1. Kota Umeda defeated Mizuki Watase with the PK (10:25).
2. 3 Way Match: Tetsuya Endo defeated Naomi Yoshimura and Kazuki Hirata when Endo pinned Hirata with the Swandive Firebird Splash (6:22).
3. Keisuke Okuda & Makoto Oishi defeated Toru Owashi & Antonio Honda when Oishi pinned Honda with a Cradle (9:57).
4. MAO & Jason Kincaid defeated Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi when MAO pinned Takanashi with a Jackknife Pin (12:38).
5. DISASTER BOX Vs Ganbare☆Wrestling: Keisuke Ishii & Kouki Iwasaki defeated HARASHIMA & Yuki Ueno when Ishii pinned Ueno with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (12:13).
6. Nagoya Specialty! Where Are You Single Match: Kazusada Higuchi defeated Yuki Iino with the Doctor Bomb (13:37).
7. DAMNATION Vs ALL OUT!: Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Space Monkey defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Mad Paulie when Akito submitted Paulie with the Perfect Figure Four Leg Lock (19:38).

Remember yesterday when Daisuke Sasaki made a promise to Konosuke Takeshita that he would fight clean and never cheat again? Well believe it or not so far he is sticking to his word. When a ref bump happened in the main event, Tetsuya Endo threw a chair into the ring for Sasaki to use. Sasaki however got rid of it. Soma Takao brought the chair back in but Sasaki again threw it out. After the match Takeshita praised Sasaki for turning over a new leaf. Sasaki said he has now learned how to have fun in wrestling and today’s match made him feel good. The two then shook hands again.

Since the show was in Akito’s hometown of Nagoya, he decided to say some words about his upcoming match with T-Hawk. He calls it a match between champions of two different organisations. Akito hopes to wrestle in various places throughout 2019.

Kazusada Higuchi was hurt by Yuki Iino’s Spear but toughed it out to beat the ALL OUT wrestler. Iino is strong but Higuchi is more driven.

The visiting Ganbare☆Wrestling team were victorious over DISASTER BOX. For Keisuke Ishii and Kouki Iwasaki it was the first time in a while since they’ve wrestled in DDT. They were accompanied by Yumehito Imanari who was waving the Ganpro flag for their entrance. Today’s win removes some of the disappointment the team has from earlier in the week when they challenged for the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles in NOAH and lost.

MAO continues to squeak by Shuten-dōji wrestlers. Yesterday he pinned Yukio Sakaguchi with a Cradle, today he pinned Masahiro Takanashi with a Jackknife. MAO still has a headache from the High Kick Sakaguchi gave him yesterday.

Makoto Oishi and Keisuke Okuda have an unusual double team move where Oishi sits in front of his opponent, Okuda charges in to do a Penalty Kick and Oishi moves out of the way so the opponent gets hit instead. Today Oishi and one of his opponents Antonio Honda were in opposite positions and Okuda ended up hitting the Penalty Kick on his own partner. However Oishi was able to fluke cradle Honda into a Gedo Clutch style pin to win the match.

It’s been a little quiet for news over in DDT land this week. I’d call it the calm before the storm with the next Sumo Hall shows being just over a fortnight away.

The feud between ALL OUT and DAMNATION now has the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles involved. ALL OUT have their first defence while Konosuke Takeshita and Daisuke Sasaki get a chance to scout each other even further.

The next challengers for the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles will be determined but still no sign for Miyu Yamashita’s next title defence yet. At least that’s from what I’m seeing. I would have figured Natsumi Maki but she’s gunning after the tag titles here. Maybe Shoko Nakajima, Nodoka Tenma or even Yuki Aino can kick up some dust about it.

7. Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & HARASHIMA Vs Konosuke Takeshita & Shinya Aoki

Nobuhiro Shimatani is out of action for around two months with an injured left rotator cuff. This means he is off the shows until at least March. The good news is he does not need to have surgery. Daisuke Sasaki was so upset over Shimatani’s injury that he briefly considered splitting up DAMNATION. Not because he’s concerned for Shimatani but more because they will now get nothing done without their manager running around doing their chores for them.

Danshoku Dieno is keeping himself busy at shows while he recovers from his injuries. At Korakuen Hall he will be give out tarot readings to fans for 1,000 yen.

2. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – A Block: Akito (6) defeated MAO (4) with the Perfect Figure 4 Leg Lock (8:43).
3. Nagoya Specialty! Special 6-Man Tag Match: Ultimo Dragon, Toru Owashi & Keisuke Okuda defeated Makoto Oishi, Masahiro Takanashi & Kazuki Hirata when Okuda pinned Hirata with a PK (10:22).

5. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – B Block: Shinya Aoki (8) defeated Tetsuya Endo (6) by TKO with a Front Neck Lock (8:13).
6. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – B Block: Konosuke Takeshita (c) (8) defeated Sammy Guevara (6) with the Fable (11:37).
*V2 for Konosuke Takeshita.
7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – A Block: Daisuke Sasaki (6) defeated Kazusada Higuchi (6) with the Crossover Facelock (16:41).
8. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – A Block: Go Shiozaki (10) defeated HARASHIMA (6) with the Strong Arm Lariat (22:50).

A Block

1. Go Shiozaki (10)
2. Kazusada Higuchi (6)
-. HARASHIMA (6)
-. Akito (6)
-. Daisuke Sasaki (6)
6. MAO (4)
-. Puma King (4)

B Block

1. Konosuke Takeshita (8)
-. Shinya Aoki (8)
3. Tetsuya Endo (6)
-. Sammy Guevara (6)
-. Mike Bailey (6)
6. Masahiro Takanashi (4)
-. Soma Takao (4)

The final for the D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 is now set. In the main event of today’s show, Go Shiozaki defeated HARASHIMA to win the A Block uncontested. HARASHIMA had him stunned with a Standing Somato but was cut off with a Lariat. Shiozaki finished him off with the Go Flasher and then the Strong Arm Lariat to win.

The other A Block wrestler scrapping for the top spot was Kazusada Higuchi although his chances were difficult from the onset. He needed to beat Daisuke Sasaki and hope that HARASHIMA would beat Shiozaki to cause a three way tie with the direct confrontation rule cancelling each other out. Sadly for Higuchi he was put in danger after an Avalanche Pedigree from Sasaki. Then when Sasaki applied La Mistica Cross Facelock Higuchi was in even more danger. It was all over when Sasaki switched the move into the Crossover Facelock, getting the submission win and knocking Higuchi out of the tournament.

When that match was over Danshoku Dieno & Naomi Yoshimura appeared. Yesterday they put forth the challenge for Sasaki to defend the KO-D Openweight Title against Yoshimura on 3rd January. Today they wanted his answer. Sasaki said no. He wants to defend the title against Nobuhiro Shimatani instead! Yoshimura knocked Shimatani out with a Lariat and Dieno told Sasaki his choice was now out of action. Yoshimura then told everyone that while he was in America he found out everyone over there knows that the champion of DDT is some pathetic long haired man who was dumped by Candice LeRae. He also heard that LeRae received flowers from this loser and she threw them away. Sasaki lost his temper and got into a fight with Yoshimura. The two were pulled apart with Sasaki yelling he will kill Yoshimura and that he did spend 5,000 yen on flowers for LeRae. Dieno laughed and told Sasaki if he wants to get his hands on Yoshimura, he should give him the title shot on 3rd January.

Meeting Shiozaki in the final is Konosuke Takeshita. The B Block was all to play for with each of the three matches today determining someone’s fate. Takeshita beat Sammy Guevara to seal his place in the final. He ends with the same amount of points as Shinya Aoki but goes through via the direct confrontation tiebreaker because Takeshita beat Aoki in their block match.

Speaking of Aoki, he was able to kill off Tetsuya Endo’s chance of qualifying for the final. Endo gave him a Northern Lights Suplex but Aoki held on and applied a Front Neck Lock, choking Endo out.

Last but not least in the B Block, Mike Bailey failed to advance when he lost to Soma Takao. Once again Takao seems to be unaware over the tournament schedule. When he found out he didn’t qualify for the final, Takao asked if any of the other DAMNATION members made it even the ones who weren’t in the Grand Prix like Shimatani, Mad Paulie and Shuji Ishikawa. But maybe what Takao can fairly ask for is a KO-D Tag Team Titles shot since he just beat one of the champions.

There was one more Grand Prix match on the show with nothing to play for other than pride. Akito defeated MAO to finish above him by two points. MAO is keeping his head up because he got a win over HARASHIMA in the tournament. Akito used the tournament to experiment with his wrestling style and he has no regrets with how he performed. The big question he asks himself is whether or not he improved his standing in the lead up to ALL OUT challenging for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles.

2. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – A Block: Akito (4) Vs MAO (4)
3. Nagoya Specialty! Special 6-Man Tag Match: Ultimo Dragon, Toru Owashi & Keisuke Okuda Vs Makoto Oishi, Masahiro Takanashi & Kazuki Hirata

6. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – B Block: Konosuke Takeshita (c) (6) Vs Sammy Guevara (6)
7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – A Block: Daisuke Sasaki (4) Vs Kazusada Higuchi (6)
8. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – A Block: HARASHIMA (6) Vs Go Shiozaki (8)

In A Block the only wrestlers left standing are Go Shiozaki, Kazusada Higuchi and HARASHIMA. A win or draw for Shiozaki means he wins the block. HARASHIMA needs to beat Shiozaki and also needs Higuchi to lose to Sasaki. Meanwhile Higuchi needs to beat Sasaki and needs HARASHIMA to beat Shiozaki.

B Block is more wild. Shinya Aoki, Tetsuya Endo, Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara and Mike Bailey all have a chance to qualify depending on a wide range of results. Aoki needs to win and have Takeshita lose/draw. Endo needs to win and have Guevara lose/draw. Takeshita needs to win and have Endo and Bailey lose/draw. Guevara needs to win and have Bailey and Aoki lose/draw. Bailey needs to win and have Endo Vs Aoki end in a draw.

Naomi Yoshimura is back as Danshoku Dieno’s new ally to take down Daisuke Sasaki. Dieno wants Yoshimura to challenge for the KO-D Openweight Title but Sasaki already has his hands full with other ideas for challengers. Yoshimura will be on this show waiting for Sasaki’s answer. Dieno said that the youngster was on an excursion of Hell and came home to Japan as an Evangelist Of Love. Yoshimura confirms that by saying the most important thing he learned in America was peace. Together Dieno & Yoshimura will give Sasaki plenty of Love & Peace!

7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – B Block: Mike Bailey (4) Vs Sammy Guevara (6)

Two shows left for the group stage of the D-Ou Grand Prix. In Yokohama, Go Shiozaki can lead the A Block if he beats MAO. HARASHIMA needs to beat Puma King to stay in the running. Konosuke Takeshita is in a similar situation but every Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title match during the tournament has resulted in a new champion every time. Both Shinya Aoki and Sammy Guevara can break away from Tetsuya Endo if they win their matches.

8. D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – B Block: Soma Takao (2) Vs Sammy Guevara (6)

It’s a bit difficult to go through the different paths before the Yokohama show takes place. To make a long story short A Block is right now down to Kazusada Higuchi, Shiozaki, HARASHIMA and MAO. In B Block the race is between Endo, Aoki, Guevara with Takeshita chasing them.

4. Naomi Yoshimura & Keisuke Okuda defeated Shunma Katsumata & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Yoshimura pinned Shimtani with a Lariat (9:34).
5. Adios Diego Tres! Special Single Match: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Diego with the German Suplex (13:39).
6. Road To D-King GP Special Single Match: Akito defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Hanamasa (8:42).
7. Nagoya Specialty! Stir-fried Miso Special 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated HARASHIMA, Soma Takao & Antonio Honda when Endo pinned Honda with the Shooting Star Press (14:20).

Tetsuya Endo saved Daisuke Sasaki from the Somato by giving HARASHIMA a Shiranui. From there, Endo defeated Antonio Honda with a Springboard Overhead Kick and the Shooting Star Press. After the match Endo & Mad Paulie rushed over to Sasaki fearing the worst. Sasaki weakly said he was feeling cold but before he goes, he has a secret to tell. Sasaki then jumped up and said HARASHIMA isn’t the only wrestler who trains hard. Also Naomichi Marufuji isn’t the only wrestling genius either. DAMNATION will beat them on Christmas Eve to win the KO-D Tag Team Titles and will celebrate with a Christmas party!

Both Akito and Keisuke Ishii are confident of their chances in the upcoming D-King Grand Prix. Akito beat Ishii today but Ishii still thinks he has momentum going into his block and likes his chances of making the final. Akito is looking forward to a variety of opponents. A rematch with Sasaki will trigger bad memories of Akito losing his hair while a match with Shuji Ishikawa will be focused on targeting his legs and feet. Akito also thinks Mike Bailey is not paying much attention to him so that is a first time singles match to look forward to.

Konosuke Takeshita was glad to have a singles match with Diego before Diego left Japan. He hopes Diego becomes a big wrestler in Chile someday and then come back to Japan. It doesn’t matter how long it will take, even if Diego gets old enough to become a grandpa. Grandpa Takeshita will still be the KO-D Openweight Champion by then so he can give Grandpa Diego a title match.

She’s in the main event so she cannot risk getting injured. Takagi respects the request and hatched a new plan to get the belt. Takagi, Owashi & Kazuki Hirata are apparently inviting their female relatives Francoise☆Takagi, Margaret★Owashi & Ichiko Hirata to challenge the Tokyo Joshi team in their place.
