1. Suzume defeated Uta Takami with the Ring A Bell (6:28).
2. Yuki Kamifuku & Haruna Neko defeated Raku & Chika Nanase when Neko pinned Nanase with the Nekodebreaker (8:17).
3. Rika Tatsumi & Moka Miyamoto defeated Arisu Endo & Ivy Steele when Miyamoto submitted Steele with the Rashomon (10:42).
4. Hyper Misao defeated Yoshiko Hasegawa with the Hypami Returns (9:47).
5. Pom Harajuku defeated HIMAWARI with the Pom de Justice (7:32).
6. Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh & Mahiro Kiryu defeated Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Kaya Toribami when Yamashita pinned Toribami with the Attitude Adjustment (12:45).
7. Miu Watanabe, Haru Kazashiro & Toga defeated Mizuki, Wakana Uehara & Shino Suzuki when Watanabe pinned Suzuki with the Tear Drop (13:24).

Miu Watanabe is winning the battle against Mizuki but is there something she can’t stop thinking about that will lose her the war? She showed her monstrous strength in the main event by giving Mizuki the Giant Swing on the ring apron. She later gave both Mizuki & Shino Suzuki a stacked Tear Drop over her shoulder. Toga & Haru Kazashiro were also able to show off how well they are becoming as a team. The three of them were the winners but Watanabe couldn’t help but ask them to assure everyone in Yokohama that she is a super cute princess. Backstage Watanabe said she wants today’s Giant Swing to go viral so many more people will watch the Princess Of Princess Title match on 4th January. Mizuki was suprised by the Giant Swing through the ropes. It was something she couldn’t predict. She called Watanabe a one woman Beauty & The Beast because she looks like a princess but has the shadow of a monster!

The clumsiness of Mahiro Kiryu actually helped her team win. She was knocked prone late in the match and Kaya Toribami tripped over her while she dodged Miyu Yamashita’s High Kick. Toribami bounced off the ropes and stumbled over Kiryu again right into Yamashita’s arms for the Attitude Adjustment that ended the match.

The all conquering Pom Harajuku returned to Tokyo Joshi Pro with the SETUP All Asia Women’s Title (that she dropped by accident during her ring entrance). She also wore homemade headwear to look like a sunflower because HIMAWARI was her opponent today. HIMAWARI didn’t get the joke. Harajuku won the match and knows Matcha is on her way to try and take the title back from her. Harajuku said the belt belongs to her and she won’t lose!

While Hyper Misao was away with an injury, she missed her chance to welcome Yoshiko Hasegawa to TJPW. So today she got to tell her how happy she is that out of all of the joshi wrestling promotions out there, Hasegawa chose to join TJPW. She gave her the microphone to speak but then attacked Hasegawa from behind and choked her with the microphone cord. Hasegawa tried her best to fight back but Misao kept finding tricks to counter her until she won the match. She was being genuine about welcoming Hasegawa to TJPW though. She encouraged her to enjoy a fun wrestling life as a member of the company.

Misao then talked about the current state of TJPW, believing the group’s power level is reaching MAX status with the recent additions to the roster. TJPW will be facing DDT in a 6-Man Tag Match at “ULTIMATE PARTY 2024” on 28th December and she thinks her team will definitely win. Suddenly Super Sasadango Machine made and appearance and entered the ring carrying a bag. He told Misao that DDT is filled with bad behavior but when you remove the hard shell there is a fluffiness to be found beneath it. He came here today to negotiate a peaceful settlement between DDT and TJPW. He brought with him a bag of luxury chocolate from Niigata for Misao. She can have it if the TJPW team cancels the match at Sumo Hall so no one will have to watch DDT tear them apart. While Misao was considering the offer, Rika Tatsumi got into the ring and choked Sasadango! Misao joined in the attack and the two of them told Sasadango that public bribery is a violation of the rules! They decline his offer and TJPW will beat DDT at Sumo Hall! They then walked off with the bag of chocolate.

