Order Of Elimination: HIMAWARI, Rika Tatsumi, Reina Seiji, Shoko Nakajima & Arisu Endo, Miu Watanabe & Yuki Aino, Uta Takami.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Reina Seiji defeated Pom Harajuku (c) with a School Boy (12:23 pm).

-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Pom Harajuku defeated Reina Seiji (c) with a School Boy (12:24 pm).
*Pom Harajuku becomes the 1,862nd champion.

Day two of Tokyo Joshi Pro’s stay at the Tokyo Idol Festival continued the mayhem brought along by the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. When yesterday came to an end the champion was Mone Kitazawa from NGT48. But when she entered the venue at the start of Day 2 Pom Harajuku put her in a Sleeper Hold to win the title. Harajuku then went on to beat the odds and successfully defend the belt in a Battle Royal. That match also featured the wrestling debut of NGT48’s Reina Seiji and she ended up winning the title from Harajuku after the match thanks to some help from Shoko Nakajima. Harajuku quickly won it back with a Shin Kick and a School Boy before running off with the belt. But doing that in the heat made Harajuku tired so she got a drink and fell asleep on the ground. The referee saw the bottle resting on top of Harajuku and counted the pin to make the Soft Drink the new champion!

Seiji spoke about her debut to reporters after the morning event. She’s been an idol for 12 years and has done plenty of different things but TJPW opened up the door for her to open up a path into pro wrestling. At first she was just doing commentary on TJPW shows but then she was told she would be doing a match! She had a costume made just for today but she hopes to get another chance to wear it again some day. She also would like to win back the Iron Man Title so she can bring it to Niigata and show it to her fans over there.

In between the early matches, there was a Rock Paper Scissors challenge between TJPW and the idol group NGT48. It was a three versus three series of games and the TJPW team crushed their opposition. Haru Kazashiro, Ren Konatsu and Miyu Yamashita won all three contests against the idols.

1. Hyper Misao & Haru Kazashiro (w/ Rio Ohmori) defeated Yuki Arai & Shino Suzuki (w/ Zahrachahiyoni Saito) when Misao pinned Suzuki with the Hypami Returns (8:19).
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Rio Ohmori defeated Zahrachahiyoni Saito (c) by Forfeit (3:29 pm).
*Rio Ohmori becomes the 1,865th champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Hyper Misao defeated Rio Ohmori (c) with a Sleeper Hold (3:30 pm).
*Hyper Misao becomes the 1,866th champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Mahiro Kiryu defeated Hyper Misao (c) with a Roll Up (3:31 pm).
*Mahiro Kiryu becomes the 1,867th champion.
2. 6-Animal Tag Match: Miyu Yamashita, Mahiro Kiryu & Tama defeated Mizuki, Raku & Ren Konatsu when Kiryu pinned Konatsu with the Spinebuster (11:07).
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Tama defeated Mahiro Kiryu (c) with a Knife Attack (4:37 pm).
*Tama becomes the 1,868th champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Miyu Yamashita defeated Tama (c) by Submission when Tama was intimidated by Yamashita’s presence (4:38 pm).
*Miyu Yamashita becomes the 1,869th champion.

Things got even crazier with the Iron Man Title during the afternoon session. Zahrachahiyoni Saito from fishbowl found the Soft Drink backstage and drank it to unintentionally become the new champion. Saito then appeared for one of the wrestling matches where Hyper Misao plotted to somehow give the belt to Rio Ohmori from Ma’Scar’Piece. She dared Saito to forfeit the title over to Ohmori if Misao’s team wins the match. Saito agreed to the terms after Misao accused her of not trusting her own team. Misao ended up winning the match and Saito lived up to her word, making Ohmori the champ. Misao then immediately grabbed Ohmori into a Sleeper Hold so she could win the title. But before she could even celebrate, Mahiro Kiryu appeared and rolled up Misao to take the belt and claim it belongs to her forever!

Yeah that didn’t last long. Kiryu was in the main event of the afternoon show teaming up with Miyu Yamashita and a mascot named Tama. The mascot’s gimmick is supposed to be teaching people about different part time jobs. Why it decided to show up to the match carrying a kitchen knife I have no idea! The referee warned Tama not to use the knife but it held onto it while giving the other team Lariats. Kiryu won the match for her team and thanked Tama for its help. But after the group photo took place to end the show, Tama stabbed Kiryu with the knife and then pinned her to win the Iron Man Title! Yamashita then fought with Tama and disarmed the mascot. She then intimidated Tama with the knife until it gave up. Yamashita now holds the title and fought off Pokotan backstage later in the evening to remain the champion going into tomorrow’s final day at the festival.

DDT Around The World – July 2026

August 1, 2026

Summer vacation season can be different things to different people. For Kira Summer it is an opportunity for her to fly home to Australia, reunite with the family and also get into fights with some of them. For Konosuke Takeshita it is a chance for him to drop a championship before heading into the most gruelling of wrestling tournaments. The likes of Miyu Yamashita, Yuki Kamifuku and Mizuki are happy to wait until summer is over and the weather gets cooler before they go off on their next adventures. And by the time people start getting ready for Christmas we have Tokyo Joshi Pro setting up another tour of Texas for everyone to look forward to.

