2. That Man Finally Came Back! Kazuki Hirata Triumphant Ultraman Chanko Special 6 Tag Match: Danshoku Dino, Keisuke Ishii & MAO defeated Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata when Ishii pinned Hirata with a Running Knee Attack (10:59).
3. Shigehiro Irie defeated Rekka with the Beast Bomber (10:07).
4. Blindfold Hidden Breast 3 Way Death Match: Masahiro Takanashi defeated Antonio Honda and Nobuhiro Shimatani when Takanashi stripped off Honda’s bra (12:06).
5. HARASHIMA & Soma Takao defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Kouki Iwasaki when HARASHIMA pinned Iwasaki with the Somato (15:34).
6. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Diego when Endo pinned Diego with the Shooting Star Press (16:42).
Kanpai! This year’s Beer Garden series began with an explosive start from DDT. More matches and drama were made for “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2017” at Sumo Hall. In the main event, DAMNATION were victorious over ALL OUT in a highly tense match-up. This was a preview of both Konosuke Takeshita Vs Tetsuya Endo and Akito Vs Daisuke Sasaki with some Diego and Mad Paulie thrown in for good measure. Endo took out both Takeshita & Diego with the Springboard Overhead Kick then pinned Diego with the Shooting Star Press. After the match Sasaki played nice and offered a handshake to ALL OUT. Even Endo was confused by Sasaki’s sudden nice behaviour. Endo shook Takeshita’s hand but held on tight. He then kicked Takeshita and the rest of DAMNATION attacked ALL OUT. Endo yelled “Wrestling is not fighting” at Takeshita while Sasaki brought out a pair of scissors and cut off pieces of Diego’s hair! Sasaki was in the middle of saying his catchphrase when Takeshita grabbed him from behind and gave him a German Suplex. DAMNATION fled out of the ring. Both Takeshita and Akito swore they will get their revenge at Sumo Hall. Diego was the calm one of the three and assured the others he was okay. He asked both of them to win their matches at Sumo Hall. But today, let’s forget about DAMNATION’s disgusting actions by drinking some delicious alcohol!
Kazusada Higuchi provoked HARASHIMA with a muscular pose after their tag match.
Movement was slow in the 3 Way Blindfold Match. Antonio Honda, Masahiro Takanashi and Nobuhiro Shimatani all had to wrestle blindfolded while also wearing bras. The first person to strip off an opponent’s bra would be declared the winner. Honda told his “Gon, The Little Fox” story but missed all of his sneak attacks afterward. The three of them wandered outside the ring and were all nearly counted out. Back in the ring, Takanashi thought the referee was one of his opponents so he tried to give him the Takatonic. He slid off the ref and bumped into Honda’s back. Takanashi then pulled off Honda’s bra to win the match.
Nobody really wanted to wait for Kazuki Hirata to make his entrance before Match #2 could begin. Hirata pleaded to everyone to let him have his entrance because it’s been so long since he last did it. The song played but everyone else ignored it and began the match. Danshoku Dino then grabbed Hirata and fought with him through the crowd. Dino’s attention was then grabbed by Sanshiro Takagi when Takagi used the Danshoku Nightmare on Keisuke Ishii to taunt Dino. Hirata put on his Hirata Go! glasses and got to dance again until Dino put him in the Lip Lock. Ishii then hit a Running Knee Attack for the victory. Takagi told Hirata after the match that nothing about him has changed in the last three months. He’s still using the same song they are not allowed to use on DDT UNIVERSE. Maybe the reason he can’t become strong is because his power up music gets muted every time he appears on DDT UNIVERSE! But there’s a way around this. DDT can make a substitute song to “TOKYO GO!” but they’ll need somebody to do the vocals. John Robinson isn’t going to do it so Hirata should! Takagi is giving Hirata the rest of the week to study English, record the perfect cover of “TOKYO GO!” and make the song his own! Hirata is expected to present his song on the final day of Beer Garden.
Takagi’s day wasn’t over. He still had Dino to deal with. They will fight each other at “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2017” to celebrate 20 years of DDT. But Dino wants something out of it. Takagi has done a good job running DDT not just this year but for all 20 years. But what would it be like if Dino was in charge? Dino wants full authority over all of DDT’s decisions if he beats Takagi at Sumo Hall! Takagi considered it and came up with a demand of his own. If Takagi wins the Dino will have to go find a romantic partner and get married! Takagi revealed that Dino’s mother spoke to him recently. She doesn’t want her son to be single at 40 years old. She wants Takagi to help her find another gay wrestler for Dino to marry. Dino accepted the decision. After all, DDT has always been the place where Dino decides the most important things in his life. The risk is worth the reward of rewriting DDT in his own image. But a match of this calibur cannot be a normal singles match. Dino brought up the Weapon Rumble rule. It is the match that best symbolises DDT and it hasn’t been done in years. They both agreed. Takagi Vs Dino at Sumo Hall is now a Weapon Rumble Match. If Dino wins he takes over DDT but if Takagi wins, Dino must get married!
Dave Crist introduced himself to the DDT fans after the intermission. He thanked DDT for bringing him back to the beautiful country of Japan. Nobuhiro Shimatani, still wearing his bra from the earlier blindfold match, didn’t take kindly to Crist and attacked him. Crist knocked Shimatani out with his finishing move, the Square & Compass.
The first round draw was held for the DNA Pro Wrestling Koshien 2017 tournament being held this Saturday. All entrants were in attendance except for Dai Suzuki who was still recovering from the mystery biker attack last week. The mystery biker made his appearance again here and this time attacked MAO with a chair! The first round matches are Mizuki Watase Vs Kouki Iwasaki, Naomi Yoshimura Vs Dai Suzuki, Diego Vs Yuki Ueno and Shunma Katsumata Vs MAO.

