TJPW All Over The World This Weekend, Akki Gets BK-G Title Shot

I’m back home from Vegas and will aim to post the Around The World article about it over the weekend. I haven’t spent much time looking over what happened outside of the shows I went to.

It’s all set for Golden Week. Five years ago Yuki Arai had her pro wrestling debut with Arisu Endo as one of her opponents. Now they are going to fight for the Princess Of Princess Title as part of Arai’s 5th Anniversary! Endo has thought of Arai being TJPW’s ultimate hero but that’s a role she wants for herself. Arai thinks this match is fate because many of her important matches have involved Endo.

The IInspiration were given a fair warning by Miu Watanabe that Rika Tatsumi wanted to meet them. Now they have to deal with Daydream as their next challengers for the Princess Tag Team Titles. Since Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee aren’t in Japan at the moment, Daydream have found two dolls and decorated them to look like The IInspiration. They claim they are just doing it to be cute but everyone else can’t help but think this is mind games coming from the challengers.

One match is already booked for next month and it is Baliyan Akki challenging Mr. Bueno for the BK-G Openweight Title. It all seems so normal. Perhaps too normal.

You want Baka Gaijin + Friends to get weird, here you go. Zack Sabre Jr. & Chris Brookes are teaming up again as SchadenTekkers to take on the Philippines team of Hotdog De San Jose (I assume that’s Nigel San Jose incognito) & Super P. I got to watch Super P wrestle at the Spark show last weekend. She’s always looking to make new friends.

After yesterday’s show Ilusion had symptoms of a concussion and is waiting for a diagnosis so DDT has pulled him off the next couple of shows for the time being. He will be out of action until at least 6th May. Once that event passes DDT will consult with his doctor over when Ilusion can be cleared to return. Minoru Fujita has been called in on short notice to replace Ilusion on tomorrow’s show.

The main event of the next D GENERATIONS show is getting a little experimental. Takeshi Masada is in charge of putting the match together and he decided to take on To-y in a match where throwing moves are prohibited. So in theory would that mean his finisher and To-y’s finisher aren’t allowed and we’re getting a match full of kicks against chops instead?

This will be Masami Inahata’s first appearance on a D GENERATIONS show.