When Sasadango recovered from the attack he got on the microphone and complained to Tetsuya Koda about the behavior of his wrestlers. Sasadango was humiliated and he will make Koda take responsibility for it. He suddenly attacked Koda and promised to humiliate TJPW at Sumo Hall! Tatsumi & Misao ran back down to chase Sasadango away and literally slap Koda back to life. They still kept the chocolate because it would have been rude not to accept it. Sasadango told reporters this is now a company-to-company issue between DDT and TJPW.

The first three teams entering the 2025 Max Heart Tournament were announced. They are Kyoraku Kyomei (Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao), Daisy Monkey (Suzume & Arisu Endo) and Pompaler (Pom Harajuku & Max The Impaler). Nine other teams will enter the tournament in January for a total of twelve teams taking part.

The show began with the draw for all of the singles matches taking place on 21st December. The ten matches will each have a 7 minute time limit. They are Moka Miyamoto Vs Ivy Steele, Shino Suzuki Vs Raku, Miyu Yamashita Vs Mizuki, Rika Tatsumi Vs Shoko Nakajima, Chika Nanase Vs Uta Takami, Maki Itoh Vs Toga, Mahiro Kiryu Vs Yoshiko Hasegawa, Yuki Kamifuku Vs Yuki Aino, Haruna Neko Vs Wakana Uehara and Hyper Misao Vs Haru Kazashiro.

TJPW Rush! Princess Vs Monster But Which Is Which? Arai Commits To Pro Wrestling

December 3, 2024

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “WINTER STORY”, 14/12/2024

1. Ivy Steele Vs X

The British exchange student Ivy Steele makes her Tokyo Joshi Pro debut later this month. She is studying in Japan and training in the TJPW dojo while she is over there. She’s been wrestling in the UK since 2018 and it’s always been her dream to wrestle in Japan. So much so that she took part in TJPW’s trainee audition during the Autumn which is how she got to be part of the company now.

Yeah so Pom Harajuku has a championship now and I still don’t know what to make of it. She won the SETUP All Asia Women’s Title in Thailand a few days ago. I think she is going to be on this show so that means it will be her first TJPW appearance since winning the title.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW YEAR-END PARTY 2024”, 29/12/2024
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. TJPW RUSH! Year End Special Red And White Team 5 Vs 5 Knockout Match: Shoko Nakajima, X, X, X & X Vs Mizuki, X, X, X & X
Other Participants: Suzume, Arisu Endo, Moka Miyamoto, Yoshiko Hasegawa, Haru Kazashiro, Toga, Shino Suzuki and Uta Takami
2. Queen Of Asia Title & VPW Women’s Title: Yuki Kamifuku (c/c) Vs Lei Ying Lee
3. I Hope There Will Be Lots Of Fun And Exciting Things Next Year! New Year’s Japanese Pro Wrestling! 20 Wrestler PRINCESS RUMBLE 2024: X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X Vs X

The Princess Rumble is the main event and will be the final TJPW match of 2024. Surely there is going to be a lot of double booking on this show because I cannot see Tetsuya Koda wanting to book over 30 people for this event for only a few minutes of work in the ring, even at this time of year.

A familiar TJPW match stipulation is getting a makeover for the holidays. A 5 Vs 5 Gauntlet Match will be held with Shoko Nakajima captaining the Red Team and Mizuki in charge of the White Team. Every match in the Gauntlet has a 5 minute time limit and can be won with a 2 Count Pinfall. If a match ends in a time limit draw then it will restart with 1 Count Sudden Death Rules with no time limit. The two captains will choose their teams through a lottery soon.

