TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SMILE YES SHINJUKU”, 23/11/2017
Shinjuku FACE

2. Maki Ito & Mizuki Vs Nodoka-oneesan & Marika Kobashi
3. Hyper Misao Return Match: Hyper Misao Vs Rika Tatsumi
4. Saki-sama Vs Azusa Takigawa
5. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Nonoko & Yuna Manase
6. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title Next Challenger & Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Yuu (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita

The No. 1 Contendership for the TOKYO Princess Title will be between Miyu Yamashita and Yuu. If Yuu is still the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion then that belt will be on the line too. Their only previous singles match took place in September 2016 when Yuu beat Yamashita to win the Princess Title. Yamashita has promised to attack, attack, attack and attack to avenge her loss.

The Miraclians are not taking their first challengers lightly. Yuka Sakazaki lost to the Super Milk Combination in a non-title tag match last week. She sees them as a giant gate to climb over. Shoko Nakajima also knows that the challengers’ team name is not a gag, it’s a description of their strength. Nonoko & Yuna Manase want to use their big chests to overpower the champion team’s speed and technical abilities.

Hyper Misao is back in action after an ACL and meniscus surgery took her out of action for over 10 months. Her debut match took place in Shinjuku FACE so her return match in the same venue feels like a re-debut. Rika Tatsumi is her chosen opponent. They went to see the movie “IT” together recently and Tatsumi had to restrain herself from figuring out what Misao’s match strategy will be.

4. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs DAMNATION!: Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Daisuke Sasaki

No word yet on if the main event will be for the Indy World Jr. Title. I expect so if Sasaki beats Diego. Shinichiro Tominaga deserves it after his Amateurs Vs Professionals comparison at the last show.

It’s a Toryumon reunion of sorts for Ken Ohka’s 16th Anniversary.

DDT “DRAMATIC NIIGATA! 2017”, 05/11/2017
Niigata City Nishikawa Multi-Purpose Hall
292 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Shuten-dōji Vs T2Hide!: Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Kazuki Hirata when Sakaguchi pinned Hirata with the PK (9:01).
2. Soma Takao defeated Daiki Shimomura with the Diving Foot Stomp (7:44).
3. Makoto Oishi, Shunma Katsumata & Saki Akai defeated Toru Owashi, Kouki Iwasaki & Cherry when Katsumata pinned Iwasaki with a Foot Stomp (9:54).
4. Danshoku Dino & Keisuke Ishii defeated Antonio Honda & Diego when Dino pinned Honda with the G Driver (12:45).
5. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Mike Bailey, MAO & Kazusada Higuchi when Sasaki submitted MAO with the Cross Facelock (12:42).
6. Niigata Specialty Special Bishamonten Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Akito defeated HARASHIMA & Super Sasadango Machine when Takeshita submitted Sasadango with a Cross Armbreaker (20:18).

The show took place in Super Sasadango Machine’s hometown so he came out at the start of the show to welcome everyone. He was interrupted by Danshoku Dino who accused Yuki Ueno of causing a fuss at ringside. Dino asked Ueno if there was something he wanted to say. Ueno did have something to tell Sasadango… “Happy birthday to you!” Dino, Ueno, HARASHIMA and Antonio Honda all wished Sasadango a happy 40th birthday and brought in a cake for him too. The birthday celebrations continued in the main event where Sasadango & HARASHIMA took on ALL OUT. Although Sasadango took the fall and lost the match, he was given more presents by the wrestlers and Yukinori Matsui afterwards. Akito dropped pretenses and told Sasadango he was happy to finally wrestle Muscle Sakai today after wanting to do it for a long time. Hisaya Imabayashi then informed Sasadango that he forgot to tell him about the commiserations prize for losing the main event. Sanshiro Takagi came out with the prize, another birthday cake for Sasadango. Takagi told him that when he was 40 years old he booked the first DDT show in Sumo Hall. He wants Sasadango/Sakai to spend his 40th year in life doing something big in Niigata. Sasadango thanked him and the rest of DDT for putting this event together for his birthday. He cannot keep up with the speed and fitness of the younger wrestlers but he still tries and feels refreshed. He looks forward to working towards reaching Takagi’s expectations for him.

