TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2022 WINTER ~OSAKA PERFORMANCE~”, 26/02/2022 Osaka Azalea Taisho Hall 164 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House
1. Suzume defeated Kaya Toribami with the Ring A Bell (7:15).
2. Nao Kakuta defeated Haruna Neko with the Shiden Kai (7:51).
3. Maki Itoh & Yuki Kamifuku defeated Raku & Pom Harajuku when Itoh submitted Harajuku with the Itoh Punish (11:09).
4. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Moka Miyamoto defeated Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao & Mahiro Kiryu when Watanabe pinned Kiryu with the Tear Drop (12:36).
5. Miyu Yamashita & Marika Kobashi defeated Hikari Noa & Arisu Endo when Yamashita pinned Endo with the Skull Kick (10:05).
6. Yuka Sakazaki Vs Mizuki defeated Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino when Sakazaki pinned Tenma after the Toy Story 4 (15:10).
This is the last Tokyo Joshi Pro show in Osaka to feature both Nodoka Tenma and Marika Kobashi. Tenma got to wrestle The Magical Sugar Rabbits and had nothing but kind words to say about them afterwards. Tenma is an older sister but she thinks TJPW has many “older sister” types on the roster that took care of her and Yuki Aino in many ways. Tenma wants the fans in Osaka to know that TJPW without Tenma and Kobashi will still be amazing so please go and see the show again.
Miyu Yamashita made sure to work hard in order to make up for lost time while she was out sick. Kobashi said she loves Osaka so much she went to the Amerikamura area to recharge before her match.
Maki Itoh also kept herself busy while she was in isolation. She tried making pasta using the ingredients sent to her from the care package sent by the Japanese government for covid patients. Itoh burned the pasta because she used a frying pan to cook it. She still ate it all so the taxes that paid for it wouldn’t be wasted.
TJPW will hold a show at Osaka Edion Arena #2 on 5th May. It will be their first show at the venue since September 2019. It will also be Yuki Arai’s first match in Osaka.

It’s the final showdown between The Magical Sugar Rabbits and The Bakuretsu Sisters!
Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh are both cleared and back in action. Yamashita gets to team with Marika Kobashi again, although I think their original team name JK Strikers is a bit out of date at this point. Itoh teams with Yuki Kamifuku, showing that they are still friends after their International Princess Title match earlier this month.
DDT “ULTIMATE TAG LEAGUE 2022 THE FINAL!!”, 27/02/2022 Tokyo Korakuen Hall

6. Special Tag Match: Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai Vs Sanshiro Takagi & Maya Yukihi
7. KO-D Tag Team Titles – Ultimate Tag League 2022 – Final : Winners Of Block A Vs Winners Of Block B
The final block matches for the Ultimate Tag League tell two different stories. In the A Block BURNING only needs a tie to advance to the final. However if The 37KAMIINA beats them, then Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ueno advance because of the head to head rule. DISASTER BOX versus Pheromones needs to have a winner otherwise the B Block can get complicated. A time limit draw leads to a restart because the teams get one point each and tie in first without a head to head tiebreaker. Real chaos can happen if the match ends in a Double DQ, Double Countout or No Contest because no points are awarded to anyone. That can possibly create a 3 Way or 4 Way tie with DAMNATION T.A and whoever wins between ShunMao and CDK. Normally we do not have to worry about that scenario happening but Pheromones are involved. Their entire thing is ruining matches without caring about winning or losing. They can now ruin the entire tournament if they want to!
Unfortunately two more wrestlers have been pulled from the show. Toui Kojima tested positive for covid while Antonio Honda has been under poor physical condition. In Honda’s case he tested negative so he might just be feeling ill this week. The dark matches have been changed with their removal alongside Toru Owashi and Soma Takao getting bumped up to the opening match with Shuji Kondo and Kazusada Higuchi.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW MIDWINTER POOL WRESTLING ON WRESTLE UNIVERSE”, 28/02/2022 Tokyo Sumida Sports Health Center Pool
1. 5 Way Tag Match: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki Vs Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe Vs Hyper Misao & Nodoka Tenma Vs Hikari Noa & Yuki Arai Vs Marika Kobashi & Raku
Pro wrestling matches at swimming pools have been done before by DDT. Now it is Tokyo Joshi Pro’s turn to try it out. The match has already been recorded and will be shown for the first time on WRESTLE UNIVERSE this Monday, so for now I’m using the broadcast date for the match record. Five teams will be against each other but some special rules will be included so it may not be just one match with every team all against each other at once.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’22”, 19/03/2022 Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan
1. Juria Nagano Debut Match: Juria Nagano Vs X
2. Sanshiro Takagi Vs Hyper Misao

