Well, Yoshiko Hasegawa said she wanted to fight everyone in Tokyo Joshi Pro before she retires so TJPW made sure nobody will be left out of her final match. It is a 1 Vs 27 Handicap Match but only one person on the team of 27 is allowed in the ring at one time and tags are in effect. It has not been decided yet how many falls the match will consist of. One definitely won’t be enough and previous retirement matches of this scale have done three falls.

An extra name has been added to the Texas tour. Wakana Uehara will be part of the weekend and there might be a good reason why. All of a sudden Miyu Yamashita is no longer able to perform on the 11th July show. That just so happens to be the same day as the next Ring Of Honor PPV and she has started appearing on their shows again. I mean it’s either that or she’s taking a flight to Tennessee for Smackdown (I kid, I kid). Yamashita will still be at the morning fan event in Houston.

The new DDT Extreme Champion put up a poll on Twitter asking fans who he should defend the title against first? To-y narrowed the choices down to wrestlers who have at least 5,000 followers and made fans choose between Yasu Urano, Kentaro Hachisu, Hikaru Sato and Mikiya Sasaki (with Shota in his corner). Sato won the vote pretty handily so he gets the title match. It wouldn’t be the first time a fan vote results in Sato winning a DDT championship.

DDT “D GENERATIONS 3 ~ACCELERATING BATTLE, UNSTOPPABLE AMBITION~”, 12/06/2025

1. Ryoma Tsukamoto defeated Yuki Ishida with the Jackhammer (9:21).
2. To-y defeated Mikiya Sasaki with the Kojima Impact (8:53).
3. Munetatsu Nakamura defeated Yuni with the Mune-chan Clutch (10:30).
4. Special Single Match: Soma Takao Vs Daichi Sato ended in a Time Limit Draw (15:00).
5. Special Single Match: Keisuke Ishii defeated Yuya Koroku with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (12:42).
6. Special Tag Match: Takeshi Masada & Kazuma Sumi defeated Shigehiro Irie & Shota when Masada pinned Shota with the Masada no Chikara KOBU Mukimuki (18:59).

Progress is being made for the D GENERATIONS wrestlers on their own show. The main event of their third produce show had Takeshi Masada & Kazuma Sumi beat Shigehiro Irie & Shota from the Young Communication side. It nearly went the other way when Shota caught Masada with the Gannosuke Clutch but Sumi was there to break the pin. Sumi then took out Irie with a Topé Suicida allowing Masada the space to give Shota his finisher for the victory. Masada had good news to share with fans after the match because he announced there will be a D GENERATIONS show every month from now on. The goal is to have a show where D GENERATIONS earn a clean sweep of wins across the card.

The Young Communication generation aren’t too bothered by losing the main event. Keisuke Ishii won his match against Yuya Koroku while Soma Takao fought Daichi Sato to a time limit draw. Shota said backstage that he is only the weakest member of the Young Generation and nobody in D GENERATIONS has been able to beat Irie or Ishii yet. He also warned there are other wrestlers who were part of the Young Communication and he may bring some of them over for the next show.

To-y considered Mikiya Sasaki to be a crazy opponent because of his Dory Funk Jr. influenced wrestling style so he wanted to absorb that weird craziness into himself. They fought outside the ring and Sasaki wore down To-y with old school punches and the Spinning Toe Hold. But To-y made a comeback and was able to win using the Kojima Impact. All of this was to help To-y become even crazier for his upcoming DDT Extreme Title shot against Super Sasadango Machine.

2. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – B Block Final: Ryota Nakatsu defeated Daiki Shimomura with the V Slider (5:37).
3. Isami Kodaka, TAMURA☆GENE☆ & Tomoki Hatano defeated Takato Nakano, Masato Kamino & Yasu Urano when Hatano pinned Urano with the Diving Guillotine Drop (13:28).
4. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Daichi Kazato ended in a Draw when both gave up at the same time (8:46).
5. Ryuichi Sekine, FUMA & Ayumu Honda defeated SAGAT, Lil’ Kraken & Minoru Fujita when FUMA pinned Kraken with a German Suplex (10:44).
6. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – Final: Ryota Nakatsu defeated Keisuke Ishii with the V Slider (15:44).

Ryota Nakatsu has now cemented himself as the most dominant wrestler in BASARA after winning the Chouten ~Itadaki~ for the third time in his career. Nakatsu beating Daiki Shimomura and Ishii beating Takumi Tsukamoto earlier in the show meant the final became BASARA Vs Ganbare☆Pro. Nakatsu kicked out of the High Angle Double Arm DDT and used a combination of German Suplex, Buzzsaw Kick and then the V Slider to win. Kazusada Higuchi stood in Nakatsu’s corner for the match and afterwards Nakatsu told him they will take the top spots of DDT and BASARA together! Backstage Ishii said he does not want his battles with BASARA to end because they have a lot of people he hasn’t fought yet. He would like to continue participating on their shows.