MAO was about to do the Cannonball 450 on Daisuke Sasaki but Sasaki pushed the referee into the turnbuckles to knock him down. Sasaki then kicked MAO below the belt and pulled him into the Cross Facelock to make him submit.

It seems that management are starting to get tired of Antonio Honda’s obsession with the children’s tale “Gon, The Little Fox”. Danshoku Dino put together today’s tag match against Honda to prevent Honda from telling everybody in Niigata about Gon, The Little Fox. Dino revealed he is now the chairman of the Gongitsune Diffusion Committee and he was given permission to use a murderous move called the G Driver to stop Honda. Imabayashi protested Dino’s plan on behalf of Honda’s safety but Dino ordered Keisuke Ishii to keep him quiet. Honda tried to talk about “Gon, The Little Fox” but Dino successfully used the G Driver (which is apparently just the Danshoku Driver) to stop him. Dino & Ishii celebrated their mission of keeping Niigata as a Gay Town instead of a Gongitsune Town.

*Fukushima becomes a Gay Town.
5. HARASHIMA defeated MAO with the Somato (11:28).
6. Gorgeous Matsuno 15th Anniversary Wrestler Debut Commemoration! Fukushima Specialty Special 6-Man Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Gorgeous Matsuno defeated Yukio Sakaguchi, Masahiro Takanashi & Kouki Iwasaki when Takeshita pinned Iwasaki with the Surprise Rose (15:05).

Gorgeous Matsuno celebrated 15 years in pro wrestling with his annual “GORGEOUS NIGHT” show in Fukushima. Matsuno wrestled in new gear for his match and came out with a music band for his entrance. He also sang songs with his partner Junko Tashiro after the main event. Matsuno said he is 56 years old but he will continue to be a non-embarrassing pro wrestler for as long as he can.

Daisuke Sasaki thinks DDT should cancel the Mike Bailey Vs Tetsuya Endo match scheduled for Korakuen Hall later this month. Endo beat Bailey in their previous singles match during the King Of DDT tournament and Endo thinks the result of the next match will be the same. Sasaki demands that they cancel the match and replace it with himself versus Solo Darling.

2. Reversal Pro Wrestling Trial: Gouma Ryu defeated Kuishinbo Kamen and Atsushi Matsuyama when Ryu pinned Matsuyama (7:06).
3. Takumi Tsukamoto & Yasu Urano defeated Masamune & Daichi Kazato when Tsukamoto pinned Kazato with the Zudon (15:01).

6. Daisuke Retirement Road: Isami Kodaka defeated Daisuke with the Isamuashi Zan (15:18).

In one month’s time, Guts World wrestler Daisuke will be retiring from pro wrestling. As a gift, BASARA offered him a match against Isami Kodaka for the first and only time in both of their careers. Both put their full effort into the match and at one point it was at risk of ending in a double KO countout but Kodaka and Daisuke both stood up at nine. Daisuke kicked out of the Diving Double Knee Drop and focused on hitting the Sliding D to win. Kodaka avoided it a couple of times including a counter into the European Clutch for a nearfall. Kodaka ducked a Lariat and threw Daisuke over with an Exploder Suplex. The Isamuashi Zan afterwards ended the match with Kodaka as the winner. Kodaka asked Daisuke why was he retiring because Kodaka didn’t want the match to end. Daisuke told him that he wants to go out at the end of his career with a crazy death. Kodaka called Daisuke a wonderful pro wrestler and he appreciates him coming to BASARA. The two celebrated by drinking beer in the ring to close out the show.

The original Cavalry trio were together for the first time in a while. Ryuichi Sekine, Ryota Nakatsu & Koji Iwamoto all did their Cavalry entrance together for the occasion. Their day went even better when they defeated IRON PRIEST. Sekine continues to win his matches with the Let’s Combine. It was the boost of momentum he needed on the road to his Union MAX Title shot.

Masaya Takahashi wrestled once before in BASARA back in June but today was his first singles match in the promotion. He and SAGAT bashed each other with chairs and steel cans until Takahashi won with a Jackhammer.

4. Meet The Assassin X From Daisuke Sasaki!: Ken Ohka defeated Nobuhiro Shimatani with the Fire Spear (12:11).
5. G-POP! Ganpuro New Generation Tryout!: Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Shota with the Just Facelock (16:36).
6. Bonus Track ~72 Hours Honey TV Special Tag Match~ Youtuber Kusanagi Pro Wrestling Debut Match: Danshoku Dino & Youtuber Kusanagi defeated Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari when Kusanagi pinned Imanari after the Spike Danshoku Driver (3:38).