4. Special Single Match: Hikaru Shida Vs Hikari Noa
5. International Princess Title: Maki Itoh (c) Vs Yuki Arai
6. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe
7. Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima
Nodoka Tenma and Yuki Aino will have their first and only singles match against each other at Sumo Hall. A match between The Bakuretsu Sisters was often pitched over the years but Aino never liked the idea. Tenma wants the match to finally happen because she will be graduating from wrestling soon. This time Aino agree to the match because Tenma helped make her who she is today.
Getting a match against the crazy company president should be top of the list of things Hyper Misao would like to do. However she wasn’t happy to find out she will be fighting Sanshiro Takagi. He’s become too old and boring for her wacky ideas. Takagi warned her that he is just as crazy in the ring as he always was so she better be ready to eat her words!
Juria Nagano seems to be training with Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki if her latest TikTok is anything to go by.
The complete match line-up will be revealed tomorrow. The show will have ten matches in total.

Both Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh tested positive for covid this week and are out of action until 26th February. They seem to be ok if they both have that date as the target for their returns.
Rika Tatsumi, Nodoka Tenma and Raku were all identified as possible close contacts. They have to miss tomorrow’s show but will be back on 23rd February should they test negative and show no symptoms.
Some good news for tomorrow is Hikari Noa being cleared for return. She teams up with Nao Kakuta as Free WiFi again.