Since Nakatsu is already the Union MAX Champion, he decided that by winning this tournament he gets to decide his next title match. It will happen at the 3rd August Korakuen Hall show. He already expected to defend the title against the Chouten winner on that show and joked the Korakuen match will be Ryota Nakatsu Vs Ryota Nakatsu. Right now there is nobody he is interested in so he is beginning a new journey to find out who his challenger should be.

The Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Daichi Kazato match had Takeru Inoue interfering twice, once while wearing the Best Stretchman V3 costume and the other time while wearing the Judomaster outfit.

KUBITO was in attendance to give everyone an update on his health. At the 18th April BASARA show he collapsed at ringside during one of the matches and was rushed to hospital. His tests since then have showed abnormalities but he will remain out of action until the summer. He told fans he will be spending his time living happily from now own.

A few of the annual summer tournaments are coming to an end this week. BASARA has the final rounds of the Chouten ~Itadaki~ taking place tomorrow. From where I’m standing it looks like Daiki Shimomura is on the path to redemption by winning the tournament a year after coming back from his suspension. However Keisuke Ishii can become the rare outsider to win the tournament and continue BASARA’s interactions with Ganbare☆Pro down the line. Ryota Nakatsu is the current Union MAX Champion whose goal is to win the tournament as champ so he can choose his next challenger. That leaves Takumi Tsukamoto hanging around as the only one in the semi final without much of a story going into tomorrow. I don’t get the feeling it’s his turn to get pushed soon either.

KANON has a chance to get revenge on Hideki Okatani but Ueno is expecting Okatani to reach the final over him. In response to that KANON wants Higuchi to make the final instead of Ueno.

To celebrate he is gathering together six wrestlers who all mean a lot to him in some way for a 6-Man Tag Match. According to Kiso, MAZADA taught him the foundations of the wrestling world while Minoru Fujita once faced him in them middle of the crossroads between wrestling and life. Yasu Urano has already pointed him down the right path and Akito has been incredibly helpful to him ever since they started working together. Since TJPW means so much to him too he picked Shoko Nakajima to be in the match because she always puts her life on the line for the company. Last but not least he wants to be a part of Yoshiko Hasegawa’s retirement road and do everything he can to help her even if it’s just this little bit.

Another important milestone happening this year is Antonio Honda’s 20th anniversary. Chris Brookes asked him if he wanted to do an entire show to celebrate it. Honda considered it would be suitable for a Baka Gaijin + Friends sized show but he doesn’t have the desire to run an event himself. Brookes then asked Honda who he would like his opponent to be and he answered maybe Daisuke Sasaki. Word eventually made its way to DDT and they went and booked the match just for him. He is grateful for it.

6. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – Round 2 Block A: Keisuke Ishii defeated Isami Kodaka with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (13:38).

Four wrestler remain in the Chouten ~Itadaki~ tournament. The outsider Keisuke Ishii dumped BASARA’s own Isami Kodaka out of the bracket in the main event. It was their first singles match against each other in 12 years. Kodaka told Ishii afterwards they shouldn’t have to wait that long again to have a rematch. Ishii will face Takumi Tsukamoto in the semi final in what will be their first singles match together in around 15 years. Tsukamoto couldn’t beat Daichi Kazato with the regular Zudon so he had to use a spinning variant to get the three count. Daiki Shimomura is on a tournament run that could end up becoming his redemption for the year long suspension he went through. He eliminated Tomoki Hatano and will now face Ryota Nakatsu who he has beaten before in the 2021 tournament. Nakatsu defeated FUMA to reach the semi finals and is currently feeling in top form. He thinks Shimomura hasn’t got any heart and the two almost got into a fight backstage during the post-show interviews.

1. Special Single Match: Keisuke Ishii defeated Kazuma Sumi with the Spinning Body Bomb (8:35).
2. Soma Takao defeated Takumi Saito with the Official Endless Waltz (11:03).
3. Ali Najima defeated Yuni with a German Suplex (9:37).
4. Hideki Okatani & Ilusion defeated Munetatsu Nakamura & Shota Kawakami when Okatani pinned Kawakami with the Skewer-Style Claymore (11:38).
5. Special Single Match: To-y defeated Ryoma Tsukamoto with a Frankensteiner (9:03).
6. Special Tag Match: Shigehiro Irie & Shota defeated Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku when Shota pinned Masada with the Gannosuke Clutch (17:02).

The second D GENERATIONS show was a complete defeated against the Young Communication generation. All across the board the young wrestlers were beaten by their senior opponents. It started with Keisuke Ishii beating Kazuma Sumi then built up to Shota using the Gannosuke Clutch to pin Takeshi Masada in the main event. Shota told the DG wrestlers that it is ok to lose matches every now and then given how often they wrestle every week. The big mistake they made today was letting him win the match so he could give the winner’s speech on the microphone! He said his generation are the stars of the show meant for young wrestlers so next time they should take over the entire thing. When he left Sumi told the others they should join forces at the next show on 12th June to crush Shota & Shigehiro Irie because they are the future. Yuya Koroku agreed and said we can’t keep looking back at the past. The DG wrestlers should be confident in what they’re doing now to move forward.

