5. Keihan Wrestling Dispute 2017: Naoki Tanizaki defeated Ryota Nakatsu with the Implant (12:35).
6. Trans-Am ★ Family Vs IRON PRIEST: FUMA, HUB & Yusuke Kubo defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Trans-Am ★ Shinya & Trans-Am ★ Abe when Kubo pinned Abe with the Death Metal Roll (14:58).

Yusuke Kubo continues to lead IRON PRIEST to victory over the Trans-Am ★ Family. This time his Death Metal Roll put Trans-Am ★ Abe down for the count. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi was furious with Abe over the result and fired him from the team after the match. This is the second time Abe has been fired from the Family. FUMA told everyone that “KUBO-METAL” will be the next person to challenge Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi for the Union MAX Title. When BASARA returns to Osaka, “KUBO-METAL” will be the champion! Keep on rockin’!

Naoki Tanizaki continued to attack Ryota Nakatsu after their match until Isami Kodaka & Ryuichi Sekine came to the rescue. Gunso & Kabuki Kid then ran in to back up Tanizaki. Kodaka said that BASARA lost their matches to Dove Pro today but BASARA will get their chance at revenge next month. Today was a declaration of war! Kodaka pointed out he is affiliated with Dragon Gate but he sides with Dove Pro in this feud.

Chairs and a ladder were used a lot in the match between Tsukasaga-gun and Dove Pro. The end came when Gunso slammed Takumi Tsukamoto onto the ladder. Kabuki Kid then placed a chair on SAGAT and Gunso hit the Guillotine Drop to win the match. There will be more BASARA Vs Dove Pro matches down the line and Tsukamoto is looking forward to them. He is a death match wrestler more than a hardcore wrestler. He’s been in more dangerous matches than what Dove Pro are used to. Kabuki Kid describes himself & Gunso as Hardcore Craftsmen. They’re not scared of Tsukamoto & SAGAT.

Kuishinbo Kamen placed Gouma Ryu upside down against the turnbuckles in the Tree Of Woe position. Kamen then got knocked down and Ryu fell on top of him for the three count. Calling it a Moonsault is being very generous.

3. Isami Kodaka (6)

5. SAGAT (4)

Well this is a predicament. The two front runners for Block B both lost their matches today and finished tied in 1st place. FUMA lost to Isami Kodaka when Kodaka brought out his new secret move, the Tori Kabuto to win. Then Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi blew his chance to win the block when he submitted to Ryota Nakatsu. FUMA and Hiroshi will face off in a tiebreaker match on 5th July, the same night as the final.

Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi cleared the last hurdle Block A to win the group and head into the final undefeated. Ryuichi Sekine was also unbeaten up until this point but couldn’t kick out to the Perfect Five. Hiroshi congratulated him afterwards and apologised for losing to “Young Boy Nakatsu”. Ryuichi said he will be waiting for either Hiroshi or FUMA in the final.

Gouma Ryu tried to distract SAGAT with a quiz while they wrestled but SAGAT didn’t care enough to be effected. SAGAT chased Ryu out of the ring until he somehow got himself wedged between the ring post and the pillar next to it. Takumi Tsukamoto and a few fans grabbed SAGAT and pulled him free. However, Ryu was still holding on to SAGAT from the other side and was wedged into the gap himself! SAGAT left him stuck there so he could win by countout.

The race to the top in both groups are now getting tight with one more set of matches left to go. Isami Kodaka was knocked out of the running with a shock defeat to SAGAT. The match between Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and FUMA was so intense that neither could answer the 10 count and the match was ruled a draw. The two are still tied in first so it will all come down to their separate final matches.

Over In Block A, Ryuichi Sekine scored his fourth straight win in a row. He and Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi will fight each other to win their group on the final day. Yusuke Kubo beat Takumi Tsukamoto in their last bout of the tournament. Neither will make it to the final but at least Kubo can be satisfied by finishing ahead of Tsukamoto.