Yuki Arai will be on the show. Speaking of which…

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI PRO ’25”, 04/01/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Shoko Nakajima Vs Hyper Misao
2. International Princess Title: Yuki Arai (c) Vs Suzume
3. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Mizuki

Actually first let’s talk about the 4th January main event. Miu Watanabe’s first run as the Princess Of Princess Champion has gone great. The best way to book a champion’s first reign is to feed them a bunch of previous champions to further establish them as a main eventer and that’s what was done here. There were also a few international challengers on the side which is a good way to build up a champion domestically as well. Watanabe has the second most title defences in a single reign and Mizuki is the only former champion still with the company who now stands in her way. Mizuki says by beating so many monsters, Watanabe has now become the monster everyone else needs to be. Watanabe doesn’t accept that logic. She is still the princess who defeats the monster, not the other way around.

Okay let’s get to the Yuki Arai news. Last week she announced her decision to graduate from SKE48. She will be leaving the idol group on 31st March next year. Today she put out another announcement, this time about her pro wrestling career. She ain’t leaving! While her SKE48 days are coming to an end, she has decided to fully commit as a pro wrestler and continue working with TJPW! She will continue to be managed by Zest, which just so happens to be SKE48’s talent agency. By the sounds of it, pro wrestling is going to be Arai’s full time career going forward next year.

It’s the sixth annual Ittenyon match between Kyoraku Kyomei! Ever since 2020 Shoko Nakajima and Hyper Misao have had a singles match against each other at Korakuen Hall on 4th January. Usually there is a wacky match stipulation involved and in the early years the loser would change their name and gimmick for a month. However ever since the Max Heart Tournament was created, Kyoraku Kyomei instead use the match to prepare themselves for the tournament. They have yet to win the tournament but everybody likes the tradition. Nakajima currently has a 4-2 record against Misao in the series. If you noticed the numbers don’t add up properly that’s because one year the both of them were declared winners instead of their match being called a draw.

1. Moka Miyamoto defeated Kira Summer with the Rashomon (6:11).
2. 3 Way Match: Rika Tatsumi defeated Kaya Toribami and Chika Nanase when Tatsumi pinned Nanase with the Twist Of Fate (7:31).
3. Hyper Misao & Haruna Neko defeated Mahiro Kiryu & HIMAWARI when Misao pinned HIMAWARI with the Hypami Returns (9:55).
4. Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Aino defeated Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara when Nakajima submitted Uehara with the Unmanned Local Train Hold (11:01).
5. Mizuki, Suzume, Arisu Endo & Yoshiko Hasegawa defeated Miu Watanabe, Raku, Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami when Mizuki pinned Suzuki with the Cutie Special (12:54).
6. Princess Tag Team Titles: Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh (c) defeated Haru Kazashiro & Toga when Itoh submitted Kazashiro with the Itoh Deluxe (19:35).
*V2 for 121000000.

The Next Generation team of Haru Kazashiro & Toga faced up to the seniors they idolize the most for Tokyo Joshi Pro’s 11th Anniversary. They launched an attack where Toga hit Miyu Yamashita with the Elbow Butt while Kazashiro knocked down Maki Itoh with the Low Cross Body. Kazashira then gave Itoh the Fisherman Suplex but Yamashita made it over to break the pin in time. Toga took care of Yamashita with the Rock Bottom but Kazashiro couldn’t pull off a second Fisherman Suplex. Instead Itoh blocked her offence, knocked her down with the Stunner and made her submit to the Itoh Deluxe.

Itoh reminded Kazashiro about her making the title challenge last week. She said she knew back then than Kazashiro would show her something interesting in today’s match. But this can’t be the end, right? Kazashiro can still do more. She and Toga are welcome to challenge 121000000 again. This time Itoh dares them to try and break her middle finger! Yamashita also told Toga not to be satisfied until she can beat her. Everyone in the ring should all get stronger so they can have better matches against each other. 121000000 are now looking forward to the 4th January Korakuen Hall show. They are ready to defend the Princess Tag Team Titles against any team from around the world.