1. AEW International Title: Kyle Fletcher defeated Konosuke Takeshita (c) with the Brainbustaaaaahhhhh!!!!! (16:45).
*Konosuke Takeshita fails in V4. Kyle Fletcher becomes the 14th AEW International Champion!

Takeshita had some business to attend to in AEW before he could get over to New Japan for his G1 tour. The bad blood he has with Kyle Fletcher had the two fighting over AEW International Title. Big bombs were thrown between the two of them leading to a fight on the ring apron where Takeshita gave Fletcher the Bastard Driver as well as the Wheelbarrow Suplex. However Fletcher cut off the PowerDrive Knee by giving Takeshita the Michinoku Driver for a nearfall. Takeshita used a Last Ride to put Fletcher back in position for the PowerDrive Knee but Don Callis then grabbed Takeshita by the ankle at ringside to distract him. Fletcher’s cheap shot turned things around until Takeshita gave him the Raging Fire. Unfortunately he was too hurt to pin him immediately and the pause allowed Fletcher to recover enough to place his leg on the ropes for the pin break. Fletcher rolled out of a Backslide Pin to kick Takeshita right in his arm. He then did the Vertical Drop Brainbuster but Takeshita kicked out. So Fletcher had to lift him up to the top rope where he gave him the El Generico style Brainbuster onto the turnbuckle! That put Takeshita down for the count and made Fletcher the new champion.

ACW “HEART OF WAR”, 18/07/2026
Estonian Hall, North Adelaide, Australia

1. Sister Vs Sister: Kira Summer defeated Miki Fortune with an Inside Cradle (?:??).

Who could have guessed coming home would cause so much family drama? Kira Summer’s first match in Australia since joining TJPW put her in the ring against her own sister Miki Fortune at an Adelaide Championship Wrestling show. First Summer asked for a handshake before the match began but Fortune slapped her hand away. Then a hard Elbow Strike by Fortune from a tie-up sent the message to Summer that her sister wasn’t going to hold back against her. Fortune ended up losing her temper when Summer kicked out of a Draping Double Stomp over the corner. She argued with the referee over it and then pulled him into the way when Summer charged in for a Clothesline. With the ref knocked out, Fortune kept doing Double Stomps onto Summer until she realised nobody was around to count the pin. Drama continued to unfold when another member of the family, an unnamed sister of both Kira and Miki got to the front row yelling at Fortune to stop. Fortune slapped her and pulled her over the railing all while their mother was watching on too! Summer dived onto Fortune from the ring apron, made sure the other relatives were okay and brought Fortune back into the ring to continue the match. Fortune took Summer into a Dragon Sleeper but was kicked back into the ropes. On the rebound Summer rolled Fortune over with an Inside Cradle to get the victory.

1. From Japan, With Love: Tarlee Vs Kira Summer

I haven’t been able to get results for this match yet. At the end of the month Summer was brought into Peak Pro Wrestling as a special opponent for someone. Tarlee recently got engaged to LDeezy after beating him in a ladder match so as an engagement gift, Deezy got Tarlee a match against a joshi wrestler. He brought in Summer thinking it would be a first time matchup for Tarlee but didn’t know that the two of them had previously fought each other in Malaysia last year. It was a 4 Way Match that Tarlee won by pinning Summer so this was a chance for Summer to avenge that result.

1. Miki Fortune & Zak Sabbath Vs Kira Summer & Havok

Tell you what, if I can get the result for this match on the day I post this article I’ll move it up to the Results section. That will work out better than waiting a month to write about what might be the last match of Summer’s Australian tour. If it turns out she has more matches over there during August then never mind what I just wrote. Given what just happened between the sisters in ACW, having their next match in a company called Riot City Wrestling sounds a bit for fitting. Zak Sabbath and Havok both look like they would often get themselves involved in causing a ruckus too.

Unfortunately it does not look like she will get to visit Ohio during this time but I doubt she’s going to complain about travelling to California either. Kitsune are bringing her in to the bright lights of Hollywood for what could be her last non-TJPW US date of her career. However it probably won’t be the last time she wrestles in America given what TJPW’s plans are for the end of the year.

*Amanda becomes the 1,848th champion.

This weekend Tokyo Joshi Pro has a major presence at the Tokyo Idol Festival with a series of mini shows taking place across three days. Each show featured two TJPW matches with some special guests involved alongside some idol performances. The inclusion of the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title to the proceedings created a lot of havoc throughout the day with multiple title changes happening inside and outside of the ring.

The morning show featured a Battle Royal that was won by the current champion Raku. She told the fans afterwards that the ring felt so hot under the sun it feels like she’s going to turn into yakiniku. Then when the group photo to end the session was finished, Pom Harajuku tried to roll up Raku to win the title. Raku kicked out only to get rolled up by Marika Kobashi outside the ring where there was a three count. She celebrated with KLP48 member Amanda who made her wrestling debut earlier in the show on the Battle Royal. Suddenly Kobashi tripped over Raku on the floor and Amanda jumped on top of her to become the new champ!

