There she met Genichi Mitsuhashi, the first person to ever get a PhD for Ninja Studies in Mie University. She then spent the day training with him in his dojo. After learning some new techniques she was encouraged to visit a nearby Bishamonten shrine. When she walked inside the grounds she found a Oni mask and suddenly began to convulse after she picked it up. The footage ended there but allegedly Mitsuhashi found Toribami and sent her back to Tokyo. A short time later TJPW received a video from Mitsuhashi of Toribami falling into a trance after the convulsions and then unmasking herself before walking behind one of the shrines, leaving her mask behind…

Sanshiro Takagi will be at the show to reveal the new idol he scouted for a match at Sumo Hall.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. 27: THE NIGHT THEY CAME HOME”, 13/01/2026
Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Special Single Match: Chris Brookes defeated Shota with the Daisuke Kiso assisted Hair Of The Dog (?:??).
2. Special Single Match: Tokyo Ganesha defeated Princess Ram with a Modified Cradle (?:??).
3. “Mr. Bueno” (MAO) & Mr. Malo defeated HARASHIMA & Antonio Honda when Malo pinned Honda after a Full Nelson/Codebreaker Combo (?:??).
4. Special Handicap Match: Jun Kasai defeated Dark King Ueki & Munek when Kasai pinned Ueki & Munek with the Cross-Arm Stimulation (?:??).

It’s back to business as usual inside ARENA Shimokitazawa, which means Baka Gaijin + Friends providing unexpected treats for the packed bar room. After the supposed main event had finished, Ueki’s Magic Kingdom interrupted Chris Brookes to complain about not being booked for the shot. As punishment Dark King Ueki & Munek “imprisoned” Brookes, HARASHIMA & Antonio Honda behind the bar (which just meant they had easier access to the drinks) in an attempt to take over Baka Gaijin for themselves. However they did not expect Jun Kasai to come to the rescue! He challenged Ueki & Munek to a Handicap Match. In a battle of chairs, keyboards and plastics boxes filled with firecrakcers Kasai got the win by Piledriving Munek on top of Ueki before pinning them both.

After the match Kasai “freed” FANTÔMES DRAMATIC and revealed that he too is a member of the group! Brookes corrected him and said it is his son Hinata Kasai who is a member of Fandora and they don’t have room to add anyone else from his family. Jun understood the mistake and explained when he read on Twitter that FANTÔMES DRAMATIC were on the show today, he saw the name Kasai in the tweets and assumed it meant himself. That is why he came over today. However he doesn’t want to step on his son’s toes and decided he won’t join the unit after all. Honda assured Jun that Hinata is a wonderful human being and he will be looked after in Fandora.

Something was off about Mr. Bueno’s appearance today. He was here to team up with his brother Mr. Malo to fight HARASHIMA & Honda but his mask looked an awful lot like MAO in facepaint. He was in a good mood though and spoke English throughout the match so it was undeniably Mr. Bueno. He & Malo attacked Honda with their gloves and poncho but the same glove slaps had no effect on HARASHIMA. “Bueno” threw himself in HARASHIMA’s path to stop him from doing the Somato to Malo, then knocked him out with a distraction punch. Malo then revealed he had secretly switched his tecnico white mask back to his rudo black one and he gave Low Blows to the other team. He and his brother then finished off Honda for the victory.

A new friendly presence arrived in Baka Gaijin. The masked wrestler Tokyo Ganesha was happy to meet so many new people, among them was his opponent Princess Ram. She yelled into his ears and pulled his trunk. He tried to playfully fight back before losing his cool and throwing a hard Chop at Ram’s chest. Ganesha then tried to calm things down by picking up Ram to carry her through the crowd of fans. Ram then poured a drink over Ganesha’s head to make him lose his temper. She put up a tough fight, finding ways to counter his moves until he found a counter of his own for the Rainmaker, sweeping Ram onto her back with a roll up to get the win. Ganesha was happy with how his Baka Gaijin debut went and he gave Shin Suzuki a big hug on his way to the back.