When Match #5 was over Mizuki called Miu Watanabe to get back into the ring. Mizuki talked to her about how much everyone in TJPW has grown since she last held the Princess Of Princess Title. She couldn’t help but feel disappointed seeing Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima and Rika Tatsumi all lose to Watanabe in title matches this year but it is also cool to see how bright Watanabe is shining as the champion. Watanabe is now the unbeatable monster and Mizuki thinks she is the only one left who can challenge her. Watanabe corrected Mizuki and said she is a princess, not a monster. They will fight for the title on 4th January to see who the true princess is!

Mizuki also threw in her support for Suzume as she gets ready for her International Princess Title match on 4th Janaury. She told her they will do their best to win the two championships together. Meanwhile Watanabe still took exception to being called a monster. She told reporters backstage that a princess is someone who beats monsters just like in a certain anime. Do no call her a monster under any circumstances! Watanabe beats monsters so that means she is a princess!

Rika Tatsumi told her opponents she is the God of 3 Way Matches. She ordered Kaya Toribami and Chika Nanase to fight each other and she would take on the winner. She then sat on the corner turnbuckle and yelled instructions at them until they caught her trying to pin one behind the other’s back. The 3 Way went on as normal and she ended up winning anyway.

At the start of the show TJPW introduced British wrestler Ivy Steele to the audience. Steele is a university student from Manchester, England who is currently studying in Japan as part of a foreign exchange. She already has experience wrestling in Britain under the name Fifi and it’s been her dream to wrestle in Japan. She is currently training in the TJPW dojo and will have her first match with the promotion on 14th December in Yokohama.

The sixth annual Shoko Nakajima Vs Hyper Misao Ittenyon match was announced for 4th January.

The Full Card For Ultimate Party 2024

November 24, 2024

DDT “ULTIMATE PARTY 2024”, 28/12/2024
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Demus & Ilusion Vs Yuni & Kazuma Sumi
2. Shuji Ishikawa, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Shinichiro Kawamatsu Vs Masahiro Takanashi, Daichi Sato & Yuki Ishida
3. DDT Vs TJPW Full-Scale 6-Man Tag Match: Toru Owashi, Super Sasadango Machine & Antonio Honda Vs Rika Tatsumi, Hyper Misao & Pom Harajuku
4. Special Tag Match ~ O-MENZ Kumadori Debut Match: Kazuki Hirata & Kumadori Vs Makoto Oishi & Akito
5. Special 6-Man Tag Match ~ Haruto Sakuraba Debut Match: KANON, MJ Paul & Haruto Sakuraba Vs HARASHIMA, Yuki Iino & Soma Takao.
6. Special Tag Match: Shinya Aoki & Keigo Nakamura Vs Kenoh & Yu Owada
7. Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Takeshi Masada
8. Special Single Match: Jun Akiyama Vs Yukio Naya
9. Special Single Match: Great-O-Khan Vs Danshoku Dieno
10. KO-D Tag Team Titles: MAO & To-y Vs Tetsuya Endo & Yuya Koroku
11. KO-D Openweight Title: Chris Brookes Vs Daisuke Sasaki

Here is the full lineup for DDT’s final show of the year. New KO-D Tag Team Champions will be crowned with the replacement match keeping The 37KAMIINA Vs BURNING as its theme. You’d think To-y will want to win the belts for Shunma Katsumata but instead he is fighting for himself. That is a lesson for Yuya Koroku to learn, you still need an ego to make it as a pro wrestler.

Great-O-Khan Vs Danshoku Dieno is for the sickos but probably not the sickos you want to associate with. It’s the holder of New Japan’s notorious King Of Pro Wrestling Title taking on the DDT Extreme Champion, which is pretty much what the KOPW is trying to be. At the moment neither title seems to be on the line.

