Some of the tricks and treats you get for Halloween don’t always turn the way you want them to. Baka Gaijin + Friends brought in a former champion to challenge Mr. Malo for the BK-G Openweight Title. That former champion is Kazuki Hirata and any high hopes for him to dethrone the champion immediately fell apart. Malo easily distracted him, gave him a Low Blow and rolled him up with a School Boy to win in seconds. MAO then confronted Hirata after the match and complained to him in a manner like Hisaya Imabayashi, causing the match to be restarted. Malo distracted Hirata again, gave him another Low Blow and pinned him with another School Boy. Takayuki Ueki (who worked the show as the ring announcer and was dressed as Reze from Chainsaw Man) then did the complaining and the match restarted again. Same thing still happened. Mr. HAKU couldn’t help but shout from the camera spot and complain to Hirata for losing like this. Another restart happened but the same thing happened once more. Now Chie Koishikawa joined in the complaining and got another restart. Malo didn’t even need to distract Hirata this time, he just did a Low Blow and pinned him. Chris Brookes stormed out to yell at Hirata in both English and Japanese before granting one more restart. The same thing still happened but this time Brookes broke the pin and everyone ganged up on Malo. Hirata blew his spot though and Malo went back on the attack, going as far as to destroy the Hirata GO glasses. Suddenly Mr. Bueno appeared to cheer on Hirata and motivate him into making a comeback. He then pulled out an extra pair of Hirata GO glasses and placed them on Hirata to make him power up with his dance. His second wind was cut off when Malo handed him a small jack-o’-lantern filled with firecrackers, filling the room with sparks and small explosions coming from Hirata’s hands. Malo then rolled him up with a School Boy once more to win yet again.
More surprises were in store when an unadvertised Halloween Rumble took place after intermission. Munetatsu Nakamura set the stage for how weird it was going to get by entering the match dressed as a Labubu. Entrant #2 turned out to be Thai wrestler Jonathan Johnson acting like The Joker. MAO was the next entrant dressed as a large square wall. He gleefully stood in the way of the fans to block their view while being impervious to his opponents’ attacks. Kota Ibushikoshi entered dressed as a schoolgirl but MAO escaped from his own costume to pin him with a Running Knee Strike for the first elimination. Next entrant was Chie Koishikawa in a shark costume running around biting everyone. Sayaka dressed as Haku from Spirited Away calmed her down by offering her a rice ball. Koishikawa ate it and felt full enough to take a nap. Everyone else pushed MAO on top of her and then piled on for the pin. Things took a turn when Ram Kaichow ran into the room dressed as Chucky and stabbed Sayaka with a machete! That was enough for a three count and Sayaka was out. The final entrant then appeared. It was Antonio Honda as Pero Pero Oyakata, his tribute gimmick to Hulk Hogan. He ripped off his vest but felt so cold in the room that he wanted to quit. But first he wanted to tell a Gongitsune story and then poked everyone in their eyes. MAO tipped over and fell so he was easily pinned. Oyakata then used the Pero Pero Driver (set up like the Pedigree but he swivels his hips to snap his opponent’s neck) to eliminate Johnson and Nakamura. The match slowed down when he tried to use the move on Kaichow. She escaped and with an upward swing, struck Oyakata between the legs with her machete. That put him down for the count and Kaichow won the Rumble.
Mr. Bueno decided to wrestle his match wearing an inflated sumo wrestler costume for his match against Kota Sekifuda. He also decided his sumo name is Takatoriki Jr. (Takatoriki being Yukio Naya’s father). The two briefly fought their way out of the room. Bueno returned first and expected to win by countout but Sekifuda returned wearing his own inflated sumo costume! They wrestled sumo style until Bueno tried to climb onto the bar counter for a high flying attack. Except when he was ready to do it, Sekifuda pulled out a living snake from his costume! He used the snake to scare Bueno back down to the floor so he could wrap the snake around his neck. Bueno escaped and physically forced Sekifuda to hand the snake away to Daisuke Kiso. Sekifuda climbed onto some stools to do his own dive but Bueno acted like he had a snake of his own hidden in his costume. Sekifuda didn’t fall for it but Bueno still blocked his dive and used an Inside Cradle to get the win.