On the bright side when the DG wrestlers fought against rookie wrestlers from other promotions most came out on the winning side. To-y had a come from behind victory against Ryoma Tsukamoto while the young DAMNATION T.A wrestlers beat the Ganbare☆Pro team with a little bit of cheating involved. Only Yuni lost his match against an outsider when Ali Najima defeated him.

DAMNATION T.A have a chance to fill up half of the semi-finals if Daisuke Sasaki and Hideki Okatani both win their matches. HARASHIMA hardly broke a sweat in his 1st Round match though and Yuki Ueno is feeling pretty motivated to climb back to the top of DDT too. KANON is calling himself the “Yukio Naya Killer” because Naya has never beaten him in their previous singles matches. That also leaves Kazusada Higuchi and Takeshi Masada fighting each other over one of the remaining spots.

When Round 2 has been completed a lottery will be held to pair off the semi-final matches.

The main event sees the two strongest TJPW wrestlers currently in Japan taking on the two youngest members of the roster. The youthful energy of Daisy Monkey will be pitted against the combination of years old wisdom plus earnestness found in Gabai Ji-chan & Mahiro Kiryu.

Plus Hasegawa gets two special matches with special guests involved. The main one is a tag match with against Tae Honma & Miyuki Takase bringing back memories of Actwres girl’z for the three of them. But also there will be a short exhibition match against Ai Shimizu, who has not wrestled since 2017. The two of them once starred in a wrestling themed play together back when they were both actresses and Shimizu was already gone from the wrestling business by the time Hasegawa debuted so they never got to be in the ring together. Hasegawa wanted it to happen so she came up with the idea to do an exhibition match and convinced Shimizu to do it.

3. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – Round 1 Block A – 2 Count Fall Rules: Daichi Kazato defeated Takato Nakano with the Rocket Punch Press (3:41).
4. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – Round 1 Block B – 2 Count Fall Rules: Tomoki Hatano Vs SAGAT ended in a Time Limit Draw (10:00).
4a. Overtime – 1 Count Fall Rules: Tomoki Hatano defeated SAGAT with a Cradle (1:11).
5. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – Round 1 Block A – 2 Count Fall Rules: Isami Kodaka defeated Masato Kamino with a School Boy (3:48).
6. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – Round 1 Block B – 2 Count Fall Rules: Ryota Nakatsu Vs Minoru Fujita ended in a Draw after a Double Pinfall from an Inside Cradle (5:03).
6a. Overtime – 1 Count Fall Rules: Ryota Nakatsu defeated Minoru Fujita with a Cradle (0:04).
7. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – Round 1 Block A – 2 Count Fall Rules: Keisuke Ishii defeated Ryuichi Sekine with a Jackknife Power Bomb (6:43).
8. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2025 – Round 1 Block B – 2 Count Fall Rules: FUMA Vs Ayumu Honda ended in a Time Limit Draw (10:00).
8a. Overtime – 1 Count Fall Rules: FUMA defeated Ayumu Honda with an Arm Bar (1:21).

After taking a year off the Chouten ~Itadaki~ returned for 2025 with an opening round full of shortened matches to encourage wrestlers to go at a sprint pace. Every bout needed only a 2 Count Pinfall to win. There was also a 10 minute time limit with any draws going into sudden death overtime where just a 1 Count Pinfall won the match. FUMA and Tomoki Hatano both made it to Round 2 by reaching the time limit and winning in extra time. Ryota Nakatsu and Minoru Fujita ended up pinning each other from an Inside Cradle so even though it wasn’t a time limit draw, they still went into overtime rules. Fujita very quickly went for the Samson Clutch but Nakatsu blocked it and say on top for the 1 Count Pin. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi used a Judomaster doppelganger to distract Daiki Shimomura but his plan didn’t work in the end.

The 2nd Round matches on 14th May will be Takumi Tsukamoto Vs Daichi Kazato, Isami Kodaka Vs Keisuke Ishii, Daiki Shimomura Vs Tomoki Hatano and Ryota Nakatsu Vs FUMA. Nakatsu accused BASARA of coming up with a conspiracy to stop him from winning the tournament because he had to fight Minoru Fujita instead of KUBITO (who was too injured to compete). He would like to have a rematch with Fujita under normal rules though. Hatano admits he was saved by the rules today and he remembers fighting Shimomura before. Shimomura doesn’t though.

FUMA said he will treat his Round 2 match with Nakatsu as if it was for the Union MAX Title itself. Kodaka remembered when he was invading Ganbare☆Pro he thought he would cross paths with Ishii but never did. They did have a tag match against each other last year but that was long after Kodaka was an enemy of GanPro. Ishii has never beaten Kodaka in a singles match so he is only focused on that instead of any inter-promotional feud. Tsukamoto is confident he will beat Kazato without needing a gameplan because his previous wins against him were all done with feeling instead of strategy. Kazato normally thinks Tsukamoto is scary but for some reason he thinks he is looking cute lately so he isn’t worried about fighting him.
