5. New Year Lottery 5 Way Match: Ken Ohka defeated Minoru Fujita, Hi69, Yukihiro Abe and Osamu Namiguchi when Ohka pinned Abe with the Spear Of Flame (10:30).

Against all odds Ken Ohka managed to spoil Tomodachi-gun’s party and win the 5 Way main event. The plan was for all of Tomodachi-gun to gang up on Ohka and beat him down 4 on 1. However Osamu Namiguchi had other ideas and tried to pin his own stablemates because the match was still all against each other. Minoru Fujita tried to keep things under control but his plan fell apart when Namiguchi helped Ohka fight the rest of Tomodachi-gun. They both hit a Spear on Fujita and Hi69 then Ohka Speared Yukihiro Abe for the three count. Namiguchi and Fujita brawled after the match and Fujita kicked Namiguchi out of Tomodachi-gun. Ohka grabbed a mic and said he wants to bring Abe back to Ganbare☆Wrestling. He also offered to team with Namiguchi again but Namiguchi declined and left ringside.

Both Bambi and Yumehito Imanari were given a specific weapon for their Hardcore match. Bambi had her whip and Imanari was given a bag of candy. He tried to hit Bambi with the bag but was whipped over and over instead. Bambi force fed him the candy after she won the match.

Madoka’s mystery partner turned out to be PSYCHO! They easily defeated Shinichiro Tominaga & Tigger Bedscene and PSYCHO was welcomed into Tomodachi-gun with open arms. PSYCHO was given a Tomodachi-gun T-shirt but he threw it down and walked away. Madoka then tried to act like PSYCHO wasn’t his friend and left the ring embarrassed.

During Match #2 Dr. Kirico unmasked himself to reveal it was Shuichiro Katsumura! With an assist from Shibaten he was able to submit J-Soul Pandita III IV. Katsumura apologised for sneaking onto the show in disguise and he then pulled out a piece of paper that had 宣戦布告 (Declaration of war) written on it. Until now he watched the feud between Ganpuro and Tomodachi-gun in silence. He now has his sights set on Fujita!

Tomodachi-gun claimed that the results of last month’s Ganbare☆Wrestling Grand Prix Awards were all mistakes. Here are the correct award results according to Tomodachi-gun.

2. Ai Shimizu, MIZUHO & Marika Kobashi defeated KANNA, Azusa Takigawa & Nodoka Onesan when Shimizu pinned Takigawa with the Fishergirl Bomb (9:54).
3. 2 Vs 1 Handicap Match: Poison Miura (w/ Poison Sawada JULIE) defeated Saki Akamiya & Hyper Misao when Miura submitted Misao with the Cattle Mutilation (9:29).
4. Miyu Yamashita & Shoko Nakajima defeated Nonoko & Rika Tatsumi when Yamashita pinned Tatsumi with the Attitude Adjustment (11:08).

Poison Sawada JULIE claimed that his student Poison Miura has become so strong after training that she did not need a tag partner to wrestle Saki Akamiya & Hyper Misao. The match became a Handicap match instead. Akamiya used a hand mirror to deflect JULIE’s magic back at him. Suddenly KANNA appeared wearing snake magic make up and she Speared Akamiya, allowing Miura to clamp the Cattle Mutilation on Misao and make her submit. JULIE introduced the audience to Poison KANNA! She entered the Snake World wanting to become stronger after she lost her match at the 4th January Korakuen Hall show. JULIE said he will continue to remodel Tokyo Joshi into Snake World Joshi! All of a sudden Akamiya summoned Mitsuya Nagai to the ring! Few of the girls recognised him. Nagai promised to train Akamiya so she can beat JULIE’s growing snake army.

Ai Shimizu said she will leave Tokyo Joshi Pro on 2nd April, shortly after her 35th birthday. However she is not retiring from wrestling. She promises to fight with all of her strength for her remaining matches.

The Japanese wrestling scene is kind of falling apart at the moment but hey, at least Pro Wrestling BASARA signed a new wrestler. Ryuichi Sekine is jumping from K-DOJO to BASARA citing an opportunity to try new things in new places. TAKA Michinoku and Isami Kodaka confirmed the transfer at a press conference held today in Shinjuku and the change will be official on 21st January, the date of BASARA’s debut show. Sekine will honour his existing bookings with K-DOJO including a match against Tatsumi Fujinami set to take place in March. TAKA noted Sekine’s recent growth by wrestling in Big Japan and DDT’s spin off Tavern Wrestling. He also compared it to when he himself left Michinoku Pro. He is confident of Sekine’s new home promotion because Kodaka is also a K-DOJO graduate.