Yasu Urano appeared after the main event. He said when he became a freelancer he was able to reset his mind and think about where he wanted to wrestle outside of DDT. He also thought about going to other places to visit old friends. He pointed out SAGAT and Tsukamoto as friends he was surprised to see again. Oh, and Hiroshi too. Kodaka asked Urano if he would like to fight with his friends again. Urano said he would and he asked if he could wrestle in BASARA. Kodaka agreed and invited him to compete at the Shinjuku show on 5th July. Urano then said in his 17 years of wrestling there are certain matches he was never a part of. So for his first BASARA match he wants a Hardcore Tag Match! Kodaka agreed to be one of his opponents. Both will go find wrestlers to team with in the meantime.

5. SAGAT (0)

SAGAT is no closer to getting his first win in this year’s Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~. He fell to Ryota Nakatsu in the main event. Technical wrestling defeated brute force in this contest. Nakatsu joked that his baseball practice at the Tokyo Dome earlier in the day helped him win the match. He now looks ahead to his final group match against Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi.

Cavalry’s success continued with Ryuichi Sekine beating Yusuke Kubo in the semi-main event. Sekine is currently undefeated with two matches left on his schedule.

While MC.33 and Trans-Am ★ Shinya were wrestling, Shinya asked what does the MC stand for? MC.33 said MCs are people who are familiar with music. Suddenly MC.33 transformed the wrestling match into an entrance music quiz. The Trans-Am ★ Family got the questions right and used the moves of Stone Cold and The Rock after correctly guessing their songs. Angry at losing, MC.33 brought out a samurai sword and sliced through the Trans-Am ★ Family. However they got back up as soon as they realised it was a fake sword. They knocked MC.33 out of the ring with a Big Boot and Shinya then pinned Fuminori Abe with the Δ Drive.

Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi is almost on the home clear with one match left for him to fight for in Block A. He added a submission move to his repertoire, the Trans-Am ★ Shooter. The rookie Takato Nakano had nowhere to go when he was locked in the move. The only opponent left for him is Ryuichi Sekine. And wouldn’t you know it, Sekine is the only one who can realistically catch up with him at this point.

FUMA came to the show to wrestle but Gouma Ryu wanted to talk about music instead. Ryu said he’s been listening to Dreams Come True and B’z because they make music that anyone can listen to. He wanted to know why FUMA likes heavy metal. FUMA said it is because of people like Ryu and he then attacked him to start the match. Ryu fought back by summoning the power of Tetsuya Komuro and other J-Pop artists. When the match reached its end, FUMA admitted that the music of B’z is close to metal so they’re ok. He then pinned Ryu with the Heavy Metal Anthem.

Best Stretchman V3 thought Takumi Tsukamoto was a monster fisherman because he uses the Fisherman Suplex. Tsukamoto proved him wrong by using the Dodon to beat him. Although he is out of the tournament, Tsukamoto wants to finish his run by beating Yusuke Kubo so he can finish with 6 points.

Isami Kodaka will hold an event celebrating his 15th Anniversary in wrestling at Korakuen Hall on 1st October. The show will feature wrestlers associated with Isami from all over the wrestling industry, not just BASARA.

2. Isami Kodaka (4)
-. FUMA (4)
4. Ryota Nakatsu (2)

The Trans-Am ★ Family continue to smash through the competition and lead both blocks undefeated. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated his friend SAGAT in the main event. Hiroshi admitted afterwards that he has never praised SAGAT until now. He was impressed with how SAGAT fought his best because the audience put their support behind him.

The odds on Gouma Ryu beating Isami Kodaka were improved when rumours spread across the locker room that Kodaka was wrestling with a neck injury. Ryu’s attacked Kodaka from behind but rather than fight back, Kodaka instead brought in two chairs and asked Ryu to sit down and have a chat. When that was finished they began to wrestle again. Kodaka overcame his injuries to win the match. He shook Ryu’s hand afterwards and thanked him for a good match.