1. Shunma Katsumata & MAO defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Hirata Collection A.T. when Katsumata pinned Hirata with the Katsumata-Style Guillotine (6:48).
2. 3 Way 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Shuji Ishikawa & Mad Paulie defeated Soma Takao, Kouki Iwasaki & Yuki Ueno and Danshoku Dino, Toru Owashi & Antonio Honda when Sasaki submitted Honda with the Cross Facelock (11:14).
3. Kazusada Higuchi & Mike Bailey defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Diego when Bailey pinned Takeshita with the Green Tea Plunge (13:22).
*Mike Bailey wins Konosuke Takeshita’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.
4. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 2: Akito defeated Masahiro Takanashi with the Scorpion Lock (5:04).
5. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 2: Tetsuya Endo defeated KUDO with The Tetsuya In The Sky With Diamonds (14:16).
6. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 2: HARASHIMA defeated Yukio Sakaguchi by TKO with a Modified Sleeper Hold (15:50).
7. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 2: Shigehiro Irie defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Beast Bomber (14:32).
A clash between former Team Drift friends headlined the King Of DDT 2nd Round. Shigehiro Irie went over Keisuke Ishii with two Beast Bombers and he survived the Kneel Kick along the way. Ishii wanted to shake Irie’s hand after the match but he got a hug instead.
HARASHIMA outwrestled Yukio Sakagachi to advance to the semi-finals. Sakaguchi cut off the Somato with a Jumping Middle Kick then applied a Sleeper Hold. HARASHIMA fought out of it and locked in a Cross Armbreaker. He changed it into a Modified Sleeper Hold and kept it tight until Sakaguchi lost consciousness. When he came to, Sakaguchi accepted the result and shook HARASHIMA’s hand.
Tetsuya In The Sky With Diamonds continues to give Tetsuya Endo victories, this time putting away KUDO. The big turn in momentum came when KUDO aimed to hit the Diving Double Knee Drop to Endo on the apron but Endo moved. KUDO kicked out of the Swan Dive Firebird Splash but Endo’s new finisher knocked him out of the tournament.
Masahiro Takanashi disguised himself in normal clothes and ambushed Akito from the crowd. When the plan didn’t beat Akito immediately, Takanashi panicked because he exhausted all of his tactics for the match! He thought on the fly and gave Akito a Low Blow followed by a roll up. However Diego was there to tell the ref that Takanashi was cheating. Akito regained positioning and trapped Takanashi in the Scorpion Lock to tap him out.
A draw was held at the end of the show to determine the semi-finals. Akito and Tetsuya Endo drew each other while HARASHIMA got Shigehiro Irie. The semi-finals and final takes place in Korakuen Hall on 25th June.
Konosuke Takeshita no longer has his backup plan. Mike Bailey pinned the KO-D Openweight Champion in a tag match to win his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract. Bailey recovered from a Dragon Suplex to catch Takeshita with a Moonsault Power Slam for the three count. Bailey asked Amon Tsurumi when the next KO-D Title match was scheduled. He was told 2nd July at Shinjuku Village Studio C 106. Bailey said he will defend the contract until that date so he can be the challenger.
Takeshita’s threats for the title didn’t end there. Naomi Yoshimura entered the ring to confront him again. He told the audience the same stories he told Takeshita a few days ago. His family fell apart, he was told to quit school by his teacher and now it turns out a girl named Mari-chan he had a crush on in school turned him down for someone else. Yoshimura blames Takeshita for breaking his family apart and stealing his first love so Yoshimura will cash in his Right To Challenge Contract when the time is right to make it memorable.

1. Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi defeated Antonio Honda & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Owashi pinned Shimatani with a Crushed Body Slam (6:14).
2. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 1: Akito defeated Daisuke Sasaki with the Scorpion Lock (6:14).
3. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 1: Masahiro Takanashi defeated Hirata Collection A.T. with a Cradle (8:02).
4. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 1: KUDO defeated Soma Takao with the Diving Double Knee Drop (8:30).
5. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 1: Tetsuya Endo defeated Mike Bailey with the Tetsuya In The Sky With Diamonds (16:00).
6. Konosuke Takeshita & Diego defeated Kouki Iwasaki & MAO when Diego pinned MAO with the VHS (9:58).
7. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 1: Yukio Sakaguchi defeated Shunma Katsumata with the Right Knee Of God (7:42).
8. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 1: HARASHIMA defeated Kazusada Higuchi with the Somato (11:24).
9. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 1: Keisuke Ishii defeated Danshoku Dino with the Kneel Kick (10:47).
10. King Of DDT 2017 – Round 1: Shigehiro Irie defeated Mad Paulie with the Beast Bomber (11:45).
Today’s show was dominated by Round 1 action for the King Of DDT 2017. Shigehiro Irie avenged his defeat to Mad Paulie from a month ago by beating him in the main event here. It took two Beast Bombers to put the DAMNATION pet away. Irie shook Paulie’s hand after the match.
Keisuke Ishii beat his old buddy Danshoku Dino to advance. Ishii went all out with the finish, hitting a Dangerous Exploder, Fisherman Buster and then the Kneel Kick for the three count. Dino realises he is at the point of his career where he doesn’t have many opportunities left, so today’s defeat tells him that his best opportunity to headline Sumo Hall this year is now gone.
The back and forth rivalry between HARASHIMA and Kazusada Higuchi leaned back towards HARASHIMA’s favour when he won with the Somato. Higuchi blocked the move at first but HARASHIMA put all his strength into the move to put Higuchi down and out.
Yukio Sakaguchi eliminated Shunma Katsumata with a nasty looking Right Knee Of God. Sakaguchi hit the move when Katsumata rebounded off the ropes and leapt into the air for an attack of his own. The Right Knee caught him in mid air and scored the win for Sakaguchi. He promises to knock out HARASHIMA the same way in the next round!
Another rivalry continued in Round 1 with Tetsuya Endo beating Mike Bailey in the longest match of the show. Many flips were had but the end came when Endo chased Bailey up the turnbuckle and gave him the Spanish Fly off the top rope. Endo now calls that move Tetsuya In The Sky With Diamonds.
In non-tournament action, ALL OUT defeated NωA with Diego scoring the pin. Diego explained his recent name change. He heard a good story that if he changed his name then his life would change too. The good atmosphere backstage afterwards was interrupted when Naomi Yoshimura confronted Konosuke Takeshita. For some reason Yoshimura blames Takeshita for all of his problems. Every time Yoshimura lost a sumo bout? Takeshita’s fault. Yoshimura’s family falling apart? Takeshita’s fault. Yoshimura getting expelled from school? Takeshita’s fault. So Yoshimura will use his Right To Challenge Contract to get revenge when Takeshita least expects it.
As much as Soma Takao tried to avoid KUDO’s rapid kicks, he was eventually caught with a Buzzsaw Kick and put away with the Diving Double Knee Drop. KUDO thinks his next round opponent Endo is lying when he says he is not interested in fighting anybody. KUDO wants to win the King Of DDT because he wants to fight Takeshita for the KO-D Openweight Title. Endo should think the same.
Masahiro Takanashi finally got his hands on Hirata Collection A.T. one on one but it took some effort to beat him. Hirata trapped him in a Paradise Lock then took the time to do a model walk with Hiranito Collection A.T. and DJ Nira. When Takanashi was freed Hirata trapped him in the Hirata Lock. But Takanashi countered the move into a Cradle for the flash three count.
The first match of the tournament had Akito defeating Daisuke Sasaki in convincing fashion. Akito countered Sasaki’s Hurricanrana into the Scorpion Lock for the submission victory. Sasaki’s reaction to the loss was to give his DDT Extreme Title belt to Akito and leave ringside without it. It seems that Sasaki is so upset over missing out on the Sumo Hall main event that he no longer cares about being the Extreme Champion. Akito was happy to take the belt with him but Amon Tsurumi took it back before he walked through the curtain.
Antonio Honda mixed up his storytelling today. This time he wondered what the story “Kita No Kuni Kara” would be like if it had John Lennon in it. Nobuhiro Shimatani’s enthusiasm to Body Slam Toru Owashi cost him the match. Owashi was too heavy for him and he simply landed on top of Shimatani for the pin.
The 2nd Round matches are Akito Vs Masahiro Takanashi, KUDO Vs Tetsuya Endo, Yukio Sakaguchi Vs HARASHIMA and Keisuke Ishii Vs Shigehiro Irie. They will take place on 4th June.