The opening match between Brookes and Shota had other people dragged into it. Brookes brought in a couple of fans to slam them on top of Shota. He got a taste of his own medicine when Shota and a fan reversed a Brainbuster together. When the fight went back to being one on one, Shota kicked out of a Piledriver and climbed the bar counter to go high risk. Brookes used his knees to block a Diving Body Press and then used a bumpy moment with Daisuke Kiso to Mule Kick Shota below the belt. Shota got his own back when Brookes accidentally knocked out Kiso with a Chop but that meant Kiso wasn’t able to count the pinfall afterward. Kiso then became used as a weapon by both wrestlers as they tried forcing him to do double team moves. It ended with Kiso unintentionally giving Shota a Crucifix Pin while Brookes rolled over both of them to cradle Shota with a bridge. Kiso decided to count the pin from that position even though he was helping Brookes pin down Shota at the time.

The next Baka Gaijin + Friends show will be held in ARENA Shimokitazawa on 24th February.

7. Mr. Bueno & MAO defeated Chris Brookes & Zack Sabre Jr. when Bueno pinned Brookes with a Diving Body Press from the human pyramid (?:??).

Let’s give it up for Chris Brookes making it to 18 years in the wrestling business! Let’s give it up to Baka Gaijin + Friends for making it to three years too. The third anniversary for this island of misfit toys was held away from the usual home of ARENA Shimokitazawa. They went for a bigger room this time by going to Shinjuku FACE but still held the show without a ring to keep it as the genuine article.

The main event was Brookes taking on someone who was kept a mystery to the fans until it was time for his entrance. It was Zack Sabre Jr.! The name of the bout was “A Match Of Hate?” and the two showed no mercy to each other by fighting amongst the crowd. Sabre’s close friend Antonio Honda had no choice but to do the rubber band spot to him while Brookes also dropped a child onto Sabre’s prone body afterwards. Sabre got some of his own licks in by Back Body Dropping Brookes onto the venue’s counter before bringing him back to the centre of the room to further pick Brookes apart. The two continued to go back and forth until Brookes gave Sabre the Praying Mantis Bomb and the bell rang to signal a time limit draw.

The action didn’t stop there because after the match MAO interrupted Brookes on the microphone and started arguing with him. Mr. Bueno ran down to bring peace but was left insulted when Sabre told him to fuck off. Everyone then started telling each other to fuck off until MAO & Bueno agreed to fight Brookes & Sabre, starting an impromptu bonus tag match! More chaotic brawling followed and screeched to a halt when Sabre tripped over the mat and hurt his knee. Honda got on the microphone to tell a Gongitsune joke only for MAO to stop him. MAO then summoned all of the other wrestlers on the show to lead a train attack at Sabre seated in the remains of the front row. That ended when Minoemon stopped himself in front of Sabre to tell him he was Minoru Suzuki in disguise! The two hugged and launched a counter attack on everyone, Brookes included. Their rampage was stopped with a fire extinguisher attack from Takagi Sanshirobo, which then resulted in Takayuki Ueki & Munetatsu Nakamura entering the room as cops. They suddenly held everyone at gunpoint threatening to shut the show down. MAO disarmed Nakamura but tragedy struck during the scramble to get the other gun from Ueki. Brookes succeeded in grabbing the gun but accidentally shot Sabre in the process! Brookes cradled the wounded Sabure in his arms until Sabre fainted. Out of desperation, Brookes charged the other team only to get knocked out by MAO’s Hurricane Kick. Bueno then threw Takeshi Masada on top of Brookes and ordered all of the other wrestlers to form a pyramid for him to climb. From the top of the pyramid, Bueno thanked the fans and jumped off to hit a Diving Body Press onto Masada and Brookes. He then pinned Brookes for the victory. After the match Brookes revived Sabre by pouring a can of beer into his mouth.

The stakes were high for the fated singles battle between Mr. Malo and Mr. Bueno. First, the BK-G Openweight Title held by Malo was on the line. Not only that but the loser of the match would have to unmask! Bueno had Malo’s cheating scouted yet respectfully kept allowing Malo to get back to his feet so they could fight on even terms. His good sportsmanship almost blew the match for him when Malo used the ref Daisuke Kiso to shield himself and then Low Blow his opponent after Kiso was thrown aside. But Bueno kicked out of a DDT and the Unprettier. He then got his momnentum back through a series of cradles that ended with him pinning Malo with a Hurricanrana to win the championship! Still, Bueno was too much of a good person to unmask his opponent afterwards, instead allowing Malo to take off the mask himself. Malo placed his poncho over his head and pulled the mask off. He then removed the poncho to reveal he is now wearing a white mask instead of his black on. Bueno couldn’t believe what he saw until he found the words to tell everyone what he was looking at… “My brother? I thought you died. I’m so happy!” The two brothers, now united, hugged to the applause of everyone in the room.