Takumi Tsukamoto finally registered some points after a poor start, beating Takato Nakano in the opener. Despite playing catch up he does not want to rush himself in the ring. Being impatient will not help him find the breakthrough strategy that will get him back in the points race.

8. Union MAX Title – BASARA Three Major Special Single Match: Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi (c) defeated Ryota Nakatsu with the Perfect Five (16:11).
*V1 for Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi.

The 2nd half of today’s Korakuen Hall doubleshot was held by BASARA for their second ever visit to the building. The Trans-Am ★ Family were dominant with wins in both of their big matches. Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi successfully defended the Union MAX Title against Ryota Nakatsu in the main event. Ryuichi yelled “C’mon Young Boy!” at Nakatsu as they wrestled but Nakatsu reversed the roles when he hulked up against the champion’s offence late in the match. Sadly for Nakatsu he was knocked loopy with the Luxurious Lariat and Ryuichi put him away with the Perfect Five. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi congratulated Ryuichi after the match and they both spoke in English about the upcoming Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament.

A table, ladder and a pile of chairs were placed in the ring and dub music played over the sound system for the Hardcore Tag Match. After several failed attempts SAGAT finally earned a win over Gunso although he had to pin Shoichi Uchida to do it. Takumi Tsukamoto hit Uchida with the O’Cannon Bomb after Uchida missed a Splash from the top of the ladder. Tsukamoto then held Gunso back while SAGAT pinned Uchida with the Gore Grind.

Gunso wasn’t shaken by his team’s loss. He describes hardcore wrestling like it was a sushi shop and Dove Pro Wrestling’s “sushi” is the best! He wants more BASARA Vs Dove Pro Wrestling matches but wants to hear what BASARA’s “sushi store manager” Isami Kodaka has to say. Kodaka played along with Gunso’s metaphors and called BASARA a family restaurant. Gunso challenged Kodaka to send BASARA wrestlers over to Dove Pro. Kodaka couldn’t agree to it but made a deal with Gunso. BASARA will be holding two shows at Shin-Kiba 1st RING in August, one on the 23rd and one on the 24th. They are offering to book Dove Pro wrestlers to take part in the shows. Gunso accepted and said he will bring the entire roster. Kodaka told him he can’t do that. Gunso must choose who to bring because BASARA can’t afford to pay the travelling expenses for an entire outside roster. Kodaka then warned that he is preparing his best dish for the Dove Pro wrestlers the show. He is preparing SAGAT!

Kodaka went into his match with Yuji Okabayashi knowing that it would be almost impossible to beat him. That turned out to be right but hey at least he tried. Kodaka had a few tricks up his sleeve like trying to goad Okabayashi into throwing Chops that were easy to dodge. He also targeted his leg and was able to Suplex him onto the floor while they were outside the ring. Tatsuhiko Yoshino even begged for Okabayashi to get counted out so it wouldn’t ruin Kodaka’s special day in Korakuen. Okabayashi did not oblige and when he got his hands on Kodaka he didn’t waste his opportunities. Kodaka had some chances here and there like moving away from the Golem Splash and getting a two count with La Magistral Cradle. But Okabayashi caught him with a Power Bomb and lifted him back up into the Argentine Backbreaker for the submission victory. Okabayashi said that power is everything. It doesn’t matter what skill and tricks Kodaka has, Okabayashi will always bounce back with power!

Dick Togo out-wrestled Yusuke Kubo in a match between teacher and student. Togo was one step ahead most of the time and countered Kubo’s Goro Suplex into the Pedigree. Kubo blocked the move but Togo manoeuvred him into a Gedo Clutch for the match winning pinfall. Kubo bowed to Togo after the match. In a backstage interview, Kubo said he was 17 years old when he first met Togo. He is 30 now. He went into this match thinking it was the beginning of the end for him but Togo proved that there is a lot left for him to do.