1. Sanshiro Takagi & Hirata Collection A.T. defeated Shunma Katsumata & MAO when Hirata submitted MAO with the Hirata Lock (8:13).
2. Makoto Oishi & Saki Akai defeated Mad Paulie & Heidi Katrina when Akai pinned Katrina with the Rookie Award (7:05).
3. Danshoku Dino & Royce Isaacs Vs Toru Owashi & Shigehiro Irie ended in a No Contest (8:40).
4. Antonio Honda & Keisuke Ishii defeated Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo when Honda pinned Sasaki with the Diving Fist Drop (14:59).
5. ALL OUT Vs DNA!: Konosuke Takeshita & Akito defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Kouki Iwasaki when Takeshita pinned Higuchi with the Surprise Rose (13:55).
*Konosuke Takeshita wins Kazusada Higuchi’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.
6. Smile Squash Vs Shuten-dōji!: HARASHIMA, Soma Takao & Yasu Urano defeated KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi when Urano pinned Takanashi with the Tombstone Piledriver (22:01).
Yasu Urano is picking up steam on the way to his KO-D Openweight Title shot. Today he scored the victory for Smile Squash over Shuten-dōji. But it was a bitter sweet result for Urano. This was his final match against his longtime friends and rivals as a DDT contracted wrestler. Urano was originally invited by KUDO to wrestle in DDT a decade ago and for that he will always be grateful. He is also inspired by Yukio Sakaguchi who showed him that you are never too old to try something new. Last but not least he respects Masahiro Takanashi for making up for his lack of size and power by working hard on his techniques.
The Right To Challenge Contracts took an unexpected turn when the KO-D Champion himself Konosuke Takeshita got his hands on one. Takeshita used his new Wrist Clutch Fisherman Buster to pin Kazusada Higuchi and take his gauntlet. We found out afterwards that the move is called the Surprise Rose. Akito kept asking Takeshita if he could have the RTC Contract because the champion shouldn’t need it. Takeshita kept telling him no because he knew Akito would just cash it in on him immediately. When that was settled, ALL OUT announced they will be revealing a new member of the team at the 28th May Korakuen Hall show.
Today didn’t go so well for Daisuke Sasaki. He also lost to Antonio Honda for the first time in their current series of matches. Sasaki brought in a chair after a referee bump but Honda stopped him with a Low Blow and the Scorpion Death Drop. Honda then hit the Diving Fist Drop for the finish. If that wasn’t bad enough, Sasaki also went through some women problems earlier in the show. I’ll get to that later.
The International Gay Factory’s antics were so out of control during their match with Toru Owashi & Shigehiro Irie that it ended in a No Contest. Danshoku Dino grabbed the arms of anyone from ringside from referees to wrestlers to even the GM Amon Tsurumi. Dino would grab their arms and use Royce Isaac’s Miracle Ass to break them until NωA came down to stop them. Makoto Oishi told IGF that he cannot forgive them for their actions.
Sasaki was caught red handed doing his fake translations of Heidi Katrina’s promos. After Saki Akai pinned Katrina in their tag match, Akai wanted to put an end to their feud and team up together. This time Tetsuya Koda gave the proper interpretations to Katrina and she was furious to find out Sasaki was lying to her the entire time. Sasaki kicked Koda away but the damage was done and Katrina attacked Sasaki with Akai’s help. She then accepted Akai’s offer to team up.
Masahiro Takanashi attacked Hirata Collection A.T. after the opening match. Sanshiro Takagi decided to join in by stomping his buddy because he felt like it. Takanashi demanded a singles match with Hirata at Korakuen. Amon Tsurumi decided they will get a tag team match instead. Hirata suddenly announced his partner for the match will be Daiki Shimomura’s cousin from Italy. Shimomura didn’t know he has a cousin from Italy. He was even more confused when Hirata said the cousin’s name is Hiranito Collection A.T. but whatever, he’ll go with it.