The Great Baka Mecha Wars couldn’t wait for all of the participants to be involved before it began. Mecha MAO and Takagi Sanshirobo immediately went to fight each other but soon the third fighter appeared. It was Minoemon, who as mentioned above was Minoru Suzuki disguised as the anime character Doraemon. He sat around with a bag of groceries, drinking beer and eating dorayaki until the other two robots attacked him. Minoemon and Sanshirobo brawled in the crowd while Mecha MAO stacked up some plastic cases and set out a table on top of them in the middle of the room. Mecha MAO and Sanshirobo then formed their own Megazord combination but it was all ruined when Minoemon poured water over the both of them. Mecha MAO short circuited around the room while Minoemon gave Sanshirobo the Gotch-Style Piledriver through the table and plastic cases to win the Mecha War.

The Brahman Brothers made a mess of their own with their match against Ueki’s Magic Kingdom. Things were made even worse when Karate Brahman decided to wipe natto all over his head. Dark King Ueki, Munek & Princess Ram all getting blinded with powder after that counts as a mercy killing in my book. I guess the damsel in distress who was kidnapped by the kingdom before the match was rescued as a result but it was anything but happy ever after.

Three members of the Daisetz band teamed up with one of their adoring fans in an 8-Man Tag Match. Chie Koishikawa was running around waving lightsticks for Antonio Honda, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Hagane Shinno during their entrance. Facing them were the international foursome of Baliyan Akki from India, Shivam & Jonathan Johnson from Thailand and Sayaka from Japan. The two sides ended up getting into a Bionic Elbow duel. Everything then broke down until the Egg Tart team of Shinno & Koishikawa double cradled Sayaka for the pinfall.

The show opened with Shunma Katsumata announcing a Baka Battle Royal full of surprise entrants. Fuminori Abe and HARASHIMA started things off then were quickly joined by Shota and K4PY. Then Kota Sekifuda appeared carrying a large snake! He chased the wrestlers into the crowd where Abe picked up a child to hold up near the snake. HARASHIMA forced Abe to apologise while Sekifuda continued scaring everyone with his pet, even making Yukinori Matsui tap out even though he wasn’t part of the match. HARASHIMA finally put a stop to things by putting Sekifuda in a Cobra Twist while the snake was twisting itself around Sekifuda. He gave up and was the first elimination from the match. Shota was the next one gone when he and Takeshi Masada fought over a Backslide Pin. Abe kicked Masada in the stomach, unintentionally helping him roll Shota over for the pinfall. Suddenly danger happened when Dr. Cube entered the Battel along with two Kaiju from his posse: Erebus & Eargernon II. Together they ran wild on the other wrestlers and eliminated Abe, Masada and K4PY all at once. HARASHIMA showed shades of HERO! in trying to fight Dr Cube’s Posse off but he too also fell to them. It was all up to Shin Suzuki to save the day as the final entrant. He grabbed Dr. Cube’s helmet and twisted it off, removing his grisly face beneath and knocking him out with a neck snap in the process. He then pinned Erebus with the Takatonic to fully eliminate the Posse, making him the last man standing.

1. Special Tag Team Match: Chris Brookes & Shikaku SAYA (w/ Bunbun) defeated Chie Brookes & Kota Ibushikoshi (w/ Fukafuka) when SAYA pinned Kota Ibushikoshi with the Roll Cake (?:??).
2. Special Single Match: Fuminori Abe defeated Mr. Bueno with the O-Manjigatame (?:??).
3. BK-G Openweight Title: Mr. Malo (c) defeated Antonio Honda with the Unprettier (?:??).
*V1 for Mr. Malo.
4. Special Tag Team Match: Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei (w/ Karate Brahman) defeated Great King Ueki & Munek when Shu & Kei pinned Munek with the Gotai Fumanzoku (?:??).