Later backstage Mifu Ashida approached Amanda and kept shaking her pom poms over her face while celebrating her title win. A referee stepped in asking Amanda if she wanted to give up and she agreed. That meant Ashida was now the champion.

-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Mifu Ashida defeated Ai Asakura (c) by Submission (4:25 pm).
*Mifu Ashida becomes the 1,853rd champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Shiori Futaba defeated Mifu Ashida (c) with the Congrazie! Kick (4:25 pm).

-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Shoko Nakajima defeated Shiori Futaba (c) with a Bite (4:27 pm).
*Shoko Nakajima becomes the 1,855th champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Pokotan defeated Shoko Nakajima (c) with a Headbutt (5:18 pm).
*Pokotan becomes the 1,856th champion.

For the afternoon session of the show, Ashida was pinned by Shoko Nakajima in the main event for another title change. Hyper Misao then betrayed her partner after the match to win the title from her. They had a tug of war over the belt that ended with Nakajima letting go and Misao hitting herself on the head and falling over. The NEO JAPANISM idol Ai Asakura jumped on top of Misao and had several wresters help her pin Misao to win the title. After that, Ashida spoke to Asakura on the microphone and tricked her into saying she was giving up the title to her. The referee counted that as a submission and made Ashida the champ. Another fight broke out among the wrestlers and Nakajima grabbed Shiori Futaba from Congrazie! to make her kick Ashida and then pin her so Futaba became the champ. Nakajima then bit Futaba’s arm until she gave up so Nakajima won the title. She remained the champion until she approached the DDT mascot Pokotan backstage and got into a fight. Pokotan knocked out Nakajima with a Headbutt and pinned her to win the belt.

Even more title changes happened later in the evening. Pokotan crashed a Niji no Conquistador that featured some TJPW wrestlers as guests and wanted to challenge the idols to a dance off. Karin Matoba accepted the challenge but during the contest Pokotan tripped and fell over. Matoba was encouraged to pin the mascot and did so to win the title. Pokotan later attacked Matoba backstage by placing its mascot head over her, scaring her into submission. However the referee decided that it was Pokotan’s Head that was now the champion rather than Pokotan itself. Then Mone Kitazawa from NGT48 found the head backstage and reached down to touch it with both her hands. A referee saw this and counted to three, declaring Kitazawa as the champion to end the day.

One of the segments between matches was called The Giant Swing Experience Project. Miu Watanabe was called into the ring to give a idol the Giant Swing. She chose Shiori Futaba from Congrazie! to take part and swung her around for five rotations. Watanabe was so pleased with it she said it was the best Giant Swing she’s ever done under a blue sky. Futaba called the experience a valuable opportunity and she appreciated being able to take part.

5. 13th Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 2: Suzume defeated Pom Harajuku with the Ring A Bell (9:23).
6. 13th Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 2: Yuki Aino defeated Miu Watanabe with the Full Nelson Of Love And Fire Z (9:23).
7. 13th Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 2: Shoko Nakajima defeated Yuki Arai with a Scorpion Death Lock Counter (15:32).

The second round of the Tokyo Princess Cup ends with its two of its biggest favorites both eliminated! The reigning Princess Of Princess Champion is gone after Yuki Arai suffered a close defeat against Shoko Nakajima. Arai pulled out something big for the match, using a Twisting Superplex off the top rope. She also blocked Nakajima from doing the Locomotion Northern Lights Suplex before switching to Big Boots to try and keep her opponent down. Nakajima took the attacks and turned things around with a Frankensteiner followed by the 619. She looked to have made a grave mistake when she went for the Diving Senton and Arai rolled out of the way. Arai then went to apply the Scorpion Death Lock but Nakajima grabbed hold of her and cradled her into a pinfall for the three count. After the match Nakajima talked about recently turning 35 years old and it’s getting more difficult for her to win as both she and Tokyo Joshi Pro grow older. But fighting Arai today reminds her of how fun TJPW is. Right now she just wants to go home and sleep but tomorrow TJPW has an entire weekend of matches happening at the Tokyo Idol Festival outside in the blazing sun. Meanwhile Arai is disappointed she won’t make the final four of the tournament like she’s often done in the past. It’s also her first singles loss of the year. She thinks she hasn’t defended the Princess Title enough so she will train like crazy while waiting for the eventual Princess Cup winner to challenge her.

Last year’s Princess Cup winner Miu Watanabe is out too! Yuki Aino is the one who can claim to have beaten the unstoppable monster princess by adapting her finishing move into an improved version. She got Watanabe in the Full Nelson Of Love And Fire but Watanabe fought her hardest to try and break out of it. Aino was able to keep her opponent in the hold and drag her down to the mat where she tangled her up even more until Watanabe gave up. Aino calls this version of the move the Full Nelson Of Love And Fire Z because it is the ultimate form of her finisher so the letter Z was the only suitable thing she could add to the end of it. Watanabe said she was confident going into the match because she has beaten Aino more often than she’s lost to her. She is sad over losing but wants everyone to know this cannot be the end of the monster princess and she will always be one forever!

