Over the last year or two Yasu Urano has produced three independent shows featuring matches built around endurance. The first two shows in 2025 took place without an audience while the third that was held back in February was the first to happen in front of a crowd of fans. Urano went ahead and held another show today with a change to the format. The previous show was built around a round robin tournament of Iron Man matches. The same happened here except it was held as a single elimination tournament. However the show was laid out so everyone in the lineup would wrestle an identical number of matches all against unique opponents. So those who get eliminated from the bracket would still have more matches to wrestle while those who advance further get a breather before their bout in the next round.

The tournament was a mixed group of wrestlers. Urano was there as the technician along with Tsutomu Oosugi providing speed. Daiki Shimomura and Shota Kawakami were among the youngest wrestlers taking part. Ilusion was there too on the rulebreaker side alongside Ayato Yoshida. The wild cards were TAMURA⭐︎GENE⭐︎ (I only found out watching this that *GENE* is meant to be pronounced as “Generation”) and Ryo Mizunami. Every match had a 10 minute time limit and if the score was tied at the end, the winner would be chosen by two judges: Akito and Ikuto Hidaka. There was also Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi working the show as the ring announcer.

Niigata is the home of Super Sasadango Machine so he’s getting a big match for DDT’s return to the area. This time he’s facing HARASHIMA one on one. The two have some history together. Mainly 12 years ago when Sasadango originally created the Vertical Drop Lehman Shock as the finisher that was guaranteed to beat HARASHIMA for the KO-D Title… if he was able to hit it three times in their match. His plan didn’t work back then.

There was a Spirit Of Ganbare World Title match that happened in FREEDOMS this past Sunday when Mizuki Watase defended the title against Jun Kasai. The two were previously a tag team together in FREEDOMS and they even held the King Of FREEDOM World Tag Team Titles until recently. It was a match held under normal rules and Watase was able to beat Kasai to remain as champion. His next challenger has already been determined. Yumehito Imanari is turning 41 years old at this show and demanded he face the champion here so he can win the title on his birthday!

The regional battles waging within Ganbare☆Pro are continuing with the Toyama wrestlers now attracting the attention of wrestlers associated with the Naka Ward in Yokohama. Shuichiro Katsumura has drafted in Minoru Fujita to help him out and has another person on the way over to fight Ohka’s team of Toyama boys.

Over the weekend Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed became the No. 1 Contenders for the Princess Tag Team Titles. This is going to be the second time Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro are challenging for the titles together. Aino was half-responsible for ending Daydream’s first reign as champs at the very first “WRESTLE PRINCESS” back in 2020. Can she do it again with Kazashiro this time or will Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi prevent history from repeating itself.

The participants for the 3 Way Tag Match will be revealed soon, maybe even by the time I post this update.

Yeah, that’s a random 6-Person Tag Match they’ve added in there.

1. Ken Ohka 25th Anniversary Match Part 4: Ken Ohka Vs HARASHIMA

Ohka has not learned his lesson. He still wants to celebrate his 25th Anniversary and has gotten another match booked this year to continue the party despite protests from Imanari for relying on the marketing gimmick too much. His next opponent in this series is going to be HARASHIMA.