The original “ULTIMATE PARTY” shows were to bring all of the DDT (and later CyberFight) brands together so NOAH and Tokyo Joshi Pro will both have some presence on the card. Shinya Aoki has a bad habit of constantly calling out opponents for matches that no company wants to book for one reason or another. When he’s not trying to challenge Katsuhiko Nakajima to a fight he is instead trying to goad Kenoh into wrestling him. It is well known by now how much Kenoh looks down on DDT. He will bitterly accept them for what they are but he would rather be caught dead than stand in a DDT ring again. However Aoki & Keigo Nakamura have stuck a nerve with him enough to make him swallow his pride and fight in DDT again. He will be joined by NOAH rookie Yu Owada for the tag match. Aoki started this whole thing by saying he is going to beat Kenoh at Budokan Hall on New Year’s Day but I’m not sure if NOAH will actually book that match as a follow up for the DDT bout.

The two celebrities are both being put in tag matches. Haruto Sakuraba is living up to his deal with DAMNATION T.A to team with them in order to become a heel. Kumadori is naturally teaming up with DDT’s resident dancer Kazuki Hirata, mainly because Hirata admits he cannot beat him in dancing or wrestling.

TJPW are sending over the colorful trio of Rika Tatsumi, Hyper Misao & Pom Harajuku to take on the misfit squad of Toru Owashi, Super Sasadango Machine & Antonio Honda. It is a big reunion for Misao and Sasadango. They famously put together Misao’s “retirement” match in 2020 that was actually a surprise announcement of her marriage.

3. Zara Zakher & Yuki Aino defeated Mizuki & Kaya Toribami when Zakher pinned Toribami with the Control Z (9:34).
4. Miu Watanabe, Raku, Suzume & Moka Miyamoto defeated Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh, Yuki Kamifuku & Yoshiko Hasegawa when Suzume pinned Hasegawa with the Ring A Bell (11:10).
5. Rika Tatsumi & Arisu Endo defeated Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao when Tatsumi submitted Misao with the White Dragon Sleeper (15:34).
6. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Final: Haru Kazashiro defeated Toga with the Fisherman Suplex (8:49).
7. International Princess Title: Yuki Arai (c) defeated Shazza McKenzie with the Finally (11:01).
*V6 for Yuki Arai.

That’s successful defence number six for Yuki Arai. The closest Shazza McKenzie could get to beating her was with a Fisherman Suplex that Arai kicked out of. Arai took control from there and used the Full Nelson Buster to set up the match winning Finally. Arai used broken English to tell McKenzie she would like another match with her. But for now she needs a new challenger to continue her record breaking International Princess Title reign. Suzume answered the call and said she wants a match with the dazzling champion. Arai got excited because she hasn’t defended the belt against Suzume yet so she suggested they can have the match at Korakuen Hall on 4th January. That means it will happen exactly one year after she became champion in the same venue! Suzume later explained that pro wrestling is a universal language. For example she doesn’t speak English at all but was still able to wrestle in Seattle recently. If Tokyo Joshi Pro can reach out across the world then she wants to do that as the IP Champion.

The youngest entrant in this year’s New Generation Tournament has won the whole thing! Haru Kazashiro pulled off the upset in the final by defeating Toga. She had Toga scouted by using an Armbar to counter the Rock Bottom. Toga hit back with the Rolling Thunder but Kazashiro was determined not to lose. Both tried to use their finishers to no avail but Kazashiro broke the deadlock by hitting a Low Cross Body. From there she was able to pin Toga with the Fisherman Suplex and win the tournament!

After receiving her winner’s medal, Kazashiro was ready to pick her title shot of choice for being the tournament champion. She always admired Maki Itoh and wants nothing more than to challenge her for a belt so she asked Toga if they can team up to fight 121000000 for the Princess Tag Team Titles! Toga accepted the offer and shook her hand. 121000000 then entered the ring to endorse the challenge. Itoh warned Kazashiro not to fight her as a fan but to beat her as a rival. Hazashiro promised she will crush her! Toga then revealed if she had won the tournament she would have wanted to go after Miyu Yamashita’s championship so she is getting what she wants anyway. Yamashita said she likes the look in Toga’s eyes and decided they should have the title match on 1st December.