Pom Harajuku was going to hunt for bees today and tried to fight off Suzume with a butterfly net and a small insect cage. When she quickly realised those tools weren’t going to work she ran off and returned in a full beekeeping outfit! She chased Suzume around ringside with a large net and eventually caught her. She then dragged Suzume over to the timekeeper’s table where she taped her hands to the stage in an attempt to have her counted out. Suzume was able to free herself and get back in the ring with little trouble. In the meantime Harajuku took off the beekeeper suit and forced Uta Takami to wear it as a decoy. Suzume fell for the trick and tried to grab Takami, thinking it was Harajuku. The School Boy from the actual Harajuku afterwards only got a two count and Suzume quickly took control back of the match. Harajuku put the suit back on one more time and took a big swing with the net but Suzume dodged it, pulled the outfit over Harajuku’s face to blind her and then hit the Ring A Bell to win the match. Suzume will face Shoko Nakajima in the Quarter Finals. She remembers losing to Nakajima in the 1st Round a few years ago (2023) and said it was a match where she felt she really evolved at the time. She wants to grow even bigger so she won’t lose to the Big Kaiju. Harajuku explained she only wanted to study Suzume for her summer vacation project and she would have killed two birds with one stone if she won the match as well. It was an upgraded tactic of something she used against Suzume before but she didn’t think Suzume would have been upgraded as well. So the next time they fight Harajuku says she’ll bring a flamethrower to beat Suzume!

Waiting for Yuki Aino in the Quarter Finals is Toga. She took Mahiro Kiryu’s best shot and has now reached the furthest she has ever gotten in the tournament. Kiryu’s blew her big chance when she tried to do the Apology Knee Drop from the second rope Vader Bomb style. Toga got out of the way and then countered the Spinebuster into the Absolute Zero for the win. Toga is happy to have surpassed one of her seniors but expects Aino to be a tougher opponent. She doesn’t like the heat while Aino is all about being passionate like fire. Maybe Toga will need to absorb that passion in order to advance further. Kiryu said her theme for the tournament was “Now’s The Time!” Except she never seized the moment and she only has herself to blame.

Hyper Misao based her strategy for today’s 8-Woman Tag Match on her Quarter Final opponent Rika Tatsumi. She was once told by someone she respects that the most important thing for pro wrestlers is 90% the ring entrance and 10% the match itself. So Misao’s team would attack and dispose of Tatsumi’s tag partners when they enter the ring one by one, leaving Tatsumi in a 4 Vs 1 disadvantage. Tatsumi’s team were ambushed and trapped underneath the ring apron while Misao’s team went wild on Tatsumi. She was eventually able to find her team and free them so the match could continue on as a fair fight. Tatsumi won the match and afterward tried to pin Raku for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title as they were all leaving ringside. Raku kicked out and escaped with the belt. Raku later told reporters she is looking forward to the Tokyo Idol Festival this weekend because she wants to take a nap using the title as a pillow underneath the blue sky.

Today is Shino Suzuki’s first match back since taking a two month break for recovery reasons. Although she lost her match, everyone else involved were all happy to have her back.

A new match was made for the 23rd August Korakuen Hall show. Ober Eats will be getting back together so they can face the team of Mifu Ashida & Sumire Natsu!

3. Yumehito Imanari Vs Hyo Ogawa
4. Ken Ohka 25th Anniversary Match Part 2: Ken Ohka, Akira Shoji & Masashi Takeda Vs Isami Kodaka, Chris Brookes & Fuminori Abe
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi (c) Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu
6. Special Single Match: YuuRI Vs Takumi Iroha
7. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie

This is the match order for Ganbare☆Pro’s Korakuen show.

Earlier this week GanPro gave an update on Munetatsu Nakamura’s condition. It’s been confirmed he tore his ACL in his right knee and he will need to go under surgery for it. The surgery is scheduled for 31st August and once GanPro sees how his rehabilitation progresses they will begin working out when he can be expected to wrestle again.

Shinjuku FACE Countdown Series

July 28, 2026

This September Shinjuku FACE will be closing down after 21 years of hosting wrestling shows and other events inside the heart of Tokyo’s nightlife. The final week of the venue’s business will consist of 12 shows from different wrestling promotions and personalities. It is called the Shinjuku FACE Countdown Series and below is the schedule of events for those who would like to keep track of it.

The final event is taking place on Shinjuku FACE’s last day of business. The show is being produced by DDT and CyberFight, similar to last year’s 20th Anniversary event. That was pretty much a glorified DDT lineup with special guests from other companies added in so I expect the series finale to be something along those lines.