In the opening match Brookes was dressed like one of the Baseball Furies from The Warriors. His opponent K4PY was dressed in a schoolgirl outfit, a decision that led to a few wardrobe malfunctions as the match progressed. Brookes found a fan dressed like one of The Brahman Brothers and got them to do the rubber band spot from across the room. Brookes ended up winning by giving K4PY the Praying Mantis Bomb, almost damaging something from the ceiling in the process.

9. Hardcore 6-Man Tag: Chris Brookes, MAO & Ryuichi Sekine defeated Dark King Ueki, Munek & Princess Ram when MAO pinned Munek with the Package Piledriver through a Table (?:??).
Hi, it’s me from the future again. Just like with the first “FUCKED UP FEST” I got the DVD and can finally write up the results of this show two months after it happened. The main event featured interference when Ueki’s Magic Kingdom summoned Megalodon Masuda to attack the other team. MAO called upon Tyrannosaurus Morozumi to rescue them but the dinosaur ended up attacking both teams. Shunma Katsumata then saved the day by attacking both monsters with a bundle of skewers, puncturing their costumes. His thanks for saving the day was Dark King Ueki breaking a plastic box over his head. Princess Ram Power Bombed Chris Brookes through a plastic box with the help from her teammates but Ryuichi Sekine broke the pin. A table was brought out and Ueki used the magic wand to cast a spell on MAO. However Brookes stopped Ueki and snapped the wand in half. A recovered MAO was then able to put Munek through a table with a Package Piledriver to win the match.
Takeshi Masada was about to beat Gabai Ji-chan with the Masada no Chikara KOBU Mukimuki but Antonio Honda yelled at him to take it easy on his opponent so the old man wouldn’t get injured. Masada did what Honda said and performed his finisher slow and gently. But that meant the move had no effect and Ji-chan quickly tried to Cradle Masada for a nearfall. He then went for a Hurricanrana but Masada blocked the move and countered it into a Crab Hold to make Ji-chan submit. Masada lost his temper and kept Ji-chan in the submission hold after the match until he calmed down and let go.
All members of the band Daisetz were present for the Triple Threat match involving the three wrestlers in their group. Antonio Honda went a little crazy using Gongitsune. After he hit Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi with the move, he missed Hagane Shinno and accidentally hit one of the band members instead. The masked member got revenge by Dropkicking Honda and giving him a Kneeling Danshoku Driver (it wasn’t Danshoku Dieno under the mask). Shinno then did a Standing Moonsault on Honda and pinned him.
MAO and K4PY kept drinking beer during their match and would constantly strike each other in the stomach until one of them spat their beer out. MAO won that battle then used his Shikaku powers to withstand K4PY’s attacks. However K4PY eventually broke through MAO’s defences and got him to spit out his beer. MAO had to do a somersault dive from the stage to put L4PY in danger and then hit a Running Palm Strike to get the win.
During Match #5 Megalodon Masuda ended up having a wardrobe malfunction revealing that it was a human wearing a shark costume this whole time. Kota Ibushikoshi then disappeared only to run back into the room wearing a T-Rex outfit to launch a surprise attack on Ashikoki Saiko. He was stripped out of the costume too but he went on to win the match anyway.
The Munetatsu Nakamura versus Tatsuhiko Yoshino match broke out into song halfway through when Nakamura decided to go onto stage and sing for everyone. Yoshino tried to take the microphone from him but couldn’t. As the match went on, both of them sneezed so hard that the back of their trunks both fell down. Yoshino tried to strip Nakamura completely but Nakamura reversed the position and succeeded in pulling Yoshino’s trunks completely down instead. Yoshino kept trying to fight while hiding his shame and even used a Rolling Cradle for a nearfall but Nakamura reversed that to get the three count.
The Brahman Brothers brought along Karate Brahman to give them the numbers advantage against Mr. Malo & Mr. Bueno. To even the odds, Bueno said he had a friend to help him out. He called over Kota Sekifuda but he isn’t the friend he was talking about. Sekifuda brought out a sack and pulled a living snake out of it! Karate Brahman decided to fight the snake and dared Sekifuda to place it in his trunks. He later had some kind of rotten paste accidentaly rubbed on his face by the other Brahmans, leading Bueno to roll him up for the win while trying to withstand the smell.
Bunbun took part in some interference for the opening match, slightly helping Chris Brookes to beat up Kota Sekifuda. However Sekifuda brought out a ladder and did a Frog Splash from the top of it. Unfortunately for him, Brookes blocked it with his knees and kept pressuring him with moves until he pinned him with the Praying Mantis Bomb. The two shared beers after the match.
