1. Reiwa’s Summer Battle!: Chikara defeated Nobuhiro Shimatani with the Saber Chop (10:12).
2. 3 Way Match: El Lindaman defeated Antonio Honda and Intelligence Sensational Grand Passion Mask #4 when Lindaman pinned Honda with the German Suplex (14:10).
3. Soma Takao & T-Hawk defeated Mineo Fujita & Leo Isaka when Takaon pinned Isaka after an Accidental Dropkick from Fujita (11:58).
4. Shuji Ishikawa & Mad Paulie defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Naya when Paulie pinned Naya with the Reverse Splash (12:54).
5. Tetsuya Endo Debut 8th Anniversary Match: Tetsuya Endo defeated Ryuichi Sekine with the Shooting Star Press (15:04).
6. Special Single Match: Daisuke Sasaki defeated Tsutomu Oosugi with La Mistica Cross Facelock (20:40).

The main event lost control when Tsutomu Oosugi accidentally knocked down Yukinori Matsui. After that happened, Daisuke Sasaki pulled Oosugi into the Cross Facelock and made him tap out with no referee there to see it. Matsui was revived in time to see Oosugi roll himself on top of Sasaki almost pinning him for the three count. Sasaki went for La Mistica Cross Facelock and eventually got it in. Oosugi reached for the ropes but gave up when Sasaki re-positioned themselves back to the middle of the ring.

After the match, Sasaki did something that is rare for him. He thanked his opponent. He chose Oosugi to be his opponent today because Oosugi showed him how fun pro wrestling is. There’s probably other reasons but Sasaki can’t remember them. He told Oosugi he respects him. Oosugi asked if Sasaki kicks every person he admires in the crotch? He thinks Sasaki’s life has gotten a lot worse, more than he ever realised in their previous tag matches. However, Sasaki showed him his true colours in today’s singles match. Oosugi believes wrestling is all inclusive and he will always remember the Sasaki he knew from their days in Mexico. Sasaki said they should go back to Mexico and have a match there.

Tetsuya Endo has been warned before by Sasaki not to get too close to Ryuichi Sekine. However Endo respects Sekine so much that he got him to be his opponent for his 8th anniversary match. Although Endo admitted afterwards that Sekine was his third choice. Still, he thinks they had a really good match.

The return of Shuji Ishikawa was meant to be a good time. It looked that way when he and Mad Paulie defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Naya. But after the match Ishikawa told Paulie he only came here to wrestle, not to sing. This was not the time for karaoke. He would only sing when he thinks the time is right. Ishikawa apologised for the disappointing news.

The master of unintentional groin attacks Mineo Fujita showcased his abilities. Soma Takao in particular was scared to fight him and backed off whenever he felt his crotch was in danger. T-Hawk also refused to tag in when Fujita was in the ring. Fujita eventually found ways to do his thing, falling headbutt first onto Takao’s groin then giving T-Hawk a Facecrusher onto the same spot. Fujita’s cursed ability was his team’s downfall because he accidentally Dropkicked Leo Isaka in the dick. Takao pinned Isaka to save everyone’s manhoods from further harm.

When the 3 Way Match began, Antonio Honda got upset over being left out. He was about to tell a Gongitsune joke when El Lindaman and Intelligence Sensational Grand Passion Mask #4 both attacked him. Lindaman (25) and Passion Mask (39) then began arguing over their ages. It led to everyone sitting down in the middle of the ring and refusing to be the first to move. Honda yelled at everyone to stand back up and start Chopping each other. The three wrestlers eventually had their tights accidentally pulled down and they all fought in their underwear. Honda hit the Diving Fist Drop 2020 ~Homecoming~ on Passion Mask but Lindaman then gave him a German Suplex to steal the win.

Nobuhiro Shimatani and Chikara kept yelling their names at each other inbetween moves. They mostly Chopped each other a lot.

All of DAMNATION got in the ring at the end of the show. Ishikawa explained to Sasaki his self-ban on singing karaoke. Sasaki called him stupid and asked what does Ishikawa want to do? Ishikawa wants to sing! He got to sing while Takao, Endo and Paulie danced around him. When they finished, Sasaki announced “DAMNATION ILLEGAL ASSEMBLY RETURNS VOL.2” will happen on 11th December!

Sasaki had a message to give at the start of the show. It is something everyone is thinking. “Fuck Corona!” Everyone applauded.

5. Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title: Keisuke Ishii (c) defeated Shuichiro Katsumura with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (21:56).
*V2 for Keisuke Ishii.

