Shunma Katsumata has decided this run as the DDT Extreme Champion will be spent feeling how his challengers take in pro wrestling. Kumadori is first up with the dancer wanting to go as far as he can so he can be seen as something other than a guest wrestler by DDT fans.

“SHINJUKU FACE COUNTDOWN SERIES ~MEISHIN KOKOTSU~”, 30/09/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. ~Many Thanks Battle Royal~: X Vs X
2. ~Go to the NEXT~: Ilusion & Homare Vs Shota Kofuji & Masami Inahata
3. ~THE FACE GENERATION~: MAO, Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes Vs Dragon Kid, Yuma Aoyagi & Kuroshio TOKYO Japan
4. ~W-FACE FINAL~: Aja Kong & Chihiro Hashimoto Vs Mayumi Ozaki & Sareee

The main event has been decided for the very last wrestling show held inside Shinjuku FACE and it is the most fitting one they could have thought of. The main event of the very first show held in the venue 21 years ago was Mayumi Ozaki & Dynamite Kansai against Aja Kong & Manami Toyota. Only Ozaki and Kong are still active out of those four so they are going against each other in another tag match. This time Kong is teaming up with Chihiro Hashimoto from Sendai Girls while Ozaki must fight side by side with Sareee!

You can’t close down Shinjuku FACE if Kuroshio TOKYO Japan never finishes his entrance! Maybe the same goes for if Dragon Kid horizontally grabs onto a ring post and wiggles his body out of reach for the staff to grab him. Can’t rely on Yuma Aoyagi, he won’t do anything about it.

The participants in the Battle Royal will not be revealed until the day of the show. It will be a Royal Rumble style match.

The match order other than the main event will not be decided until the day of the show.

*Danshoku Dieno becomes the 1,900th champion. Danshoku Dieno wins Shunma Katsumata’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.
5. Special Single Match ~ I’m You, You’re Me: Daisuke Sasaki and Fake Daisuke Sasaki defeated Daision Sasaki with the Double Crossface Lock (11:02).
6. Unit Shuffle! Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, MAO & HARASHIMA defeated Chris Brookes, KANON & To-y when Ueno pinned To-y with the Jul.2 (24:17).

The final ever DDT Beer Garden show inside Shinjuku FACE took place today. The main event had everyone swap around their costumes and mix up their teams, ignoring unit alliances. Chris Brookes and HARASHIMA swapped costumes, MAO and KANON swapped costumes and Yuki Ueno and To-y swapped costumes. Even KIMIHIRO and YUZUKI swapped outfits with each other! It led to everyone trying to replicate the moves and motions of the wresters they were dressed as. The two teams brawled away from the ring, leading to some confusion when Shunma Katsumata suddenly appeared in the ring wearing a spare of Ueno’s outfit that To-y was also wearing. Yuki Iino then crashed the match dressed as Yukio Naya. HARASHIMA then reappeared but this time he was dressed as Antonio Honda and he did the entire Gongitsune bit. Everybody gradually returned to their normal selves to finish off the match. At the end of the show, Ueno told everyone there was one thing he would like to see one last time in Shinjuku FACE. The “Pai Rangers” song then played over the speakers for HARASHIMA to dance to.

After recovering from the chronic hangover that kept him off yesterday’s show, Daisuke Sasaki was back to fight a fake version of himself. Fake Daisuke Sasaki showed up accompanied with Fake DAMNATION T.A members Fake Hideki Okatani and Fake MJ Paul. They confronted the real versions until all of a sudden another Daisuke Sasaki doppelganger appeared named Daision Sasaki. Daision attacked the other two until he accidentally hit himself with a chair bouncing off the ropes. Then the real Sasaki and the Fake Sasaki applied a Double Crossface Lock to make Daision give up. Daisuke Kiso wasn’t sure how to call the result so he raised the hands of both Daisuke Sasaki and Fake Daisuke Sasaki.

Shunma Katsumata’s new goal of becoming a DDT Triple Crown Champion has already gone up in smoke. Danshoku Dieno beat him in the Lariat Pro Wrestling match to win both the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title and the remaining Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet. The Lariat match had everyone using the move while theme songs of famous Lariat users played throughout the action. Since NOAH’s own Junta Miyawaki was in the match, some of the non-Lariat related songs played included Naomichi Marufuji’s and Mitsuharu Misawa’s. They also played the AEW and New Japan theme songs for Kazuchika Okada.

The ending of Shinjuku FACE also spurred on the end for one of the biggest grudge matches ever associated with DDT and Tokyo Joshi Pro. The two authority figures of the companies Hisaya Imabayashi and Tetsuya Koda agreed to have one final match against each other where the loser must immediately retire! It was a war that showcased heart more than physicality between the two enemies. Koda tried to summon the power of TJPW by attempting Hyper Misao’s Chickenwing Face Lock, Mizuki’s Crossface and Yuki Arai’s Finally. When they wouldn’t work he stuck Imabayashi in a Sleeper Hold that almost choked the DDT GM out. But suddenly the DDT roster all ran down to the ring to show their support for Imabayashi, motivating him to fight out of the hold. He used the Rainmaker motion to knock Koda down with a Spinning Backfist but didn’t have the heart to finally pin the man he couldn’t beat. Koda encouraged him to keep fighting and after a limp Chop Battle, Imabayashi knocked him down with one final Spinning Backfist to win the match. Koda’s sudden retirement ceremony then began only for Imabayashi to interrupt it. He said without Koda as his rival he has no reason to continue wrestling so he will be retiring alongside him! These two retirements are just for being pro wrestlers, they will continue their management roles in their respective promotions.