Former DDT ring announcer Ken Kato worked the role for this show. He was fired from DDT in February 2024 and as far as I know had only worked a couple of wrestling related gigs since then.

4. Special Tag Team Match: Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei (w/ Karate Brahman) defeated Great King Ueki & Munek when Shu & Kei pinned Munek with the Gotai Fumanzoku (?:??).
This is what happens when somebody wants the most complete Brahman Brothers experience. Fans in ARENA Shimokitazawa were warned in advance to cover themselves with ponchos and protect their valuables for the main event because Baka Gaijin + Friends could not promise to protect them from The Brahmans in any way, shape or form. Great King Ueki & Munek weren’t intimidated by the warnings because they were more concerned over their plan to kidnap another princess. They got a woman in the crowd to step into their magical chamber (i.e stand behind the bar) and become their prisoner. This turn of events meant The Brahman Brothers were in fact the unlikely heroes coming to save the day! They were even accompanied by Karate Brahman in a rare public appearance.
The rescue attempt devolved into mayhem in quick fashion. Munek summoned an invisible wall to block his opponents but The Brahmans found a way to spray water passed it. They then proceeded to drench the venue with bottles and buckets of water while brawling with the other team. They opened up space in the room to do their bowling ball into the suitcase spot but Munek did his own magical version in return. That was when Karate Brahman unleashed his secret weapon. He stuck some fireworks up his nose, stripped down to his underwear and started singing while the other Brahmans lit up the fireworks! Ueki then sprayed him with a fire extinguisher which somehow caused Karate to join his side. Ueki stole the black ink from The Brahmans and used it to spit Poison Mist but he missed his target and blinded Karate by accident. The Brahmans then filled a plate with pizza sauce and threw it at Ueki, missing him and hitting Karate in the butt with it instead. Ueki pulled out more fireworks but Munek got pulled in the way of the blast. Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei then rolled up Munek in their Crucifix/Jackknife Pin combo to get the win. Karate Brahman tried to profess his love to the princess that was rescued but he was rejected.
In a much more tame affair, Mr. Malo defended the BK-G Openweight Title against Antonio Honda. The challenger was outmatched by Malo’s holds and had to grab random fans by the head to initiate rope breaks. Once Honda found his groove Malo resorted to cheating. However Honda had him scouted and blocked a Low Blow to keep control of the match. Malo turned things around my deflecting Gongitsune into hitting Daisuke Kiso. He grabbed a beer bottle but Honda took it from him. A recovered Kiso stopped Honda from using it as a weapon, accidentally making him drop it to the ground where it was smashed into pieces! Malo took advantage by giving Honda a Low Blow when Kiso couldn’t see it and he then won by doing the Unprettier onto the broken pieces of the bottle.
Mr. Bueno thought he was ready for a martial arts fight with Fuminori Abe but he was quickly kicked to the floor when the match began. Then as they fought back and forth Bueno wanted to know more about his opponent and asked for his name. When Abe answered him, Bueno confused him for Hiroshi Abe which made Fuminori mad. Bueno then kept confusing him for other famous Abe’s but when he introduced himself, Abe kept thinking his name was Ueno. Later Abe trapped Bueno in the Manjigatame and demanded he say his name right. Bueno fought out of it but when he wound up in the move again he tapped out.
The opening contest was designed to be one team of Chris Brookes & MAO taking on another team of Chris Brookes & MAO. Except the actual MAO was nowhere to be seen. Brookes instead teamed with Sakaya who tried her best to fill the square shaped hole that MAO left behind. The two were also accompanied by Bunbun. Facing them were Chie Koishikawa who was acting like Brookes and Kota Ibushikoshi who was acting like MAO. The two of them were joined by by Fukafuka, a hammerhead shark toy who looked identical to Chie’s usual shark toy Hanma-san. Both Bunbun and Fukufuka were tied to the rubber band for that spot and slingshotted into the wrestlers. The two MAO lookalikes tried to replicate the real thing but needed help to do so. Brookes had to lift up Sayaka and flip her around to make it look like she was doing a Moonsault for example. Also thanks to a slap from the real Brookes, Sayaka was able to roll up Ibushikoshi in the Cake Roll to get the win.
