The show was put together as a fan appreciation event where the BASARA roster was split into two teams: The Good Kids team and the Bad Kids team. Two of the matches ended up being draws including one between Takato Nakano and Daiki Shimomura that went to a twenty minute draw. The Bad Kids were able to win the series thanks to Ryota Nakatsu and FUMA winning their matches.

Daichi Kazato missed the show due to an illness. He was replaced by Shota Kawakami from Ganbare☆Pro in Match #2.

3. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga (w/ Gouma Ryu) defeated Isami Kodaka, Lil’ Kraken & Takeru Inoue when Hiroshi pinned Inoue with the Perfect Plex (8:57).

5. IRON FIST Tag Tournament – Final: Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino defeated Kyu Mogami & Naka Shuma when Nakano pinned Shuma with the Takagari (18:30).

This year’s IRON FIST Tag Tournament winners are Aijin Tag! They got past Shitamachi Rocket in the semi final, mostly because Daichi Kazato’s constant backfiring moves was too much for even Ryota Nakatsu to make up for. Their opponents in the final were the two delinquints from MJ2. They got past Hyakusho Ikki by tricking Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA into using weapons in front of the ref so they would get disqualified. Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino were able to defeat Kyu Mogami & Naka Shuma to win the final but they told the fans afterwards that is only half of MJ2 they have beaten. The other half Kengo Mashimo & Ayumu Honda also happen to be the Iron Fist Tag Team Champions so Aijin Tag want to face them next with the belts on the line! Honda was in the corner for Mogami & Shuma during the show. He didn’t say anything but did shake hands with Nakano & Kamino to accept their challenge. The title match will happen on 31st October.

3. IRON FIST Tag Tournament – A Block Round 1: Ryota Nakatsu & Daichi Kazato defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Tsutomu Oosugi when Nakatsu pinned Hiroshi with an Inverted Hurricanrana (11:47).
4. IRON FIST Tag Tournament – B Block Round 1: Kyu Mogami & Naka Shuma defeated Daiki Shimomura & Lil’ Kraken when Mogami pinned Kraken after a Weapon Attack (10:47).
5. IRON FIST Tag Tournament – A Block Round 1: Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino defeated Takeru Inoue & Tomoki Hatano when Nakano pinned Inoue with the Takagari (15:59).

This year’s IRON FIST Tag Tournament begins and Aijin Tag are feeling unstoppable. Their opponents Takeru Inoue & Tomoki Hatano both have a background in volleyball and used volleyball inspired moves. They even name their team the Death Volleyball Club. Although they lost to Aijin Tag today, Inoue & Hatano claim just need to beat them the next two times they meet in order to become the real winners in the end.

The MJ2 domination in BASARA slightly increases with one half currently holding the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles and the other half here advancing past the first round. Kyu Mogami & Naka Shuma cheated to be Daiki Shimomura & Lil’ Kraken by attacking them with a chair. Neither of them thought the win was anything special and they felt like their opponents were missing for the entire match. They warn everyone that MJ2 is in BASARA to take it over!

Ryota Nakatsu got one back on Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi after getting pinned by him in Gunma last week. This time Nakatsu avoided the Spinebuster and used an Inverted Hurricanrana to get the three count on his upcoming Union MAX Title challenger. Daichi Kazato also thinks he and Nakatsu won because Gouma Ryu, the brains of WizRYU, wasn’t there to be with his team today. Shitamachi Rocket feel like they still need to improve as a team but if they have a score for today it is 95 out of 100.

The winners of the very first IRON FIST Tag Tournament decided to enter it again but couldn’t make it past the first round this time. Instead Ryuichi Sekine rolled up Isami Kodaka into a position for FUMA to kick him so Sekine could then apply the Let’s Combine to make Kodaka give up without Takumi Tsukamoto being able to stop it.

The IRON FIST Tag Tournament semi-finals on 15th October will be Shimatachi Rocket Vs Aijin Tag in the A Block and Hyakusho Ikki Vs MJ2 in the B Block. The final will take place on the same show.

A big task awaits for Takeshi Masada. It’s bad enough he pissed off Minoru Suzuki when he challenged him for the DDT Universal Title but before that match happens he also has to deal with Shinya Aoki in the meantime.