The end of the show was interrupted by Danshoku Dino and another person. He came here not out of competition between DDT and Ganbare☆Wrestling but to offer them some attention instead. The person with Dino was Kusanagi, a Youtuber who also hosts a show on AbemaTV called 72 Hour Television. He wants to make a worldwide trending video so Dino suggested him to enter a pro wrestling match which is why they are here today. An impromptu match between Ohka & Yumehito Imanari Vs Dino & Kusanagi took place there and then. Kusanagi and his friends recorded the match while he wrestled and he even got the winning pinfall on Imanari after a Spike Danshoku Driver.

The scheduled main event was Shota Vs Shinichiro Tominaga which Tominaga won. He told Shota the reason he won today was because it is Autumn. Tominaga always fights his best during the Autumn. But he wants to fight Shota again in Spring, Summer and Winter too so they can fight during every season. Tominaga then brought up the time Daisuke Sasaki called him an amateur. Tominaga wants Sasaki to answer what is the line that separates an amateur and a professional. He wants Sasaki to go visit the XVideos website and look up the most searched word on that site. It is “Amateur”. If Tominaga is an amateur then he will take the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title from Sasaki and become the strongest amateur! Tominaga will get his title match on 26th November.

The assassin sent by Sasaki to fight Ohka was revealed to be Nobuhiro Shimatani! Even though Sasaki explicitly said in advance that his assassin is not a member of DAMNATION, Shimatani acted like he was one by wearing the DAMNATION shirt with a leather jacket over it. He said Ohka has lost all his money and today he will lose his wrestling life! He attacked Ohka and immediately went for a Cross Facelock. Ohka defended himself then brawled with Shimatani until he finished him off with the Fire Spear. He sent a message to Sasaki afterwards. Shimatani is not the sort of godly assassin that was promised but still the assassin was defeated. That means Ohka deserves another shot at taking the World Jr. Title from him. Ohka also told Shimatani he is doing fine without DAMNATION and he doesn’t need their vindication to be strong. Shimatani shook Ohka’s hand and left the ring.

A wrestler from India named Baliyan Akki approached the ring during the opening announcements. He introduced himself to Ohka, told him that Ganpuro is very famous in his country and he traveled all the way to Japan so he can wrestle here. Ohka was amazed by this discovery and he added Akki into the Ganbare Tryout match. In the tryout match Ganbare The Shooter forgot to wear his mask so Ganbare The Great covered his face until one was found. Ganbare The Akihabara carried a Comiket paper bag to the ring containing a Black Spider VII mask he wore later on. Ganbare The Robin wrestled in a Minoru Fujita shirt over his usual gear. Robin got the win the a Diving Cross Body onto the other team but it took some time for everybody to stand in the right position. He wouldn’t risk the move until they were close enough for him to do it successfully. When the match was over Ganbare The Great announced the tryout results. Akki failed because he cannot communicate well with the other wrestlers. Akihabara failed because he is a thief. Robin failed for no reason. So the entire tryout was a failure! Robin complained that should have passed because he won the match. He promised to return on his own terms next time.

Sumire Natsu got heckled by both the audience and the wrestlers for wearing heavy make-up on her face for the match. She got the last laugh by pinning HARUKAZE with her feet on the ropes. HARUKAZE demanded a singles match with Natsu and it will take place on 26th November.

There were times in the opening match when J-Soul Pandita III IV wandered away from the ring leaving Chikara and Imanari to fight each other. It eventually wandered back in. Chikara gave it the Saber Chop but Imanari kicked him away and gave Pandita the Death Penalty to steal the win.

5. Rocky Kawamura Local Gifu Triumph! Okuhida Love Special 6-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA, Soma Takao & Rocky Kawamura defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie when HARASHIMA pinned Paulie with the Somato (15:31).
6. Konosuke Takeshita & Akito defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Shunma Katsumata when Takeshita pinned Katsumata with the Surprise Rose (19:28).