After a lengthy clean up the show ended with an announcement by Shin Suzuki. He will be producing his own show at TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi on 13th September called “STEEL HEART RUN” to celebrate the “10th (+1) Anniversary” of his debut. The +1 is because he’s one year off from when he actually debuted. He originally wanted to face Masahiro Takanashi in the main event but that is not currently possible so Brookes volunteered to be Suzuki’s opponent instead. Suzuki agreed to i and just to prove he won’t take it lightly, he grabbed Brookes by the nose and knocked him off his feet!
The next Baka Gaijin + Friends show will take place on 1st July. Brookes also announced that “FUCKED UP FEST 2” will take place at Tokyo BASEMENT MONSTAR later this year.

1. Mikan Cassidy defeated Antonio Honda with the Mikan Punch (15:14).
2. Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Mad Dr. Ueki & Mecha Mummy when Takanashi pinned Mummy with a School Boy (12:54).
3. SWS Hardcore Title: Munetatsu Nakamura defeated Kota Ibushikoshi (c) with the Michinoku Driver II (9:51). *Munetatsu Nakamura becomes the 173rd SWS Hardcore Champion!
4. Bonus Track: Chris Brookes & El Amigo defeated MAO & Mecha Mummy when Amigo pinned Mummy to prevent a Suicide Bombing (20:10).
No matches were advertised in advance of this month’s hangout with the Baka Gaijin + Friends. The Youtube feed only featured three matches with the third being announced as the main event. However after the feed cut off there turned out to be a bonus match featuring a new face. Or we can only assume it was a fresh face because it was obscured with a makeshift mask. A mysterious wrestler by the name of El Amigo showed up to team with Chris Brookes for a tag team free for all against MAO & Mecha Mummy. Amigo and MAO took the fight outside up above the glass roof of ARENA Shimokitazawa. They returned to the room and Amigo covered the place in fog with a fire extinguisher. The room was then at risk when Mummy looked like it was about to explode. Amigo grabbed Mummy with a hug and pinned it to the floor to get the three count. There were guesses online as to who El Amigo really is? El Desperado came out and revealed he is related to El Amigo. But he would like it if people do not tag him in pictures of his relative.
The match that was officially the main event was used as a spotlight for the future. Student pro wrestler Kota Ibushikoshi was back and he had the SWS Hardcore Title with him, ready to defend it in Baka Gaijin again. The challenger was Munetatsu Nakamura. In what could be the start of a new generational rivalry, Nakamura used the Michinoku Driver II to pin Ibushikoshi and win the SWS Hardcore Title! He was a little paranoid that other wrestlers would try to take the belt away from him during what seemed to be the show closing speech.
There was a conflict of interests in Match #2 because it was a tag match featuring all wrestlers who are currently attached to the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles. The tag match was CDK taking on Mad Dr. Ueki & Mecha Mummy. However Mummy thought it was teaming with CDK and had to be convinced by Ueki to stand by his side. Brookes struggled to fight against Mummy’s steel armour and heavy weight. But when Ueki missed a Falling Headbutt from a stool, Masahiro Takanashi came to his partner’s aid. His fight with Ueki then took a pause so they could sit and drink beer together inbetween throwing strikes at each other. Ueki ended up getting drunk and stripping out of his scientist costume to reveal he was wearing his police themed wrestling singlet underneath. He then pulled out a gun and held everyone in the room hostage. Mummy stopped him with a Rocket Punch, knocking him back to sobriety. It then attacked Takanashi with the Rocket Drill. Ueki order Mummy to hold Takanashi in place so he can throw the Rocket Fist at him. The plan backfired because Takanashi ducked, the fist hit Mummy and CDK rolled Mummy up with a School Boy to win the match. Ueki blamed Mummy for the loss and it sadly walked away carrying the drill in its hands.
Antonio Honda had an unexpected opponent in the opening bout. MAO walked out wearing a tye dye denim jacket and was introduced as Mikan Cassidy! His relaxed and lazy behaviour frustrated Honda as he just couldn’t figure his opponent out. Particularly how to pull his hands out of his pockets. Mikan proceeded to wrestled almost the entire match like that, only pulling his hands out to use his own version of Gongitsune against Honda’s. The tempo changed when Honda began singing while Mikan clicked his fingers to the beat. He then dodged the Bionic Elbow and hit Honda with the Mikan Punch to win the match.