A true patriotic battle took place as the Trans-Am ★ Family fought Masamune, Ryuichi Sekine & Fuminori Abe. A team could only win when one of their wrestlers used their country’s flag to pin an opponent for the three count. Trans-Am ★ Tanaka was seen for the first time yet wasn’t told about the rules so he went straight for the Minoru Special on Abe. The fans rallied more behind the Trans-Am ★ Family and gave “USA!” chants although they were followed by some “Nippon!” chants afterwards. The family got rid of Masamune & Abe so were able to focus their efforts on Sekine. He couldn’t withstand the numbers game and Hiroshi gave him with a Leg Drop with the Stars And Stripes on top of him to win the match.

The Gingin Boys made quite an entrance, hugging fans of all gender and getting them to place money in their tights and mouths. They scored a big win over IRON PRIEST by isolating FUMA from Hagane. At first FUMA had things in control and hit his big moves on YO-HEY. But a successful dodge led FUMA into a High Kick from Kenshin Chikano. YO-HEY then upped the pressure on FUMA until he pinned him with the Bamboo Dragon Fly, a multiple spinning splash from the top rope.

Court was in session as Best Stretchman V3 was put on trial by Tatsuhiko Yoshino. The two had to be held apart by Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama when they were all in the ring. Stretchman was accused of defamation when he called Yoshino a monster at the last BASARA show in Shin-Kiba. Ryu defended Stretchman by claiming his words were never meant to be taken under offence. He explained that Yoshino was an orthodox wrestler in Guts World but developed into a monster when he moved up to Big Japan. Yoshino disagreed and felt it was still meant to be an insult. Things took a turn when Maruyama pointed out that Ryu’s mother was in the audience. Ryu then took out one of his handwritten notes and read it to everyone. He said that he studied hard to become a lawyer so it would please his mother. But the work he did was so hard that he became a pro wrestler to bring him some relief. He hid this from his mother for so long that it became unbearable and he finally wanted her to learn the truth! Everyone was touched by this except for Yoshino. He attacked Ryu and told Maruyama to join in. Stretchman came to the rescue and fought them off. Ryu shook his hand as thanks but Stretchman then gave him the Best Stretch Bomb for the three count. Stretchman was declared Not Guilty by the judge.

Kodaka welcomed BASARA’s newest wrestler Takato Nakano by being his opponent for his debut match. Nakano wore a purple “Buddha-style” costume and was put through his paces by the veteran Kodaka. He was able to catch Kodaka with a Christo and a Wheelbarrow Facecrusher but otherwise it was all Kodaka in this match. Nakano tapped out to the Half Crab, as is tradition for debut matches in Japan. Kodaka encouraged Nakano to get back to his feet on his own after the match.

5. Hardcore Match: Gunso defeated SAGAT with a Chair Attack (13:14).
6. Union MAX Title: FUMA (c) defeated Ryuichi Sekine with the Jawbreaker (17:56).
*V1 for FUMA.

FUMA was victorious in the main event but Ryuichi Sekine isn’t going to take it easily. Sekine yelled at FUMA after the match and swore that he will eventually win the Union MAX Title from him. The other members of Cavalry had to restrain Sekine and help him walk away from the ring. FUMA joked that his own hair was the same length as Phil Anselmo’s from his heyday in Pantera. He then proclaimed himself the “KING OF METAL WRESTLING”.

Gunso is quickly making a name for himself in BASARA. He defeated SAGAT in a Hardcore Match, even surviving a pre-match ambush from his opponent. His fighting style is called “Dub Wrestling” and music played as the two wrestlers battered each other with chairs. SAGAT was eventually worn down until Gunso finally threw a chair right at his face to keep him down long enough for the three count. Even then the two traded Heabutts with each other after the match.

