Shin-Kiba 1st RING
269 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Jinbeizamen defeated Stanley Nakano with a Falcon Arrow (8:36).
2. Ryuichi Sekine & Daiki Shimomura defeated Nakatsu Dickinson & Abe Halford when Sekine submitted Halford with the Combine (11:32).
3. Ricky Fuji defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi with the 9999 (5:34).
4. Takumi Tsukamoto & Yuka Miyamoto defeated Yusuke Kubo & SAGAT when Tsukamoto pinned SAGAT with a Cradle (15:38).
5. Hardcore Match: Great Sasuke defeated FUMA with the Sasuke Special X Ver.10.2 (Imitation Prohibited) With TLC (24:31).

It was heavy metal galore in Shin-Kiba 1st RING for the second FUMA FEST show. Bands like Hellhound, Barbatos, Gotsu-Totsu-Kotsu, Black Sweet, Nihonto, Alice In Hell, Dragon’s Den and The Kandarivas all performed songs inbetween matches.

In the main event FUMA took on The Great Sasuke in a Hardcore Match. A ladder was laid down onto one of the bleachers for FUMA to do an Exploder Suplex onto. Sasuke got revenge by Power Bombing FUMA onto a table then Thunder Fire Bombing him onto a pile of chairs on top of the ladder. To finish it off Sasuke placed FUMA on the table, laid the chairs over him and stood the ladder beside him. Sasuke then hit the Sasuke Special X Ver.10.2 Missile Dropkick into the pile to get the three count.

FUMA thanked Sasuke for wrestling him today. He told Sasuke that he’s admired him for championing smaller wrestlers during the 90s and had been longing to wrestle him. FUMA took back what he said earlier this year when he accused Sasuke of blasphemy towards heavy metal for liking the band Anvil. FUMA now understands that Sasuke has had the heavy metal spirit inside him all along. Sasuke said “Hell yeah!” and they shook hands. FUMA then put his jacket on Sasuke and they sang together with the last rock performance from Hellhound. FUMA said FUMA FEST will definitely be coming back next year. As long as he is here, FUMA FEST is immortal!

Nakatsu Dickinson is Ryota Nakatsu acting like Bruce Dickinson. Abe Halford is Fuminori Abe acting like Rob Halford.

Former DNA wrestler Masato Kamino announced he signed a contract with BASARA on 1st December and will debut for the group on the 18th. Kamino didn’t get to wrestle much in DNA because he was plagued with knee injuries. At the time he was known for wearing a fancy ring jacket but he seems to have gotten rid of it.

Danshoku Dieno is also on the injury list. When his memory returned so to did all of his neck, shoulder and back problems. He is taking a few weeks off to get some rest.

Two firsts for Tokyo Joshi Pro are happening on this show. We’re getting a 4 Vs 4 Tokyo Joshi tag match for the first time. We are also getting a 1 Vs 16 match for the first time to celebrate Azusa Takigawa’s graduation. No further details yet have been given on how the match will work. Other companies have done special gauntlet matches for their retiring wrestlers in the past where every round only has a one minute time limit and the chosen wrestler goes through all opponents no matter how much they win, lose or draw. I guess it will be something similar here.

DDT “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI KORAKUEN HALL SPECIAL!!”, 28/10/2018
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Nobuhiro Shimatani Vs El Lindaman
2. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Time Difference Joshi Battle Royal: Yuki Arai (c) (w/ Makoto Oishi) Vs Saki Akai Vs Maki Itoh Vs Cherry Vs Emi Sakura Vs Yuki Kamifuku Vs Mizuki
3. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Soma Takao, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie (c) Vs CIMA, T-Hawk & Duan Yingnan
4. DDT Extreme Title – Wrestling Rules: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Shinya Aoki
5. Special Tag Match: Naomichi Marufuji & Konosuke Takeshita Vs Daisuke Sasaki & Shuji Ishikawa

The new KO-D Openweight Champion has been drinking non-stop in celebration since winning the title yesterday. Daisuke Sasaki doesn’t remember much about the last 24 hours because of this. His prize money is already gone because he recently spent 4 million yen on things including a brand new car. The prize money from the main event was 2 million yen by the way. Sasaki hopes his victory was enough to impress both Laura James and Candice LeRae. His first defence is confirmed to be against the Dramatic General Election winner at Korakuen Hall on 25th November.

Danshoku Dieno has not been seen or heard from since the ending of “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” when DAMNATION locked him into a coffin. Sasaki ordered Nobuhiro Shimatani to go burn it when the show was over. Dieno is not expected to appear at Korakuen this weekend.

With ALL OUT swept aside, STRONG HEARTS are sticking around in DDT so they can win a championship. CIMA’s goal is to become a champion one more time before he turns 41 at his next birthday. The group has chosen the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles as their target. CIMA, T-Hawk and Duan Yingnan will be the trio challenging DAMNATION in the match. T-Hawk said STRONG HEARTS share everything together. That is what makes them the strongest unit. Yingnan is hoping to bring a championship back to Shanghai. CIMA calls Konosuke Takeshita the standard of DDT. It is up to the rest of the DDT roster to prove they are better otherwise they will only disappoint CIMA. Tetsuya Endo admitted that Takeshita beating CIMA yesterday would have been a happy ending for all of DDT, except for Endo because he still hates Takeshita to death. All of the attention should now be on DAMNATION because of the championships they hold. Also Endo believes that Mad Paulie will be the key wrestler to watch when the match happens. This is all bringing back awkward memories for Soma Takao. Back when he was a college pro wrestler he was called BIMA and he was, yes you guessed it, a CIMA parody. Shimatani was more than happy to tell CIMA that over and over when the two teams met at today’s press conference. The letter B is above C for a reason according to Shimatani.

