4. Tsuyoshi Kikuchi “Yakiniku Small Iron” Infomercial Match: Antonio Honda & Hiroshi Fukuda (w/ Great Kojika) defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Gorgeous Matsuno (w/ Tsuyoshi Kikuchi) when Honda submitted Matsuno with a Manjigatame (11:27).
5. Kota Ibushi & Daisuke Sasaki defeated Danshoku Jinsei & Makoto Oishi when Ibushi pinned Oishi with the Sit Down Last Ride (15:04).
6. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao (c) defeated HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Akito when Irie pinned Akito with the Beast Bomber (18:47).

The main event not only saw a successful KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Title defence but also the DDT Extreme Champion being pinned by his next challenger. Shigehiro Irie swore that he will win the title from Akito.

There was a clash of interest with the Infomercial Match. It was originally supposed to advertise Tsuyoshi Kikuchi’s business but The Great Kojika unexpectedly appeared to promote a Big Japan show being held in Sendai on 9th June. The two teams battled over what should be advertised. Antonio Honda & Hiroshi Fukuda promoted Kikuchi’s business whenever they applied a submission hold while Sanshiro Takagi & Gorgeous Matsuno hyped the Big Japan show when they were in control of the match. When the match was over Kikuchi was upset because he wasn’t finished handing out flyers to everyone in the audience.

Masa Takanashi and Tomomitsu Matsunaga were both fined for arriving at the company bus late before it took off to Miyagi. They both overslept.

For the past month Danshoku Dino has been on a pilgrimage to rediscover Danshoku Life. His journey has been relatively peaceful and without danger. But when Dino found out he will be facing Jinsei Shinzaki next his calm demeanour began to fade and he was left shaking in fear. This will be the first big test of his pilgrimage.

Sapporo Teisen Hall will be closing down in June. The venue has been a popular destination for indie wrestling with DDT and Big Japan among others hosting shows whenever they were in Sapporo. Apparently Big Japan will hold the final wrestling show in the building but before that DDT will say goodbye with a double show in May.

1. Lucha Libre Rules: KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masa Takanashi defeated Toru Owashi, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi & Michael Nakazawa when KUDO pinned Nakazawa with the Diving Double Knee Drop (10:51).
2. 3 Way Match: Daisuke Sasaki defeated Keisuke Ishii and Antonio Honda when Sasaki pinned Honda with the Sasaki Hurricanrana (11:36).
3. Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo defeated Makoto Oishi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when Endo pinned Matsunaga with the Sky Twister Press (11:59).
4. Kota Ibushi defeated Gorgeous Matsuno with the Easy Last Ride (9:16).
5. DDT Extreme Title – Catch Wrestling Rules: Akito (c) defeated MIKAMI with an Ankle Package Hold (5R 1:43).
*V3 for Akito.
6. Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao defeated HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano when Irie pinned Urano with the Beast Bomber (18:29).

In their last skirmish before their KO-D Openweight Title match next week, Soma Takao was on the winning side instead of HARASHIMA. Takao held the champion down while Shigehiro Irie landed the match winning Beast Bomber on Yasu Urano. Soma said he will make sure he will be the person to beat HARASHIMA for the title.

Akito holds an even tighter grip on the DDT Extreme Title after beating MIKAMI in a Catch Wrestling Match. Both went hold for hold over five rounds and despite MIKAMI dominating early, Akito’s focus on attcking the ankle paid off. The audience’s response to the match was positive and Akito said it was an amazing experience. DDT needs variety and Akito said he his offering it with his technical matches.

Kota Ibushi took it easy on Gorgeous Matsuno, beating him with a gentle, kneeling Last Ride Power Bomb.

Tetsuya Endo left a big message for Makoto Oishi after he pinned him with the Sky Twister Press. Endo told Oishi that the KO-D Tag Team Titles have passed him by.

Sanshiro Takagi pulled out of the show after he fractured his right heel at the “WRESTLING CANNONBALL IN OFUNATO” show earlier in the week. Tsuyoshi Kikuchi came in as Takagi’s replacement. Takagi introduced him as a “Lucha Teacher” so the match took place under Lucha Libre Rules.