Even though Koji Iwamoto is still a part of Cavalry, he entered the ring wearing an All Japan T-shirt. Today was his first appearance in BASARA since becoming affiliated with AJPW. Isami Kodaka, Takumi Tsukamoto & Tatsuhiko Yoshino were described as looking like Japanese tourists in Paris. They wore sunglasses, backbacks and had selfie sticks. Kodaka had enough with the silliness and broke his stick but Yoshino then yelled he needed that for work! Kodaka proceeded to take his smartphone and use it as a weapon while Yoshino panicked over it getting damaged. Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto found Yoshino so annoying they turned on him. Even the referee Yuya Okada got a dig in when Yoshino wasn’t looking. They all joined in with Cavalry for a Train Attack on Yoshino then counted along to Iwamoto pinning him.

Yusuke Kubo had a special opponent today, it was Minoru Tanaka! The two had a back and forth match that Tanaka won with a Diving Double Stomp he calls the B”D”F.

Today’s wrestling trial was a fraud case that was fresh off the oven. Hagane came to Shin-Kiba 1st RING to be in the Fighting Musical MAKAI show. When that was over he decided to stay in the building for the BASARA show. By doing so he avoided paying the entry fee and was accused of fraud. Hagane said he normally introduces himself as Madoka and wrestles in BASARA anyway. Atsushi Maruyama admitted that Hagane is a nice name. Further questioning turned into advertising for MAKAI’s next show in Shinjuku FACE on 2nd March. The trial broke down and turned into a match where Hagane pinned both Matsuyama and Gouma Ryu with La Bufadora (Springboard Moonsault). Hagane was then declared innocent.

Shinya Ishida’s luggage was stolen before the show so he arrived at the building without his wrestling gear. Luckily for him Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi gave him spare American style wrestling tights that would temporarily transform Shinya Ishida into Trans-Am ★ Ishida. The new look was a confidence boost and the Double Trans-Ams won their match against Daichi Kazato & Tsutomu Oosugi.

*The Aldini Brothers fail in V3. Cavalry becomes the 22nd NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champions!

Cavalry strikes gold! They defeated The Aldini Brothers to win the NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Titles. Victory came when Ryuichi Sekine put Takumi Tsukamoto into the Let’s Combine. Isami Kodaka tried to cut him off but Ryota Nakatsu got rid of him by using the V Slider. Sekine applied more pressure to Tsukamoto until he gave up. Nakatsu complimented Sekine on his submission hold then admitted he cried when the bell rang and Sekine’s music started playing. Sekine brought up Kodaka’s speech from Friday about having to beat him more than once to become BASARA’s ace. Sekine invited Kodaka to try and win the belts back but warned him that he and Nakatsu will destroy him on their way to the top of BASARA!

It seemed like IRON PRIEST were making a new friend out of HUB. He joined in with their heavy metal posing after the match until he suddenly whipped FUMA with the long tail from his mask. HUB then admitted he can’t get along with those kind of people.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi warned his Osaka opponents about his and SAGAT’s devastating double team move, the Space SAGAT Torpedo 2. Although really he was trying to promote the T-shirts of the move that were on sale over by the merch stand. He then launched a surprise attack of the move with SAGAT but Tsubasa & Billy Ken Kid easily avoided it. SAGAT went for the Goregrind on on Kid but was stopped with a High Kick and pinned with La Espida. Both Tsubasa & Kid were confused over what there opponents were meant to be. They were expecting foreigners. I guess Hiroshi counts as one.

Merry Christmas again! Two big shows in one day. When DDT “NEVER MIND 2016” was completed, BASARA took over Korakuen Hall in the evening for their final show of 2016. The main event saw the return of the Union MAX Title, formerly belonging to Union Pro now revived for BASARA. The title was declared vacant so the last champion Isami Kodaka was fighting to win it all over again rather than defending it. His opponent Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi has had a strong year, proclaiming himself as the brand’s ace ever since winning the Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament, beating Kodaka in the final. This match would determine who really was BASARA’s top star. Kodaka kicked out of the Perfect Plex and countered another one with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster. Hiroshi refused to stay down until Kodaka hit the Isamuashi Kick to the back of the head, putting Hiroshi down for the count.