6. The 37KAMIINA Vs BURNING!: Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno & Toui Kojima Vs Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada
The Youtube channels are ramping up the match uploads a lot lately. Today I noticed Tokyo Joshi Pro ended up putting up their entire 29th January show match by match out of order. So I decided to gather them altogether in one post and delete the earlier single entries to free up some page space. I don’t want entire pages of this blog to get clogged up with videos.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2022 WINTER ~YOKOHAMA PERFORMANCE~”, 05/02/2022 Yokohama Radiant Hall 150 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House
1. Nao Kakuta defeated Kaya Toribami with the Shiden Kai (8:54).
2. Shoko Nakajima & Haruna Neko defeated Suzume & Arisu Endo when Nakajima pinned Endo with the Northern Lights Suplex (12:27).
3. Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Raku & Pom Harajuku when Sakazaki submitted Harajuku with a Modified Calf Killer (11:24).
4. Hyper Misao, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Mahiro Kiryu when Tenma pinned Kiryu with the Killswitch (13:14).
5. Miyu Yamashita defeated Marika Kobashi with the Attitude Adjustment (10:09).
The homecoming show was important for Marika Kobashi. Today is the last time she wrestled in Yokohama before her graduation from Tokyo Joshi Pro this April. There were several times in Kobashi’s career when she was given a big match against Miyu Yamashita before she took an absence from pro wrestling. It happened in 2016 when she was ready to enter high school and 2019 when she was ready to enter university. So there was no other choice for her opponent today.
In the match itself Kobashi tried using the Run-Up Bulldog Headlock, the Front Neck Lock and also the Diving Chop inspired by one of her namesake’s Abdullah Kobayashi. But Yamashita ended up winning once she hit the Skull Kick and followed up with the Attitude Adjustment. She praised Kobashi for growing up and said it inspired herself to do her best today too. Kobashi said she loves TJPW but it breaks her heart that she was never good enough to beat Yamashita. However today has lit a fire beneath her and she will spend her last two months in wrestling stirring up TJPW. She ended the show by shouting “I love you! Gyau!”
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2022 WINTER ~YOKOHAMA PERFORMANCE~”, 05/02/2022 Yokohama Radiant Hall
1. Miyu Yamashita Vs Marika Kobashi
One more homecoming for Marika Kobashi before she graduates from Tokyo Joshi Pro in April. She gets the biggest challenge possible, a singles match against Miyu Yamashita!
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “POSITIVE CHAIN ’22”, 11/02/2022 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. Moka Miyamoto Vs Arisu Endo
2. Hyper Misao, Nao Kakuta & Mahiro Kiryu Vs Asuka, Haruna Neko & Kaya Toribami
3. Suzume Vs Yuki Arai
4. Sakisama & Mei Saint-Michel Vs Raku & Pom Harajuku
5. Miyu Yamashita, Hikari Noa & Marika Kobashi Vs Shoko Nakajima, Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki
6. International Princess Title: Maki Itoh (c) Vs Yuki Kamifuku
7. 2nd “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Final: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe Vs Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino
The two strongest teams in TJPW right now seem to be Daydream and The Bakuretsu Sisters. They both reached the Max Heart Tournament final and the time is coming to see which side is better. There have been two previous matches between the teams and the Princess Tag Team Titles were on the line both times. Daydream won the first one and the Sisters won the second time. This will be the definitive rubber match given how Nodoka Tenma’s wrestling career is nearing its end. Yuki Aino thinks this match is their destiny. She still wants to wrestle with her sister which she thinks is one of the reasons why they were so successful in this tournament. However Miu Watanabe believes Daydream is now at their strongest. Rika Tatsumi is looking ahead to the winners most likely getting the next Princess Tag Titles shot against The Magical Sugar Rabbits.
When Yuki Kamifuku pinned Maki Itoh earlier in the tournament, Itoh kept her temper knowing that Kamifuku would become a potential challenger for the International Princess Title. Her instinct was proven correct and Kamifuku gets the title shot at Korakuen Hall. Itoh wants her current reign to surpass Kamifuku’s time with the belt so whatever feelings Kamifuku shows in the match, Itoh will give it back 100 times more. Kamifuku feels motivated after teaming with Asuka and thinks it will be a bad look for their friendship if she has nothing to show from working so hard. If she becomes champion again she wants to expand the Wrestle Universe audience across Asia, because America and Europe are already being catered to. Harsh words were also given when Kamifuku called herself the coolest in the world. Itoh said “Piss off you piece of shit” in response.
Two classmates born in 1998 will face off when Suzume takes on Yuki Arai in a first time singles match. Suzume has two years of extra experience in the ring but Arai is coming off of a super rookie year that’s been covered by the Japanese wrestling press across the board. While Suzume knows how popular Arai is, she remembers getting many votes herself to qualify for the IP Title No. 1 Contender Battle Royal last December (Suzume even beat Arai 210 votes to 199). Who gets attention doesn’t bother her, she just wants to win against Arai in a match between two TJPW wrestlers.
DDT “JUDGEMENT 2022 ~DDT 25TH ANNIVERSARY~”, 20/03/2022 Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan
1. LiLiCo Retirement Match: LiLiCo Vs X
2. KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles: Toru Owashi, Antonio Honda, Kazuki Hirata & Yoshihiko (c) Vs Poison Sawada JULIE, Takashi Sasaki, GENTARO, MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba (w/ Naomi Susan)
3. DDT 25th Anniversary Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Michael Nakazawa
4. Special Single Match: Saki Akai Vs Maya Yukihi
5. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs Tetsuya Endo
Wrestlers from DDT’s past will come to Sumo Hall to celebrate the company’s 25th Anniversary. The rumored AEW name turned out to be Michael Nakazawa and he blatantly tried to make people think it would be Kenny Omega to get more attention. His long rivalry with Sanshiro Takagi gets revived for the big occasion.
The DDT Legend Army consists of DDT’s big players from the 2000s era of the company. Poison Sawada JULIE and his paranormal powers made him a force to be reckoned with in his prime. Takashi Sasaki is still going today, flying the flag for FREEDOMS over the last 12 years. His Aka Rangers tag partner GENTARO was a DDT mainstay from 2001-2003. The Suicide Boyz of MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba were the focal point of DDT’s tag division throughout the decade both together and in separate teams. Tying up the challenging team is Naomi Susan at ringside. She played a major role for DDT behind the scenes as the liaison for foreign wrestlers and was also the manager for Union Pro Wrestling.
Celebrity and former multiple DDT title holder LiLiCo wants to wrestle one more match before she calls time on her pro wrestling career. 2018 was the last time she wrestled in DDT and it will really make it worth her while if they can find her some handsome opponents for her farewell.