Today was a special show for Akito because it was held in Gifu City. His grandmother lives there and she attended the show along with Akito’s parents. He’s ashamed that he does not get to visit her much because of his wrestling career but he is happy the career allowed him to see her today.

Rocky Kawamura got some of the spotlight by knocking down Mad Paulie with punches to set up HARASHIMA’s Somato. Soma Takao took Daisuke Sasaki out of the ring and held him back with a Sleeper Hold. HARASHIMA pointed out afterwards that Takao has been acting rougher lately. He also thanked Kawamura for being the key part of their victory today. Kawamura yelled “Adrian!” to celebrate.

He’s only been in DDT for 10 minutes yet Keisuke Okuda is already making enemies. He provoked Yukio Sakaguchi after their tag match and swore to kill him. Sakaguchi encouraged him to try then called him a “bakayaro”.

2. Yuu & Marika Kobashi defeated Miyu Yamashita & Maki Ito when Yuu submitted Kobashi with the Katahajime (9:54).
3. Azusa Takigawa defeated Nodoka-oneesan with a Thrust Kick (9:20).
4. Saki-sama defeated Mizuki with the Modified Foot Choke (10:30).
5. Nonoko & Yuna Manase defeated Yuka Sakazaki & Maho Kurone when Manase pinned Kurone with the W Oppai Ye ().
6. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Reika Saiki (c) defeated Rika Tatsumi with the Jackhammer (15:27).
*V2 for Reika Saiki.

Reika Saiki had an answer for all of Rika Tatsumi’s offence. Saiki’s win came when she countered the Hip Attack into a Back Drop. From there Saiki hit the Shining Wizard and the Jackhammer to earn her second successful defence of the TOKYO Princess Title. Saiki announced her next defence will be at Korakuen Hall on 4th January. Miyu Yamashita came out to challenge her but Yuu came out too to do the same. Yamashita and Yuu agreed to fight each other with the winner getting the title shot against Saiki at Korakuen.

The Super Milk Combination are off to a good start by beating one half of the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Champions. Part of their entrance includes a haka style dance. The W Oppai Ye is a tag team finisher where Nonoko & Yuna Manase sandwich the victim with two Body Attacks. Manase was impressed that she and Nonoko won a match without fighting each other. They are now confident they will win the tag titles on 23rd November.

After Saki-sama beat Mizuki she was challenged to a match by Azusa Takigawa. She earned her first win today but beating just anybody in Tokyo Joshi Pro isn’t enough. She must beat Saki-sama to prove herself! Saki admitted she doesn’t remember getting involved with Takigawa last month. That’s how little she means to her. If Saki-sama is a diamond, Takigawa is a stone on the roadside. If Saki-sama is the moon, Takigawa is a turtle. If Saki-sama is Vince McMahon running the WWE, Takigawa is Tetsuya Koda eating rice on his own with a key holder. She accepts the challenge and the match will take place on 23rd November.

Both Azusa Takigawa and Nodoka-oneesan were taking today’s match seriously. Neither wanted to be seen as the weakest wrestler in Tokyo Joshi. Nodoka even revealed she was wearing training gear under her usual costume. But Takigawa proved to be more determined and she pinned Nodoka with a Thrust Kick to win her first ever singles match.

Sanshiro Takagi appeared to announce the next set of debuts for Tokyo Joshi. Earlier this year DDT and the Up Up Girls idol group set up auditions for an Up Up Girls wrestling unit. Four girls passed the audition and will have their debut matches at Korakuen Hall on 4th January. The girls are Miu (18 years old, Saitama), Raku (19 years old, Tokyo), Hikari (19 years old, Hokkaido) and Hinano (19 years old, Tokyo).

7. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles Decision Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Diego defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Shuji Ishikawa & Mad Paulie when Diego pinned Sasaki with the VHS (17:06).
*ALL OUT becomes the 31st KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions!
8. KO-D Tag Team Titles: HARASHIMA & Naomichi Marufuji (c) defeated Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi when Marufuji pinned Takanashi with the Shiranui (19:23).
*V3 for HarashiMarufuji.