This is what happens when somebody wants the most complete Brahman Brothers experience. Fans in ARENA Shimokitazawa were warned in advance to cover themselves with ponchos and protect their valuables for the main event because Baka Gaijin + Friends could not promise to protect them from The Brahmans in any way, shape or form. Great King Ueki & Munek weren’t intimidated by the warnings because they were more concerned over their plan to kidnap another princess. They got a woman in the crowd to step into their magical chamber (i.e stand behind the bar) and become their prisoner. This turn of events meant The Brahman Brothers were in fact the unlikely heroes coming to save the day! They were even accompanied by Karate Brahman in a rare public appearance.

The rescue attempt devolved into mayhem in quick fashion. Munek summoned an invisible wall to block his opponents but The Brahmans found a way to spray water passed it. They then proceeded to drench the venue with bottles and buckets of water while brawling with the other team. They opened up space in the room to do their bowling ball into the suitcase spot but Munek did his own magical version in return. That was when Karate Brahman unleashed his secret weapon. He stuck some fireworks up his nose, stripped down to his underwear and started singing while the other Brahmans lit up the fireworks! Ueki then sprayed him with a fire extinguisher which somehow caused Karate to join his side. Ueki stole the black ink from The Brahmans and used it to spit Poison Mist but he missed his target and blinded Karate by accident. The Brahmans then filled a plate with pizza sauce and threw it at Ueki, missing him and hitting Karate in the butt with it instead. Ueki pulled out more fireworks but Munek got pulled in the way of the blast. Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei then rolled up Munek in their Crucifix/Jackknife Pin combo to get the win. Karate Brahman tried to profess his love to the princess that was rescued but he was rejected.

In a much more tame affair, Mr. Malo defended the BK-G Openweight Title against Antonio Honda. The challenger was outmatched by Malo’s holds and had to grab random fans by the head to initiate rope breaks. Once Honda found his groove Malo resorted to cheating. However Honda had him scouted and blocked a Low Blow to keep control of the match. Malo turned things around my deflecting Gongitsune into hitting Daisuke Kiso. He grabbed a beer bottle but Honda took it from him. A recovered Kiso stopped Honda from using it as a weapon, accidentally making him drop it to the ground where it was smashed into pieces! Malo took advantage by giving Honda a Low Blow when Kiso couldn’t see it and he then won by doing the Unprettier onto the broken pieces of the bottle.

Mr. Bueno thought he was ready for a martial arts fight with Fuminori Abe but he was quickly kicked to the floor when the match began. Then as they fought back and forth Bueno wanted to know more about his opponent and asked for his name. When Abe answered him, Bueno confused him for Hiroshi Abe which made Fuminori mad. Bueno then kept confusing him for other famous Abe’s but when he introduced himself, Abe kept thinking his name was Ueno. Later Abe trapped Bueno in the Manjigatame and demanded he say his name right. Bueno fought out of it but when he wound up in the move again he tapped out.

The opening contest was designed to be one team of Chris Brookes & MAO taking on another team of Chris Brookes & MAO. Except the actual MAO was nowhere to be seen. Brookes instead teamed with Sakaya who tried her best to fill the square shaped hole that MAO left behind. The two were also accompanied by Bunbun. Facing them were Chie Koishikawa who was acting like Brookes and Kota Ibushikoshi who was acting like MAO. The two of them were joined by by Fukafuka, a hammerhead shark toy who looked identical to Chie’s usual shark toy Hanma-san. Both Bunbun and Fukufuka were tied to the rubber band for that spot and slingshotted into the wrestlers. The two MAO lookalikes tried to replicate the real thing but needed help to do so. Brookes had to lift up Sayaka and flip her around to make it look like she was doing a Moonsault for example. Also thanks to a slap from the real Brookes, Sayaka was able to roll up Ibushikoshi in the Cake Roll to get the win.