From the bottom of his heart, Keisuke Ishii thanked Shuichiro Katsumura for their match today. They hugged and Katsumura left the ring so Ishii could find out who his next challenger would be. Ken Ohka made his way down to the ring but was overtaken by Ayumu Honda from K-DOJO. Honda pointed at the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title belt, shook Ishii’s hand and left the ring. Ishii didn’t take the hint and asked who his next challenger is. Ohka tried to enter the ring again but Honda beat him to it once more and this time gave Ishii a Codebreaker. He then grabbed Ishii’s hand and shook it again before leaving. When Ishii regained consciousness he once again asked who his challenger is. Ohka gave up and told him it was Honda. Ishii agreed to it. He also told Ohka that he wants to defend the title on both days of the Ganbare☆Climax in August because Ishii wants the belt to shine.

The Imanari Revolution is still on a roll with Yumehito Imanari picking up another win. Imanari told Ohka afterwards that he cannot wait any longer for them to finally have their singles match so they should do it on the 14th July show! Ohka accepted the challenge. Later at the end of the show Imanari interrupted Ohka’s closing speech and took it over.

All low blows were legal in the Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Mineo Fujita match. Tominaga eventually had enough and told Fujita that he wants to get married and have children some day. When the Low Blows stopped, Fujita was able to beat Tominaga with the Swanton Bomb.

Ohka told HARUKAZE that her next match in July will be against Moeka Haruhi. She is formerly from WAVE and is now a freelancer.

7. A Match To Verify What To Do In Order To Keep Ken Ohka From Crying Against Tenshin Nasukawa: Danshoku Dieno & Ken Ohka Vs Mike Bailey & Tanomusaku Toba

On this week’s episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI”, Ken Ohka learned he will have to face kickboxing protege Tenshin Nasukawa later this month. Ohka is scared of what will happen to him when he faces the undefeated kickboxer. Danshoku Dieno is coming up with ideas to motivate Ohka and help him handle his fear. Maybe a match against two kick heavy wrestlers isn’t the brightest idea.

Gota Ihashi has been training to get on Riki Choshu’s next event. There are two problems to this. 1) Choshu wants nothing to do with him and 2) some of the DDT wrestlers are getting annoyed by Ihashi’s behaviour and now want to kick his ass. Yukio Sakaguchi mainly.

4. If You Wrestle, Do Something Like This! Matsuyama Specialty 6-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi Vs Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Mad Paulie

DDT and Big Japan are running shows back to back in the same venue that day. However I don’t think there will be cross-promotional matches on either show.

Ryutaro Watanabe was a DDT trainee from 2012 who was never able to wrestle because of two dislocated shoulder injuries. Now he returns years later asking Sanshiro Takagi if he could finally debut and do so in front of his hometown. Takagi accepted and Watanabe will wrestle against Tetsuya Endo. Endo was chosen because his debut in 2012 is the closest to the time Watanabe was in training.

GANBARE☆WRESTLING “PARADISE TRAIN 2018”, 17/06/2018
Tokyo Narimasu Act Hall

1. The Scent Of Ryukyu Blown By Ganpro ~Abandon Small Differences~: Shota & Rekka Vs Aaron Anders & Black Ribera
2. Fresh Confrontation! Sweet Spring Cucumbers!: HARUKAZE Vs Kyuri
3. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Chinko Pro Wrestling – First And Last Sexual Battle!?: Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Mineo Fujita

5. Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title: Keisuke Ishii (c) Vs Shuichiro Katsumura

Last year Mineo Fujita created a promotion called Chinko Pro Wrestling and held shows every month or two until a dick injury took him out of action. Fujita blamed the injury on accumulated damage to his dick from wrestling on those shows so this July he is putting the company on hiatus until his dick has fully recovered. Tominaga wants to wrestle Fujita on behalf of Ganbare☆Wrestling to prove that Ganpro is better than Chinko Pro. This impressed Ken Ohka enough to take Tominaga out of his already booked tag match and put him against Fujita one on one.

Aaron Anders is from Compound Pro Wrestling in Oklahoma, USA. He takes Tominaga’s original spot in the opening tag team match.

6. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Ryuichi Sekine, Yuji Hino & Yasu Urano defeated FUMA, Yusuke Kubo & HUB whn Sekine submitted FUMA with the Let’s Combine (14:28).
7. Union MAX Title: Isami Kodaka defeated Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi (c) with the Isamuashi Zan (16:35).
*Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi fails in V4. Isami Kodaka becomes the 9th Union MAX Champion!