TJPW At The Tokyo Idol Festival 2026 Schedule

July 27, 2026

During the end of July and the start of August Tokyo Joshi Pro will be involved quite heavily with the Tokyo Idol Festival. Over the course of three days there will be six TJPW events mixing pro wrestling and idol concerts together. Each portion will only consist of two wrestling matches each and there are a lot of unusual ideas going into all of them.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “LOVE & PEACE TIF PRO WRESTLING 2026 – MORNING SESSION”, 31/07/2026
Tokyo TIF Pro Wrestling Special Ring At TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2026 – Greeting Area

1. Suzume & Arisu Endo Vs Toga & Shion Kanzaki
2. 9-Woman Delayed Entry Battle Royal: Amanda Vs Marika Kobashi Vs Yuki Arai Vs Mizuki Vs Pom Harajuku Vs Mahiro Kiryu Vs Sakura Hattori Vs Wakana Uehara Vs Uta Takami

Some of the matches will have idols directly involved such as a Battle Royal featuring Amanda from KLP48. That match will also feature Marika Kobashi’s return to TJPW.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “LOVE & PEACE TIF PRO WRESTLING 2026 – AFTERNOON SESSION”, 31/07/2026
Tokyo TIF Pro Wrestling Special Ring At TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2026 – Greeting Area

1. Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi Vs Haru Kazashiro & Chika Nanase
2. Miyu Yamashita, Mifu Ashida & Ren Konatsu (w/ Ai Asakura) Vs Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao & Yuki Aino (w/ Shiori Futaba)

Most of the idol appearances will have them accompanying some of the teams at ringside. Ai Asakura is from NEO JAPANISM while Shiori Futaba is from Congrazie!

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “LOVE & PEACE TIF PRO WRESTLING 2026 -MORNING SESSION-”, 01/08/2026
Tokyo TIF Pro Wrestling Special Ring At TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2026 – Greeting Area

1. Sakura Hattori & Toga Vs Wakana Uehara & Chika Nanase
2. 9-Woman Delayed Entry Battle Royal: Reina Seiji Vs Shoko Nakajima Vs Rika Tatsumi Vs Miu Watanabe Vs Yuki Aino Vs Pom Harajuku Vs Arisu Endo Vs HIMAWARI Vs Uta Takami

It was previously announced that Reina Seiji from NGT48 would be taking part in her first ever wrestling match during the festival. Given how often TJPW scouts idols for future wrestlers you never know who will be next to jump on over.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “LOVE & PEACE TIF PRO WRESTLING 2026 -AFTERNOON SESSION-”, 01/08/2026
Tokyo TIF Pro Wrestling Special Ring At TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2026 – Greeting Area

1. Yuki Arai & Shino Suzuki (w/ Zahrachahiyoni Saito) Vs Hyper Misao & Haru Kazashiro (w/ Rio Ohmori)
2. 6-Animal Tag Match: Miyu Yamashita, Mahiro Kiryu & Tama Vs Mizuki, Raku & Ren Konatsu

There’s also a mascot showing up too! Tama is a bipedal seal and self-proclaimed social misfit from an educational TV series about working part time jobs. Apparantly one of Tama’s previous part-time jobs was with FC Machida Zelvia so there’s the CyberAgent connection coming into play. As for the other match Zahrachahiyoni Saito is from fishbowl and Rio Ohmori is from Ma’Scar’Piece.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “LOVE & PEACE TIF PRO WRESTLING 2026 -MORNING SESSION-”, 02/08/2026
Tokyo TIF Pro Wrestling Special Ring At TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2026 – Greeting Area

1. Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Aino Vs Wakana Uehara & Momo Sato
2. Miyu Yamashita, Sakura Hattori & Marika Kobashi (w/ Marina Kumamoto) Vs HIMAWARI, Toga & Chika Nanase (w/ Sayonara Stay Tuned & ChumToto)

Despite also being an idol, it seems Momo Sato will only be wrestling one time during the entire festival. Marina Kumamoto is from Niji no Conquistador. That is the idol unit Miyu Yamashita had to go train with before “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” earlier this year. Sayonara Stay Tuned and ChumToto are both idol units so one side of the ring is going to be pretty crowded during that match.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “LOVE & PEACE TIF PRO WRESTLING 2026 -AFTERNOON SESSION-”, 02/08/2026
Tokyo TIF Pro Wrestling Special Ring At TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2026 – Greeting Area

1. Yuki Arai, Arisu Endo & Haru Kazashiro Vs Mizuki, Yuki Kamifuku & Shion Kanzaki
2. Miu Watanabe & Uta Takami (w/ Aya Kajishima) Vs Raku & Pom Harajuku (w/ Ayura Amano)

Both Aya Kajishima and Ayura Amano are from The Up Up Girls (2), one of the other branches of the idol brand.