After a lengthy clean up the show ended with an announcement by Shin Suzuki. He will be producing his own show at TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi on 13th September called “STEEL HEART RUN” to celebrate the “10th (+1) Anniversary” of his debut. The +1 is because he’s one year off from when he actually debuted. He originally wanted to face Masahiro Takanashi in the main event but that is not currently possible so Brookes volunteered to be Suzuki’s opponent instead. Suzuki agreed to i and just to prove he won’t take it lightly, he grabbed Brookes by the nose and knocked him off his feet!

The next Baka Gaijin + Friends show will take place on 1st July. Brookes also announced that “FUCKED UP FEST 2” will take place at Tokyo BASEMENT MONSTAR later this year.

1. Masahiro Takanashi & MAO Takanashi defeated Mr. Bueno & Chie Koishikawa when Takanashi & Takanashi both pinned Bueno with the Double Bacchus (?:??).
2. Dr. Cube & Mecha Mummy defeated Mad Dr. Ueki & Shin Suzuki when Mummy submitted Ueki with the Mecha Drill Grind (?:??).
3. Mr. Malo defeated Munetatsu Nakamura with the Killswitch (?:??).
4. Minoru Suzuki defeated Antonio Honda with the Gotch-Style Piledriver (?:??).

With no matches announced beforehand, nobody knew what to expect with this month’s visit to Baka Gaijin + Friends. The show looked like it was even going to finish early when Chris Brookes gathered everyone together after Match #3 to begin the closing speeches. Antonio Honda interrupted him complaining about not having a match on the show. Brookes admitted he forgot to book something for him. Honda demanded a match and came up with an idea. He has experience in fighting invisible men so his opponent will be Invisible Minoru Suzuki! Honda behaved like Suzuki was walking in front of him performing his entrance, unaware that the real Minoru Suzuki entered the room in his gear and stood behind him ready to wrestle! Honda turned around as the fans sang “Kaze Ni Nare” and collapsed in shock at the sight of Suzuki.

The match began and Honda tried to take control by Chopping Suzuki only to get Chopped in return. The trade-offs continued until Honda change things up by grabbing a flower and exchanging wrist locks with his opponent without dropping it. Suzuki then grabbed Honda in a Headlock and dragged him over to the window where he tried to throw him out of the building! Honda escaped and backed away from the window but Suzuki then attacked him with a coat hanger and then threw him into the front row of stools. Honda tried fighting back but was overwhelmed by Suzuki’s attacks. He got a lucky break by ducking a Clothesline causing Suzuki to slam his arm off the wooden pillar in the room. He summoned Gongitsune to start his comeback leading into the two of them winding up for a Bionic Elbow spot. Honda caught Suzuki in the Sleeper Hold and took him down to the ground. He climbed the bar counter and did the Diving Fist Drop but Suzuki got out of the way and hit the Gotch-Style Piledriver for the win. Honda wanted to keep fighting after the match but Suzuki slapped him to the ground. However Suzuki showed respect to Honda afterwards and allowed him to close out the show with a speech.

A new masked luchador has shown up in Baka Gaijin and he is described as somebody who is the opposite of Mr. Bueno. The wrestler known as Mr. Malo spent a lot of his match against Munetatsu Nakamura singling out women in the audience so he could gift them with a flower. One of those women was Sayaka from ChocoPro. But whenever the ref’s back was turned, Malo gave Nakamura a Low Blow. He also grabbed Sayaka and used her to distract the ref so he could smash a tequila bottle over Nakamura’s head before pinning him with the Killswitch. Mr. Bueno came out to check on Nakamura after the match.

Mad Dr. Ueki was feeling despondent today over what happened at “FUCKED UP FEST” last month. His prized robot Mecha Mummy was taken away by Dr. Cube and reprogrammed to do the evil kaiju’s bidding. Ueki called out Mummy to confront him and Mummy entered the room with Dr. Cube next to him! Cube bragged about what he did and ordered Mummy to destroy Ueki right away. Mummy attacked but Ueki was suddenly rescued by the ring announcer Shin Suzuki! He didn’t want to stand by and watch Ueki get ganged up on so he decided they should do a tag match instead. Ueki tried to reason with Mummy by reminding it of all the good times they had together but Mummy continued to attack him. Ueki pulled out his police gun and shot Mummy but the bullet ricocheted off its chest and hit Suzuki instead! Cube’s, well, cube protected his head like a helmet until Ueki pulled it off to reveal his horribly scarred face. But Mummy stopped Ueki by attacking him with the Mecha Drill, grinding it against Ueki’s face until he tapped out. Cube & Mummy continued to attack Ueki and then Cube promoted the Kaiju Big Battel show happening in Shin-Kiba 1st RING on 10th October. When they left Ueki was so upset that he decided to wipe out his memories of being a Mad Doctor and staggered out of the room.