Both wrestlers were down and out after the match. While still laying against the bottom rope, Kodaka called for Hiroshi on the microphone and asked what can he see? Hiroshi said he can see the ceiling. Kodaka corrected him and said he can see the whole venue. Hiroshi meant that too, just his vision is just bad after getting kicked in the back of the head. Kodaka talked about knowing various wrestlers who have retired and organisations that have gone away during his 15 years in wrestling. If there is one thing he has learned, it is you cannot lose to yourself. Kodaka has been fighting for BASARA in its first year of existence and now he is fighting for the Union MAX Title. He doesn’t want to stop and hopes that Korakuen will give him a few more dates. Then on the screen a message appeared announcing BASARA’s next Korakuen show on 29th April, 2017. Then another message came announcing a show on 1st October too. Kodaka said he will never run away, escape or give up on BASARA. And he will never give up on wrestling!

After a slight worry that he wouldn’t show up, Koji Kanemoto arrived with Cavalry to go after the Yokohama Shopping Street 6-Man Tag Team Titles. Kanemoto was nicknamed the General of the Cavalry Division by his teammates and was trusted to lead the way to victory. The champions arrived looking more like they wanted to get into the Christmas spirit. Abdullah Kobayashi & Masaya Takahashi wore reindeer head covers while Takayuki Ueki wore a Santa hat and shirt. In the build-up Kobayashi had been using Ryuichi Sekine’s Let’s Combine Crab Hold to win matches. He wasn’t able to do the hold here but he still pinned Sekine to win the match and keep the titles.

SAGAT was in for the fight of his life when he had to take on Jun Akiyama. He was overwhelmed at the start, Akiyama whipped him into the corner post outside the ring then Body Slammed him onto the floor mat. Akiyama then laid SAGAT on the ring apron and struck him with a Knee Drop to the back of the head. More Knee Strikes and a Piledriver almost put SAGAT away but he kicked out at two. SAGAT fired back with some Elbow Strikes followed by a Senton. Akiyama stopped him with the Front Neck Lock. He tried to set up the Exploder Suplex but SAGAT bit his arm to escape. He then bit his neck to force him back and create some distance. SAGAT went for the Goregrind but Akiyama countered with a Knee Strike. SAGAT still showed some life until he was hit with the Exploder Suplex and that was it. Akiyama said that never in his 25 years of wrestling did somebody break out of his Exploder Suplex by biting him. SAGAT described Akiyama as a true elite and SAGAT just experienced the real Royal Road.

Heavy metal reputations were on the line when IRON PRIEST went up against The Suicide Monkeys. To show how seriously he took it, Yusuke Kubo wrestled in a brand new skull mask he dubbed Heavy Metal Respect. They taunted Jun Kasai when they could, causing Kasai to flip them off and swear back at them. MIKAMI hit a big dive out of the ring, taking him and Kubo out of the match. FUMA took Tanomusaku Toba’s Straight Right Punch and hit him with a High Kick at the same time. Toba took the worst of the exchange, allowing FUMA to bring back his old Jaw Breaker kick finisher to win the match. They earned Kasai’s respect and he posed with them after the bout.

Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi entered the ring to the American National Anthem for his match with Takumi Tsukamoto. The two shook hands but when Tsukamoto asked Ryuichi to take off his sunglasses, Tsukamoto attacked him to start the match. Ryuichi was powered up by the USA chants from the fans and used that energy to win. Tsukamoto graciously accepted defeat and shook Ryuichi’s hand again.

shippujinrai-trial

Court was in session for a scandalous trial for Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama to fight over. The mystery defendant was accused of being engaged with the operations of a pro wrestling organisation while also being a gang member. Tatsuhiko Yoshino was called up as a witness, proclaiming his “brother” was not a gang member. The mystery defendant was then called to the stand. It was Zero1 wrestler Kohei Sato! Maruyama shouted it was obvious by Sato’s appearance that he is part of a gang. He even has a sword with him! Sato explained the sword was his prize for winning this year’s Fire Festival and he has to carry it with him everywhere. More witnesses were called over: Hercules Senga, Tsutomu Oosugi, Ryuichi Sekine and Yuya Okada. They all agreed that Sato is part of a gang. Sato was so angry by this accusation that he attacked everyone and knocked them out. Judge Kyohei Wada declared that Sato was innocent and it was in fact Ryu and Maruyama who are guilty.