Before Wrestle Kingdom 10 takes place in Tokyo Dome, there is another wrestling show happening nearby. Tokyo Joshi is in Korakuen Hall for the first time and the main event crowns its first ever champion. Will it be Miyu Yamashita who was there from the beginning of the promotion’s reboot or will Shoko Nakajima add a title to go along with her Tokyo Princess Cup trophy?

The semi-main is filled with mystery. While Saki Akamiya has been unmasked she still denies being Saki Akai. Instead she is convinced she is an evil villain here to destroy. Meanwhile Akane Miura has been adopted as Poison Sawada JULIE’s protege. Is his Snake Magic all that she needs to become more powerful?

2. Shoko Nakajima, KANNA & Erin defeated Ai Shimizu, Nonoko & Rika Tatsumi when KANNA pinned Tatsumi with the Spear Of Versailles (10:44).
3. Saki Akamiya defeated Hyper Misao with a Big Boot (0:05).
3a. Rematch: Saki Akamiya defeated Hyper Misao with the Two Stage Face Kick (3:58).
4. Right To 1/4 Tokyo Joshi Title Appearance: Miyu Yamashita defeated Akane Miura with the Crash Rabbit Heat (7:14).

The 1/4 Title Shot changed hands for the second match in a row. Miyu Yamashita has struggled in the past to beat Akane Miura but this time she was able to do it. She said she will never give up and she wants to win the championship at Korakuen Hall.

This show featured the debut match of the mysterious iron masked Saki Akamiya. She appeared holding a yoyo that seems to be of some importance. Hyper Misao was furious to see Akamiya and charged her at the opening bell. Akamiya kicked her with a Big Boot and won the match in 3 seconds. An immediate rematch took place and Akamiya won again in an overwhelming fashion. Misao asked Akamiya who she was. Akamiya said she is here to expose the weaknesses of the people. Her words had some sort of weird effect on Misao because she suddenly begged to join Akamiya’s side! Akamiya left the ring and Misao chased after her.

At the beginning of the show KENSO suddenly appeared at ringside looking for Sanshiro Takagi. The two had wrestled in a feud years ago and KENSO wants to do it again so he came to the show to find Takagi. He was told he was at the wrong show but Takagi would be at DDT in Korakuen Hall on Sunday. KENSO said he will go there and then left.

5. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Enjo-gun General Warfare: Ken Ohka defeated Shibata with the Spear Of Flame (9:30).

Ken Ohka can now put his feud with Enjo-gun behind him after he defeated the group’s leader Shibata. He was outnumbered when Tomoya Kawamura interfered. Ohka got rid of him but then Mitomi Masayuki came in, re-establishing his connections with the group after originally having a falling out with them. A bloody Ohka got rid of him too and hit the Spear Of Flame on Shibata to win. After the match Ohka said he wants Enjo-gun to stay in Ganbare☆Wrestling because they have the same drive as him to make wrestling a major sport. Shibata said Enjo-gun will set Ganpuro ablaze and their feud isn’t over. Enjo-gun left but then a new problem arrived…

Minoru Fujita confronted Ohka and told him he’s tired of all his third rate drama. He’s frustrated by how Ohka wrestles his matches and how much he struggles. He doesn’t want to team with Ohka at Shinjuku FACE next month, instead he brought along his own friends. Fujita brought out Hi69, who he knows from K-DOJO. He then brought out Osamu Namiguchi! Fujita knows him from their time together in Zero1. Ohka got some backup when GENTARO walked out and stood by his side. Then Shota came out, appearing in Ganpuro for the first time since March! Shota remembered Ohka telling him to come back to Ganpuro whenever he was ready and now is the time. Shota is back to help his buddy Ohka. A challenge was made for a 6-Man Tag Team match on 23rd September but that was suddenly interrupted when Bambi came out! Bambi wore a Fujita shirt but she took it off, threw it at Fujita and shook hands with Ohka. Now the challenge was for a 4-on-3 Tag match. A brawl broke out and the Ganpuro side came out on top to end the show.

Despite losing his match tonight, Chikara promised he will wrestle at 120% when he & Yumehito Imanari fight Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie on 23rd September.

Hayato Mashita’s High Kicks are dangerous! He knocked out GENTARO with one but also accidentally it his partner Yukihiro Abe with another to cost them the match. Abe was pinned by Shinichiro Tominaga but isn’t convinced he can do it again so he challenged Tominaga to a singles match. When GENTARO came to Tominaga jokingly told him good morning and also to watch out for Mashita’s High Kick.

Osamu Namiguchi said he noticed a change in Tigger Bedscene as they wrestled each other. There was a tense moment when Bedscene responded but they both started laughing and the tension disappeared.