Shimatani’s posturing was quick to annoy El Lindaman. The two argued back and forth about their short heights until they were booked to face each other.

Makoto Oishi has offered to help SKE48 idol Yuki Arai defend her Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title in the Joshi Battle Royal. The reason is Oishi loves idols, especially ones named Arai. This must be fate! It’s enough for Arai to trust him at least. Maki Itoh is already upset with Arai because she never introduced herself to her, even though they only met today when Itoh stormed the conference. Itoh finds that disrespectful because she is Arai’s senior in the idol world.

Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Tiger Mask V (Self-Proclaimed) Vs Pero Pero Master
2. Eririn Takagi, Monster Halloween & ONAKIN Vs MEN’S Teioh, HARASHIMA & Shota

MEN’S Teioh was chosen by Sanshiro Takagi to be the executive chairman of the “ALL DOIN” committee. HARASHIMA is considered one of the strongest wrestlers in Japan’s independent scene so why not put him on the show celebrating independent wrestling? Shota also has a lot of experience in that section of the industry.

I’m not sure who Pero Pero Master (ぺろぺろ親方) is. Google isn’t offering much.

BASARA “FUMA FEST VOL.2 ~WRESTLE THRASHING MAD~”, 08/12/2018
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. FUMA Vs Great Sasuke

Something that has bothered FUMA for years was the period when The Great Sasuke came out to “Metal On Metal” by Anvil. That song isn’t heavy metal enough by FUMA’s standards so he wants to show Sasuke what real heavy metal is like!

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Yusuke Kubo and SAGAT are also booked on the show. Bands announced to perform include Dragon’s Den, Hellhound, Alice In Hell, Collar Bone, The Kandarivas and Black Sweet. Hellhound will perform “Warriors Of Rising Sun” live for FUMA’s ring entrance.

August 11, 2018

BASARA “BASARA 75 ~AKATSUKA ROKU-KASON~”, 11/08/2018
Tokyo Narimasu Act Hall
169 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Benmaru Tournament 0 – Round 1: Daiki Shimomura defeated Akiyori Takizawa with the Swanton Bomb (8:23).
2. Benmaru Tournament 0 – Round 1: Jun Masaoka defeated Takato Nakano with a Thrust Kick (8:10).
3. Takumi Tsukamoto, Daichi Kazato & Yasu Urano defeated FUMA, Yusuke Kubo & Gouma Ryu when Tsukamoto pinned Ryu with a Crab Hold (14:29).
4. Special Single Match: Isami Kodaka Vs Daisuke Sekimoto ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).
5. Sakigake! Iron Family Vs Bloody Brothers!: Masaya Takahashi, Toshiyuki Sakuda & Takayuki Ueki defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Trans-Am ★ Ryuji & SAGAT when Takahashi pinned SAGAT with the Jackhammer (15:14).
6. Cavalry Vs Astronauts!: Ryota Nakatsu & Ryuichi Sekine defeated Takuya Nomura & Fuminori Abe when Sekine submitted Abe with the Let’s Combine (17:16).

Cavalry were able to win the main event by having Ryuichi Sekine hold Fuminori Abe in place with a Full Nelson so Ryota Nakatsu could hit him with a High Kick to the head. Abe tried to recover and put Sekine in a Triangle Choke but it was countered into the Let’s Combine for the submission finish. Both of Cavalry admitted they felt jealous of Takuya Nomura after wrestling him, Nakatsu because of his skill and Sekine because he is handsome.

The Bloody Brothers weren’t sure what to make of Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Trans-Am ★ Ryuji. They asked each other “What are these people?” when they saw Hiroshi & Ryuji perform yoga in the ring. They were freaked out even more when Hiroshi woke up from his peaceful state during a Sleeper Hold spot and pulled scary faces at everyone.

Twenty minutes wasn’t enough to determine a winner between Isami Kodaka and Daisuke Sekimoto. The two shook hands after their match and teased having a rematch down the line.

Even though Gouma Ryu was the obvious weak link on his team, he still did his best and joined in with the IRON PRIEST spots when he could. He lost the match for his team but FUMA enthusiastically recognised the hard work he put in today. FUMA called it the birth of a new Heavy Metal Warrior. Yusuke Kubo didn’t see things the same way and said today’s result was disappointing. FUMA ignored Kubo and called Ryu a saviour. He then revealed that “FUMA FEST” will return for its second show on 8th December with Gouma Ryu’s law firm as the sponsor! He doesn’t even need permission because he already added the firm’s sponsor logo on the show poster.

Daiki Shimomura announced that with DNA taking a break he will now be wrestling for BASARA! He wrestled in a brand new black costume with some green and orange added to it to mark the new step in his career.