2. I Am Like Him And He Is Like Me Part 2: Masahiro Takanashi defeated Rekka by Countout (6:59).

5. DAMNATION Vs Blooming Flower High School Tag: Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ueno when Sasaki submitted Ueno with the Cross Facelock (11:18).
6. BOYZ Being BOYZ Special 6-Man Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii, Akito & Kazuki Hirata defeated HARASHIMA, Yukio Sakaguchi & Makoto Oishi when Akito pinned Oishi with the Hanamasa (11:51).
Kazuki Hirata was intimidated by Yukio Sakaguchi’s presence in the main event. He hesitated to shake his hand before the match but eventually did so. Sakaguchi refused to let go until Hirata pulled hard enough to break it. He then angered Sakaguchi by calling him disgusting. Hirata quickly apologised to Sakaguchi’s hand and then tagged out.
Daisuke Sasaki struck Yuki Ueno below to belt behind the referee’s back to lead into the Cross Facelock finish.
The grudge between BOYZ and YaroZ continued when Nobuhiro Shimatani faced Antonio Honda. Pride was on the line because Shimatani felt it was his duty to defend his BOYZ home. Honda wasted no time getting into the ring to fight his opponent and he put him away with the Scorpion Death Drop followed by a Jumping Elbow Drop.
Masahiro Takanashi is continuing his streak of winning matches by countout. This time he was creative. He got Chinsuke Nakamura to act as his body double to distract Rekka during the ringside brawl. Rekka fell for the trap and by the time he realised he was attacking the wrong person, Takanashi Dropkicked him and rushed back to the ring in time to get the countout victory.
The BOYZ all wore peach coloured clothing during the opening introductions to celebrate the Peach Festival.

6. Maebashi Specialty! DDT Does Not Know The Gunman Special Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Antonio Honda defeated HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano when Takeshita pinned Urano with the Roll Through German Suplex (20:10).
As the road to Saitama Super Arena continues, Konosuke Takeshita finally gets his first victory over HARASHIMA in their series of tag matches. Takeshita introduced each member of Happy Motels to the audience after the match and also included Yumehito Imanari who was working as the cameraman. Takeshita hopes he will return to Maebashi as the KO-D Openweight Champion for a singles match.
Tetsuya Endo refused to answer any questions during the entire post-match interview after he was pinned by Yukio Sakaguchi.
Danshoku Dino teased Kazusada Higuchi before their match, bragging that Yoshihiro Takayama is with him instead of Higuchi. Higuchi tried to convince him that he didn’t care but Takayama misunderstood and asked Higuchi why he wants his lips so much? Mizuki Watase also made it awkward by telling Higuchi they could be a couple too. When Dino & Takayama won the match Dino said that they are quickly becoming an established couple. Takayama said he is free to love anyone. He then told Higuchi he will not turn to a guy who can’t kiss in public.
Masahiro Takanashi used Mad Paulie’s collar to tie his feet together outside the ring, counting him out. When Paulie was freed by one of the trainees after the match he attacked him with Hammer Punches.
Soma Takao & Akito are both confident they will win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles in Saitama because neither of them have been pinned since Takao joined Smile Squash.
After spending so long in dark matches, Nobuhiro Shimatani now wants to do whatever he can to stand out and gain the attention of everybody. His first attempt at this was joining in with Kazuki Hirata’s dancing entrance. He joined in with the dance again during the match until both he and Hirata were rolled over into a double pin by Makoto Oishi.

6a. HARASHIMA pinned Guanchulo with a Buzzsaw Kick (11:31).
6b. Konosuke Takeshita pinned Akito with La España (17:03).
6c. Akito submitted Antonio Honda with the Scorpion Lock (22:40).
A 3 match challenge was set up for Smile Squash and Happy Motels in the main event. Antonio Honda started things off by telling the old tale of “Anna And The Snow Queen” because he was thinking about it over the night. But he was so tense he felt like his brain was going to blow out of his right nostril. His bad performance was fixed when Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi sang to him while he was in a Facelock. All that progress meant nothing as HARASHIMA then pinned Guanchulo with a Buzzsaw Kick to win the first fall. During the second fall Honda wandered off to the balcony and then sang “Let It Go” to distract Smile Squash. The distraction didn’t last but Takeshita was able to tie the score by pinning Akito with La España. Honda dropped the comedy for the final fall and countered Akito’s Hanamasa into a Scorpion Drop. But Akito then countered Honda’s Diving Fist Drop into an Armbar and turned it into the Scorpion Lock for the submission win. The final score was Smile Squash 2, Happy Motels 1. After the match Akito said it wasn’t a bad start for the new generation of Smile Squash. He handed the microphone over to HARASHIMA to close out the show but HARASHIMA gave it back. Since Akito won the match, HARASHIMA thinks Akito should give the speech.
Daisuke Sasaki gave Yukio Sakaguchi a warning that Tetsuya Endo will take care of him soon. Until then he should stop bringing in weak partners like Masahiro Takanashi and get someone decent to face them instead. Sakaguchi threatened to kill both Sasaki & Endo. Then said he will fill Saitama Super Arena with their blood.
Shiori Asahi was supposed to be a mystery wrestler but DDT accidentally advertised him in advance. So Makoto Oishi and Amon Tsurumi asked the fans to act surprised when Asahi appeared for their match against Yoshihiro Takayama & Danshoku Dino. The match ended with Oishi & Asahi attempted to do the Cactus Flower on Dino. Takayama caught Oishi with a Brainbuster in midair and Dino grabbed Asahi for the Lip Lock. Dino then gave Oishi the Axe Guillotine Danshoku Driver to win.