KUDO watched on from the ringside corner as his Shuten-dōji brothers fought HarashiMarufuji for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Last time, KUDO was accidentally knocked out and concussed by Naomichi Marufuji. This time Yukio Sakaguchi used KUDO’s Hell Guillotine in the corner in tribute to KUDO. However HARASHIMA was there to save his partner from defeat. Even the Right Knee Of God from Sakaguchi that has plagued HARASHIMA all month wasn’t enough to keep him down today. Marufuji cut off Masahiro Takanashi with a Thrust Kick and then the Shiranui for the finish. Marufuji had a brief confrontation with KUDO & Sakaguchi after the match but Shuten-dōji left the ring quietly. Marufuji took the microphone and then asked why nobody else has come out to challenge the champions? He began talking about bringing the tag titles to NOAH and then called for Konosuke Takeshita to come down to the ring. Takeshita did so with Akito by his side. Marufuji was surprised to see Akito. They once had a singles match together in Sportiva Entertainment back in 2012. Akito reminded him of the match and thanked him for it. Takeshita told Marufuji that today’s main event gave him goosebumps and now he definitely wants to take the tag title from him. Marufuji said he would have to look at his NOAH schedule but he & HARASHIMA will accept the challenge. They all agreed to have the match on 23rd November in Korakuen Hall. Marufuji was hesitant to confirm it but once he got the diary up on his phone and saw the date was empty he guaranteed he will be there. Akito promised Marufuji he will tweet “Tomorrow is the tag title match” to him the day before the show so he won’t forget.

The KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles are active again and now belong to ALL OUT! The decision match saw Diego pin Daisuke Sasaki with the VHS to win his first serious championship in DDT. The win means a lot to Diego because it happened in Shin-Kiba 1st RING, the same venue where DDT held a goodbye show for him in May 2014. Diego then announced he will be returning home to Chile in December. He has only two months left in DDT but he promises to defend the 6-Man Tag Titles with ALL OUT until it’s time to leave. Sasaki attempted to ambush Diego but was foiled. Diego then picked up the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title and said he wants to win it from Sasaki and bring it with him to Chile! DAMNATION later blamed their defeat on their private LINE group. Sasaki and Shuji Ishikawa like using it but Mad Paulie wasn’t originally included and Tetsuya Endo isn’t on there much. That was the difference maker today.

Kazusada Higuchi & Antonio Honda became jealous of Mike Bailey & MAO’s friendship. They tried to mimic their opponent’s double Asai Moonsault but failed and slipped off the ropes. Bailey & MAO did the move correctly and went on to win. Bailey afterwards said he will beat Tetsuya Endo on 23/11 and Taiji Ishimori at the Differ Cup on 28/11. MAO was sad the match was over. But he and Bailey will team again so look forward to it! MAO thinks maybe their team name can be Mike Inoue.

The rest of the show was all about the Danshoku Commandment series. Producer Danshoku Dino decided to pit a bunch of DDT wrestlers against each other in a series of 5 minute matches and reward them points based on the results. Dino would listen to suggestions and complaints from the wrestlers in the ring before deciding the match-ups. Makoto Oishi wanted a match that would improve his skills. As much as he enjoys singing and dancing for NωA he is also concerned about the unit’s poor win-loss record. Dino decided Oishi would face his NωA partner Shunma Katsumata because he wanted to see what would happen when two friends fought each other. Kouki Iwasaki requested a match against Dino. This was something he never wanted to ask for until he watched Dino’s matches from the P Playful Series. Dino declined and instead put him against Soma Takao. Kazuki Hirata wanted to pick on somebody younger than him so he asked for Nobuhiro Shimatani. Dino said no. A better idea would be to bring Hirata back to his roots and face Keisuke Ishii in a Monthly Young Communications reunion. Tetsuya Endo also wanted a match against Shimatani. Dino wouldn’t allow it because he was putting himself against Shimatani. This left Endo having to fight Toru Owashi in the final match. Three of the bouts lasted the full five minutes. Only Takao and Ishii were able to win their bouts in quick fashion. Oishi almost had Katsumata beaten with the Miracle Ecstasy. Dino had Shimatani trapped in the Strangle Hold P until the bell rang. Owashi asked Endo to shake his hand after their match but Endo gave him the middle finger. Later in the show Dino revealed the final scores. Ishii and Takao had 10 points, everybody who drew got 5 points and everybody who lost got 0 points. Somehow Mizuki Watase got 30 points and Yuki Ueno scored 84 points even though they weren’t part of the competition until now. Ueno was declared the winner.