Yuki Iino will be hold an emergency press conference at the show tomorrow. I don’t expect the news to be drastic like him leaving the company anytime soon just because he’s already in the middle of a storyline and holds a few prizes that DDT would need take off of him if he was to leave for somewhere else. Maybe he just wants to announce when he is cashing in his title shot.

That means Hyper Misao and Wakana Uehara are going to clash one on one in an international buildup for the Princess Tag Team Titles!

One of the novelties that happen when TJPW come to Arisu Endo’s hometown is the local mascots get involved in the show. Akabe and Kappa Green have both featured on these shows in the past but never at the same time. Until next weekend that is.

Preparations for the upcoming Iron Fist Tag Tournament are in full gear at the next BASARA show. Takeru Inoue and Tomoki Hatano will be teaming up for the tournament but they will wrestle each other here first. Several other teams will be in action too.

At the last show Masato Kamino teamed up with WizRYU under a mask as Body Slam Machine. Now Gouma Ryu had nothing to do with that but the new unit is named after him so he better be careful if Takato Nakano thinks he is taking away his Aijin Tag partner.

Daichi Kazato gets his wish to team up with Guts Ishijima. His tournament partner Ryota Nakatsu is on the team too so at least there is someone normal there for Ishijima to get along with.

Even with having Speed Of Sounds and a masked Masato Kamino on his team, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi wound up in a 3-Vs-1 situation in the Elimination Tag match. But through the skin of his teeth he was able to fight against the odds and become the sole survivor of the main event. After the match he explained Kamino wrestled in a mask because he was supposed to be Body Slam Machine but WizRYU needs to give him some fine tuning. Hiroshi then said on 31st October he will be the one wearing the Union MAX Champion! Backstage Ryota Nakatsu recognized Hiroshi as the “strongest foreigner” which means as a Japanese wrestler he cannot afford to lose the title to him. Also BASARA has recently rejoined Wrestle Universe with this month’s shows being added to the service so Nakatsu hopes new fans will get hooked if they give BASARA a try.

It’s been years since Daichi Kazato and Guts Ishijima have seen each other. So long in fact that when Ishijima saw what Kazato is like now, he remarked that he is nothing like he was as a high school student. At the start of the show Kazato explained his history with Ishijima to the audience. He was a high school student doing backyard wrestling when Ishijima found him and invited him to train over the summer. One of the things Kazato learned was a Dropkick that is so dangerous he was banned from using it. So today he was going to unban the move! During the match Ishijima was confused by Kazato’s wrestling style which included several moves backfiring. But Kazato’s unusual style made Ishijima more tired than a usual wrestling match and while that did give Kazato the advantage for a while, Ishijima ended up beating him. Afterwards Kazato said the match really brought him back to his routes and he would love to team with Ishijima sometime.

The rookie Takeru Inoue earned his first victory by beating Shota Kawakami and he did it all by himself!

The next Iron Fist Tag Tournament will be held later in the year. The teams entering are Ryota Nakatsu & Daichi Kazato, Aijin Tag, Hyakusho Ikki, Daiki Shimomura & Lil’ Kraken, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Tsutomu Oosugi, Isami Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto, Takeru Inoue & Tomoki Hatano and Naka Shuma & Kyu Mogami.

Out of all the times Ryota Nakatsu had a championship match, this one was probably the most unusual. Daichi Kazato brought along several long rubber straps to either use as weapons against Nakatsu or as something to slingshot himself at Nakatsu. The straps limited the Union MAX Champion from using a lot of his regular moveset but when they were eventually taken out of the picture, he countered a roll up from Kazato into one of his own to win the match. Nakatsu asked the fans after the match if they noticed he couldn’t do any Zero Fighter Kicks, German Suplexes or V Sliders because of Kazato’s plan. They still had an exciting match though and he called Kazato the craziest guy.

With today’s victory Nakatsu said he now has nothing to fear when it comes to defending the MAX Title. Suddenly Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s music played and Hiroshi was carried down to the ring by his fellow WizRYU members Gouma Ryu and Speed Of Sounds. He said he knows Nakatsu all too well and asked if he was scared of him? He knows the last person Nakatsu wants to be challenged by is “Mr. Perfect” Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi! The champ admits Hiroshi can be scary but he isn’t afraid of him so he accepts the challenge. Hiroshi then tried to attack him but Kazato suddenly came to Nakatsu’s rescue! Nakatsu appreciated it so much that he decided he and Kazato should team up together. Backstage Hiroshi announced his MAX Title challenge will happen on 31st October.