*V1 for HARASHIMA.

Merry Christmas everyone! The final DDT show of the year had HARASHIMA’s first defence of his current KO-D Openweight Title reign. The challenger Shigehiro Irie had a lot of momentum on his side ever since he came back from America. He had pinned HARASHIMA in his first match back and was on the winning side for most of their tag matches in the lead up to today. Irie would even taunt HARASHIMA by giving him the thumbs down after all of their matches. HARASHIMA targeted Irie’s abdomen early on, hitting the John Woo Dropkick, some Knee Drops and Foot Stomps then a Cobra Twist. He did the deed by doing a Falcon Arrow but Irie kicked out and turned the tables with a Traffic Accident Tackle. HARASHIMA avoided both a Piledriver and the Flying Sausage but Irie finally hit a move with the Black Hole Slam. He tried to do a Piledriver on the apron but HARASHIMA slipped out and hit a Buzzsaw Kick. Irie quickly cut his momentum at ringside with a Power Bomb onto the apron instead. When HARASHIMA was rolled back into the ring he kicked out of the pin. He blocked Irie from doing the Flying Sausage and did a Superplex instead. A Swan Dive Foot Stomp got a two count. Irie applied the Tazzmission and tried to do a Suplex variation but HARASHIMA fought his way out of it. HARASHIMA hit three middle kicks but Irie hit back with the Beast Bomber and then gave a thumbs down. He went for the Vertical Drop Back Flip but HARASHIMA slipped out and hit a Jumping High Kick. The end came with both wrestlers trying to hit either the Somato or the Beast Bomber and HARASHIMA came out on top.

Irie finally gave HARASHIMA the thumbs up after the match. HARASHIMA said that everyone now sees how strong Irie has become and he would be happy to fight him again. HARASHIMA is now looking forward to defending the title against Mike Bailey on 3rd January. The rest of the roster then came out including Super Sasadango Machine wearing a Santa costume. Several of the wrestlers gave out their goals for 2017. Konosuke Takeshita wants to win back the KO-D Title. Yukio Sakaguchi will kill everyone who stands before his eyes. KUDO has spent this year recovering from his injuries and becoming a father so he wants to show everyone a strong KUDO next year. Yoshihiro Takayama has gotten so used to wrestling in DDT he now wants something to wrap around his waist to keep warm. Danshoku Dino will go on a diet. Keisuke Ishii wants to be more central to DDT. Saki Akai wants to spread the world of DDT. Kazusada Higuchi wants to win the New Year Tag Team Tournament. Shunma Katsumata wants to release a solo album, record more songs with NωA, win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles and recruit a new member for NωA. Sasadango wants to return to the ring and live vigorously in good health. Sanshiro Takagi wants to send DDT across the whole world through DDT UNIVERSE. Finally HARASHIMA wants everyone to continue their support for DDT.

Shuten-dōji continues to have DAMNATION’s number. They beat DAMNATION to win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Titles earlier this month, beat them again earlier this week and then beat them once more in their first title defence. If that wasn’t enough, Masahiro Takanashi pinned Daisuke Sasaki in all three matches! Even Takanashi has trouble believing it. The third straight loss for DAMNATION has put them in crisis. They stormed out at the end of the show after the rest of the roster gave their resolutions. Is DAMNATION going to split up? Hell no! Sasaki says if they’re breaking up on Christmas Day, they would do it alone during a party for just themselves. Instead Sasaki will prepare for his next match on 3rd January. He will face the love of his life Candice LeRae! Next year DAMNATION will not flock together or flirt or get married… but Sasaki will get married to Candice! Sasaki was also kicking Shuji Ishikawa as he was shouting this out. Mad Paulie wasn’t really paying attention, instead wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

The first two matches for “JUDGEMENT 2017” in Saitama Super Arena next March were announced. A good card has to be prepared since the show celebrates DDT’s 20 year anniversary. First, Tokyo Joshi Pro gets a high profile match by mixing in with DDT’s women and two big joshi names. It will be Meiko Satomura, Saki Akai & Shoko Nakajima Vs Aja Kong, Cherry & Miyu Yamashita! The other match is Danshoku Dino versus whoever he wants. Dino requested Triple H but that was immediately turned down because it is deemed impossible to set up. It is up to Dino to choose his dream opponent under one condition, he cannot spend over 500,000 yen combined in payment, transportation and accommodation expenses.