15 years isn’t slowing down Isami Kodaka one bit. He regained the Union MAX Championship on his very own 15th Anniversary show! Kodaka’s cry from the main event’s video package was “Enjoy Wrestling!” while the defending champion Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi shouted back with “Freedom!” The video also featured comments from Ryuichi Kawakami who has been constantly compared to Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi for some reason. In a reverse of roles, it was Ryuichi who offered a handshake at the start only for Kodaka to kick his hand away. Kodaka later asked for a handshake but Ryuichi turned him down and shouted “Wooooo!” Kodaka kicked out of the Perfect Plex and fought his way out of the Perfect Five. An Exploder Suplex took Ryuichi out of his game and a bunch of Buzzsaw Kicks and Isamuashi Zan kicks won the match for Kodaka. The new champion said Ryuichi fought like a cyborg. He then asked him to send his thanks to Kawakami. Kodaka thinks Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi and Ryuichi Kawakami should combine to form the Perfect Soldier. Ryuichi’s response in broken English was “Thank you so much!” Kodaka then talked about his own career. It can go another 15, 20, 25 and even 30 years. Kodaka wants to be like The Great Kojika who is still wrestling at 75 years old. However, Kodaka is also dedicated to BASARA. If BASARA ever goes away then that means retirement for Kodaka! He will never let that happen.

HUB got into the IRON PRIEST spirit by rocking out on air guitar with FUMA and Yusuke Kubo for their entrance. FUMA even used HUB’s stinger as a guitar while they were beating on Yasu Urano. Kubo & HUB wiped out Urano & Yuji Hino with dives but the party ended when Ryuichi Sekine countered FUMA’s Reverse Power Slam and rolled it into the Let’s Combine submission. When FUMA tapped out, Urano rushed over to hug Sekine. In the backstage interview, Sekine pointed out that he never touched HUB at all during the match because he hates snakes. He also heard all of his large sized shirts and higher sold out at the merch table. None of the smaller shirts sold which annoyed him because it meant no women were buying them, only men.

In the battle of current gen yankee versus new gen yankee, Yuko Miyamoto defeated Ryota Nakatsu. Miyamoto was put in danger many times by Nakatsu’s submissions, most notably when the Fire Thunder was countered into a Cross Armbreaker. Miyamoto eventually hit the move but Nakatsu fought through the pain to get back up to his feet. However, Nakatsu was knocked down again with a Lariat and put away with the Moonsault. Miyamoto was surprised to discover that BASARA had a wrestler so focused to target his right arm like Nakatsu did. He thinks it is possible for Nakatsu to grow into a great wrestler.

If it was made out of steel, it was allowed to be used in the Hardcore 6-Man Tag Match. Takumi Tsukamoto gathered around some of his friends from Big Japan to battle the Dove Pro team and their heavy bass music that played throughout the match. A steel box was smashed over everyone’s heads a lot. Gunso grabbed a shard of metal and dug it into Tsukamoto’s forehead to make him bleed. Kabuki Kid then created a pile of chairs for Tsukamoto to be slammed onto. However Tsukamoto got some revenge on Kid with a Fisherman Buster. Jaki Numazawa fended off the Dove wrestlers by throwing chairs at them. Masashi Takeda also used the steel box to keep the Dove wrestlers away while Tsukamoto and Gunso fought to the end inside the ring. Tsukamoto Suplexed Gunso from a ladder onto a pile of metal objects below. He then hit the Zudon for the three count, making B FAULTLESS JUNKY’S the winners. Even though a winner was declared, both sides hinted that the conflict between them isn’t over yet. Tsukamoto wasn’t satisfied with the victory.

SAGAT had the impossible task of facing Daisuke Sekimoto one on one. Even with the hard work and crowd behind him, SAGAT fell to the Deadlift German Suplex. Sekimoto gently bowed to SAGAT after the match and left the ring. SAGAT was offered help by Takato Nakano to be taken out of the ring but SAGAT refused and left under his own power. SAGAT said it was impossible for him to beat Sekimoto this year. It will be impossible for him to beat Sekimoto next year. But some year, SAGAT will beat him! Doesn’t matter if it is so long in the future that Sekimoto will be a grandfather when it happens. It will happen!

The recent sale of DDT and all of its franchises has left Gouma Ryu feeling worried. The entire company is a legitimate business now and there is so much that has to change as a result. Ryu can no longer tolerate sneak attacks because it is illegal. He also wants wrestlers to be careful with their kicks because they can cause injuries. Mineo Fujita cut him off with a sneak attack Dropkick to start their tag match. Ryu tried to strike Fujita with his lawbook but Fujita stopped him with a Shining Wizard. Fujita picked up the lawbook but was told by the referee to get rid of it. Fujita dropped the book onto Ryu’s stomach by accident then pinned him with the Swanton Bomb.

Fuminori Abe channeled the abilities of Munenori Sawa to trap Takato Nakano in an Octopus Hold the same way Sawa did. Masamune kept Shiori Asahi at bay to stop the move from being broken.