For the first time in seven months Hyper Misao was here to protect TJPW for all of the big children who follow it. Before her comeback match began she told the fans how difficult it was to return. She not only had a broken ankle but also a broken heart from having to stay away from the ring for so long. But she kept an eye on TJPW from a distance and what she saw made her want to come back no matter what. She was really happy to be in the ring with Shoko Nakajima and Rika Tatsumi again (and Arisu Endo is there too) so she thought the best way to begin with a fresh start was to shake her opponents’ hands fair and square. Of course that turned out to be a trick so Kyoraku Kyomei could get the jump on Tatsumi & Endo. However Tatsumi was able to get Misao in the White Dragon Sleeper at the end to make her give up. Misao is not going to be pessimistic about her comeback ending in a loss though. She is looking forward to fighting and winning again. Nakajima didn’t mind losing either because whenever Ultraman Leo is defeated, he trains like crazy to get stronger and returns to beat the enemy! She wants to win the Tag Titles so the team will improve to become Super Hyper Kyoraku Kyomei! Meanwhile Tatsumi & Endo are wondering when Misao will produce another “HYPE!” show?

Pom Harajuku had special celebratory sashes made for herself and Haruna Neko to celebrate the 6th anniversary of their wrestling debuts. She also took advantage of Mahiro Kiryu giving Neko the Spinebuster by hooking both of their legs and pinning them for a double three count victory.

TJPW’s three annual big arena shows will all take place at the renovated Ota Ward Gymnasium in 2025. “GRAND PRINCESS ’25” will be on 16th March, “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25” will be on 21st July and “WRESTLE PRINCESS VI” will be on 20th September.

Big children rejoice for it’s the return of Hyper Misao to save the day! No better choice for her first match back from injury than to team up with Shoko Nakajima as Kyoraku Kyomei again. Rika Tatsumi will certainly welcome her back with a big hug that will suspiciously look a lot like a strangulation. Arisu Endo will probably stand to the side and give it a thumbs up.

Zara Zakher will be on the show.

3. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Round 1: Haru Kazashiro defeated Uta Takami with the Fisherman Suplex (6:49).
4. Yuki Kamifuku defeated Runa Okubo with two Famousers (8:15).
5. Moka Miyamoto & Kaya Toribami defeated Shoko Nakajima & Yoshiko Hasegawa when Miyamoto submitted Hasegawa with the Rashomon (12:38).
6. Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh defeated Rika Tatsumi & HIMAWARI when Yamashita pinned HIMAWARI with a Buzzsaw Kick (12:30).
7. Miu Watanabe & Wakana Uehara defeated Mizuki & Shino Suzuki when Watanabe pinned Suzuki with the Tear Drop. (11:59).

After the main event Miu Watanabe threw her support behind Wakana Uehara for the Next Generation Tournament. She’ll be cheering her on and encouraged Wakana to talk about it because she loves her enthusiasm. Uehara said she will definitely win the tournament for the second year in a row.

Today is the last time we’ll see Runa Okubo in a wrestling ring, at least for now. She is going on an indefinite hiatus to focus on her high school education so for her final match she got to face the person she most admires on the roster, Yuki Kamifuku. For the occasion Kamifuku used the Famouser twice to win the match before hugging Okubo afterwards. Okubo thanked everyone for taking care of her for the last year and seven months. Thnaks to pro wrestling she was able to meet so many wonderful people and she will love them always. Backstage Kamifuku said Okubo is at a sensitive point in her life because of her age and she wants her to live her life well. It’ll up to “that brat” Okubo to make the most of it. Okubo said she is sorry for her fans and her parents that she hasn’t shown her true potential yet. She wants to work hard and not make excuses.