Mad Paulie was truly in the Christmas spirit all day. He came down to the ring for his match against Konosuke Takeshita wearing a Santa hat and beard. He dominated the early portion of the bout, overwhelming Takeshita with brute force and throwing him around ringside. Takeshita spent the match defending himself against Paulie’s attacks. The opening he was looking for when he avoided the Reverse Splash. He then hit move after move from Big boots to Lariats to Brainbusters until Paulie couldn’t take anymore. Takeshita then got the win with the German Suplex. Takeshita was happy to spend the last DDT show of the year wrestling in a singles match and his victory was his Christmas gift to the fans.

Kazusada Higuchi say he has learned a lot by teaming with Yoshihiro Takayama in the last few months. Takayama thinks Higuchi is just trying to flatter him but Higuchi is being honest. Takayama says he too is learning new things by teaming with Higuchi and Kouki Iwasaki. When asked about his desire to want something around his waist, Takayama simply answered he is the man who wants everything.

Joey Ryan & Laura James have set their sights on becoming DDT’s power couple. Before their match with Makoto Oishi & Saki Akai began, James dared the referee to check her tights for any hidden items. When the ref became uncomfortable, Ryan then demanded him to do it. The couple showed off their deadly double team move during the match. Ryan falls down on his hands and knees next to the target, James pours lotion all over his back, she then charges towards him and slides over his back head first into the opponent. After winning the match, Ryan said their opponents were easy and he match difficult on purpose just to have a challenge. Their goal in DDT for 2017 is to win the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Also James wants to visit Harajuku and go see a cat cafe.

Everyone in the 3 Way Tag match agreed to Lucha tag rules for the bout. Antonio Honda got upset when he couldn’t join in on the wrestling between Soma Takao and Shunma Katsumata. So he began telling a story that happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Everybody expected him to talk about Star Wars but it instead turned out to be Gon, The Little Fox again.

Whenever Jiro Kuroshio shows up in DDT it is always a fun time for everyone, except Kazuki Hirata. He’s jealous of Kuroshio’s popularity and hates his entrance song. It’s incomprehensible and annoying unlike his own song. He was going to crush Kuroshio in this match! He also warned him about Dino’s behaviour around handsome wrestlers. Dino was in fact smitten by Kuroshio but that motivated him rather than cause a distraction. Sanshiro Takagi used the brand new DDT Storage Box as a weapon during the match but was cut off with a Dropkick. Kuroshio was ready to end the match until Dino stopped to confess his love to him. Keisuke Ishii took over while this was going on and won the match for his team anyway.

7. Shuten-dōji Vs DAMNATION: KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie when Takanashi pinned Sasaki with the Takatonic (13:49).
Masa Takanashi pins Daisuke Sasaki for the second time in a row. Yukio Sakaguchi set it up with the Right Knee Of God and Takanashi finished it with the Takatonic. Takanashi himself noticed this new trend is unusual for him. He wanted to act like beating Sasaki twice is no big deal be even he admits it is strange. Eh, whatever. Let’s drink!
A stipulation was added to MAO Vs Dick Togo. If MAO won then Togo would have to join NωA. But if Togo won then he would get to make a wish. He teased that he might wish to join NωA anyway. Before the match began, MAO was given 30kg of rice as a gift of encouragement from a local sponsor. During the match Togo pulled MAO out of the ring, pulled away a ring mat and Body Slammed MAO onto the exposed floor. Togo continued to control the match until MAO hit a No Touch Tope out of the ring. MAO later stopped Togo from doing the Senton Bomb by hitting an Avalanche Frankensteiner followed by the Screw Kick. Togo avoided the 450 Cannonball and took MAO back outside the ring so he could give him a Vertical Drop Brainbuster onto the floor. Togo returned to the ring at the 19 count but was then hit with a Lariat. Togo won the match with the Pedigree and the Diving Senton. After the match Makoto Oishi came out with an exciting announcement for the future of NωA. He wants to introduced the newest member of NωA, the Wrestling Master turned Idol Master Dick Togo! Togo was taken aback but played along and asked Oishi if he was ready to help make his wish come true. Oishi said of course! Togo then gave Oishi the Pedigree. Wish granted.
Yoshihiro Takayama & Shigehiro Irie had a dominating victory over Smile Squash. They hit a Back Drop/Neckbreaker Drop combo to HARASHIMA to take him out of the match then Irie latched on the Tazzmission to Yasu Urano for the victory. Irie said after the match that he will become the KO-D Openweight Champion in two days time.
The show featured the DDT debut of Laura James, wife of Joey Ryan. Joey and Sanshiro Takagi wanted her debut to be a serious match so they both stopped Kazuki Hirata from dancing. Ryan then repeatedly shouted “This is serious!” while he traded holds with Takagi. Hirata got the message and tried not to do anything wacky when he was in the ring with Laura. That all went out the window when Joey started doing his crotch spots and Hirata convinced Laura to dance with him. Joey stopped the dancing by shoving a lollipop into Hirata’s mouth and then Super Kicking him. Laura then hit a Northern Lights Suplex to win her first DDT match.