For some reason referee Yuya Okada received a lot of chants from the fans in the opening match.

shippujinrai-kawamura

Tomoya Kawamura greeted the fans during the opening introductions. He apologised for not being on the card because of shoulder problems. He talked about previously going through surgery for the injury and how it is not easy for him to go under the knife again. He is not quitting wrestling but he is unable to compete for the time being. He hopes to return someday and when he does it will be for BASARA.

*New Buddy Tag fail in V4. The Aldini Brothers become the 21st NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champions!

The team of Isami Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto, together now known as The Aldini Brothers, have brought in new gold for BASARA! They challenged Ikuto Hidaka & Hayato Jr. Fujita to come over to BASARA and put their NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Titles on the line. The champions accepted but will now going back to ZERO1 without the titles. They graciously gave the belts over to the winners and as they left, Kodaka said how much it meant to him to wrestle them for the championship. He then asked if Hidaka will enter the annual Furinkazan tournament in ZERO1. Hidaka said he would tell him tomorrow and he will wrestle again in BASARA. Tsukamoto was thrilled with his new title. It is the first championship he won since four years ago when he was a Yokohama Shopping Street Six Man Tag Team Champion. He searched the internet before the match to learn about this NWA Tag Title and thought it looked cool when he saw pictures of it.

SAGAT was put into a challenge against some All Japan wrestlers to prepare him for Jun Akiyama. However when he was overwhelmed Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi would come in to physically defend him. The All Japan team kept hitting SAGAT with Axe Bombers until SAGAT would block them with an Axe Bomber of his own. Hiroshi would but in and make an unwilling SAGAT attempt double team moves like the Space SAGAT Torpedo 2 (Hiroshi throws SAGAT at their opponent) and the Space SAGAT Cannon (Hiroshi Dropkicks SAGAT into their opponent) but they both failed. The latter miss cost SAGAT the match when Yuma Aoyagi pinned him with a Fisherman Suplex afterwards. Hiroshi told SAGAT to look closely at himself before he faces Akiyama. Ryuichi then Chopped him.

In a preview of the Yokohama 6-Man Tag Title match, Abdullah Kobayashi made Ryota Nakatsu submit to a Crab Hold. It was supposed to be the Let’s Combine as used by Nakatsu’s teammate Ryuichi Sekine but Kobayashi’s a bit sloppy at applying the move. Sekine wasn’t impressed and said Cavalry will be taking those belts from Kobayashi’s team on Christmas Day.

Tanomusaku Toba was put on a trial by combat by Gouma Ryu against Atsushi Maruyama with Kyohei Wada as the judge. Toba was accused of leaving a Chinese beauty shop in Osaka without paying for the service. The “trial” was set up as a 3 Way match but Ryu admitted it was more of a 2 Vs 1 contest between him and Toba against Maruyama. Ryu defended Toba by claiming he is poor and couldn’t afford to pay for the items. Maruyama played prosecutor and called referee Yuya Okada up as a witness. Okada said he borrowed money to Toba that day so he should have been able to pay. Ryu called up Ryuichi Sekine and asked him what he knew about the shop. Sekine said the shop gives massages then was embarrassed by what he just admitted. Ryu told Toba that he couldn’t defend him anymore. Toba got angry and knocked out Ryu with a Straight Right punch. He mounted Ryu and began punching him. However Wada treated this as a pin and counted to three. This somehow meant Toba was declared guilty. Ryu asked Maruyama if they could do the best pro wrestling trial in history at Korakeun Hall? Maruyama agreed and so did Wada.