The first match was a tag match between two teams of doubles. Mr. Bueno was joined by Chie Koishikawa who dressed and behaved just like he did. The other team had MAO not only teaming with Masahiro Takanashi but impersonating him too right down to the promo style. Bueno & Koishikawa were perhaps too identical. They both climbed the bar counter and then banged their heads off the ceiling by standing up too tall. MAO & Takanashi took advantage and both used Takanashi’s Bacchus cradle to pin Bueno for the three count.

Wrestling commentator Haruo Murata was in attendance for the show and decided to join in with Mr. HAKU’s play-by-play on stream during the middle of the main event.

The next Baka Gaijin + Friends show will be held on 29th October.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. TEN: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY”, 12/12/2023
Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa
??? Fans

1. Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno defeated Masahiro Takanashi with La Magistral Cradle Cutback (?:??).
2. Special Single Match: Mad Dr. Ueki defeated Shigehiro Irie with a School Boy (?:??).
3. Special Single Match: MAO Vs Ram Kaichow ended in a No Contest (?:??).
4. Special Single Match: Chris Brookes defeated Munetatsu Nakamura with the Praying Mantis Bomb (?:??).

That year went by quickly. In the space of twelve months Chris Brookes has held 10 events in the small but packed ARENA Shimokitazawa with his friends of all shapes, sizes and origins. To celebrate one year with Baka Gaijin + Friends, Brookes decided to face a young wrestler who was just a fan back when Brookes first started wrestling in Japan. Munetatsu Nakamura got the full Baka Gaijin experience wrestling against Brookes. He was Body Slammed onto a front row of stools but also jumped off the bar counter to hit a Rolling Senton. Brookes took the match down to the mat with the Octopus Stretch, hit him with a short-range Somato and even did a Tombstone but Nakamura kept kicking out. He was finally put away with the Praying Mantis Bomb. After the match Masahiro Takanashi challenged Nakamura to a tag team bout at Gatoh Move on 10th January. Not only that but Takanashi also called over Taiwanese wrestler Gaia Hox to be Nakamura’s partner so the two of them can fight CDK together.

The main event was slightly delayed because everyone had to clean up after the mess MAO and Ram Kaichow made during their match against each other. MAO came out dressed in a ghostbusting uniform that did not infringe any copyrights. Despite Kaichow being the more paranormal presence of the two, MAO was arguably the weirder person. He mimicked other wrestlers and deflected Kaichow’s invisible shurikans at Daisuke Kiso, causing the ref to bleed out while Kaicow had what could have been the match winning pinfall. MAO also brought out a vaccum cleaner to suck in Kaichow but Kiso was used as a human shield. Kaichow threw ectoplasm powder at MAO but it did nothing thanks to the goggles he was wearing. With the fight at a standstill, both MAO and Kaichow grabbed fire extinguishers and used them against each other, filling the entire room in a cloud of CO2! It was so chaotic that the match had to be called off and the mat had to be hoovered.

Mad Dr. Ueki pulled off an upset against Shigehiro Irie. There was barely enough room on the mat for the two to fight each other so they tried to hit the big moves early. Ueki then took out a syringe but it was knocked to the floor and stepped on, breaking it. Kiso got in the way trying to clear the pieces and all three people bumped into each other, causing Irie to swap bodies with Kiso! He did Irie’s moves like the Cannoball and Beast Bomber but Ueki kept kicking out and throwing Kiso into Irie to send their bodies back to normal. The situation finally fixed itself when Kiso and Irie ran into each other and accidentally kissed. Irie was back in his normal body but Ueki then immediately pinned him with a School Boy. Not only did Ueki win the match but he now has more data that can be used for Mecha Mummy!