The other two teenage girls on the roster faced each other in the Next Generation Tournament. Haru Kazashiro got the win over Uta Takami by hitting the Low Cross Body followed by the Fisherman Suplex. Kazashiro is said that Okubo is going away but knows it isn’t a goodbye so she wanted to show her how much she has grown. She is also glad to see how much Takami is having fun with wrestling every time they meet in the ring. Kazashiro wanted to win the match today not to crush Takami’s potential but to expand it even more. Takami admitted she went into the match with fake confidence to convince herself that she would win. She realised during the match that it was a bad idea because whenever she senses genuine intensity it feels different.

Haruna Neko is finally back after spending so long recovering from a torn ACL and torn meniscus in her left knee. The Love Triangle celebrated her return by all wearing cat ears before the match began. The ring rust still needs to be shaken off because Neko dropped the fall in her first match back, losing when Yuki Aino dodged the Nekodebreaker and pinned her with the Venus DDT. Aino had kind words to say about Neko’s return and believe she found a way to still get stronger during her recovery. Also according to Nao Kakuta online she was at the show today to see Neko’s return match.

The teams for the Rakuhan Vs Pom-chan Army team challenged on 10th November were picked before today’s show began. The Rakuhan consists of captain Raku, HIMAWARI, Ryo Mizunami, Ram Kaichow, Haru Kazashiro, Yuki Arai, Shino Suzuki and Chika Nanase. The Pom-chan Army is captain Pom Harajuku, Kaya Toribami, Mahiro Kiryu, Yoshiko Hasegawa, Uta Takami, Haruna Neko, Kira Summer and Toga. The winning team will receive 10kg of broiled eel as their prize because the show is now being sponsored by the Yamada Suisan seafood company.

Hyper Misao announced her return match from injury will take place on 22nd November. She has been out of action since April with a fractured ankle she suffered at the “GCW VS TJPW” show in America.

There will be a weekend of shows in January where TJPW will be at Mizuki and Yuki Aino’s hometowns. Mizuki’s show in Kobe is on 11th January and Aino’s show in Okayama is on the 12th.

5. Nao Kakuta Graduation Match: Mizuki defeated Nao Kakuta with the Cutie Special (15:33).

It was a bumpy road to retirement for Nao Kakuta. A back injury ended up cancelling some of her final matches in order to give her enough recovery time to make today happen. But it did take place and everyone in Tokyo Joshi Pro made sure to make the match a memorable one for Kakuta. When she and her opponent Mizuki kept pulling at each other’s hair. Mizuki complained that Kakuta always breaks the rules and will be a bad guy until the very end. Mizuki and the seconds at ringside then chased Kakuta out of the room. When they returned, the entire roster joined the chase into the ring. Mizuki then led the entire roster into a Train attack on Kakuta in the corner. This included the injured Haruna Neko and Hyper Misao both being carried along so they could be part of it too. Tetsuya Koda was also forced to join in but Kakuta blocked his attack with a Big Boot. The match went back to being just Kakuta versus Mizuki. Kakuta was almost counted out at one point but was able to fight back until Mizuki pinned her with the Cutie Special.

The two hugged each other after the match. Kakuta told everyone that when she was injured, Mizuki cried because it upset her so much. Kakuta cried too and was happy that there was someone else crying for her. That’s why she is happy her last match was against Mizuki. The graduation ceremony had Kakuta receive gifts and goodbyes from Tae Honma, Miyuki Takase, Momo Tani, Arisu Endo and Yuki Kamifuku. Kakuta gave her speech and said she was able to wrestle for 9 years because of everyone who supported her and cheered her on. Thanks to TJPW she fell in love with wrestling even more. Her advice for when something bad happens is to come see TJPW because everyone here will make you happy. She said everyone in the audience and watching at home are all her life’s treasures. The ten bell salute was given and she was announced as “Rat Chaser” Nao Kakuta for the final time.