1. Antonio Honda defeated Munetatsu Nakamura with a Cobra Clutch (?:??).
2. Masahiro Takanashi defeated Opanchu Ihashi with a School Boy (?:??).
3. SWS Hardcore Title: MAO defeated Kota Ibushikoshi (c) with the Michinoku Driver II (?:??). *MAO becomes the 167th SWS Hardcore Champion!
4. 2-On-1 Hardcore Match: Shunma Katsumata defeated Mad Dr. Ueki & Mecha Mummy when Katsumata pinned Mummy with the Totonou Splash (?:??).
-. SWS Hardcore Title – Drinking Match: Kota Ibushiko defeated MAO (c). *Kota Ibushikoshi becomes the 168th SWS Hardcore Champion!
Shunma Katsumata was allowed to come play inside ARENA Shimokitazawa for the latest Baka Gaijin + Friends show. He wanted to be part of a crazy match and when he was told Mecha Mummy would be his opponent, he wasn’t satisfied. That attitude came back to bite him in the ass because he was then told to fight Mummy & Mad Dr. Ueki in a Handicap Match under Hardcore rules! The scientist and his prize project attacked Katsumata with chairs, the Mecha Drill and staplers. But Katsumata got his own back and used the stapler on Ueki. The stapler usage continued back and forth until Katsumata brought out the box of Lego and spilled it all over the mat! He and Ueki kept slamming each other onto the Lego and then agreed to take off their boots and fight each other bare foot on the Lego! Ueki later took out a plastic bag, filled it with Lego and tried to suffocate his opponent with it. Instead Katsumata grabbed the bag, pulled it up Ueki’s foot and tied it up so he had to walk on the blocks whether he wanted to or not! Mummy hit Katsumata with the Rocket Punch to break up a pin. Katsumata gave Mummy a Death Valley Driver in response. He then rolled up both Mummy & Ueki up in the mat, climbed the bar and hit the Totonou Splash onto the pile, pinning Mummy beneath for the victory.
Since Baka Gaijin is the place for unusual matches to happen, MAO came up with an idea. Japan has a college club scene where college students get to enter the ring and come up with their own image of what pro wrestling is. These clubs often include impersonators of actual pro wrestlers. So today MAO wanted to fight his own impersonator! His opponent goes by the name Kota Ibushikoshi and he showed up with the SWS Hardcore Championship, a title that belongs to SWS Gakusei Pro Wrestling based in Teikyo University. He handed the belt to Daisuke Kiso and confirmed to Chris Brookes that the belt will be on the line! The student mimicked MAO’s clothing poses and attitude but couldn’t beat the original. MAO had become the new SWS Hardcore Champion but his reign did not last long. The belt is defended under Iron Man rules and Ibushikoshi luckily found a way to win it back. At the end of the show MAO wanted to drink a bear with Ibushikoshi but couldn’t because Ibushikoshi is too young to drink. They agreed to drink cola together instead and Brookes suddenly announced whichever of the two finished their drink first would be the SWS Hardcore Champion. Ibushikoshi drank his glass empty before MAO could and was rewarded back the belt.
Somebody who was allowed to drink and had lots of it was Masahiro Takanashi. He walked into the room drunk and in need of a nap right there on the middle of the mat. He went to lie down with a blanket and eyemask and before anyone knew it, everyone in the room was in his dreams. It quickly turned into a nightmare because something that looked like a mix between Gota Ihashi and Opanchu Usagi entered the room. It was Opanchu Ihashi! Takanashi had to fight him off using the help of both Kiso and Brookes. Kiso bounced off of Ihashi but a Jumping Knee from Brookes stunned the bunny so Takanashi could roll him up with a School Boy and win.
After an impressive match against Brookes last month, Munetatsu Nakamura was back in Baka Gaijin to take on Antonio Honda. During the match Honda’s trick knee went out again and he needed medical attention. Luckily his call for help was met by the sudden appearance of an anonymous doctor, presumably British, who entered the room to check on him. The doctor tried using limbwork to heal Honda but it didn’t seem to fix the problem. Instead Honda came up with a Gongitsune joke but his attack missed Nakamura and hit both Kiso and the doctor instead. Blinded by the misfire, the doctor grabbed Nakamura and put him in a Sleeper Hold. Honda then immediately put Nakamura in a Cobra Clutch to make him tap out.
The next Baka Gaijin show will be on 27th February.