DDT “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2026”, 11/08/2026
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Time Delayed Entry Battle Royal: Raku (c) Vs Yuki Iino Vs Toru Owashi Vs Akito Vs Soma Takao Vs Fuminori Abe Vs Naomi Yoshimura Vs Super Sasadango Machine Vs MJ Paul Vs Ilusion Vs Yuni Vs Yuki Ishida Vs Masami Inahata
2. Special Tag Match: Minoru Suzuki & Sanshiro Takagi Vs Kazuki Hirata & To-y
3. Hinata Kasai 1st Anniversary Debut Match ~ Special Tag Match: Jun Kasai & Hinata Kasai Vs Jun Akiyama & Rukiya
4. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato (c) Vs KANON, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI)
5. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Chris Brookes & HARASHIMA (c) Vs Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki
6. Special Single Match: YAMATO Vs Danshoku Dieno
7. Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & DOUKI Vs Antonio Honda & Tetsuya Endo
8. DDT Extreme Title: Hideki Okatani (c) Vs Shunma Katsumata
9. DDT Universal Title: Kazuma Sumi (c) Vs Ryusuke Taguchi
10. Dramatic Dream Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Kaisei Takechi
11. KO-D Openweight Title – Goodcom Asset Presents: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs MAO

This is the full lineup for “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2026” but the match order has not been decided yet outside of the main event. Yuki Ueno got one over on MAO this past weekend by making him tap out to a Sleeper Hold. He thinks MAO isn’t hitting the heights of his potential for what should be the most important KO-D Openweight Title challenge of his career. MAO is certain he still has that crazy side of himself, it’s just that he has matured a little bit so he can be ready to become DDT’s champion.

There is a shadow following Hideki Okatani’s reign as DDT Extreme Champion that he needs to vanquish next. He needs to defend the belt against Shunma Katsumata! They have fought over the title two times before with Katsumata winning both times as champion. The first match in 2023 was an important stepstone for Okatani because it was his entry into hardcore wrestling. That match was also where Katsumata injured his leg and had to vacate the title afterwards. When he returned and won it back in 2024, Okatani was one of Katsumata’s first defences during that title reign.

A partnership forged in fire has made Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki decide to chase after the KO-D Tag Team Titles together. They previously fought Chris Brookes & HARASHIMA for No. 1 Contendership over the titles back in March. FANTÔMES DRAMATIC won that match and went on to become the champions so there is plenty of setup for the rematch.

DDT are giving Hinata Kasai a tough challenge if he wants to get his first win while teaming with his dad Jun Kasai. They will take on Jun Akiyama and his DDT protege Rukiya.

Minoru Suzuki & Sanshiro Takagi are joining forces after years of being enemies inside the ring, outside the ring, at an empty Tokyo Dome and even on a bullet train. The strength of their alliance will depend on how annoying Kazuki Hirata & To-y will be in front of them.

Speaking of bullet trains, Raku now holds the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Whoever enters the Battle Royal as the champion will get a bullet train pass for one year to use whenever DDT books them for shows held outside of Tokyo. I’m not sure if that also applies to Tokyo Joshi Pro if Raku gets the prize.

DDT “FIGHTING BEER GARDEN 2026 IN SHINJUKU 【FINAL COUNTDOWN 3】”, 13/08/2026
Shinjuku FACE

0. Special Dark Match: Ilusion Vs Yoshihiko
1. Rock ‘N’ Roll 4 Way Death Match: Antonio Honda Vs Kazuki Hirata Vs Junta Miyawaki Vs To-y
2. Enter Sandman Match: Yuki Ueno Vs MAO Vs Daisuke Sasaki Vs Takeshi Masada Vs Danshoku Dieno Vs Super Sasadango Machine

The final set of Beer Garden shows to be held in Shinjuku FACE will happen in August and the usual match gimmicks will be held there. Miyawaki gets to join in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Death Match for the first time. Ilusion and Yoshihiko are also having a pre-show rematch of their Korakuen Hall dark match from April. Last but not least, Kumadori will be on the show.

DDT “THE FINAL SHINJUKU FACE BEER GARDEN PRO WRESTLING”, 14/08/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Special Single Match ~ I’m You, You’re Me: Daisuke Sasaki Vs Fake Daisuke Sasaki
2. Our LariPro ’26: Keisuke Ishii, Danshoku Dieno & Junta Miyawaki Vs Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Iino & Kazuki Hirata
3. Unit Shuffle! Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, MAO & HARASHIMA Vs Chris Brookes, KANON & To-y

It’s up to Daisuke Sasaki to deal with the fake forms of himself that have been showing up recently. Keisuke Ishii gets to host his Lariat Pro Wrestling match in Shinjuku FACE for one last time.

GANBARE☆PRO “IT’S A SUMMER FILM 2026”, 15/08/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Keisuke Ishii, SUSHI & Sentaro Motojima Vs Shinichiro Tominaga, Guts Ishijima & Shota Kawakami
2. Moeka Haruhi Vs Rydeen Hagane
3. Yumehito Imanari Vs Hyo Ogawa
4. Ken Ohka 25th Anniversary Match Part 2: Ken Ohka, Masashi Takeda & Akira Shoji Vs Chris Brookes, Isami Kodaka & Fuminori Abe
5. Special Single Match: YuuRI Vs Takumi Iroha
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi (c) Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu
7. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie

The Toyama Army that Ken Ohka’s been gathering together has a new member. Masashi Takeda is not from Toyama but apparantly his dad is and he’s visited the area enough times in his life to qualify for membership. There is no disputing that Akira Shoji is part of the team.