Isami Kodaka missed the show due to illness. He was replaced by Fuminori Abe in Match #4.

Match #3 ended in a Double Countout after SAGAT lost his temper and threw Ayumu Honda into the audience. He then purposely prevented Honda from making it back to the ring. As soon as the match ended, SAGAT demanded an Iron Fist Tag Team Titles shot with Minoru Fujita as his partner because the Super Family are fed up with Honda and Kengo Mashimo. Hiroshi on Honda’s behalf accepted the challenge and said the match will happen on 17th September. He thinks Mashimo will be available on that date.

As the summer nears its end Ganbare☆Pro finds itself fighting two different battles. While their own shows are currently focusing on a rivalry with FREEDOMS, several of their wrestlers are also making their presence felt on BASARA shows. The latest match to happen is a young generation battle where BASARA’s Takeru Inoue will face off against GanPro’s Shota Kawakami. GanPro are also sending over Keisuke Ishii and Munetatsu Nakamura for matches. Maybe one of them will take part in Daichi Kazato’s 15th Anniversary bout?

It has been just under one year since BASARA last held a show at Korakuen Hall. Now under new management, today’s show is the next chapter for the company. Even though they did not announce an attendance number, the word going around from them and wrestling reporters is this was the biggest crowd they have ever had! The new president Ryota Nakatsu credited everyone involved with the show from those signed with the company to those who wrestle freelance for all of the hard work they did to promote it. The next goal Nakatsu has in mind is to sell enough tickets to open up the north side of Korakuen and then fill that up too. He also promised to openly talk about the positives and negatives happening in BASARA because there is no point in a company like this trying to look cool.

In the main event Nakatsu defeated the new sales manager Takumi Tsukamoto in his first defence of the Union MAX Title. Nakatsu said it felt amazing for both of them to be BASARA’s main focus today. Tsukamoto agreed and is a litle worried he may have lost his mind during the match because it felt so good. Nakatsu then promoted the next show on 20th August until he was interrupted by Daichi Kazato and Ayato Yoshida. Kazato climbed the turnbuckle and held onto a large rubber strap. Yoshida then pulled the strap back and snapped it back into Kazato’s face. Nakatsu was confused until Kazato explained that is his way of challenging him for the MAX Title.

Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA named themselves Hyakusho Ikki because they wanted to defend the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles a hundred times. They couldn’t even make it to three. Instead Kengo Mashimo & Ayumu Honda are the new champions after Honda made FUMA submit to the Jumping Armbar. FUMA later told Sekine that they were sent back down to rock bottom but that just means it’s time to start preparing for the next harvest. The challengers brought along Naka Shuma and Kyu Mogami to be their cornermen because all four of them are part of a unit in 2AW called MJ2. But when Mashimo & Honda won the titles Honda (through Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi) told Shuma & Mogami that they weren’t needed anymore! Backstage Shuma & Mogami said it’s boring to just be cornermen so they decided maybe they will come liven up BASARA too!

The first appearance of El Desperado in BASARA had a little extra backstory to it involving one of his opponents. Masato Kamino took the New Japan entrance exam back in October 2012 where he gave up on the test halfway through. But he remembers the sight of Kyosuke Mikami watching him in the crowd that day. They were opponents today with Desperado teaming up with Isami Kodaka while Kamino was part of the Aijin Tag with Takato Nakano. Desperado ended up winning when he gave Nakano the Reverse Tiger Driver followed by the Pinche Loco. Desperado praised his opponents and would like for more fans to discover them. He thinks Aijin Tag would even win over NJPW fans if they were to ever wrestle over there. Kodaka said he would love to team with Desperado again because it would be a shame for them to stop after just one match. Nakano said it was a dream come true to fight a New Japan champion because his mother loves NJPW. His next dream is to beat El Desperado! Kamino called this match a milestone in his life and he will be starting again from here. Aijin Tag are now thinking about entering a Jr. Tag tournament to make a new impact.
