attacked Sasaki but Sasaki ducked and rolled him over with a School Boy. Daisuke Kiso was there to count the pin and award Sasaki with the Iron Man Title! However Joey then grabbed Sasaki’s arm, made him grab his crotch and flipped him onto a table with his dick strength. Joey pinned Sasaki to win back the Iron Man Title and promised he will do the same in Hakata to become a double champion.

9. Osaka Wrestling School Vs Kishiwada Gurentai – Challenge to Yukinobu ~ Special Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Shigehiro Irie Vs “Big Boss” MA-G-MA & Black Buffalo
The “DRAMATIC DREAMS!” show is a special event for Yukinori Matsui. DDT’s tribute to Osaka wrestling means a lot to him even if the current DDT fanbase may be too young to remember Osaka Pro’s glory days. But these shows are also a blast in the past for some of the wrestlers who were simply children when they were attending Osaka Pro events a decade ago, like Takeshita.
Be careful what you wish for. Takeshita & Shigehiro Irie wanted “Big Boss” MA-G-MA & Black Buffalo for a dream match. Now they are going to get them at their worst! The Osaka veterans attacked them with chairs during an interview to show that their match isn’t going to be fun and games.
Kazusada Higuchi is now a full time DDT wrestler. To celebrate, here’s Shuji Ishikawa. Go nuts.

7. DDT BATTLE FRONT Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & Shuji Ishikawa defeated HARASHIMA & Akito when Sasaki submitted Akito with La Mistica Cross Facelock Doppelganger (13:49)
8. Twelve New Year’s Eve Dream: Konosuke Takeshita defeated ZERO with the Cross Arm German Suplex (23:29).
The main event was an important one for Konosuke Takeshita. He was taking on one of his Osaka Pro heroes, ZERO. The wrestler now known as HUB found out about Takeshita’s dream to fight him and returned to his old gimmick for the special occasion. All kind gestures aside he didn’t take it easy on the kid. ZERO attacked Takeshita with a chair and then threw him into the crowd while they fought outside the ring. Later on ZERO stomped on Takeshita while yelling “What’s wrong!” until Takeshita fought back with Elbow Strikes. Takeshita hit the Blue Thunder Bomb and the German Suplex but ZERO kicked out of them both. ZERO avoided the Touchdown and hit a Shining Wizard to the back of the head for a nearfall. Takeshita returned with a Lariat and the Deadlift German Suplex but ZERO kicked out again. Takeshita struck him with a Running Elbow but ZERO kicked out at one. That seemed to be the last of his energy spent because Takeshita hit another Lariat and then the Cross Arm German Suplex to win a hard fought battle. ZERO told Takeshita he was feeling a lot of emotions throughout that match but most of them were of happiness. ZERO covered his face with a shirt and unmasked. He gave Takeshita his mask as a gift and told him it was specially made just for today’s match. Takeshita said he became a pro wrestler so he could wrestle ZERO. His dream came true so it was now time for a new dream. His new dream is to win the KO-D Openweight Title, boost Japanese wrestling and become the best wrestler in the world!
Daisuke Sasaki’s modified version of the Crossface Lock that won him the KO-D Title now has a name. It is now called the Cross Facelock Doppelganger. He used it to submit Akito in the semi-main event.
Jinsei Shinzaki took Super Sasadango Machine’s mask and wore it for the ending stretch of the 6-Man Tag. After the match Shinzaki took off the mask and told everyone else to sit down while he lectured them about wrestling and life.
Kazuki Hirata got Hiroshi Fukuda, Kuishinbo Kamen, Kikutaro and even Yukinori Matsui to dance with him before they started wrestling each other. Fukuda and Kikutaro also took some time to sing during the match. When Hirata and Kamen won they celebrated with more dancing until Kamen collapsed. Atsushi Maruyama ran down to check on him and then nervously thanked everyone for coming to the show. Kamen got up and sang “I Do Not Want To Release You” by T-BOLAN.
Dick Togo does what he wants whenever he is the referee. He was accidentally knocked down by a Bionic Elbow from Antonio Honda. However he saw Yasu Urano cheat by choking Honda with his bandana. Togo stopped him by giving Urano the Pedigree! Honda then hit the Diving Fist Drop to win the match.
There was no winner in the match between Danshoku Dino Vs Magnitude Kishiwada. There was a loser though. Yukinori Matsui kept getting in the way of Lip Locks from both Dino and Kishiwada until he fainted. Daisuke Kiso took his place just to call off the match but he received a Lip Lock from Dino too.
A “Luxury Prize” was promised to the winning team in the Surprise Tag Rumble. There were two surprise entries in the match. One was Ken Ohka & Hideki Shiota. Ohka just spent his time in the match promoting Ganbare☆Wrestling’s show in Osaka on 27th July. The second surprise team was Kota Ibushi & Gota Ihashi! This was Ibushi’s first appearance in DDT since “JUDGEMENT 2016” back in March. Ibushi & Ihashi came out the winners and were given their prize by Kuishinbo Kamen. The luxury prize was 24 copies of Kamen’s autobiography. In a backstage interview Ibushi said the 29th May is for now his last scheduled date of Ibushi Wrestling Institute activities. He said he will probably do something this year that will cause an explosion in wrestling and told everyone to just wait a little bit longer.

Until DDT comes to town they will be hoping that the Osaka Pro roster will lure out the ghostly champion and grab the belt off of her somehow.

4. KO-D Openweight Title: Danshoku Dino (c) Vs Hikaru Sato
Sanshiro Takagi’s Anti-Establishment unit is gaining momentum and also proving to be very beneficial for Takao Soma. The former Shit Heart ♥ Foundation leader has earned several wins lateley ever since he adopted the Boma Ye knee strike as his finisher. Takagi & Soma now have a KO-D Tag Team Title shot but that means taking on the Crying Wolf faction and their dominant team of Yasu Urano & Yuji Hino.

January 5, 2012
For those wondering where the infamous Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title has been for the last couple of weeks, the belt is currently making its way around the Osaka Pro locker room. When we last left the the title, Shigehiro Irie was the champion. He travelled down to the Osaka Minami Move On Arena on 29th December to compete on one of the small weekday Osaka Pro events to face Kanjyuro Matsuyama in the main event. Irie won that match but afterwards was pinned by Matsuyama in a sneak attack, losing the Iron Man Title to the Prima Donna kabuki wrestler.
The very next day, Tigers Mask won the belt by pinning both Matsuyama & Naoki Setoguchi at the same time in a 3 Way Match. The day after that was New Year’s Eve and the title switched hands yet again when Takoyakida defeated Tigers Mask in an impromptu challenge before that day’s show began. New Year’s Day was a break in the daily title changes as Takoyakida was on the winning side of a tag team match. The 2nd January however saw Ebessan defeat Takoyokida in the main event to win both the Iron Man Title and the Osaka Owarai Title. That title reign only lasted three days as Apple Miyuki defeated Ebessan on another weekday show.
Miyuki is still in possession of the belt as of this post and is Iron Man Champion #883. Her next match in Osaka Pro will be against Kushinbo Kamen on the 7th. Osaka Pro are holding 7 more shows until DDT visits Osaka on the 14th so there is a strong chance we will see many more title changes from now until then. However, both shows on the 14th January take place at the same time in different parts of Osaka, so chances of a DDT wrestler bringing the belt home looks slim at the moment.
Thanks to Extreme Party and Osaka Hurricane for the updates.