Moeka Haruhi and Rydeen Hagane were not on the same page during their tag match over the weekend. They blamed each other for losing that match so the obvious direction to go is have them wrestle each other to settle their differences.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “FUCKED UP FEST 2026”, 22/08/2026
Tokyo Oji BASEMENT MONSTAR

1. SEKIFUDA 1 YEAR OF BAKA ~ Special Single Match: Kota Sekifuda Vs Minoru Suzuki

It’s been over a year since Kota Sekifuda left Big Japan to go freelance. The first anniversary of his debut in Baka Gaijin + Friends is happening in August too so his present is a match against Minoru Suzuki.

The live music lineup for “FUCKED UP FEST 2026” includes a lot of bands with wrestlers in it. They are Dos Quatro (MAO), Daisetz (Antonio Honda), NωA Jr. (Shunma Katsumata, Kazuma Sumi & Yuni), Channel D (Daisuke Sasaki) and Super P And The Space Bandits (Filipino wrestler Super P). So those might be the clues as to who else will be wrestling on the show.

7. Road To PETER PAN 2026! Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata defeated MAO & KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI) when Ueno submitted MAO with a Sleeper Hold (19:22).

It’s a little over two weeks until DDT graces Sumo Hall once again, this time for “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2026”. But before that could take place there were some things to settle in Korakuen Hall first. The Ryogoku main event got a preview today with Yuki Ueno and MAO on opposite sides of a tag match between The 37KAMIINA and Strange Love Connection. MAO & KANON tried to overwhelm Ueno with their square shaped powers but Shunma Katsumata was there to take KANON out of the picture with a Topé con Hilo. MAO went to seal the deal by giving Ueno the Michinoku Driver II but missed the Cannonball 450°. Ueno switched his gameplan to getting MAO into a Sleeper Hold whether it was catching him Blackout style or keeping a grip on him with a Body Scissors. Ueno’s relentless hold of the move kept MAO from escaping and he eventually had to tap out to the KO-D Openweight Champion.

When the match was over Ueno took the microphone and said MAO still has a long way to go. He remembers when MAO left The 37KAMIINA and fought him for the KO-D Title at Sumo Hall two years ago. Back then he thought MAO was shining so brightly he would soar to the global stage and blow the whole world away. In the two years since then, Ueno has wondered if MAO could ever become the champion who can lead DDT to the Tokyo Dome. The upcoming title match should be the most important and exciting thing that has ever happened to MAO so Ueno wants him to show the most dazzling brilliance he’s ever had on 11th August. Backstage Ueno said that MAO needs to be more fiery because he hasn’t been as passionate as he was back when he was in The 37KAMIINA. However, MAO said backstage that since he left the unit he’s cut down on drinking, given up eating ramen and has become more disciplined. He is still edgy but now he has matured a bit. Everything he’s been doing is so he can beat Ueno for the KO-D Title!

Well, Yuki Ishida has been saying for weeks how much he wants to change and he got what he wanted in the end. He wagered his hair to get a shot at the DDT Extreme Title held by Hideki Okatani and… er… he doesn’t have his hair anymore. With his best effort Ishida blocked the Claymore kick, Power Bombed Okatani and fought his way into finally hitting him with the Ensho but at the last second Okatani got his foot on the ropes to break the pin. Okatani then booted Ishida in the head over and over until he kept him down with the Claymore to win the match and claim Ishida’s hair. Okatani said after the match there is no way Ishida could beat him but he acknowledges his spirit. Ishida took it upon himself to cut his own hair and when he was finished, Okatani told him to not to forget this feeling. He also reminded Ishida the reason why he joined Harimao was because someone (Kazusada Higuchi) saw his potential so he should not give up here. When Ishida left, Hisaya Imabayashi asked Okatani who he wants to defend the Extreme Title against at Sumo Hall? There is only one man and that’s Shunma Katsumata! The two have previously fought each other for the title twice with Katsumata winning both times. Katsumata didn’t want to waste words and accepted the challenge with little else to say.

The tag team championship rivalry between FANTÔMES DRAMATIC and paleyouth that has gone on for the last month has ended in a stalemate. Fandora weren’t able to beat paleyouth for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles two weeks ago and paleyouth weren’t able to take the KO-D Tag Team Titles away from Fandora today. Yuya Koroku came prepared for HARASHIMA after the warm up matches they had leading up to today. He rolled backwards to avoid the Somato and trap HARASHIMA into an Armbar. He then got Takeshi Masada in so they could give HARASHIMA their double team finisher and although Chris Brookes was kept away from breaking the pin, HARASHIMA still kicked out of it. Koroku thought he had the match won when he landed a Moonsault Press but HARASHIMA suddenly turned the pin into an Armbar submission of his own, surprising Koroku and making him tap out to grab victory from the jaws of defeat. After the match Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki both approached the champions to ask them for a title match at Sumo Hall. HARASHIMA said he would take a challenge from anyone at anytime so they will get it.