*DAMNATION fails in V2. Shuten-dōji becomes the 27th KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions!
7. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Konosuke Takeshita & Mike Bailey (c) defeated Danshoku Dino & Keisuke Ishii when Bailey pinned Dino with the Shooting Star Double Knee Drop (24:00).
*V1 for Konosuke Takeshita & Mike Bailey.
As mentioned after yesterday’s show, Mike Bailey wanted nothing to do with Danshoku Dino in the main event. Dino chased him around ringside until Bailey had to fend him off with kicks. It wasn’t any better for Konosuke Takeshita, he missed a Lariat to Keisuke Ishii and hit his arm off the ring post. Dino & Ishii took advantage and worked over the arm. They tried a Go 2 Sleep style set up for the Danshoku Driver to Bailey but Takeshita cut them off. Takeshita countered Ishii’s Kneel Kick with a Lariat and that took him out of the match. Bailey secured the win with a Buzzsaw Kick to Dino followed by the Shooting Star Double Knee Drop. Bailey said after the match that his problem with Dino has nothing to do with his sexual preference. It’s because Dino keeps grabbing men’s crotches without their consent. Aside from that Bailey called him a good wrestler and “The No. 1 Gay”. With that out of the way Bailey then asked Amon Tsurumi for a request. He recently won the DNA Grand Prix and the KO-D Tag Team Titles so now he wants a shot at the KO-D Openweight Title! Tsurumi confirmed that the winner of HARASHIMA Vs Shigehiro Irie will face Bailey at Korakuen Hall on 3rd January with the title on the line!
It’s all falling apart for DAMNATION, they have now lost all of their championships! In the lead up to this match, Daisuke Sasaki said if DAMNATION lost the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles to Shuten-dōji then they should split up. Kota Umeda was at ringside using crutches to stand so he could cheer on his stablemates. Early in the match Sasaki grabbed Masahiro Takanashi’s legs from the apron and pulled him outside the ring. That led to a ringside brawl where Sasaki grabbed Umeda’s crutch and then hit him with it. The end came when Takanashi escaped Sasaki’s Vietnam Driver II. Sasaki fought off the Takatonic but was surprised when Takanashi switched to the Bacchus. That was enough for the three count and the title change! Sasaki was distraught by the result. DAMNATION has lost all of its championships in the space of a week and they deserve to be dissolved because of this! While Sasaki had a mental breakdown backstage, Shuji Ishikawa demanded the group get a rematch at Korakuen Hall on Christmas Day. Mad Paulie already has a match set for that show so Ishikawa will take his spot on the team. The new champions welcome the decision. Takanashi said Sasaki should go wash dishes for DDT’s restaurants if he loses again. As far as he is concerned, Sasaki owed a debt to Shuten-dōji when he lost and that debt was paid for with the 6-Man Tag Titles. If Sasaki loses again, he’ll owe Shuten-dōji another debt and he has nothing left that they want so he may as well start from zero like a rookie and do chores.
Shigehiro Irie was happy to play with his new friend Yoshihiro Takayama in Hakata! He has nothing to be afraid of because his new friend is big and strong! Takayama gave Irie his stamp of approval to be the next KO-D Champion! Together they yelled “No Fear!”
Maki Itoh was all business for her debut wrestling match. After watching Miyu Yamashita’s dance entrance she told her she wasn’t here to do the same. Itoh’s offence included Elbow Strikes, a Body Slam, a Dropkick and even a Headbutt. Yamashita defeated her with a Skewered Knee Strike followed by the Attitude Adjustment. Yamashita said she was happy to be back in her home city of Fukuoka and she was pleased with Itoh’s performance. Her true feelings were showcased in the ring because she worked hard. Yamashita also said from now on she and Itoh are rivals so they can have more exciting matches together in Fukuoka. Itoh admitted defeat but claims she has a cuter face than Yamashita.