1. Kaya Toribami defeated Chika Nanase with the Bird Cage (5:59).
2. HIMAWARI defeated Kira Summer with a Half Crab Hold (6:56).
3. Maki Itoh & Yuki Kamifuku defeated Wakana Uehara & Toga when Kamifuku pinned Uehara with the Famouser (12:06).
4. Suzume, Arisu Endo & Haru Kazashiro defeated Mahiro Kiryu, Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami when Endo pinned Suzuki with the Ju no Okite (12:56).
5. Rika Tatsumi, Shoko Nakajima, Mizuki & Runa Okubo defeated Miu Watanabe, Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku when Tatsumi submitted Harajuku with the White Dragon Sleeper (16:07).

In one week’s time Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi will be fighting each other over the Princess Of Princess Title so today was their final prelim match. Tatsumi suprised Watanabe with a Hip Attack right when the bell rang to start the match. She continued using Hip Attacks against Watanabe both inside and out of the ring. Watanabe made a comeback late in the match but again the Hip Attack was used to stop her. Tatsumi then won the match by putting Pom Harajuku in the White Dragon Sleeper.

Tatsumi told Watanabe after the match that what happened is not enough and they should do more warm up matches so she shouldn’t be running away. Watanabe said she is not running away and she will not let Tatsumi mess with her anymore. They will meet again at Korakuen Hall. Backstage Watanabe said she was under the mercy of Daydream in the build up to the match but now she is motivated to surpass Tatsumi. Meanwhile Yuki Aino is getting the Love Triangle to regroup for their next match together at Korakuen. She is looking forward to being in the ring with Yuna Manase again.

Shoko Nakajima said she was happy to wrestle against Raku today because Raku often teams with Aja Kong. So in a way the main event was Nakajima’s warm up for her upcoming singles match against Kong. Mizuki said she can feel Tatsumi’s momentum and it makes her want to see Tatsumi become the champion again. Runa Okubo believes she has grown enough that she can win the 6-Woman Tag match against her classmates at Korakuen.

Today is Mahiro Kiryu’s birthday but sadly her team lost their match. However everyone involved all sang happy birthday to her… only for the other team to attack her afterwards.

At a recent DDT show Maki Itoh told Sanshiro Takagi she was going to inherit the Stunner from him. She figured it would be a useful weapon for her when she goes back to America. She used the move today on Toga as a counter to the Rock Bottom. Then when Wakana Uehara put Yuki Kamifuku in the Banana Pillow, Itoh broke up the submission hold by Headbutting Uehara from behind. Itoh & Kamifuku dropped Uehara with an Elevated DDT double team and Kamifuku used the Famouser to win the match.

The injured trio of Nao Kakuta, Hyper Misao and Haruna Neko held a short talk segment in the middle of the show. Misao forgot her hero mask and had to use a temporary replacement to keep her identity hidden from the audience. She also convinced the others to take part in a “Sweet And Sour” rule during the talk. The rule was if anyone spoke in English they would have to drink a glass of sour lemon juice. Her plan backfired because she broke the rule three times. Kakuta only broke it once while Neko was clean the entire time. Misao challenged Kakuta to an all or nothing game of Rock, Paper, Scissors but she lost that too. However Kakuta agreed to take a drink with Misao to end the segment.

BASARA “BASARA 254 ~HIEN~”, 13/08/2024
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

Something BASARA tweeted out today is their plan to separate between the two kinds of “UTAGE” shows they will be producing from August onwards. The “HIEN” shows are now labelled as “Hard Mode” events. The tweet compares the term to “Bati Bati” and they later ruled out doing Hardcore Matches on these shows when a fan responding to them got the two mixed up. So it sounds like BASARA might be giving Battlarts style wrestling a go when using that name. The “SOUEN” shows are now labelled “Fudangi BASARA” and will be no different to the regular “UTAGE” shows they’ve been doing up until now.