The masked dancer Kumadori was getting some attention online in the last week with highlights of his DDT matches gaining traction on social media. He didn’t waste time showing his agility in the ring alongside Kazuma Sumi but the pace changed once Daichi Sato and Kazuki Hirata tagged in. To-y attempted some high flying of his own with the T.O.Y. Diving Cross Body but nobody was there to catch him. Hirata wanted to try the same move (he calls it H.R.T) but his legs buckled from the pressure of standing on the top rope. To-y at least got some momentum back by pulling Soma Takao’s t-shirt over his face and Machine Gun Chopping his bare chest in the corner. Even though Takao was blinded by the shirt, To-y still missed another T.O.Y. dive when Takao walked out of harm’s way. Hirata rallied his team to literally run circles around Kumadori but when it was time to put on the Hirata GO! Glasses, Kumadori kicked him away and put on his own pair! The two fought past everyone else to dance with each other until Hirata got Kumadori with a cheap shot. Kumadori stopped Hirata in his tracks to make him dance more but it was only so he could roll up Hirata in a School Boy and pin him for the victory.

Ilusion recently introduced his own version of the Right To Challenge Gauntlet to use on existing Gauntlet holders but ended up losing it to Rukiya. So now Ilusion was on the hunt to win one of the regular Gauntlets currently held by Viento Levante. Speaking of Levante, his focus is on winning the KO-D 6-Man Tag Titles with SLC at Sumo Hall. Having a Gauntlet for a KO-D Title shot is just a bonus for him at the moment. Ilusion & Daisuke Sasaki attacked Levante & Yukio Naya before the bell. They also had MJ Paul at ringside interfering for DAMNATION T.A unlike KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI who were both there for SLC. However Levante dodged a chair attack from Suzuki and Naya stopped DAMNATION T.A from further using the weapon. Naya then Choke Slammed Ilusion into position for Levante to do the Diving Headbutt and win the match. Backstage Levante promised he will not cash in his Gauntlet until after “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2026”. He is tempted to steal the glory from MAO that night but is thinking about cashing in somewhere else afterwards.

The (one-sided) rivalry between Sanshiro Takagi and Minoru Suzuki was brought back to the forefront but there is now going to be a twist in the tale. Before the match began, a camera backstage filmed Takagi complaining to the GM Imabayashi about not having a match booked for Sumo Hall yet. Imabayashi told him if he could win his match he would consider putting him on the card. Takagi had Danshoku Dieno as his tag partner to fight Suzuki & Jun Akiyama but that was not enough of an X factor to get him his desired result. Dieno almost lured Akiyama into the Danshoku Driver but he ended up getting the Exploder Suplex instead. Akiyama then held Dino in a Front Neck Lock and Dieno gave up when Takagi accidentally shoved is own face into Dieno’s backside while trying to escape a Manjigatame that Suzuki put him in. After the match Imabayashi told Takagi he won’t be wrestling at Sumo Hall but Suzuki says otherwise. Suzuki was actually impressed at how Takagi defended himself from the Manjigatame so he wants the two of them to team up at Sumo Hall! Imabayashi couldn’t refuse Suzuki’s idea and went to work with putting a match together. It was later revealed that Suzuki & Takagi will face Kazuki Hirata & To-y on the show.

Before the team up of Shinya Aoki and Junta Miyawaki happened, the two faced off against each other in a singles match first. The two went back and forth with holds and counters. At one point Aoki used the ropes to his advantage to tangle up Miyawaki but Miyawaki got some moments of control whether it was using an Osui Suplex Hold for a nearfall or a Cattle Mutilation to stretch out Aoki. He also hit the Sunshine Driver but Aoki kicked out of the pin. Miyawaki then went for the Sunshine Clutch but Aoki found a way to reverse it and get the three count out of nowhere. It was backstage after the match when Miyawaki caught up with Aoki telling him he wants to wrestle with him more. Aoki suggested the two of them chase after the KO-D Tag Titles which led to them making the challenge to Fandora later in the show.

The pre-show and the introduction had some major implications for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. During the dark match both Yuni and Rukiya felt like marked men with Yuni holding the Iron Man Title and Rukiya holding the RTC Gauntlet that can be cashed in on other Gauntlet holders. Hinata Kasai wanted to pin Yuni quickly to win the title but Naomi Yoshimura was there to throw both him around. Antonio Honda struggled to contain Yuni at points but had the wherewithal to block a Jacknife Pin and press himself down to get the three count and win the Iron Man Title. Both Masami Inahata and Rukiya tried to pin Honda after the match but Honda escaped the ring.

Honda would then reappear at ringside during the show opening announcements. Three members of The Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) were in the ring with Imabayashi at the time to promote Tokyo Joshi Pro’s upcoming appearances at the Tokyo Idol Festival. Honda tripped over the ropes on his way into the ring so he decided to tell The Up Up Girls his latest Gongitsune joke. Obviously his sense of humour isn’t appropriate for the idols so Miu Watanabe and Uta Takami both covered their ears. That made them defenceless so Honda got the both of them with Gongitsune eye pokes. Raku however countered him with a lullaby that sent both Honda and Imabayashu to sleep. She then quietly pinned Honda to become the latest Iron Man Champion! Remember that whoever enters the Iron Man Title Battle Royal at Sumo Hall as the defending champion will receive a bullet train travel pass for one year as their prize!