One of the other first timers on today’s show was Yuki Ueno. The current KO-D Openweight Champion was given a match with Takanashi and all of the dirty tricks he knows in an environment such as this. He tricked Ueno into calling a toast and then attacked him from behind. He also forced Ueno to drink a full glass of beer before dragging him around the room and throwing him head first into a wooden pillar. Ueno eventually found his footing and adapted to his new surroundings. He did a handstand on a stool, the ceiling bar and also leap frogged the referee to elevate his moves. Takanashi however blocked a Diving Body Press from the bar counter and tried to get the win with cradle pins. That backfired when Ueno blocked La Magistral Cradle and pressed down Takanashi’s shoulders to get the three count and the victory.

Shin Suzuki was the ring announcer today. Chie Koishikawa also did some microphone duties while Antonio Honda did a musical performance during intermission.

The next Baka Gaijin + Friends event will take place on 17th January.

Brookes Might Be Injured, Nyla Rose Coming To TJPW, Kodaka Challenges For SOG Title

May 29, 2023

A little bit of worrying news comes from today’s Gatoh Move show. CDK were defending the Asia Dream Tag Team Titles against Shin Suzuki & Choun-Shiryu. During the match Shiryu gave Chris Brookes the Chinese Gory Special Bomb and Brookes injured his shoulder, stopping the match. Suzuki & Shiryu were declared the winners and Masahiro Takanashi handed them over the championship belts because the result counts as a title change. Takanashi reappeared later in the show to tell the fans that Brookes was on the way to the hospital for a diagnosis and his message to everyone is he’s feeling fine. The last thing DDT needs right now is another injury, especially to one of the headliners for their next Sumo Hall show.

6. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Arisu Endo Vs Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku

The strongest trio in Tokyo Joshi Pro lately are Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku. Can they keep their run of success going against Daydream & Arisu Endo? Especially if Rika Tatsumi & Endo figure out how to summon back their heel gimmick from “HYPE!” and go act violently again. Miu Watanabe is too cheerful for that life though.

With ShunMao stepping aside and vacating the belts, Kojima wanted his team with Ueno to represent The 37KAMIINA in the championship match. Despite losing his recent matches, Kojima impressed management enough to grant his request.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’23”, 08/07/2023
Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium

1. Miyu Yamashita Vs Sawyer Wreck
2. Yuka Sakazaki Vs Nyla Rose
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Mizuki (c) Vs Maki Itoh

When Yuka Sakazaki announced her plans to graduate TJPW at the end of the year, she said one of her remaining wishes was to wrestle somebody from AEW at “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’23”. The invitation was accepted and AEW is sending over Nyla Rose! The former AEW Women’s Champion has wrestled in Japan before but this will be her first time in TJPW. They’ve been opponents in tag matches on Dark before and they also once fought each other in a Triple Threat match along with Riho. This match however is the first time they will face off one on one.

GANBARE☆PRO “WRESTLE SEKIGAHARA II”, 09/07/2023
Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium

1. Yoshiko Hasegawa Vs Miyuki Takase
2. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Isami Kodaka

The biggest show of the year for Ganbare☆Pro will be headlined with an inter-promotional match against BASARA with their biggest prize on the line. Mizuki Watase is defending the Spirit Of Ganbare Title against Isami Kodaka and both men will be carrying the flag for their respective promotions. The fighting talk between the two from yesterday suggests this won’t be the end to the rivalry. Watase has promised to continue defending the SOG Title against BASARA wrestlers after he beats Kodaka. In return Kodaka has offered to do the same with GanPro talent if he beats Watase for the belt.

Almost one year after she joined GanPro, Yoshiko Hasegawa gets a special singles match against her senpai Miyuki Takase. Hasegawa owes a lot to Takase for taking care of her during her absence away from wrestling. The best way she can pay her back is to show how much she has grown under GanPro and beat her in their first singles match against each other.

Freelance wrestler Kuma Arashi has suddenly offered to wrestle on GanPro shows after attending yesterday’s shows and being impressed with the company’s passion. He had a match in GanPro once before in 2020 back when he was signed to WRESTLE-1. The atmosphere he felt yesterday reminded him of W1 and convinced him to give this place another shot. He also wants to form a tag team with Ken Ohka while he is here.
